As you said you're open to questions, and I've never seen a "needs space" leash before - is there like, an accepted universal response/behaviour around a dog with such a thing? Like, I know not to bother service dogs, and to respect a therapy dog needing personal space after they're done providing therapy, that sort of thing, and in like, a big park I'd just keep going on my path/sitting where I am/whatevs and trust them and their human to handle the situation as they see fit, because there is the space for them to do so, but what if, say, one is coming towards me on the sidewalk, and thus the space is limited? Should I still continue as normal, or try to provide more space on purpose, maybe by walking closer to the side the dog isn't so their human can be a barrier?
I love my boy, so I'm going to intersperse some of my favorite pictures of him throughout this.
Tumblr media
The day he came home vs a year later.
So, Aengus is fear reactive and incredibly anxious around people and animals he doesn't know -- sort of an automatic "I think these people are a danger to me and my human" thought process that means he does great big boofs, and sometimes will lunge at anyone who gets too close.
He was, unfortunately, already traumatized by the time he came to me -- he'd been anemic, stung by wasps, his poor little paws were rubbed raw from walking on hot concrete, and he was terrified of people.
Tumblr media
"Too close," for him, generally means within 10 feet, for people he doesn't know well.
I can usually keep him focused on our walks or a specific task ("sit" and "wait" are both ones he's gotten pretty good at) when just passing by people, provided that they ignore us (unless they also have a dog, and then it's, "okay, time to detour to get home faster and without an interaction").
In an ideal world, I would have the money to get him the behavioral training I know he needs, and the supervised socialization time with other dogs I wish he had. I want it for him so much, but... yeah. I lack the money for someone who knows what they're doing, and I'm too disabled to try and DIY it on a consistent enough basis to be beneficial to him. So we muddle through as best we can.
He's my baby, and I love him so so much
Tumblr media
When I take him out, the ideal behavior from people in the distance who see the "Needs Space" tag on his leash is that they will simply ignore us. Feel free to privately coo over how adorable he is, and even a friendly wave is fine from a distance. I love seeing people see him and have the "!!!!! I saw a dog!!!!" moment. It makes me very happy!!!
But, in the situation of crossing paths, yes, making it so that the owner is between you and the dog is the best choice. Personally, as the person responsible for my dog, I will usually do that immediately when I see someone coming our direction, and keep the leash tight and him close to me for both their safety and his. But sometimes folks will just see DOG and their self-preservation instinct shuts down with a quickness.
I can't tell you the number of times I've had children old enough to have been taught better just run up to us, completely unbothered by the fact that he is trying to protect me with his big ol' boofs of "get the fuck away" because Oh Cute Dog Trumps Animal Safety. I have to be like, "He's not friendly, sorry sorry sorry" and cut short our morning walks a million times. Which isn't fair to either of us.
Tumblr media
he loves rough-housing so much and he makes the best honking sounds
The handful of times I've taken him to one of the local walking paths, I have him sit on the side of the trail, holding him tight in a sit+wait, and having him wait until the other person has passed us. Sometimes, he's very good and not at all interested in the other person. Sometimes, it's more of a fight to keep him distracted.
So, I guess my overall advice is:
"Be aware of the potentially dangerous animal in your immediate vicinity, maintain reasonable and available distance, and take your cues from the owner. Prioritize your own safety, and that of the animal."
Something I wish more people used to inform their behavior around strange dogs -- but admittedly, my dog in particular, is that if someone (or more likely, in my neighborhood, their unleashed and uncontrolled dog 😡) just runs up on Aengus, and he freaks out and bites them, he's the one that dies.
Tumblr media
I ask him, "Where's your baby?" and he brings me his lamb-chop. (This toy has since disintegrated, and I haven't been able to replace it, unfortunately.)
So thank you so, so much for asking about this.
Don't get me wrong -- I don't want people to be afraid of my dog; he's a big ol doofus that trips over his own very long legs and sleeps with stuffies.
He learned how to throw his toys at me, and now he refuses to hand them to me when we play fetch -- he just lobs them at me from his mouth. He pounces on his toys like an arctic fox jumps into snow, and sometimes he sleeps like an AT-AT.
Tumblr media
See?
But every dog has the capacity to be dangerous, and I wish people would spend more time asking these questions so I can give them the answers that keep them and reactive dogs safe.

If I start talking about trauma in MDZS I might never stop. What's most beautiful to me is that the way each character reacts to the same situation is different. It is unique to their personality and it's a little beautiful.
Mengyao and Xue Yang weaponizing their trauma and turning it into a sword to take down anything that stands in their way.
Xingchen unfortunately internalising his trauma, blaming himself and taking responsibility for whatever he believes he's caused.
Song Lan actually goes out and tries to resolve his trauma which was nice and healthy, until everyone died of course.
Jiang Cheng turning his trauma into rage because admitting the pain and loneliness hurts too much.
Wei Ying amazingly does that thing that children do where they forget terrible memories to protect their fragile minds and hearts. This dude thinks all the things he's gone through is just everyday living. He is not at all phased by it. What he does remember, interestingly, is now the stuff that happened when he was a kid. He's still terrified by dogs till this day, no matter how strong he becomes, it means nothing against that one memory of being chased and bitten by them as a child.
Lan Zhan turned his trauma into self harm and denial. Yes, self harm and no one takes this seriously enough. He trekked a barren mountain with multiple whip wounds searching for someone who everyone had watched die. He BRANDED his own chest. Lan Zhan's trauma is slept on.
Xichen also ignores his trauma. His brain doesn't protect him, he just pretends he can't see it. It piles and piles and piles and finally everything just shattered. Can't even blame Xichen for breaking down, he'd been playing therapist for too many people for way too long.
Mingjue turned his trauma into strength which I think was pretty bad ass of him. 🔥 Became a one man army. Too bad he's also brutally honest to a fault.
Huaisang also turned his trauma into 'strength'. More like a deadly weapon of mass destruction.
Wen Ning. Sigh. I don't even know where to start because I haven't started dissecting his sad ass story. They killed his sister right in front of him. Right in front of baby. He never did a single thing wrong. The world is cruel.
Jin Ling took a page out of his Uncle's book and turned his pain to rage.
Sizhui was a child when shit went down so fortunately for him, he doesn't remember most of it.
Yanli sets aside her pain and just takes care of her family. It cost her.
Zixuan never had much trauma to begin with, unless we count being bullied by Wei Ying. 😂 That boy was smacking him anyhow.
Not sure if I'm missing anyone. Su She was just bitter. Maybe he had trauma, maybe I don't care cause I don't like him. How can anyone hate on the Lan brothers cause they were born heirs? They didn't ask for that life. Sour cockroach.
Back on Zixuan, having a prostitute father should count for some kind of trauma. It's absolutely disgusting to have a role model that shameless. He refused all pages from his father's book and swore to be nothing like him. It was cute, and sad. Sad that he still ended up paying for father's sins.
"I didn't mean to kill Zixuan. I just wanted him to suffer a little."
F you for that statement Mengyao. I love you, but F you.

Kakashi: when should we start them on tree walking?
Itachi: But they cant walk yet?
Gai: then they will tree CRAWL with the power of their Youth!!!
Kakashi: see itachi, don’t be such a downer
Iruka would absolutely earn all of their love and loyalty. So I propose that the little baby ninjas adopt him right back and they’re all like oh no he doesn’t have the skill of an elite ninja genius! We gotta protect him! He would be the most highly protected person in Konoha after the Hokage himself.
Iruka seeing the class of absolute hellions and breaking into tears because he’s going to filthy goddamn rich.
Also, im pretty sure if sasuke is a baby here, Itachi would be like 7 (just graduated). But we can ignore that because him being here is way too goddamn funny.
(Canon is subjective and I can take the pieces I like and shove the rest under the floorboards to slowly drive me insane. A few years for Itachi so he gets to watch his baby brother and be terrifying while doing so is a small price to pay for the hilarity of three teenagers raising the most terrifying generation of Shinobi the world has ever seen)
Ajsjsjjs ITACHI IS THE VOICE OF REASON. At least to the point where he’s like “um maybe let them stand up first?” is very funny. Like he has some idea of what children are supposed to be like but he’s never had to try? So when the kids start getting it he’s like “shit yeah that makes sense so you want a knife?” And it all snowballs from there.
These twelve Jonin level monsters of five year olds take one look at their chunin teacher and collectively decide that he needs help look at him he’s so squishy! Iruka has one (1) disagreement with Mizuki and ten minutes later the man is actively on fire and dodging knives left and right. He’s pretty sure Sakura put a genjutsu on him. Shikamaru might be trying to strangle him with his shadows.
After the first three instructors quit and threaten to go Missing nin if they ever have to teach those demons again Iruka rolls up with a new contract and the smug superiority of someone who knows he has all the power
If the kids find out he’s also an orphan he’s never getting free of them.

I'd have to disagree with your complaints about that episode.
For one, I'm pretty sure it was said that the kids snuck out when Dot and Alex were asleep.
Second: Bots were in hiding mostly because of G.H.O.S.T and since it's HQ is in Witwicky, they'd be relatively safe from them in Phily.
Plus since Robby and Mo have giant robot siblings to protect them they wouldn't feel worried about being around strangers at night.
Ofc they were proven to be wrong about being safe but they were logical in thinking that they were.
Sorry for bad english btw.
Dot and Alex being asleep when this goes down makes it worse for me.
These kids should know better at this point.
At the very least Robby and Mo should know better. I didn’t fucking sneak out after my parents had gone to sleep to go hang out in the CBD when I was 8-12 years old.
And fuck, that still doesn’t explain why NO ONE on the streets seems to care for the unattended children (again, is this just an American thing???).
And having “giant robot siblings to protect you” didn’t mean jackshit all when one of them got KIDNAPPED, did it?!
I should reiterate, this isn’t just fear for Robby and Mo either, this is fear for the terrans as well. Giant robots they may be, but they are basically still children. The show has been VERY obvious at hammering that point home.
They are learning about the world, and people will take advantage of them and we SEE that happen.
Look, again, I think I’m just looking at this from an adult perspective. I’m going to assume the episodes end with the kids getting back and no one being the wiser.
But what if it didn’t? Say you’re a parent, you wake up and your young child is gone. Let’s say if Jawbreaker doesn’t make it home safe before Alex and Dot are wake up or anyone comes to save him. What do you think will happen to him? What do you think Alex and Dots chances of finding him are at all, let alone alive, are?
It’s terrifying to think of young children, regardless of species, being unattended and alone and in a situation that just hits a lot of real adult fear for me.
The much better way that writing in this episode could’ve gone would’ve been if the terrans, the objectively youngest of them all, had snuck out themselves and Robby and Mo had gone after them in a desperate attempt to keep them safe.

