That ADHD type that feels like the scum from society if not multitasking like 6 activities at the same time (usually none of them being the one u actually need to do) always and just gets burned out of life because of that
Like me rn posting on tumblr while working and searching raid battles on pokemon, and watching videos on the computee while talking to my friend, and if I stop any of this taks I WILL feel like my life has amounted to nothing

I am a multitasker, except at times all those tasks are falling apart but my brain doesn’t need the feel to let them go so I multitask those failing tasks just as they are, failing.

I cooked a new recipe last night and idk why I did that because lately I’ve been so tired after my 9-5 that I just want to crumple and raisin up. it turned out nice but I ended up cooking and cleaning for like 3 hrs lol I don’t know how to be quicker in the kitchen!!! I know it’s because I’m a perfectionist, my knife skills are definitely up to par. I think I’m destined to be slow

Re-listening to the audiobook of "Misquoting Jesus" by Dr. Bart Ehrman and honestly it's excellent, I highly recommend it to anybody who's interested in history, religion, or even just anybody who grew up in a Christian environment and wants to learn more about the Bible. It can be a little dry at times, but Ehrman is excellent at simplifying complicated concepts and has a wonderful habit of repeating already-learned information when it becomes relevant again, so you can pretty much read the whole thing all the way through and never get lost or need to go back.
It goes over the history of the New Testament and of modern textual criticism, the practice of determining the original text of the book based on extant copies. All of this is of course a backdrop to discussing textual errors in the Bible- how they originated, how they were propagated, and the various scholarly and religious perspectives on them. It really challenges you to think about the Bible as an ancient text rather than as a religious book, and gets you in the headspace of a textual critic as he explains how we know which parts of the Bible were changed and what might have been there before. Some of the methods he talks about are genuinely fascinating and really get you thinking about how we know what we know about ancient texts.
Seriously, go check it out. It's free on Hoopla if you have a library card (which you should!)
