People always want complex and flawed characters. And yet, when these characters behave in a complex or flawed way, they get eviscerated for not being perfect.
okay but the way Buck was fumbling his way through telling Maddie about the date without accidentally using any pronouns - this person, my date - until he eventually slipped up at the end anyway - WHO ELSE FELT THAT??
ok so I KNOW im annoying about how much ooc shit bothers me, I KNOW. y’all have come after me for ranting about it several times, HOWEVER, one ooc thing i will always accept is post-s11 ian as an emt. is it logical? not really. is he a felon? yup. but i still have hope🙏 like everytime anyone has ever done a fic where they explain ian becoming an emt again the logic is so flawed but i do not care because i desperately need emt ian back. if i ever see ian referred to as an “ex emt” in fics i will cry JUST LET HIM HAVE THAT FUCKING JOB UGHHH
Since you've drawn a lot with the kids, what are your thoughts on red tornado from young justice?
love him forever and ever. his like... long-suffering chaperone-at-a-school-dance dynamic with the team is endlessly hilarious to me. he's a supervisor in name only and he knows it. also the arc where he's fighting the courts to keep custody of his daughter is genuinely one of my favourites of the run
So so sad that Bart never got his chance to go apeshit after Kon died. Cassie got to join a Superboy cult. Tim got to attempt cloning 99 times. Bart just became a depressed Flash and went into forensics to copy his grandpa. No, not fun, Superboy-resurrecting forensics. Regular cop forensics.
Okay but now that the live action titans is over and young justice has been canceled (again) when are we getting the tv show featuring the young justice (1998) crew as the main cast
when i think about how Bojack’s fully deserved punishment for Sarah Lynn’s death still took the form of him giving a ton of money to her worthless abusive parents who exploited her her whole life and still exploited her in death and ended up looking like innocent victims to the whole world
don't get me wrong callum is undeniably a prince and it plays into his family dynamics and his initial sense of unworthiness when the story starts a lot, but i'll never fully understand the hang up that it's a Big part of his ongoing story when his own brother, the king, says "remember who you are" and just refers and reiterates his mage identity (4x06), and that's the only one that callum seems to significantly care about either (5x07)