Just gonna mass dump Frontier thoughts rather than post episode by episode. I just wanna watch and enjoy then scribble thoughts down afterwards. This isn't like serious reviews or anything.
EP 2. Wolfmon of Light - Battle in the Underground Maze! -details re: the missing chunks of world which I was wondering about just 15 minutes ago are revealed -Tomoki wanting to be a hero is sweet but given how Digimon loves psychologically torturing children, I am deeply concerned for him lol -Blue Boy is Koji, like the delicious fungus! -what is it with Digimon and chocolate? also a train having a huge tongue like that is terrifying in a way I can't quite describe -more screentime for Izumi and Junpei! (So much so that I actually remembered their names roffle) The vibe I got from Izumi in the first ep was that she thinks of herself as being more mature than others and Junpei being concerned about what others think (in a kind of "socially cowardly" way) and that follows through here. I'm not sure I'm articulating what I mean properly lol. But it's pretty good characterisation so far to give the characters such little screentime in the first ep but still communicate a lot about their personalities. -After Takuya and Izumi fall down the hole, Neemon turns to Bokomon and asks "should we fall down too?" gave me a good chuckle, I'm looking forward to seeing what these two bring to the group -Raremon is gross and creepy, nice. I was starting to think Koji's evolution debut would be him beating up some babies who wanted chocolate lol -Koji just being accidentally pushed into a hole that happened to contain the Spirit felt weak but pretty funny, like damn dude, thank goodness it wasn't one of those holes that just. fell. forever. into the air outside lol -Also I dunno if there was just little/no music in episode 1 (don't recall to be honest) but the bgm in this episode was really nice -overall a decent episode, the Pagumon chases were a nice more lighthearted threat after LITERAL HELL DOG TRIES BURNING TINY CHILDREN ALIVE
EP 3. I Won't Allow Bullying! Evolve into Chakmon of Ice -So they have the chance to return home, Junpei wants to, the others send Tomoki away. I always love in stories when kids are like "we're OLDER so LISTEN to us!" and the elders are like 10 years old -it's nice the kids don't all just get along, even if they're sticking together, there's obviously friction with their personalities and what they want to do -Bokomon and Neemon are nice support/comic relief, they're funny but not overbearing which is always my worry with characters like this -more backstory!! so Lucemon was an evil tyrant, but now it's Cherubimon who's screwing up the world… we got ourselves a fallen angel theme going so far -THAT CANDMON HAS A MOUSTACHE -Bruh the scene where Tomoki uses his hat to try dousing the Candmon to protect Takuya is so sweet, this kid's legit, best character for sure lol -Chakmon's evolution animaton is so cute omg, Chakmon always looked so serious in its artwork but it's super cute -not gonna lie Wizardmon just appearing suddenly confused the hell outta me haha -overall though i really liked this ep, the episodes so far are all really nicely paced
EP 4. My Kicks Hurt! The Female Warrior Fairymon -The Forest Terminal being in the forest literally makes so much sense my guy. I mean you are in Crazy Whacko Nonsense world but still. "I live in Ocean View." "Oh, where's that?" "In the middle of the desert." -Floramon's head is apparently completely empty. Oh my. Which makes me wonder how the Mushmon… made their mushroom soup… -Izumi straight up SLAPPING Mushmon is so good. I always love when Digimon kids are totally out of their league fighting these monsters but they don't care and still try to mess 'em up. -Woodmon secretly three Mushmon in a trench coat confirmed. -lol that booty attack Fairymon does. "no no it isn't the ten-year-old Izumi, it's FAIRYMON, it's totally different we swear ehehehehe" I'm kinda curious about what the dub looks now though -Sucks that Izumi's evolution debut has her getting knocked out cold like that. Just seemed like an excuse to have Koji show up and barely interact again. -I'm 99% sure Bokomon is secretly The Ultimate Evil this series. -Junpei being so convinced he's getting a Spirit is nice. Shows he's been paying attention. A shame the same cannot be said of Koji who still refuses to tag along with the main gang. My fella, you are right there in the intro with them. You cannot escape.

Still about the Christmas Sequel to IHTBY, I know I’m mean for it, but it would be hilarious to see Azula actually pranking her parents and Zuko into believing she’s pregnant, when it seems that she and Sokka didn’t even banged yet, in this setting. And the way you depicted Ozai is exactly like I imagine him in a modern setting. Also liked Ursa and Azula’s dynamic. Ursa clearly loves her children, but I can’t blame Azula for resenting her. And poor Zuko seems to be clueless about everything.
x'DDDD oooh hell, the trolling potential there is terrifying. I really don't know if Ozai would ever recover from such a shock. The man is just perpetually paranoid about that concept, he'd believe it 100% and he'd probably make her take an ecography test to make sure it's not true even after she says she's messing around and that it's not possible x'D while Ozai is certainly grateful, deeeeeeeeeep down, that Azula decided to date a good-hearted nerd, of all things, he still is an idiot about protecting his daughter from the evil claws of... this good-hearted nerd xD
I'm glad my depiction of Ozai works for you in this setting! I do know that the popular take is to make Ozai an extremely problematic/abusive parent and spouse regardless of the setting... but I really wanted IHTBY to be a pretty idealistic AU, in general, without the heaviest clouds of canon baggage. Hence why I refused to kill off Kya, I saw that happen so many times in so many AUs and most the time it feels like people just don't think Sokka and Katara could be the same characters without Kya dying? Well, sure thing, because they'd be a lot less traumatized :'D in short, I don't see the drawback in keeping her alive, and having a chance to play with the concept of Kya's character is always enjoyable. So yep, writing a pretty positive and wholesome AU allowed me to think about what kind of man Ozai could be in a world slightly less ruthless than the one we see in canon. And while he's obviously not a great, perfect dude, he's evidently a lot less unpleasant than many other Ozais I've written. (Yakuza AU Ozai still takes the cake in the "worst Ozais I've written" contest, I'd say...)
As for Azula and Ursa's complicated dynamic... yeeeeeah, there's a lot to work with there, haha. I have to admit I've developed a very unexpected liking to the potential bond between these two in later years, because back when I wrote the original IHTBY? I was just soooo mad at Ursa after The Search, so the whole angle in IHTBY of Ursa being with Ikem in secret and cheating on Ozai was mostly about me exteriorizing my frustration with that comic :'D
... Then the joke was on me because then the sequel made Ursa something like an emotional core of the story. The jumpstart of her development, when Azula brings them the invitation to Sokka's family's party, kind of unleashed my brain when it came to her character's potential XD There's a lot that can be done with her character in a lot of settings (... not so much for me in comic-compliant ones, but anyway...), but one of the things that the Christmas story was absolutely going to feature was Ursa finally facing Azula directly, reconciliating with her (and of course, ending things with a certain someone...) and eventually finding her place in her own family once more. So... yeah. I really should get going and just write it xD
Zuko may be the most hilarious character in this story, unintentionally so. He's constantly clueless about things, and in remaining clueless, he's surprisingly way more innocent than anyone expects from him. He was going to have a very lighthearted subplot in the sequel, definitely lighthearted compared to the much heavier plotline with Ursa, so... if you enjoyed clueless Zuko, all the more reason for me to get on with writing the rest of it, haha. He's just really funny in this story, most of all because he's not even trying to be funny XD

The Lore for my draconic sorcerer BG3 MC under the cut
My high half-elf draconic sorcerer was born to a wealthy merchant family. Her dragon ancestry came as a huge surprise. Her dragon ancestor was pretty much forgotten in her family line. He was once a beloved hero, but he was removed from history due to being a red dragon. "Lest people begin to trust those who should never be trusted, it is unsafe to sing this beast's praises." (A quote from whom??? we may never know...) Anyways, she was doted on by her family and praised for her abilities. One thing she loved more than all the gold and jewels in the world, is being praised and loved for her good deeds. Not that she NEEDED praise to do good things, but they certainly helped motivate her. She often did charity work, in particular held free tutoring classes to impoverished children in Baldur's Gate to teach them how to read and write. The children adore her and she adores them. While some may raise an eyebrow at her red dragon ancestry, she's quick to prove them of her strong will to do good in the world.
She's a little feisty and sassy, and can be vain and egotistical at times, but she's also gentle, patient, and understanding, as well as kind to a fault. She will sometimes praise herself in a teasing way (like, if someone asks her how she handles teaching a large class of misbehaving street urchins, she says "Well, it's easy when you're as perfect as me~"), but not everyone understands her humor and she can come off as being more full of herself than she really is. She's actually quite shy and insecure, worried she's not living up to her parents lofty expectations. She feels as though she's destined for greatness, a pressure they put on her thanks to her powers. And the better her reputation, the better her parents business does, which only adds to it. She wants to make a name for herself as a hero of legend and make her family proud.
She is completely clueless when it comes to romantic love, as she doesn't spend a lot of time- or ANY time- dating. She'll claim she just doesn't have the time for it, but in truth she's just scared to put herself out here and be vulnerable. She's absolutely terrified of getting her heart broken. She does however read a LOT of romance novels and daydreams for hours on end of her perfect lover and all the cute little dragon-sorcerer babies they'll have. This doesn't mean she thinks herself lonely though, as she finds plenty of happiness in her friendships. She greatly cherishes her friends and she will do anything for them. As long as she has her friends, she'll be happy even if she never finds a romantic partner.
And about her red dragon ancestor! As a baby, his mother died in a battle with another female dragon over her horde. The two fought till they both perished, leaving him all alone. Eventually, he became so starving he flew to the ground to hunt. A group of elves travelling back home to their village came across the baby dragon, and taking pity on him, fed him and nursed him back to health. At first the rest of the village was extremely apprehensive about keeping the dragon around- sure it's a fairly harmless baby now, but when it grows up, surely it's evil nature will take over and it will raze the village down. Many wanted to put him down, but the one who become his adopted mother fought hard for him. He acclimated to the community surprisingly well, and as he grew older and stronger become the guardian of the village. While he was vain and egotistical, he had a good heart at his core and would do anything to protect his village and his family.
His childhood friend and eventual wife was an elven girl who was a powerful wild magic sorcerer, but was very shy and insecure about her abilities. After causing a horrible rainstorm that led to the death of some livestock, she tried to bottle up her powers. With his help, she learned how to control and harness her powers better and become more confident in herself. In turn, she helped keep him in check and humble, so his cocky nature wouldn't get the best of him. They were considered to be the perfect match, who halves of a whole. The two would go on many adventures in their adulthood, and had become legendary heroes- or at least, they would have been, had they not been erased from history.
Many many years later, a half-elf, half-human girl was born, a spark of her ancestor's powerful draconic magic radiating from within her- as well as showing quite plainly with the shimmering pinkish-red dragon scales dotted all over her body. And her birth marked the rise of her ancestor's legacy once more...

I don’t know why but things involving babies and their mothers have been especially affecting me lately. I’m not a mother but I probably would have been if I lived in the past (going by my age and social class). I’m guessing this is an age/hormone thing that eventually effects many women. :/
There was a video (a Tik Tok I think)  where a horse mother lost her baby and another horse baby had lost his mother. They were put together and the horse mom adopted the horse orphan as her own son. It just hit me right in the heart so hard. I’m glad they have each other. <3
I just can’t imagine being a mother myself. So overwhelming. Babies crying is like torture to me. I want to help them even though I’m not their mother. Since I can’t help them, it makes me panic. (Yes, I’m aware this is not a normal reaction).
Horror movies with children or babies would absolutely work on me. And some of the horror/paranormal stuff I write sort of reflects those fears/anxieties that I have.

