skelita! i love that shes trying out witchcraft, and the art-based magic is a fun angle too! i can totally see where this is going tho. drac is super serious about magic because theres all this pressure on her while skelita is just trying it out in a casual way so theyre at odds. its an interesting dilemma because i can def see both sides.

im really happy the writing seems like empathetic to both positions here. skelita deserves to try magic her way on her own terms, but its also totally understandable draculaura would feel protective over witchcraft when any misuse of it is ultimately going to reflect on her since she was the one working to legitimize it. respectability is a double edged sword fr!

the name reveal was SO stressful to write just bc I wanted to make sure it came across exactly how I wanted it to. but I'm very happy with how it turned out :) it's such a high-strung emotional scene and I had to balance so much with the dialogue but it was worth it in the end

yup! as soon as wilbur finally accepts that he doesn't want to be the pythia, he has to get thrown back into it. in a way it's only fitting. he wanted to go back for so long, but he can only go back once he's hit a new kind of self-actualization. now he might be going back into a very bad situation for him, but he's progressed so much he's better equipped to deal with it than he would've been had he gone back earlier. at least that's what you gotta hope.

And the grand finale, when he knows you will be arriving home soon he'll begin to run your bath

He lights a few candles, turns off the lights and sets up a nice little bath table for you with your food on it, and if you'd like, he can set up a speaker with your favorite music or a movie on the table as well

As you get home, he helps you set down your things and tells you that he has a suprise for you and to close your eyes

He leads you to the bathroom, where he lets you open your eyes to the scene around you

A nice warm bath, good food, and your coziest pajamas laid out for you to wear when you get out

He will ask you if you want him to stay or leave, and will respect either choice you make

If you ask him to leave, he will begin setting up his bed with comfy pillows and blankets, as well as some nice drinks for you two to indulge in

If you ask him to stay, he will sit by you on the floor, either listening to you as you rant about the bad day you had

Ir alternatively, he will be your shoulder to cry on if you just need to let it out

Or maybe you just want silence, and that is ok too, he will press gentle kisses to your damp shoulder and massage your back

Goodness gracious L ur are so . . . Einstein level genius for that gojo piece i- this aspect of him not,, letting himself love and be loved.. of being the strongest so he can’t have a weakness,, I feel its very overlooked in a lot of writing for him. his idea of love being a curse and something wicked and twisted and too delicate for him to handle. I think it’s what makes his char so heartbreaking. So when he says he’s trying, and that you shouldn’t settle, and that he’s out of time.. he means it. Those are truths to him in the same way the earth orbits the sun. 

Gosh there’s a million and one things I can say about ur god-tier portrayal of him but I’m afraid I don’t have the right words.

He’s such a complex character and his distance/attachment to people + things is soooo important to accurately portraying him imo.
