If buckysarah goes canon, will you continue shipping sambucky?

It all depends on how the fandom behaves and how the movies plays out ... It wouldn't be the first time I completely ignore the actual storyline to continue my ship's agenda😊I think.

I'm trying to remember ships I've had when one of them was in a relationship but I have a bad memory.

I don't know if you're old enough to remember Smallville, but on the show I shipped both Clark/Lex and Lex/Lana and it was never a problem. Shipping is just about consuming media, enjoying the scenes with your ships, reading fics to fill the gaps and sharing ideas with people in the fandom. So these are things you can still do no matter what happens on screen.

So if the movie is done properly, I don't see why I couldn't keep shipping Sambucky no matter what the relationsip status of both characters. I will still be able to reblog gifs, read fanfics, etc,...We'll still have amazing content, and I know there is more to come, no matter what happens, because the two are the bestest of friends at the very least.

HOWEVER, if the fandom gets nasty about SarahBucky, I will jump ship so fast you will find a me-shaped hole in the middle of the Sambucky boat.

I love Sambucky, but when fandom stuff starts affecting the real world, I'm out. And the Marvel fandom has a history of being very nasty nasty in some situations and then blatantly racist in others. We know the fandom has a problem with racism and casual misogynoir.

If they try to do this with Sarah, I'll ship SarahBucky so hard and will DESTROY all Sarah detractors.

I will found the #SarahWilsonDefenseSquad and over my dead body will I let what happened to Emily VanCamp happen to Adepero Oduye. I need my girl to keep getting her paychecks!

You guys are not about to get a Black actress loose valuable contracts just because she's playing a character who's dating your blue-eyed fave. Not on my watch!

If I see any:

"But Sarah is a strong woman she doesn't need a man" Or if i see people imply in any way that Sarah is not good enough for Bucky or that Bucky isn't even into her. I'll lose it!

Just focus that energy on other couples or anywhere else .

I know that the problems probably wouldn't be coming from the Sambucky fandom, but from the other part of the Marvel fandom, but my DefenseSquad thingy will take up so much of my time I won't have time to focus on Sambucky😂.

I've been shipping SamBucky for 5 years now, I'm not just throwing that away.

BUUUuuUT I absolutely ship Sarah and Bucky because they actually had pretty instant chemistry considering how short their scenes are, Sarah is a cool character, *EYE* want to finally be able to self-insert with a character with the same washday routine as me, and I just love the idea of this character with the absolutely worst of white fans ending up with a Black woman. das cool. das sexc

I must say, newly uncovered roommate footage is a real blow to the sarahbucky agenda. We were all like "lol he's showing off to Sarah while her son uses him like a jungle gym" and the whole times he's complaining about how he wants to move in with her brother.