Live In Nanny
Villain!All Might x Reader
All Might raising baby Deku but is in desperate need of a nanny.
TW: Yandere themes, breeding kink (our villain is ready to make the reader a mommy), dub con
AN: literally just took Hero All Might and flipped him upside down. So baseline form is big buff boi and villain form is lanky but retains the strength.
Single father with a nine month old child, seeking live in nanny services. Negotiable pay. Negotiable time off/vacation days.
Toshinori was impressed with your interview. You had over 8 years of experience working with children between babysitting and working at a day care. Plus Izuku took to you immediately. It was just a bonus that you were easy on the eyes.
You agreed to begin immediately, trying not to let on that you were in desperate need of money and a place to stay. You didn't have much to move in. And, in comparison to the huge room you had been given, it seemed like you owned even less. You figured your new boss must get paid well. His house was huge, the largest you'd ever been in.
Your room was next to baby Izuku's. Settling in to a routine with the baby was easy. You weren't sure exactly what your employer did for a living, his schedule was sporadic, he would be in and out throughout the day. Whenever he was available he would stop by to love on the infant. It was clear that he was doing his best as a single parent, but house keeping wasn't his strong suit. You tried your best to help out with the chores and grocery shopping, after all he was paying you graciously and giving you a roof over your head.
The only bump in the road so far has been getting Toshinori's permission to take the little one on walks through the nearby park. According to the father, errands were one thing but what was the point of going to park? Izuku can't even walk, there wouldn't be any benefit. Eventually you convinced him, after rambling about how good it is for babies to be exposed to different levels of stimulation. You could show Izuku the ducks and dogs, plus he could see all the pretty spring time flowers.
The older man was worried, he feared that his child, and you for that matter, would be targeted by his enemies. Plenty of low life's would love to make a move against the notorious villain. But you wore down his resolve. So long as you would tell him before you went. Thankfully he could play it off as being a bit of a helicopter dad. He always has a spare crony he could send out there to watch over you two.
---
"What are you both doing," your bosses laugh filled the air.
You were in a very flattering position, palms on the floor stretching through your hips, ass hiked up with a tempting arch to your back. Then you pushed yourself forward, giving the giggling baby raspberries before returning to your original position.
"Baby yoga!" You smiled, oblivious to the growing bulge in the villains pants. "Right now we're doing downward facing dog and cobra."
He watched you cycle through the motions, hypnotized by your movements.
You took such good care of him and his baby. Ever since you got here you went above and beyond (very plus ultra of you). You even packed his meals to go when he had to rush off to a job. And you did it all with a smile and his kid bouncing away at your feet. The man allowed his mind to drift to the thought of you with his babies, Izuku on your hip and your round belly ready to pop.
You made an amazing nanny but you would make an even better housewife.
---
It wasn't until a week after Izuku's birthday that you learned about your bosses occupation. You were at the park and a stranger approached you to coo over Izuku.
"Such a little cutie, this is Toshi's kid, right?"
That caught you off guard, how did this person know Toshinori? You knew he was a protective dad and there something about this woman felt off.
"Well, either way, this is for you," she smiled as she passed you a manila envelope. "A little birdie wants you to have it."
You skeptically eyed the parcel as the woman disappeared through the park. You shoved it into Izuku's diaper bag before rushing back home.
You decided to peek into the envelope after settling 'Zuku down for the night. You curled onto the chair in his nursery, using his nightlight too sift through the documents. Various photos of Toshinori, your employer, amongst high profile criminals. Photos of the most terrifying villain among his infamous exploits. And finally a piece of paper with a single web address and access code. This was the most damning piece of evidence, All Might - the villain himself - joking amongst his companions before transforming into the man you knew as Izuku's father. Without this video you would have never even guessed. All Might was known for his unassuming nature, his slender frame concealing his god-like strength. Still he looked terrifying, like make children cry type terrifying. Toshinori on the other hand was massive but his sunny attitude made him approachable. For all these months you had been working for a criminal. A criminal with a child. You had been living with him, laughing and raising a baby, taking care of him and his family. Oh god, your late night fantasies of your boss, a total DILF, were fantasies of a sadistic monster.
The betrayal and shame brought you to tears. You should call the cops. Take Izuku far away from this place, from being exposed to his fathers atrocities. But you were torn, he was a good dad, he always put his son first and provided him with only the best. He would tear the world apart for Izuku even if he had to put a target on your back. You shook as you muffled your cries, trying not to wake the baby you cared so much for. Eventually you wrote yourself out, falling asleep in the nursery.
By the time Toshinori made it home it was close to two in the morning. As usual he tip toed into his sons room, shocked to find you curled up in the rocker asleep. He was quiet, surprisingly more so than in his slender form. As you made his way to wake you he was surprised to see your phone still unlocked, you had fallen to sleep with that video on loop. Underneath your phone was the envelope, he didn't need to look to know what was inside. He hadn’t woken either of you, managing to shut off your phone and pick you up with or so much as a peep. He decided rather quickly that he would wait for you to make the first move. At least in the mean time he could pretend you didn't care about his lifestyle and that you wouldn't try to leave him or his son.
"Toshinori," you mumbled as he was about to settle you into your bed. You were half asleep and groggy from crying.
"Go back to sleep, darling, it's late," he paused to sway with you, just like he did when putting down 'Zuku for a nap. He was shocked that it worked and finally escaped your room. You let him lull you back to sleep, further affirming his belief that you would stay.
---
The next morning you creeped downstairs. Izuku wasn't in his crib, meaning Toshinori was him. You found them both in the kitchen. The sight of the pair would usually warm your body but now shivers radiated down your spine.
"Look who's up, buddy, say good morning," he bounced the child, beaming like the happiest father.
Taking a deep breath you decided to rip off the band aid. "Mr Toshinori, I have to resign."
His pause was so long you wondered if he heard you.
"Did the video upset her that much, Zuzu?"
He looked at you with the same warmth he always did. "There's no need to be formal, you were fine calling me Toshi just the other day. Take a seat, I made pancakes, just like you like'em."
You complied, his unchanged demeanor intimidating you into submission.
"There's no need for you to quit," he started. "Nothing has changed aside from your level of awareness."
"I can't work for you knowing that you hurt people."
At that his smile faltered, "Darling, if you truly felt that way, you wouldn't be here. You would've slipped out early this morning."
You were silent. He was right, in a way. Trapped between what was right and what was best for Izuku. You'd never be able to do anything about your boss's criminal activity, even if you did and All Might was locked away, Izuku would suffer the most.
"Give yourself a few days to adjust, okay? If you still want to quit after that, we can reassess."
There's was a glint in his eyes that hinted he wasn't asking.
---
"I'll be back this evening," Toshinori told you a as he kissed Izuku's forehead. He was uncomfortably close as he returned the baby to your lap. "There's plenty of groceries so you don't need to go out today. I have a coworker out front, so don’t worry if you see someone outside."
"What are they doing?"
He placed a hand on the top of your hair, petting you like some cat.
"He'll just keep an eye on things. I need someone to make sure you stay put."
---
A week flew by with your employer pushing off the discussion of your resignation. He wouldn’t leave you unsupervised so just walking away wasn’t an option, besides could you really leave Izuku?
Then the child came down with some type of bug and was absolutely miserable for several days. You couldn’t get much sleep as a result, even if his father was home for most of the day.
---
Izuku finally fell asleep around three in the morning. You napped beside his crib out of fear he would wake up if you so much as changed positions.
Then you woke in Toshi's arms as he carried you down the hall.
"Where are we going," You whined, anxious to be away from the child.
"I told you to rest, instead I find you in the nursery."
"'Zuku is sick-"
"But he's asleep, there are baby monitors, not that he won't wake the whole city up with his cries. You've been up for nearly two days with him, time for bed."
But he wasn't taking you to your room. Instead he dropped you on to his bed.
"What are you doing?" You snapped.
"I don't need you sneaking back. I can keep an eye on you here. I'll take care of him if he starts crying." He rolled in next to you.
The bed was huge but so was your boss. "Stop wiggling."
"Well I can't get comfortable."
“Fine,” he said and pulled you into him, “now stop it and get some sleep.”
You burned with embarrassment, turning silent after several attempts at protest. Just as you began to drift off, Toshinori's hand moved to beneath your shorts. You shut your eyes, pretending not to notice. He probably didn't even realize what he was doing. Then his fingers grazed the spot where your skin met your panties.
"I know you aren't asleep yet, darling."
You didn't respond, opting to keep up the façade.
"Mmm, are we playing pretend? I don't mind."
You gasped, pushing at his hand, "I'm trying to sleep."
"I can see that," he chuckled. "I'm just helping you wear yourself out. You've been taking such good care of the baby, let me return the favor."
He jerked your hips, pressing you tightly against his bulge.
"You've been such a good mommy."
God the way you could feel your body responding made you hate that he was a villain.
"'M not-" You gasped as he did his fingers into your thighs. "His mom."
"You sure about that? I know how much you care about him. Always rushing to him when he’s cranky, never taking any days off. You make sure he's a happy little baby and you take such good care of his daddy. Isn't that's what mommies do?"
A moan slipped through your lips, "Stop."
"Are you sure? It seems like your having such a good time," he teased, sliding his hand to find your wetness.
Your body jerked involuntarily. He wasted no time tearing off your layers. Your determination quickly fading.
"I'm gonna take such good care of you," he pushed a finger in to your warmth.
You shivered at the sensation. Before you could register his actions there was another digit. He skillfully maneuvered his fingers to prep walls.
"What a tight like cunt," The man cooed. "So perfect and pretty. Just waiting for me to claim."
You gasped as he curled his fingers in you. Tears of pleasure pricking your eyes.
"Atta girl, I think you're ready to take daddy's cock."
You shouldn't be surprised when you saw how absolutely hung your boss is. There was no way the whole thing would fit inside of you.
Without hesitation All Might slowly began to press inside of you. The head of his cock already made it feel like you were tearing.
"Wait wait wait," You cried. "Too big."
He paused, reassuring you, "I know you can do it baby. You're okay."
You shook your head violently.
With a sloppy squelch he withdrew. He disappeared momentarily, give you much need time to breathe. Then he was back and you felt a cool, slick fluid rub against you. He applied a generous amount of lube knowing full well that if he played his cards right you'd happily be his forever.
Regardless there was still a painful pressure as he forced himself deeper.
"You're doing so good, taking me so well."
He was slowly increasing the speed off his hips. All you could manage was incoherent whines as his momentum bounced you back and forth.
"Toshi, Toshi," You panted.
"I don't think so baby girl," he slapped your thigh. "You know what I want to hear."
You couldn't be rational, not when he was pounding into you. All you knew was pleasure in this moment. How could you not give the man what he wanted when he was fucking you dumb.
"Mmm daddy, hurts so good."
"Ah- fuck yeah. I knew you were a little pain slut. You want me to fuck you like a whore and then treat you like my little princess?"
You nodded, gasping for air.
"You've been such a good little mommy, I think you deserve this little treat huh?"
You didn't respond, stubbornly refusing to tell the man what he was desperate to hear.
He shifted to a painfully slow pace as he would pull almost completely out just to slam back into your abused whole.
"And here I thought you wanted to cum, I can always stop here, finish myself later-"
"No! No no no, don't stop."
"Then repeat after me: I'm such a good mommy."
As you stayed silent until he began to move at a snails pace. So close to losing your high.
"O-kay, okay, I-I've been a good mom-mommy," You cried tried to buck against the giant.
And just like that your boss was pushing you back to the edge of an orgasm. You were sobbing from pleasure and frustration.
"I know,” He growled. “Fucking good girl, taking care of our baby while daddy's working. You're gonna look so pretty knocked up. All glowing and swollen. Bet your tits are gonna look so pretty when they get full. Gotta keep you stuffed with my cum so our little boy can have a sibling."

The Justice League meet Nightwing
I've read every one of these fics I could find and I need more, so in a random burst of inspiration I wrote five pages of a semi-okay fanfic for the JL meet the batfam. Not sure if I should post the whole thing so this is a test to see if anyone wants to read it.
word count: 555
It hadn’t been on purpose, really.
He swore it.
But… well.
When your dad is Batman you grow up in a very paranoid house.
He was off-world (again) on some league business and so it was up to his children to take care of Gotham. Gotham has always been a cruel mistress.
It was then that some of his fathers less… intelligent co-workers had decided to show up.
Now it wasn’t like these people were stupid, they were pretty smart actually, Barry was a forensic chemist for God’s sake! But he lacked certain street-smarts that could only be achieved if you lived in Gotham.
So, he and Hal Jorden had decided that ‘when the cats away, the mice come to play’ or in this case; when the bats away, the metas come to play. Though Hal technically isn’t a meta.
He had only done his job! He was there to protect the innocent children who thought Gotham was a playground, who didn’t realise how truly terrifying she could be, metas especially. Most of them relied too heavily on their powers, they don’t think mere mortals stand a chance at actually hurting them.
They of course have never been struck with fear gas.
“No metas in Gotham,” he had growled, in much the same way Batman does.
They had both jumped, looking like headless chickens as they spun around to try and find him. Even with his blue stripes, the darkness settled over him like a cloak, protecting him.
“Isn’t Batman supposed to be off-world?” Hal had whispered to Barry, both of them clearly spooked.
He still smiles at the thought.
“No metas in Gotham,” he had repeated again, stepping out of the shadows so they could see him.
“Who are you?” Barry had been the first to speak, speedsters, always in a hurry.
“Nightwing, no metas in Gotham,” it seemed to be the only thing he had said the whole day, you should think they were five with how many times he had to repeat himself.
“We thought Batman was the only vigilante in Gotham!” Barry had said, and that made him laugh.
The kind of laugh that made him crouch and heave for breath, the kind of laugh that only jokers gas could cause.
“You shouldn’t be here if you don’t even know half of Gotham’s protectors,” because that’s what they were- are.
Gotham is a cruel mistress who will swallow you whole, but she is their cruel mistress.
“This is the last time I’ll repeat myself, no. Metas. In. Gotham.” They had seemed to get the memo, rushing out of the city. Probably going up to the watchtower to tell the rest of the league about their encounter.
He should’ve been more careful.
Because now he was here, in the cave, listening to Batman.
“Do you know how hard it is to protect you guys and keep you hidden from a group of superheroes who work in space!?” At least this was Batman scolding Nightwing, not Bruce scolding Richard.
He shudders at the thought of Bruce using his actual name.
“I’m sorry dad, but I couldn’t just have them galavanting through Gotham!”
Out of the corner of his eye, he can see Jason snicker at him, stuffing his mouth with popcorn, clearly enjoying the fact that he isn’t the one being scolded.
Traitor.

