Bandai Japan Reveals FANTASTICS Tamagotchi Original Shell

If you caught the broadcast of FANTASTICS on July 6th at 24:59 then you saw the members of the Fantastics by Exile Tribe pitch their Tamagotchi Original designs to Bandai on the television program. We informed you recently that Bandai would be making a guest appearance on the show in order to select a winning Tamagotchi Original shell design.

Each member drafted a unique shell in hopes to be selected, and have their design enter production for sales from an online lottery, and sold at their live stage tours for  the “Back to the Memories Part 3” show in Japan.

The winning shell design went to Sota Nakajima amongst the eight other designs.

The Tamagotchi Original shell is super adorable as it features a sun with a Tamagotchi face at the top right-hand corner, sunflowers toward the bottom of the shell, and the “Back to the Memories” logo. The screen is outlined in brown and neon green buttons.

The packaging is also unique as it features the "Back to the Memories Part 3" logo, and more subtle colors of red and blue along with a Tamagotchi logo to match.

How can you get your hands on one? Well, this will be available by two means, the first is the online lottery. HI-AX members will be able to participate in the lottery starting on July 7th, 2023 and ending on July 19th, 2023 on the official website. Winners will be contacted on July 21st, 2023 and they’ll then be ale to start making their purchases up until July 30th, 2023.

This Tamagotchi Original will be available for ¥3,800. The Tamagotchi Original will start shipping on July 31st, 2023!

Bandai also brought some Tamagotchi’s on set and took a picture with the Fanatics! They brought a Tamagotchi Plus Color, Tamagotchi Plus, and a Tamagotchi Original, and of course a Tamagotchi Uni!

#like i dont vibe with the dungeon themes as much as super’s but the emotional tracks are stellar #i feel like the main one that gets attention is ‘’sympathy and serenity’’. which happens to be my personal fave but still #‘’rainbows of hope’’ is fantastic and the increasingly miserable remixes of the ‘’reached the end of the dungeon’’ track are phenomenal #the one that plays during hydreigons death is fantastic. its so good it got into rejuvenation totally unchanged #echoed voice

FANTASTICS Tamagotchi Original Shell to be Revealed on Japan Broadcast TV!

FANTASTICS from Exile Tribe is a nine-member Japanese male dance and vocal group that has inherited the ideas and beliefs of Exile. Exile is a nineteen-member Japanese boy band who is no stranger to Tamagotchi. They collaborated with Tamagotchi back in 2008 with the launch of the exclusive Exile Tamagotchi Plus Color which featured two unique shells, characters, items, and more!

Fast forward to 2023 and Bandai Japan is now collaborating with FANTASTICS from Exile Tribe. The group has a broadcast television variety show titled “Fun! Fun! Fanatics” that broadcasts in Japan on Nippon TV (NTV) every Thursday at 24:59 to 25:29, and their third season just started on June 22nd, 2023! There will be 10 episodes total broadcasting this summer.

So how did they partner with Bandai Japan? Well the two partnered together on some new Tamagotchi Original shells! Sounds like this might be the seventh installment of the Tamagotchi Remix series. All nine members of the group designed a unique Tamagotchi Original design that will soon be featured on the broadcast on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 at 24:59!

However not all shells will reach production. Bandai will be choosing a few shells to adopt and bring into production. On the broadcast, we’ll find out whose shells make the cut! How can you buy one? The winning shells will actually be sold as a part of the live stage tours of “Back to the Memories Part 3” which is their live tour where you can see them dance and sing your favorite songs on stage. These tours will start in August, 2023 and run through September 24th, 2023 in Osaka, Tokyo, Aichi, and Fukuoka Japan! Check out the official website here.
