ALRIGHTY SO this would either be a one shot or a shorter multi-chapter fic but once I got the idea I liked it a lot.

One shot idea I came up with and will probably never write:

High School (or college idk) theatre AU where Catra is lead actress for the play/musical that’s being put on, Glimmer is also in the cast and Bow is in the school’s pit orchestra that plays for the show. Adora’s the star athlete for whatever sport is happening that season.

A bit before tech week people in the crew drop out for whatever reason which causes panic because “fuck we need people for crew” (respect the crew people they’re just as important to the show as the actors) and while some of the cast can do some of the tasks they’re spreading it a bit thin and still need people.

Glimmer and Bow convince Adora to help out with crew for the show for whatever reason her team isn’t playing much/has a break. Adora does and for most scene change things/quick change stuff she’s assigned to help Catra because Adora strong and willing to help with anything and Catra will make sure she doesn’t fuck something up. They’ve kinda known each other for a while because mutual friends but never really had time to interact until this.

They flirt and shit and it’s cute and gay and idk if it ends with one asking the other out or what but I just really want a cute romance between the lead performer and their helpful jock techie