Why Bkdk is NOT toxic:
A look through their relationship throughout the series
Cw// MAJOR bnha manga spoilers
As bakudekus, we experience that “bkdk is toxic!1!” argument on a daily. It’s something that we have all just.. let sit next to us knowing that it’s always going to be there. Of course, and understandably, it bothers most of us. What many see, especially non-manga readers, isn’t what we see.
Let’s start off with what they see. In the first episode/chapter, we start off with Bakugous infamous “Swan dive off the roof” line.
Tumblr media
Of course, no matter how you look at it, this was a terrible thing that Bakugou said to Izuku. There is no excuse. Telling someones to kts, no matter how you may disagree and not see eye to eye, is always inexcusable (this applies to real life too!!)
Later in the chapter, Bakugou carries around a can that says “Lip Service,” which, pretty much means being all talk and not meaning actions behind the words that are being said (usually said with a negative connotation.)
Tumblr media
Once again, does this excuse what he said to Izuku? Absolutely not. However, this does give us insight on the future and when we find out about how Bakugou feels for Deku.
Note: As for the bullying prior to this scene, there is no proof that Bakugou continuously bullied Deku as of when this has been written.
Then, the sludge incident happened. At first glance, Deku looked horrified at the attack. However, he didn’t make any moves as he assumed that the heroes will come in and save the person. Once it was revealed to him that it was Bakugou, Izuku had his “My body moved on its own” moment and did not even hesitate to save Kacchan.
Tumblr media
After the sludge villain attack, it was explicitly stated that Bakugou had not bullied Deku since then.
Now, the two are in UA and it is revealed that Deku has a quirk to Bakugou. A quirk that he was told to keep its origins of a secret. However, Deku told Bkg about OFA, ignoring All Mights warnings because he felt like he could not lie to Kacchan. Despite them still having a very rocky relationship at this point in the series, Deku still felt the need to tell Kacchan about OFA. He could not lie to him. He could lie to his mom, all of UA, everyone in the world, but not to Kacchan.
Fast forward to DVK2 and they are fighting out their emotions. Here, Deku talks about how, although he hated those small parts of Bakugou that bullied him, he never let the bad outshine the good. He always looked up to Bakugou and wanted to be just like him.
Tumblr media
Deku compares how he sees Kacchan to All Might. His literal hero. The man who he idolizes like crazy. He felt closer and more inspired by Kacchan than All Might. Because Kacchan was always there next to him. In Dekus eyes, despite the bullying and all, he saw Kacchan as more than All Might.
Izuku expresses how he is the only one who can accept Bakugous feelings. Not because it is explicitly about the two of them, rather it’s because he is the only one willing to listen and understand where he is coming from. And Bakugou knows this too. He could have easily asked anyone else, but instead he chose Izuku. He trusted Deku enough to be vulnerable around him.
During this fight, Bakugou expresses how he always thought that Deku continuously looked down on him. And it’s because he has never seen such genuine kindness from anyone. He was always expected to get up on his own. All because of his quirk and how he was praised for being gifted with such. He always thought that Izuku had an “attitude” that he was so unfamiliar with.
Deku, during their fight, although he does not say it out loud because he thinks that it “sounds stupid,” talks about how he sees Kacchan and his image of victory. To him, when he thinks of victory, Kacchan is who comes to mind.
After this fight, they are able to start to see eye to eye and start to understand each other’s perspectives. Now that Bakugou knows about OFA, they start to work and grow together. Win to save and Save to win.
Tumblr media
In the JT arc there are very fun moments between the two as they start becoming more and more friendly with each other. They continue to try and one up each other, but it is much different than before. There is a lighter undertone to their words and actions. They start hanging out in the meeting room with All Might as there is also a lot of banter between the two—this is when their relationship has started to mend. Not to mention, during this arc Deku unlocks black whip all because Monoma insulted Kacchan.
Now, after the two spend so much time together with the JT and Endeavor agency arcs, the two has become much closer than they were at the beginning of the series. The two have started to mend their bond and continue to do so.
Then, the war arc.
After realizing that Shigaraki is after OFA, Deku makes the decision to follow after him. Throughout these panels, he looks absolutely terrified. Of course, why wouldn’t he be? He is about to run into a battle field all on his own, without any support and with no one knowing what he plans to do.
However, Kacchan does.
Kacchan follows Deku to Shigaraki. He claims that it’s because he has “unfinished business” with him, but, while that may be partly true, that’s not the full truth (I.e. he wants to protect Deku.)
Now, the two have reached Shigaraki and Deku is fighting against him. Bakugou tells Deku to get away from him and that he should be the last person near him. The response Bakugou gets is that no one else can defeat Shigaraki as Kacchan watches Deku in absolute fear that he will end up being terribly hurt.
Tumblr media
Side note: look at the terror in his eyes.. I’m gonna sob
Within this specific fight with Shigaraki, there are many heroes with the two. Some of which are Endeavor, Shouto, Rock Lock, Aizawa (injured), etc. Despite knowing that this is a child up in the air fighting Shigaraki, some (not Rock Lock, he had the right idea with questioning why children are on the battle field) look in amazement as Deku continuously breaks himself so he can try and get Shigaraki down.
However, Kacchan sees past this as he yells at the other heroes about how this is not helping Deku in the slightest and that he is going to get himself killed at the rate that he was going.
Bakugou devises a plan to try and help Deku and to get Shigaraki down as the heroes look in awe at Deku. He uses Shouto and Endeavor as they try and get up to where the two were and have Endeavor use his Prominence Burn on Shigaraki in hopes that would bring him down.
While Bakugou is flying them up to Deku, he has a flashback to a conversation with All Might.
They were training Deku with black whip. They were playing a game called “Catch a Kacchan” (I will never get over how cute this name is 😭) and they called in others to help Deku practice with quirks similar to the ones that he will eventually or has either unlocked (Uraraka for Float, Tsu for black whip, etc.)
As All Might and Bakugou watch on as Deku trains, they have a conversation.
Bakugou asks All Might why he is hiding information about the fourth user from Deku. No, he doesn’t ask, he confronts him. He confronts his childhood hero for the sake of Deku. He straight up tells All Might to stop keeping information from, knowing that this could potentially harm him.
Bakugou is upset at that point. He wishes for All Might to stop keeping secrets from them, more specifically Deku.
Then, as the two continue to talk, All Might brings up the fact that he is worried for Izuku. And Bakugou is too, to which he does not deny in any sort of way.
Tumblr media
Note: once again, even when they’re not on the battle field, Bakugou looks so worried for Deku. Many have speculated that him looking tired throughout this chapter (ch. 284) has to do with him continuously worrying about Izuku and thinking about their past together.
Bakugou continues the conversation as he talks about how Deku does not understand how special he is. All Might brings up the idea of atonement and questions Bakugou as to whether that is what he is doing with Deku as a way to make up for their past, to which Bakugou does not disagree upon. The conversation then ends with All Might talking about how the two will eventually get to talk this out together and allow for Bakugou to express his worries for Deku to him.
Then, the scene changes back to the battle field as Endeavor uses his Prominence Burn onto Shigaraki, only for it to fail as he got right back up due to his regeneration.
The battle continues between Deku and Shigaraki (who at this point is AFO) as he releases Quirk Activation spikes in Izukus direction.
Kacchan, seeing as Deku is about to get hurt, rushes to him in an instant.
Throughout this scene, we see Bakugous inner monologue. Here, we are shown all his regrets with his and Dekus relationship. How he completely regrets bullying him in the past. Deku are his final thoughts in a moment where he thinks he is about to die.
Kacchan had his “my body moved on its own” moment as he rushed in to save Deku.
Tumblr media
After Bakugou was hit, his first words to Deku were to try and calm him down and to tell him to not win this on his own.
Upon seeing Kacchan hurt, to even say that Deku went bat shit crazy would be an understatement. He was absolutely livid as we see him fight like never before.
As Deku continues to fight against Shigaraki, Shouto flies up with his fire quirk to catch Bakugou as he is falling, to which he eventually grabs Deku after him and Shigaraki separate and Izuku starts to fall.
After putting them on the ground, Shouto goes back and fight with Nejire.
As Iida had arrived at the battle field by this point, he tries to help an injured Bakugou get out of the battle field. However, Bakugou refuses as he continues to fight.
Here, it is revealed that Bakugou, just by seeing Deku almost die, has never felt so close to death in his lifetime. Not when Bakugou got kidnapped. Not when class 1A was attack at the USJ, not after he was stabbed. It was the thought of Deku dying that made him feel like he was about to die.
The need to get to Deku caused for a quirk evolution as he had to advance his quirk in that moment to be able to reach Deku.
Tumblr media
After the battle is done, Bakugou falls into a 2 day coma. When he wakes up, the first thing he asks is how Deku, Todoroki, Aizawa, etc. are doing.
Upon hearing that Deku is still asleep, Kacchan rushes out of bed to get to his room despite still being heavily injured. At this moment, Bakugou knew that he would not be able to talk to Deku. He just wanted to know if he was okay. He just wanted to see him.
Tumblr media
After having to tie him up with Tsuyus tongue, knowing that that if they tie him up with anything else he would explode it, Bakugou yells “Why am I awake while you’re still asleep?” towards Dekus room as he is being dragged away by the class.
Many have taken that line as a way of showing that Bakugou fully expected to die for Deku at that moment. And he was willing to. Seeing that his effort to protect him failed and led to Deku being in a coma only greatly upset Kacchan.
At the moment that this has been written, Deku still hasn’t woken up and Kacchan was forced back to his room.
If after reading this post you still think that bkdk is toxic because of their past, I do want you to understand that people change. We all have a past, a present, and a future. You are not who you were in your past. You are who you are in the present, and you will be someone different in the future.
Bakugou clearly regrets how he treated Deku. This is not an opinion, this is a fact. He is trying to change and mend their relationship. They are living in the present right now, not the past.
Izuku does not hold any grudge against him and even admits that he feels blessed to be able to have conversations with Kacchan.
When it comes to Bakudeku, so many only look at the first episode. Even if you’re just an anime-only, the anime has DVK2. The episode where a lot of their progression comes from.
At this point, if you still think that their relationship is toxic, then im really not sure what to tell you. If your argument is still “in the first episode...” The no. Stop. We are 300+ chapters in. These two are the main protagonists and the show literally revolves around them. They are obviously going to grow. You can’t completely ignore this growth because of what happened in the first episode. You can’t only look at the things you want to and ignore the big picture.

