holy shit i loved this episode so much, the fact that i had to wait three extra days for whatever reason was honestly worth it. the wraiths unionised! don't get me wrong, i suppport women's wrongs as much as the next guy, but i'm happy they got their mondays off :) also i'm reaching a point where laslo and colin robinson's relationship is honestly making me emotional, like yes! give me some dose of reality interspersed with gore and fiction! give me the father son bond we never knew was so essential to our well being!
the real takeaway tho: guillermo. holy fairy shit. we knew he was a catch already, but the peak hotness levels he achieved today. i actually squealed when he did that run up the side of the car back flip thingy. im going to be him when i grow up
side note, can we talk about nandor's casual suicidal tendencies? 'kill me, guillermo, what kind of vampire cannot defeat his own familar?' baby, you sure that's the reason? you sure you're not feeling guilty because you were seriously concerned for a second there that you killed him? you were, weren't you? i cannot wait for him to find out guillermo has a boyfriend, what the hell, he's so jeaous over and proud of his boyfr—ahem, familar. also i ascended to heaven when he did that flirty glance thing while calling guillermo an orc. you will always be famous
Slight spoilers for both The Bloodright Trilogy and Red Rising series.
The Bloodright Trilogy is Red Rising light. All the space politics and battles and manipulation. Brilliant tacticians born to lead and found family unbreakable bonds. Crazy amazing side characters.
The difference for the Bloodright trilogy is a scrumptious friends to mutual pining to lovers to enemies to lovers to enemies(??) to lovers. And no one actually dies absolutely BRUTALLY on page.
The Fellowship
When I was a kid, my folks basically told me I was a hobbit. I cherish the memory of them reading all these books to me--and I turned around and read them to my little siblings and eventually to my partner! I've drawn and painted a lot for The Hobbit but never The Lord of the Rings, and this ECCC seemed like the right time to debut one!
i never feel closer to my ancestors than when i start having visions of scary faces while i'm trying to get to sleep. i just know in my heart that grug the mammoth hunter and edward the 18th century dandy also saw the skull.
