what baffles me about Elon musk is for a man with a massive throbbing ego, he still passes up the chance to be the savior of humanity and end world hunger with like, 3% of his money. Can you IMAGINE the bragging this guy could do?? But nah. He said lemme buy twitter instead.

Okay Witcher fandom, I'm gonna need people to understand something. In the games, most times when Yennefer lashes out at Geralt because of his amnesia and the relationship with Trish, it is entirely in line with her character.
Yes it is unfair on Geralt. Yennefer went through a very similar thing, Letho tells us she was even trying to seduce another man as well, before she remembered enough for Ciri to become a priority.
So why does she blame Geralt for the same thing? Is she stupid? Well, no.
One of Yennefer's greatest insecurities is that people she loves don't love her back. She is angry and hurt, at Trish too yes, but also at Geralt, because this seemed like yet another sign that Geralt would prefer not be with her. In the books, which the games are a fanficcy sequel to, Geralt runs out on Yennefer in the beginning of their relationship when she becomes too possessive for him. They then enter an on and off relationship that eventually gets put on the backseat for Ciri's sake, and when they finally het to be together again they're mortally wounded by an angry mob, taken to a magic island and eventually kidnapped and separated by the Wild Hunt.
I think it makes perfect sense for Yennefer to be insecure about her relationship with Geralt, and then lash out because that makes her disappointed. She wants their relationship to work, she already loves Geralt. The problem, as the games depict it, is she's not sure if Geralt loves her as much. It's like she just can't seem to win.
Now, people are free to dislike that about her and choose their romance differently, in the RPG setting. They are even free to think they would be better off not together.
Personally though, I think it's in line with Geralt's character to then choose Yennefer anyway, because Geralt tends to not choose the easy way. That's like, the charm of Geralt and Yen to me. They're both fucked up as hell, and their relationship is so tumultuous, but for all that Yennefer is insecure Geralt has an unending well of acceptance and willingness to try again with her. To keep showing her he loves her. Them both loving Ciri is the thing that makes both of them get over their respective issues. It's the thing that makes them work, because maybe as individuals they're riddled with problems, but for each other they want to overcome them. Them loving someone else together makes them want to love each other more.

My ALNST brainrot is so bad rn... I thought my arc when round 5 came out was bad... and then All-in... BUT NO- this is by far the worst. It has grabbed me and put me in a chokehold, and I am not escaping. (I promise I will go back to doing Minecraft blorbo stuff when my brain decides to be NORMAL...)

thinking about the nights in Persona 3...
when you don't go to Tartarus, or fight bosses.
you are awake in the liminal space outside and between normal days. all the places you know are There, but dark and empty. the moon is huge and Wrong. water looks like blood. you call this the dark hour but you think it lasts longer by far than sixty minutes. you cannot actually tell, though. there is no way to measure that.
everyone in your city is cased in a coffin for the hour, sleeping. except you and a few dorm-mates, and your dog. when you look out the window you can see that there is a massive and impossible tower where your school building should be. it is not out of the question that monsters might emerge from it.
but you aren't doing anything about that tonight.
you study, or listen to music, or just sit. maybe go down to the dorm lounge. maybe someone else will be staying up, too.
perhaps you try to sleep.
it always ends, eventually. the clocks read 00:01 and ordinary night resumes.
at least. it has always ended, so far.