A princess is a creature of grace, poise, decorum. They are soft, gentle, patient. I, however, was none of those things, much to my parents’ despair.
They only brought that upon themselves, of course. A firstborn daughter, a royal invitation to greet the new monarch not sent, and therefore an insult perceived by a powerful magical being. You know how the story goes. I was cursed and, in my story, there were no blessings to gentle it. No other wishes for my future, or what little she left of it. Just a creature of shadow and talon which appeared, damned the bright vision my parents had of my life, and vanished.
My childhood was a moderately happy one, even with the dark cloud of the curse hanging forever in my periphery. My parents loved me. My sisters, when they were born, did the same. And I of course love them with all that I am. My parents hired tutors, made sure I learned what it meant to be a monarch, made sure I was prepared for a future of rule. They simply made sure my sister learned as well.
“Just in case.” My father would say, his gaze flitting across the empty hallways as if something unseen was always listening, always watching.
And when I got too restless, when the green of the forest and the blue of the lake called to me and I couldn’t help but give in to the need to run, to chase, they took me riding. We’d make trips, have picnics, run around on the heather-filled fields and watch the sky change her colour with the setting sun. For the longest time, we were as happy as we could be.
My eighteenth birthday was a beautiful and clear full moon night. The air rife with the scents of fresh bread and roasted meats of the feast held in honour of my coming of age. Gentle and joyful music filled the ballroom as people danced and laughed all night.
In an empty hallway, as far away from people as I could get, I screamed and cried as my body tore itself apart. As the wildness that had always lived inside of me wanted out. The howl that tore from my newly changed throat was loud enough to wake the entire city.
I should have been terrified. I should be lamenting the turn my life had taken, all the things I now no longer could do. I should have felt all of those things. But when I made my way out of the castle and into the forest, the ground soft underneath my paws, the silver moonlight a gentle caress on my fur, I couldn’t help but think that his curse tasted a lot like freedom.
The wildness that had always lived inside of me, the parts that longed to shed the tight clothing and even tighter responsibilities of nobility, were torn from the inner shadow where I had hidden them and shoved into the light. The parts of me that wished to run, to hunt, to feast, finally had a chance to be free.
  Things changed after that.
Now, people are wary, afraid. My parents try, they really do. To teach me to act normal, ladylike, human. It’s of no use. The wolf lurks under my skin, peering out of my eyes.
People whisper about how much of a waste it is, such a shame, that a curse has changed me so. They don’t see, they don’t understand. The wolf, the wildness, the hunger, has always been there. It is me, the deepest parts of my soul given physical form.
Life goes on. My sister, perfect, composed, kind, steps into the limelight. Or is pushed, I should say. To placate those who question my place at Court. Meanwhile I am forced into the background. An animal in the shadows meant to be forgotten.
My wolf balks at the idea of corsets, of rules, of restriction. Doesn’t understand the need for playing nice with nobles it doesn’t like. She’s a creature of instinct, simplicity, and therefore, so am I.
I spend my days roaming the grounds, protecting what is mine. The people of the city avert their eyes as I go past. Whisper about curses and how they spread, about what it means for the Kingdom that their princess is now a different creature altogether.
My wolf claims the entirety kingdom as her territory and as I get older, I travel further. Checking in daily with the people on the far edges of the lands. The misfits and the outcasts. The ones with wisdom and magic who have been pushed towards the edges of the kingdom long before I was born. Hatred and fear pushed us all here, to the lands where the briar grows three men tall. Where the trees and the shadows move on their own and where the water of the lake is always smooth, no matter how fierce the storm.
I help where I can, chasing off the foxes for the farmers, climbing trees to hang fetches and talismans for protection, bringing food to those who need it most. Most time is spent drinking tea and discussing life with the old lady whom everyone calls ‘witch’. She teaches me all she knows. Things the tutors at the castle never knew to teach me. About the plants and trees that grow, the animals that roam deep within the forest. About life here, on the outskirts of society, and all the peoples and creatures that are part of it. Here, the people look me in the eye. They bow their heads in respect but never in fear. The bravest of the children ask to card their hands through my fur. The old woman laughingly gifts me a crown of twigs and burrs and rowanberries the colour of blood. Every time I’m in my human skin I wear that crown with pride.
One day, deep within the forest at the edge of my territory, I meet her. The being who has brought all that was hidden within me to the front and then illuminated it. I shift back to human, standing before her, naked and open, but never vulnerable, thanks to her. I thank her for the gifts she has given me. For the freedom and power and strength. The look on her face when I name her fairy godmother is priceless.
She smiles at me then, a flash of razor-sharp teeth. I bare my own fangs back at her. She asks me then, if I understand. How they are being treated. Those who do not fit in, those who are made of wildness and shadow and blood. How they are shunned because of what they are.
She tells me this will change, once I am queen. When I tell her that I never will be, that my parents will never find a match for me, she simply laughs and tells me not to worry. After all, I have a fairy godmother now.
She keeps close after that. Always watching, always near, but never interfering. Not unless I ask her to. So when war, inevitably, finds itself at our borders, I ask for her aid. I stand in the middle of the bloodied battlefield, staring at the incoming forces. The wolf in me is itching underneath my skin. She wishes to hunt, to kill, to feel flesh rip underneath her claws, blood filling her mouth as she tears them apart. So I call out to my fairy godmother, asking if she would join me for a hunt, before I shed my skin along with my humanity and charge forward.
The battle is brutal and short. The enemy army is better trained, but not against the army of outcasts led by myself and my fairy godmother. Their swords and shields quickly fall against our teeth, claws and magic.
Afterwards, I greet my father on the battlefield. Bare and covered in blood. There is fear in his eyes, yes, but also respect. And, for the first time, trust.
Things change once again. I am brought back into the castle, but nothing is the same. I spend most of my time in the forests, still, but I also find myself fighting. Training with weapons other than tooth and claw. Weathered old men, tutors, hired by my father to teach me all they know. I learn how much I don’t know, how much there is still to learn. I earn my scars, even if they never stay for long. I earn their respect, even if it is hard won. I am no longer alone, some of my people from the outskirts join me and never leave their princess’ side.
It doesn’t take long before suitors come from all over the world, wishing to marry one of my sisters. Singing praises about the small kingdom that could so quickly put an end to war. That could tame monsters and wild things. Silly men, none of us were tamed, we simply chose to fight.
My parents and sisters work hard to get the most advantageous matches. To make sure that both the kingdom and my sisters will continue to grow and prosper. Bargains are struck, feasts are had. One by one my sisters move away, happy with their chosen husbands. All of them are visited by a giant wolf at least once. They know to treat my sisters well, or one night feel the sharp tips of my fangs against their throat.
Years later I am gifted another crown. It is a beautiful thing. Delicate golden flowers and bright shining gems. It feels uncomfortable to me the way all pretty things do. “It might not suit you,” my father tells me, “but you have earned it.”
“As you have earned your rest.” I tell him.
“You will be wonderful, my Queen.”
Rumors start spreading, about the Wolfqueen, the Wild One, sitting upon a blood-red throne. About the Kingdom of monsters where beasts, fae and man live free. About the Queen with the Iron Heart, who turns away all who wish to court her, and kills all who dare more.
It’s not that I do not want someone at my side. I do. I wish for the love that my parents share. That my sisters eventually found with their husbands. But all those who come for my hand, those who finally dare when I have no more free sisters left, come for just that. My hand but not my heart. They are all poised and polished. Perfect little princes who look towards the wealth of the castle but away from the wildness within me. They are afraid to meet my wolf’s cold, assessing gaze.
Some even try to change me, to find the human underneath the wolf. They only try once.
For years, I rule alone. Through another war, through a plague born of magic, through prosperity and abundance. My people always by my side but no one to claim my heart.
But then, a commotion. A man, dressed in furs. No scars on his body, but plenty on his soul. His eyes glowing the same gold as mine in the gentle torchlight. A wildness in them that my wolf recognizes. A challenge that my wolf is eager to take, to rise up to.
“Your Oracle told me to come here.” He tells me, “I asked for guidance, to find what my heart truly desires, and she sent me to you.”
My fairy godmother steps up behind me, laying a hand on my shoulder. I can’t see her, but I know she is smiling a smile of sharp pointed teeth. No doubt the oracle he speaks of.
“My Queen,” he continues, bowing deep, his eyes never leaving mine, “I came looking for connection, for freedom. I believe I will find it with your time and your company. Will you grant me it?”
“And what, my prince,” for if my fairy godmother sent him, he can only be that, “will you grant me in return?” I lean forward, eager, hungry.
“Loyalty,” he steps forward, onto the dais, “companionship and understanding.” He leans over me for a single, challenging moment, before kneeling before me, baring his throat. “Perhaps in time even love. But for now, the thrill of a hunt. Of a chase.” He grins, baring sharp fangs. A breath, and a beautiful black-furred wolf sits in front of me.
Oh – the hunt is on. A thrill goes through me as I shift, ready to run, to chase him down and claim him for my own. For if one thing is certain, it is that I am a wild thing, a Queen, a hunter, but never, ever, prey.

The main problem with the whole mal vs the darkling thing in regards to being possessive (or really when it comes to any of their traits) is the fact that throughout, the darkling is clearly framed as the villain and his actions reflect that, whereas Mal as supposed to be the good guy and best romantic partner for Alina, and yet he has all these awful character traits and tendencies. So its less about how awful the Bad Guy is (since he's supposed to be), and more about how awful the person that we're supposed to believe is the best option for Alina is. I don't ship either, just my two cents.
Okay well... two things. First, your comment about "its less about how awful the bad guy is, since he's supposed to be", takes every comment I've made about Darkles out of context, which seems fitting since everything Darklina's spout about Mal is out of context. Him being the Bad Guy is fine, and if you like him AS A VILLAIN, and acknowledge all the bad shit he does, then my posts aren't for you. I think he's a very interesting villain, and a lot of the terrible shit he does that I have to keep making posts about make him a good villain, the problem is when the terrible shit the "Bad Guy" does is romanticized and viewed as the reasons why Alina SHOULD have picked him. So, don't assume everyone gets that "hes supposed to be awful". The point my post was making is that Darklina's love to call Mal possessive, but then turn around and act like Darkles literally enslaving her in somehow sexy and romantic. It's fucking not, and it's transparent as hell that y'all romanticize and sexualize the actually possessive character, and then project false character traits onto Mal. It's so transparent, it's almost funny.
But, more importantly, to your second, very wrong point, I wonder how much of the narrative about Mal having "awful character traits and tendencies" is actually a commentary on Mal as a character, or is it just Darklina's lying about things Mal has done and everyone accepting that misinterpretation as canon. Because, if were making a list...
Fuck boy - False! Mal was not a fuck boy! He was an attractive teenager who hooked up with consenting girls his age when he could, and he was not in a relationship during that time. Alina had never told him how she felt, so he is not beholden to her. (Also, nobody seems to have an issue with the fact that Darkles hooked up with Zoya in the show, that doesn't make HIM a fuckboy... interesting) (also also, nobody seems to discuss Darkles literally sexually assaulting Alina, and lying and manipulating her to get her to be physically intimate with him so he can use her... double interesting).
Slut Shames Alina - FALSE! The ever favourite callout line from Darklina's "He's all over you" isn't him slut shaming her. First, he has no idea what their relationship is like at that point, but more importantly, he is making an observation of her status in the little palace and how she has become his tool. He has dressed her up in his colors, made her put on a show for his benefit, and has created a situation where Alina appears to be his. Mal is noting that after months of searching for her, believing she was being hurt, tortured, or worse, when he arrives to save her, she looks like the Darkling's pet. (and, even if he WAS angry because he perceived them to be romantically involved, boy just spent months fighting for his life, lost multiple friends, and almost died to find her, all while coming to the realisation that he was in love with her, and then he shows up, after not hearing from her for months... I'd be pissed as hell too.) Important Note: He even acknowledges that what he said was wrong and tries to apologise, before Alina tells him that he was right. (Shadow and Bone, pg. 286). He also then apologizes, completely unprompted, for what he said. (Shadow and Bone, pg. 297).
Fat Shames Alina - False! This one is particularly laughable to me, because its one of the Darklina arguments that falls apart the second you actually read the scene. They are running for their lives in the forest, and Mal has to hunt and gather to feed them. He is noting that Alina's appetite has increased since he last saw her, and he makes a joke (ya know, how you do with friends) about how it would be easier to keep her fed if she still had her more meager appetite from before. He makes no comment on her weight, or her size, and he is not actually commenting on her appetite in a negative way, he is just acknowledging that it's a lot more work for him now that she eats more. Right before he says the line, the quote even proves that he isn't shaming her or thinking badly of her: "With a bemused expression, he watched as I gobbled down my portion and then sighed, still hungry". He is noting a change in her, and complaining that its made more work for him. If you think thats the same as fat shaming, well... thats a you problem.
Hates Alina's Powers - FALSE!!!! How to begin... do we talk about it was Mal's idea to hunt the stag in S&B, because he knew she needed it to be more powerful so she could stop the darkling? Do we talk about how he vowed to find the firebird for her, even though he was terrified of what all that power would do to her? Do we talk about how he literally died so she could achieve the power she needed to save the world? Or maybe we could talk about how he believed in her power more than anyone else, like when everyone was making bets about her abilities with the Cut and he knew she'd go further and better than anyone else expected her too, or when he tells her that he was never afraid of her powers, only what seeking all that power would do to her (which is literally the theme of the books, that power corrupts and seeking unmatched power can destroy you)? Mal being afraid of what is going to happen to Alina, being protective of her and worrying over her, is not the same as him hating her powers. He exists to help remind Alina of the themes of the story, and to guide her into maintaining her humanity.
Abusive - ... Do I even need to explain this one? Must I deign an explanation as to why this favourite Darklina lie is so fucking stupid, and also totally hypocrisy? No? Because we all know Darkles is actually the abusive one and they're trying to project their own shit onto Mal to further their abuse apologist agenda? Cool. Moving on.
Possessive of Alina - False! Throughout the entire series, Mal is quite literally the opposite of possessive, but yall just cant read. Not only does he quite literally step out of the way and allow Nikolai to court Alina without argument, which is the most direct example of him not being possessive, he also spends two full books believing, and repeatedly saying over and over and over, that they can't be together because he is not good enough for her. Mal believes, fully, that Alina deserves more than him, better than him, because he's just a tracker and a soldier, just a regular man with nothing to offer her but his love and his protection, and she is a Saint and should be a Queen. Possessiveness is the wish to own and control someone, it is literally the opposite of Mal believing that he's not good enough and doing everything he can to ensure that Alina achieves everything and gets everything he believes she is owed. A possessive character would not tell her to tell him to leave because he has nothing he can offer her, no title or land or country or crown. A possessive character would not promise to be the blade in her hand, because he believed he had nothing but the blood he could spill to offer her.
Angry - True! Yeah, omg, you caught us, Mal is ANGRY! Heaven forbid a teenager who is traumatized beyond belief and has to give up everything in his life, his position in the military (he deserted for her), his friends and the job he loved (Mikhail and Dubrov died for him, and he can't be a tracker in the army... because he deserted... for Alina), and, most importantly, he has to give up Alina (she should be Queen, he believes, and he has to give up the future he imagined with the girl he loves, who he was pretty sure loved him back, because she's a saint and queen and he's just a man), and more, is ANGRY. He has to be the one to find the amplifiers that he knows will end up hurting her, because thats what she needs to save the world. He has to sit by while Nikolai treats him like the dirt on his shoe and tries to woo Alina for his own personal gain (because Nikoalai did not love Alina. Maybe he came to care for her, but he proposed and spent all of S&S trying to get her to marry him when it was obvious they were not in love. He straight up says its so that the next King of Ravka can be married to the Sun Summoner. It's a power grab.) and he can't do anything about it. So yeah, Mal is angry. And yeah, sometimes he's even angry at Alina, just like sometimes she's angry at him. But they always find their way back, always apologize and try to be better for each other, and if you think anger is a toxic trait, and not simply a natural human emotion, might I suggest touching some fucking grass?
Idk why you thought I'd stand for Mal slander on my blog, cuz I will not. So, I'm gonna stop there, because I have shit to do today, but I really do wonder how much of Mal's 'toxic' or 'terrible' traits, that make him such a 'bad' love interest for Alina, really comes from Darklina's who refuse to actually read the text critically at all, and instead take everything he does and says out of context to further their agenda that Alina should have ended up as the Darkling's fucking slave forever, because thats the "girl power feminist" ending somehow. Mal supports her, loves her, sacrifices for her at every turn, and does everything he can do, to the point of literally dying for her, to ensure that she can defeat Darkles and save the world. He protects her, and when they end up happy and safe together on the orphange that they've rebuilt to help the children that were victims of Darkles war and genocide, he spends his days bringing her tea and cakes and flowers, kissing her silly under the stairs in the view of all the teachers, and calling her names like beauty, beloved, cherished, my heart for the rest of their ordinary life together, if love can ever be called that.

Stealth
Summary: After making you his wife, Steve wants to work on making you a mommy. He just couldn’t let you know that.
Pairings: Steve Rogers x Reader
Warnings: Smut, stealthing, sex in wedding dress, cream pie, dubious consent.
Tumblr media
Even though Steve liked to think that he’d adapted to the modern world just fine, there were still a few things that he saw he still found himself holding onto. Like his love for baseball. It was a big thing then and it definitely wasn’t as hyped up now. Or how badly he wanted a wife to come home to at the end of a hard day who’d be there with dinner ready and maybe ready to suck him off. He wanted a woman he could take care of and in return they’d have a few kids.
Back in the day, before the serum he never thought he’d get the chance. He was so bad at talking to women. Hell he was still a shy, nervous wreck. Even when he wanted Peggy he couldn’t even enjoy it because there were so many things going on. That was then and his is now and you were everything he’d ever wanted.
When he’d met you, he knew he’d met the love of his life. You were everything he needed. He honestly never thought he’d meet someone like you. Who’d want most of those things. There was only one problem.
You were on the fence (whatever that means) about having kids. You wanted to marry him of course. He was the first person to love you the way you needed. It’s not that popping a few kids out for him didn’t sound like a good idea, but you were terrified about being a mother. About having to actually take care of someone.
Steve knew this. He thought you’d make a wonderful mother. The idea of after a long day of dealing with Tony’s bullshit coming home to you with your stomach all swollen with his child sounded like the best thing ever. Even if you were only “on the fence.”
Growing up as an only child Bucky as the closest he could ever get to a brother. He was so sickly that he was in no position to being the big brother he wish he could have been. Now things were different. He could be the father he’d always dreamed of. It didn’t matter how you felt because sometimes he knew you better than you new yourself. He’d just have to guide you into seeing it.
When Steve woke up from the ice years ago they’d ran so many tests on him. Wanted to study him to see how far the serum affected him. He was obviously a lot stronger. There were some other things they wanted to work out. Like how could his body handle diseases which apparently he was immune to that. Then came his fertility.
Long story short birth control was pretty much useless against him. He needed to use a condom with every partner unless he wanted them to get pregnant. As much as you hated it you always made him wear one because of it. Why would you marry a man that could easily get you pregnant if that wasn’t what you really wanted.
God, you were so goddamn gorgeous walking towards him in that gown. You looked like an angel sent from heaven just to be his. His heart had felt like it was going to beat out of your chest as soon as he laid his eyes on you. With all the shit he’d gone through, he never thought he’d find you, but there you were. All dolled up to intertwine your life with his.
During the reception the two of you pretty much danced all night despite everyone trying to come up to you to interrupt. You were in your own little bubble of happiness with each other. Fuck you looked beautiful in that dress. It’d been hard for him to keep himself from taking you right there.
Now he was carrying you over the threshold of your new home. The plan was to not move in until the wedding night wanting to save that for the day you became husband and wife. He didn’t stop kissing you as he’d unlocked and then locked the door before taking you upstairs.
You knew what was going to happen and you wanted it more than ever. You’d been a little tipsy from all the champagne, but you were still so goddamn ready for him. “I want to fuck you in this dress first,” he’d pulled away from your lips to whisper in your ear. He laid you down in your marital bed scooting your hips to the edge.
“Baby!” You giggled, sitting up to wrap your arms around his neck. He kissed you again holding you close as he pushed your leg up by your thigh. He pulled you away to get down on his knees. He kissed along your legs and as bad as you wanted him to eat you out, you wanted him inside you more. “Please just make love to me.”
“I wanna eat my wife’s pussy,” he said, still prepping you with kisses. You shuddered at his words and how good he felt. He kissed you through your panties. You tossed your head back involuntarily moving your hips because your body needed more.
“Please. I want your dick.” You begged. “I need it.”
“Be patient, Wife.” He chuckled. “We have all night.”
“I know, but I need it now!” You whined. You were always so needy when it came to his dick. It took sometime for you to take him the way you do now because he was too much for your little pussy at first, but he’d quickly trained you take it. Fuck he remembers the first time you saw his dick. You looked up at him through your eyelashes with that sweet smile he loves so much, immediately reaching out to grab it like the greedy little slut you were for him. He knew he’d have to marry you one day.
He sighed, smiling up at you before standing up. “Alright, alright.” He kissed you again before pushing you back onto the bed again. “Such a needy wife,” he said, dipping his fingers in your pretty lingerie so he could rub your clit. “God, I love you.”
“I love you, too,” you breathed as the pleasure from him touching you creeped up your body. You always got so damn wet for him.
He looked down at your pretty pussy soaking those white panties. Fuck he shouldn’t have listened to you. Should have just put his tongue inside of you and let you cum on his face until you were begging for mercy. But, who was he to leave his bride needy for dick.
“Please,” you whimpered.
Steve unzipped his pants not even bothering to undress himself fully as he took his dick out, stroking his length as he looked down at you. If he didn’t stop himself he could cum like this. Just watching you all needy for him. Fuck he was a lucky man.
He got ready to line himself up with your entrance wanting to fuck you even with those pretty panties on. He loved seeing his dick go in and out of you with the lace softly brushing against him. “Condom,” you reminded him.
“Fuck,” he softly said pulling away. “Hold on,” he replied before going to the nightstand to get one from the drawer. He really couldn’t see himself doing this for the rest of his life.
That was the problem right there. He could never get lost in a moment of passion with you if you weren’t willing to take him in the way he wanted you to. It’s okay for now, though. Soon he’ll fuck you properly.
He sheathed himself in the rubber before picking your hips up so he could enter you. You’d been pent up ever since you heard him say I do. It was like as soon as the words left his lips you were ready to gush.
He rubbed your clit again as he thrusted into you. His movements were strong and deliberate like he was trying to make sure you felt it nice and hard. Like he was savoring the moment. “Yes,” you mewled. Sparks were shooting through your body. It felt so goddamn good feeling him like this.
Your throaty, breathy moans got louder as he picked up the pace. Your juices were coating his condom covered dick and fuck he wished he could feel you raw. “God, I can’t believe you’re my wife,” he hissed.
---
Part of the reason you’d ended up picking this house was because of the bathrooms. The two of you could actually fit in the tub together. Big enough for you two to cuddle and still be submerged in the warmth of the bubbly water. You were kind of a sucker for romantic shit like that and he loved indulging you. Besides you deserved it.
“I’m so exhausted,” you mumbled with a yawn into his chest. To be honest you never thought you’d get to this point. Being there with your husband in your new home on your wedding night. Especially with Steve of all people. You remember when he asked you to marry him and you kept asking if he was sure. Like he’d change his mind at any minute.
It broke his heart the way you thought he could ever not want you. Even with your fence and children shit he still wanted you more than anything. Besides that can easily be corrected.
“Me, too, but it was fun.” He rubbed your back a small smile on his face as he enjoyed the love bubble the two of you were in.
“Mhm,” you hummed, kissing his chest. “It was amazing. Thank you, Baby.”
“Thank me? You planned it. I just paid.”
You chuckled, looking up at him before kissing his jaw. “Well, then thank you for that.” You kissed the corner of his mouth and he ended up being the one to connect your lips.
He held you by your hips as the two of you made out. You moved your hips as you came to straddle him. Fuck your core was so close to his dick.
He ended up sliding you over it, making the both of you moan as your flesh made contact. He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t done that sooner. Fuck it felt so good.
You didn’t stop him either. Letting him glide you up and down his length. You shivered against him as he bumped your clit, letting out another breathy moan. He could easily enter you. Could leave you at his mercy as he fucked into you without protection for the first time.
God, it was so tempting.
“We should go back to bed,” you said, pulling away from him not stopping the movement of your hips.
Your eyes raked up and down the naked body of your new husband as he towel dried. You wrapped your arms around him, standing on your tippy toes so you could kiss the back of his strong shoulder.
He hissed enjoying the feeling of your lips against him. You giggled, sinking your teeth into his flesh to nip him. He fucking loved when you did that. “You little troublemaker.” He smirked, making eye contact with you through the mirror.
You giggled again before smacking his butt then turned on your heels to run away. You were still naked as you ran out the room, knowing he was going to get you back for that.
It took him no time to grab you, lifting you up in the air as he walked over to the bed to drop you. “Babe!” You squealed.
He chuckled, getting on top of you to brush his lips against yours. He forced your legs apart bringing his dick up to rub against your clit. Fuck why hadn’t you guys done this before.
“Stevie,” you gasped. “Fuck.”
He slide his dick between your pussy lips so close to your aching core. The way your sticky wetness looked on his dick was enough to drive him insane. “That’s it, Baby.” He moaned, his head was spinning.
“Condom,” you said.
“Why?” He asked. “When I could slip it inside of you with no problem. I could fuck you so good.”
You moaned. It’s not that you didn’t want it, but you had to control yourself a little. “Please, Babe.”
“You don’t wanna have my baby?” He asked, not stopping.
“It’s not that. I just-” you cut yourself off when he stroked himself against your clit again making you open your mouth wide and tilt your head back.
“You’re really going to deny me, your brand new husband from fucking your sweet little pussy raw? That doesn’t sound right to me, Baby.”
Your stomach tightened. Fuck you were gonna cum. “Please, Baby.” You sounded so goddamn pathetic. He wasn’t even inside you and he was making you react like this.
“Fine,” he said, leaning down to kiss your forehead. As much as it pained him to stop his movement he did, reaching over to grab the box of condom that were in the drawer. Fuck he should have bought more because this was going to be a long night.
Your body calmed down a little as he took his sweet ass time to put the condom on. Fuck you needed him. Badly. Even more than the first time.
He rolled the latex over his length before positioning himself over you again this time on his knees. He grabbed your thighs pulling you forward as he eased your cunt onto him. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he began to move his hips.
He held your thigh forcing you onto him. All he could think about how he wanted to fuck a baby into you. You were so close in this angle ready to cum, but as Steve started to get more and more into his head he pulled out to flip you over.
He slammed into you his balls slapping into your clit. You gasped tightening around him. “Yes.” You gasped. He was moving into you fast and hard just the way you liked it.
Your pussy gripped around him like it was trying to push him out, but his thickness kept him inside. “I love you,” you cried into the pillow, backing up against him.
“I love you, too,” he growled pulling you onto him so roughly. Fuck he needed to feel you.
You were so lost in him that you didn’t even feel the difference when the condom had broken, sitting on the base of his dick. He pushed into you again both of you grunting at the feel of his bare dick finally inside of you. Fuck it shouldn’t have taken him two years to do this.
“You feel so good,” you cried backing into him. “Fuck. Please don’t stop. Don’t ever stop.”
“I won’t, Baby. This is my pussy.”
“Yes, yes, yes, yes!” Your eyes were starting to water. It just felt so good you couldn’t help it. “Is this a new condom. You should buy these more it feels so good.”
“I will.” He reached forward grabbing your hair. Your back arched as he rammed into you forcing you to take it. It was all you wanted. Fuck.
“I’m gonna fuck I’m gonna-” you stopped yourself as you whole body tensed and then let go for the most intense orgasm you’d probably ever had in your life.
Steve’s jaw clenched as he shoved you back onto him as deep as he could go as his own orgasm caught up to him. He didn’t stop moving his animalistic instincts taking over as he moved you forward and then back again in shallow thrusts.
All you could do was lay there and take it.
He slumped over you, breathing heavy. You were pretty sure you were seeing stars. His dick was still inside of you as he moved his hips like was still trying to push it into you.
Finally he fell by your side. Breathing still heavy. He pulled you close kissing the top of your head. You clung to him needing him as close as possibly. God, you looked so beautiful. All teary eyed with your lips swollen and your chest heaving.
“Thank you for marrying me,” you whispered to him, voice all hoarse from all the moaning.
“Sweetheart, I waited a hundred years for you. I should be thanking you.”
You smiled, rubbing your already teary eyes. “Don’t say shit like that. You’ll make me cry.”
“I’m only saying it because it’s true. You make me so happy.”
“You make me happy, too.” You sniffled.
---
You didn’t know it, but your honeymoon went pretty much the same way. Anytime the two of you fucked he’d break the condom until there was no barrier between your wet cunt and his dick so he could fuck you properly. Fuck your cunt looked so good with his cum seeping out of it and you hadn’t even noticed.
Steve doesn’t think he could ever go back.
Your trip to France had lasted two weeks and now you were back having to return to a somewhat normal life. It’d been a little over a  month since your wedding night. Your breasts were starting to get all swollen. Your back was hurting. You felt constantly tired.
Your husband had left for business leaving you to figure it all out on your own. Honestly you were kind of in denial. Well, you were at first. Then your morning sickness started.
You felt so anxious as you waited for the timer to go off.
You couldn’t stop yourself as you paced back and forth in the living room. You were a nervous wreck on the inside. Of course if it was positive you’d try your hardest to be the best mother ever, but fuck you were nervous.
The front door opened and your husband came through the door making you stop in your tracks. “Honey, you’re home...” you trailed off.
“Yeah, we finished early.” He grinned, then faltered. “You don’t look very happy to see me.”
“No I... I am I just...” you swallowed feeling that damn sickness pushing up again. Before you could say anything else to him you ran to the bathroom.
He quickly followed after you. As you kneeled in front of the toilet puking your guts out. “Jesus, Baby,” he got down beside you, rubbing your back. He put his hand on your forehead. “You don’t have a fever.”
Tears were streaming down your face as you buried your head in his neck. You stood up bringing you with him. You wanted to tell him, but you were pretty sure if you opened your mouth again you’d puke.
“Wait, is that a pregnancy test?” He asked, his heart swelling at just the sight. You nodded still buried into him. You couldn’t even try to make yourself say anything out loud.
The timer from your phone could be heard from the living room which made you quickly pull away.
---
As you looked down at your sleeping one year old baby boy, Steve kissed the side of your head. You’d never felt this kind of bliss before. “He’s so perfect,” you whispered softly, looking up at your husband with tired eyes.
“I know. We did good,” he replied. “Let’s go to bed, Sweetheart.” As the two of you finally made it to your room, you yawning as Steve got under the covers beside you.
“So, I was thinking,” you started, resting your chin on his chest so could look at him.
He rubbed your back a lazy smile on his face. “What is it?”
“I know I’ve been strict on the whole condom thing, but clearly your super sperm doesn’t give a shit so I guess I’m fine if we maybe stop using them. Just let whatever happens happen.”
His jaw dropped, his heart suddenly thumping in his chest. His dick immediately getting hard. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah I mean I actually kind of like this whole mom thing.” You shrugged. “Besides, Baby Grant is gonna need siblings. I just have to accept that I am probably going to spend most of my life pregnant now.”
He chuckled a smile spreading on his face. “Not going to lie this may be the hottest thing I’ve ever heard you say.”
“God, you’re such a pervert.” You grinned, leaning up to kiss him. He deepened it pushing you on your back.
Suddenly his only goal for the night was putting baby number two in you.

Should we first talk about why no other Volstrucker has ever left?
First of all, a big part of Trent’s process is making sure that they have nowhere else to go. First, he isolates them from their peers at the Academy. (Caleb says that Trent was originally one of many teachers he had the Academy, and then Trent became his primary teacher. Bren had no friends aside from his fellow Volstrucker trainees.) He takes over their schedules so they’re spending all of their time with him and others who are under his thumb, and he tells them that it’s because they are special and better than their peers anyway. They’re fifteen at this time, so they believe him. Then, he makes them kill their family. It’s kind of brilliant, in a sadistic way. He subjects them to slowly escalating abuse for years, and then he hands them a match and tells them to burn their only bridge away from him.
Let’s assume that Astrid really does have an uncle, and wasn’t just playing along. Of course she hasn’t spoken to him in years. What could she possibly say to him after murdering his sister? Making them kill their immediate families is also a pretty good way of blowing up their relationships with their extended families.
It’s not like Trent stops controlling them when they reach adulthood, either. They live in houses on his estate and report to him daily for orders. Trent chooses them when they’re 14 years old, destroys everything else they have, and keeps them right under his thumb for the rest of their lives.
Then he calls them family He takes their original families from them, but he offers his own twisted mockery of a family in return. And they take it, because it hurts less than empty space where their parents used to be. Caleb called the Volstrucker locked up in Rosohna his sister without ever having met her. Trent invited Caleb over for a family dinner. What happened to their parents was an unfortunate necessity, but they don’t have to feel alone; the Volstruckers are their family now; Trent is their family now.
The second reason they don’t leave him or tell anyone is that Trent specifically chooses students who are unlikely to do that. Trent chooses his students partly for the fun of it, to see what he can sculpt out of their unique natural talents, but he’d be a fool not to consider their temperaments as well. It’s easy to imagine Bren, Eadwulf, and Astrid as teachers pets who were eager for Trent’s approval as teenagers. Even now that they’re adults, Trent is very intentional with when and how he praises them, and praise is his go-to way of love-bombing Caleb at the dinner.
Trent has access to all the students at the Soltryce Academy. This is already the pick of the litter in terms of the Empire’s magic-wielding teenagers. Anyone he chooses is going to be gifted. He has the luxury of looking at other factors, like how eager they are to please him, how susceptible they are to pro-Empire propaganda, and whether or not their families will be missed. (Is it really a coincidence that Bren, Astrid, and Eadwulf were all from the same rural town that is firmly under the capital’s thumb? Probably not.)
So, after he picks out kids are that going to respond well to his brainwashing, he brainwashes them. That’s the third reason none of them have ever left before.
He tells them they’re family. Not by blood, but by shared goals and shared suffering. I can’t prove that Trent ever actually said that, but it fits perfectly with the way the Blumendrei talk about each other and with Trent’s view of the world. The pain they endure together bonds them (and they’ve got matching tattoos to prove it).
Their pain protects the innocent of the Empire. They do their bloody work so others don’t have to. They endure this pain so others don’t have to. Someone has to hurt, because that’s how the world is, and if it’s not the Volstruckers, it will be the innocent children of the Empire.
Sometimes, sacrifices have to be made. Your innocence. Their lives. Someday, maybe your life. These sacrifices are what keep little Empire children safe and warm in their beds at night. It’s for the good of the Empire. It’s what any good Empire citizen would do. You should feel honored to have been given this opportunity.
Trent inflicts pain in on them because pain makes them stronger. Because they are smarter and stronger than their peers and they can save the Empire, if they just let him teach them. Trent hurts them because he sees the potential in them and wants to bring it out. Trent hurts them for the greater good. Trent hurts them out of love.
That’s what he tells them. That’s what he told them at dinner.
They’re spoon-fed a million excuses for their own abuse, and they have little choice but to swallow those excuses, because (reason #4) Trent made them complicit in their own abuse, and each other’s abuse, and the murders of their families. The alternative to accepting Trent’s apologism put Bren in an insane asylum. “All of that pain and suffering and death was absolutely unnecessary and you not only subjected yourself to it for no reason, you helped for no reason,” is not an easy thing to process.
Liam has done a really good job of showing how Caleb struggles with that and how it led to so much self-hatred. And Caleb had a loving support network. Most Volstruckers have one or two equally broken people from their class that they can mostly trust, if they are lucky. Most Volstruckers are only given one framework to process these feelings through, and it’s the abusive framework laid out in #3.
We can’t go without mentioning that shared guilt is one of the oldest tricks in the book to get a victim to keep quiet. It’s the classic ‘You’ll be in trouble too.’ “Do you really want to go the king and confess to the murder of innocent Empire citizens? Your own family, no less?” It wasn’t like Trent put the poison in the food or threw the fireball.
Reason #5: Lots of people already know and simply do not care. While Astrid’s comments in e131 do imply that the king doesn’t know what Trent has been doing to the children of his kingdom, the Cerberus Assembly knows and has known for a while. Every time Caleb has brought up his abuse with a member of the Cerberus Assembly, he’s gotten empty sympathy and dismissal. He hasn’t even had to explain the abuse to them. Multiple people have heard that he was a student of Trent Ikithon’s and immediately responded with sympathy... but also in ways that made it clear that they didn’t plan to do anything about it. The Cerberus Assembly knows. Ludinus would be very bad at his job if he did not know, considering that Trent recruits from the Academy. The Volstruckers are used to Trent doing what he does out in the open, in front of other high-level officials.
It’s not like Trent is hiding his abuse of them, either. Trent takes kids home for the summer and they show up for Intermediate Transmutation the next fall with fucking experimental crystals in their arms. Ludinus knew. Even Vess knew. The Volstruckers know that Ludinus and Vess know. At best, they likely believe that there is no point in talking. At worst, it reinforces everything Trent is telling them and makes them believe that they are the problem if they can’t tough it out.
Last but not least: mortal terror is the sixth reason why no one has ever gotten away from Trent before. Trent broke Bren’s brain and then made him disappear for a decade. Trent made all of their families disappear. Do you think Astrid got investigated for murder after some poor neighbor found her family’s bodies? No. Trent made that disappear. How easily could Trent make one Volstrucker disappear? Volstruckers die all the time, after all. There wouldn’t be many questions asked about a Volstrucker’s death. There might not be any questions asked at all. Who would notice a Volstrucker was missing, except for other Volstruckers (who are loyal to Trent. And terrified of Trent. And may have helped with the murder.)
So that’s why Caleb is the first to ever leave. (1) Most Volstruckers have nowhere else to go. (2) Trent gets to hand-pick students to abuse, so obviously he’s going to pick ones that are likely to respond well (by his standards) to his abuse. (3) Volstruckers are brainwashed into accepting Trent’s abuse apologism. (4) Volstruckers are made to feel morally culpable for their own abuse and are not given space to process these feels outside of the brainwashing framework Trent provides them with in #3. (5) People with power don’t care; people who care lack power; people with both are out of reach. This is a pattern embedded in their psyches well before they kill their parents. (6) Trent could literally straight up kill them have a couple of teenagers dig a shallow grave in the woods. No one would ever ask questions.

Resurrect Me: Part 2 (N.R.)
Part One
Huge shoutout to @confusinggemini612 who requested this a loooong time ago and I’m just now getting to it (I am so sorry for the wait). I hope this is what you had in mind :)
Warnings: swearing; PTSD; mentions of suicide/self-sacrifice

EIGHT MONTHS LATER
The cool breeze blows through my hair, the hand in mine being the only source of warmth in the chill of the Russian countryside. As we walk closer, a chorus of pigs snorting fills my ears. Natasha had given me a brief rundown and a quick pep talk before taking me to meet her family. Now, it was game time.
“Are you ready?”
“Not in the slightest,” I respond to the redhead.
“Let’s do it then,” she says with a smirk, to which I reply with a scoff.
We walk through the gate and enter the small house, immediately hearing three distinct voices, each laced with a thick Russian accent. The voices hush as the door closes behind us, and a blonde woman is the first to greet us.
“Ah, сестра! Mom and Dad are flirting again, let’s make a run for it, Yelena whisper-yells.
“So put a sedative in their vodka or something, I don’t know,” Natasha replies. I’m not sure if I should introduce myself or not, so I just stand there awkwardly.
“They are both spies, they’re not going to fall for- actually, Alexei would, but Mom would never fall for that,” Yelena pauses as she notices me. She looks me from head to toe and squints before her lips quirk into a smirk. “And who might this be? Is this your little girlfriend?”
“Yelena, don’t be an ass,” Nat grumbles with a scowl.
“Hi, I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you.”
Yelena hums before turning back to Natasha. “She’s definitely your girlfriend.”
“Oh shut up,” Natasha whines, walking further into the house. I look at Yelena and nod in confirmation before following Nat. I hear her whisper “I knew it” from behind me, causing me to laugh. Natasha turns to give me a questioning look, but I just brush it off with a shrug and a smirk. She narrows her eyes and opens her mouth to say something, but is cut off by a deep, booming voice.
“Natasha! Welcome home! Look at this, all my girls back together again! It is so nice to see you,” Alexei says, moving forward to pinch Natasha’s cheeks. She gently pushes him away with a scowl, and I can’t tell if she’s really uncomfortable or not. Either way, it brings my guard up, ready to defend her.
“And who might this be?” Alexei questions, turning to face me.
“Dad, this is Y/N,” she says before I can answer. I offer a kind smile.
Yelena, who had made her way to the kitchen table with a bottle of vodka, says “She’s Natasha’s girlfriend.”
“Thank you for the input, Yelena,” Natasha says with a tight-lipped smile.
“Girlfriend, huh? When did that happen? Natasha, I was not aware that you, uh, how do you say? Swing that way?” A dark-haired woman slaps his arm for his comment and he exclaims, “Ow!”
“Pay him no mind, Natasha. He is a bit slow, but Mama always knew. You were not very discreet about the way you looked at that Hannah girl in Ohio. And as for you, it is nice to meet you. I’m Melina, what is your name?” Her demeanor is friendly, but her gaze is skeptical. She’s probably already planning how to kill me if she decides that I’m not good enough for her daughter.
“I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you, too,” I say with a nervous smile.
“Alright, guys, that’s enough. Please stop harassing my girlfriend,” Natasha says with a sigh.
“Come, sit,” Yelena commands with a wave, still sitting at the kitchen table.
I sit across from her and Natasha sits next to me. Melina and Alexei follow soon after, with Alexei sitting at the head of the table and Melina sitting next to Yelena.
“Here you go,” Yelena says as she slides me a shot glass full of vodka. I clink it against hers in the air and down it in one go, grimacing at the burn. “Are you alright?” Yelena asks with a smirk, clearly enjoying my agony.
“Oh, yeah, I’m great. Just not used to Russian vodka, that’s all.” Yelena nods, satisfied with my answer, before going to pour me another shot.
Natasha stops her by saying, “Yelena, no more vodka. You’re going to kill her.”
“You’re no fun,” the younger sister says, but complies, nonetheless.
“Natasha, you are slouching again. Sit up straight,” Melina interjects.
“Mom, I’m not slouching. I told you I don’t slouch,” Nat protests.
“So how did you two meet?” Yelena asks, interrupting the banter.
“Oh, we met in New York during the invasion, when the Avengers were formed,” I answer.
“You are an Avenger! I knew you looked familiar. Tell me, does Captain America ever mention me, the great Red Guardian? I could kick his ass, you know. I’ve done it before,” Alexei says, causing the three Russian women to groan and complain.
“That never happened, Dad,” Yelena mumbles at the same time Natasha says, “He doesn’t talk about you because you guys have never met.”
I raise my eyebrows at them. They seem awfully familiar with this conversation; how often does Alexei say this crap?
“So, Y/N. What happened when you guys brought everyone back? How did you do it? Natasha won't tell me,” Yelena questions. I chuckle nervously, glancing at Natasha, who is clearly uncomfortable with this topic of discussion.
“Um, I don’t know if I should… It’s complicated, really,” I say, trailing off.
“Yelena, stop. It doesn’t matter. And don’t put her in the middle of things,” Natasha responds, defending me. An awkward silence fills the room until Alexei speaks up again.
“He really hasn’t mentioned me? Have you even asked him about me?”
<//>
“Why won’t you tell them what happened?” I ask quietly. It’s nighttime now, and I’m lying in bed next to Nat in the guest room. She seemed so uncomfortable, and it’s been worrying me since.
“They just don’t need to know,” she replies shortly
“But they got snapped away, Natty. Don’t you think they deserve more of an explanation than what they’ve seen on the news?”
“Don’t tell me what to do with my family, Y/N.” Her sharp tone feels like a blade to the heart, but I take a deep breath and soften my resolve, knowing that she’s only snapping at me because something else is upsetting her.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to push. I just, I can tell that something is upsetting you. You can’t just bottle stuff up, Nat. It doesn’t have to be me if you’re not comfortable, but you need to talk to someone about it.”
She doesn’t respond immediately. “I’ve told them. I gave them the basics: Thanos snapped people away, we time traveled, got magical stones, snapped people back, and then killed Thanos. That satisfied my parents, but Yelena wants to know the whole story.”
“And you’re not comfortable retelling it?”
“Parts of it are bearable, but… I can’t think about it. You almost killed yourself for me, Y/N. You did die for me. I can’t think about that day, let alone tell my baby sister about it,” she says. Her voice is quiet, breaking as the tears flood her eyes. I pull her head into my chest and run my fingers through her hair.
“I’m right here, Natty. I’m not going anywhere, I promise. You don’t have to tell anyone about what happened. I was terrified of losing you on Vormir. I hate talking about it, too.”
“Is that why you went to Dr. Garcia?”
“Partly. There were other reasons, too.” I hesitated before continuing. “I kept hearing the tortured screams. When I slept, in my head, everywhere I went. I heard them all the time. And I would get random whiffs of burning flesh. As you know, I went to the Underworld when I ‘died’ and I guess it just affected me more than I had originally thought.”
“Angel, why didn’t you tell me? I could’ve helped.”
“I didn’t want to worry you, or freak you out. The whole thing was pretty weird. For a while, I honestly thought I was haunted. It was probably pretty selfish, but I didn’t wanna scare you away.”
“You could never scare me away. But just to be clear, you aren’t haunted, right?”
I laugh quietly. “No, I am not haunted. A mild case of PTSD, but I’m doing better now. The therapy helped a lot.”
“Do you think it would help me? I still get nightmares sometimes...of you going over that cliff. I just, I close my eyes and you’re gone, and I hate it.”
“I’m so sorry, my love. I hate how much pain I’ve caused you. But I do think it would help. We can find someone when we get back home, yeah?”
“Yeah. I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you, Natty.”
<//>
“Just do it! It will be fun! I will go easy, I swear,” Yelena begs.
“Okay, fi-”
“No! No way in Hell. You are not sparring with her,” Natasha argues.
“I’ll be fine. Worst case scenario, she kicks my ass,” I say.
“Actually, I’m pretty sure the worst case scenario would be if I accidentally killed you,” Yelena says flatly. “But that won’t happen! Please, Natasha. I want to see what she’s got,” she pleads with a pout.
Natasha sighs and rolls her eyes, muttering something under her breath about us being a bunch of children. “Fine, but if you so much as scratch her-”
“Y/N will be fine. Come on,” Yelena says, grabbing my hand and dragging me into the backyard.
Thirty minutes later, I’m flat on my back in the grass, wheezing. I groan as I attempt to sit up, the whole world spinning as I do.
“Yelena! What the hell did I say?! You literally threw her,” Natasha yells.
“No, no. I’m good,” I say weakly.
“Well, I wasn’t expecting her to be so...defenseless.”
“I am not defenseless,” I counter.
“You cannot even throw a punch,” the blonde deadpans.
“That doesn’t make her defenseless,” Nat says as she helps me to my feet. “She could take every single one of you out right now without even moving.”
From a few feet away, Melina quirks an eyebrow and Alexei mumbles “she could not take me out.”
“You are delusional, Natasha. How are we supposed to trust this woman to protect you when she cannot even protect herself?”
“She can protect both of us just fine, Yelena. Not that I need anyone’s protection.”
“Your sister has a point,” Melina tells Nat. “Sorry, Y/N,” she adds. I open my mouth to speak, but don’t even know what to say. This is my worst nightmare.
“You must be able to punch when you are in trouble! Much like I did to Captain America back in the day,” Alexei adds.
“Alright, enough. I’ll have you know that Y/N is one of the most powerful Avengers. Actually, she’s a literal goddess,” Natasha snaps.
“Well, of course you would think so. You are her girlfriend,” Melina says.
“Guys, I’m being serious!”
“Do not get snappy with us. We are just looking out for you,” Alexei says.
“I don’t need-”
“Somebody has to be there to keep you safe, and this girl could not bring harm to a plant,” Melina remarks.
“I’m literally standing right here,” I mumble under my breath.
“She literally saved my life! How is that not keeping me safe?!” My eyes widen; what happened to not revealing that tidbit of information?
“What do you mean? You saved her life?” Yelena asks as she turns to address me.
“If it wasn’t for her, I would be dead right now. And you guys never would’ve come back,” Natasha retorts, clenching her jaw.
“What? Why? What happened,” Yelena rambles. I can see the worry etched on her face, and it makes her look oddly childlike. It almost makes me want to pull her into a hug, but I’m fairly certain she’d throat punch me if I tried.
“On a planet called Vormir. A life needed to be sacrificed to get one of the Infinity Stones. It was me, Clint, or Y/N. I tried, but Y/N stopped me. That’s what I mean.” Natasha is seething. She clearly didn’t appreciate her family’s doubts.
“You tried to kill yourself?” Yelena addresses Natasha, but no one has the chance to answer her before Melina speaks up.
“If you sacrificed yourself, then how are you here?”
“It’s complicated,” I say with hesitance. “I am technically a goddess. I have many different powers, but most of them deal with death. When I died, I went to the Underworld, where I met my mother, Hecate, who is a goddess. Then, I came back. Resurrection is one of my powers. I know it’s a lot to take in, but that’s the truth.”
It’s silent for a minute as everyone processes my words. Everyone is staring at me with bewilderment, except for Yelena, who hasn’t taken her eyes off of her sister. Her eyebrows are furrowed, and a deep frown rests upon her lips.
“You tried to kill yourself?” Yelena repeats, this time only a whisper. Natasha finally turns to look at her younger sister and her mouth bobs open and closed, seemingly unsure of what to say.
“I didn’t have a choice, Yelena,” Natasha finally says.
“You saved her?” the blonde asks me.
I hesitantly nod my head. “Yes, I guess I did.”
“Thank you,” she whispers, giving a curt nod before turning and walking mechanically back into the house. I awkwardly clear my throat and turn my gaze to the ground.
“Will you show us?” I raise my head to look at Alexei, confusion crossing my features at his request. “Will you show us your powers, I mean.”
“Dad…” Natasha warns.
“No, it’s okay. I can show you a little bit,” I say, right before teleporting away. I watch from a hill in the distance as Alexei looks frantically around him. I can hear him asking where I went, which makes me laugh.
I teleport into the house and walk around, looking for Yelena. I walk into a bedroom and find her sitting on the floor with a bottle of vodka. “Hey, are you okay? We didn’t mean to upset you.”
“I’m fine. Because learning that your sister almost died and there was nothing you could’ve done to prevent it is so much fun,” she scoffs.
“I’m sorry. We probably could’ve broken the news a bit softer.” I sit on the ground next to her, leaving about a foot of space between us.
“It’s not your fault,” she murmurs. “I’m sorry for doubting you.”
“Don’t be. I am a horrible fighter,” I joke. She chuckles slightly, nodding in agreement.
“That you are. Can I see some of your magic, or whatever it is?” I hold out my hand and black mist dances above it with eerie elegance. I close my fist as it fades away, lowering my hand.
“Cool,” she says with a crooked smile. We hear the front door open and three sets of footsteps entering the house. I hear Nat calling my name.
“You okay?” I check one last time.
“I’m good. Thank you, Y/N, for saving my sister.”
“I’d do anything for her, Yelena. You don’t have to thank me for it.”
The bedroom door opens and Natasha’s head pokes in. “Y/N, we thought you’d completely left for a minute. Everything okay in here?”
Yelena and I look at each other and I look back to Natasha, overwhelmed with love for the redead. I smile and say, “Yeah, everything is just fine.”
