A few notes about chapter 98:
-Mitsuba is significantly weaker than usual most likely because he’s far away from the school. Without his school mystery powers Mitsuba is just a weak supernatural who will inevitably disappear. This also makes sense as to why he was referred to as a “low-level spirit” last chapter
-The aquarium is not real, Kou questions if he’s ever seen it before as they’re going in and then we later get the reveal that everyone in this aquarium are people who died long ago. In the beginning of chapter 30 we see Tsukasa drawing a picture on the wall, in the very center there’s a fish with spikey teeth similar to the one we see at the end of the chapter. This aquarium was most definitely a trap set up by Tsukasa, this is all a part of Tsukasa’s big plan and this might be the final piece
-It is unfortunately Mitsuba who lures Kou into this aquarium and by the way he acts at the beginning of the chapter it’s quite obvious that to some extent he knew what was going to happen. This is most likely because Mitsuba was forced/threatened into luring Kou into this aquarium and feels awful about doing so. It’s clear Mitsuba is just trying to spend what time he can having fun with Kou before he has to tell Kou what’s really going on

Tori: It’s like... I get what you’re talking about, but I also don’t get it at all. Um, does that mean you’re going to do that “clamming” thing this year, too?
Eichi: Yep. And this year, I thought that I’d like to allow you all to participate as well. Tori and Tsukasa-kun, and Anzu-chan as well.
Tsukasa: Eh? That... might be an honor, but is it really all right?
Eichi: Of course. You’ve become head of the Suou family, haven’t you? Nobody would tell you something like “you're a child, so you shouldn't” nowadays.
Tsukasa: ..........♪
Eichi: But, naturally, it’s up to you whether you decide to participate in the “clamming.”
If you don’t think you can go along with something this silly, you can always excuse yourself. It’s just for fun, after all.
Tsukasa: N-not at all! This humble Tsukasa would gladly partake in something like that!
Tori: If Tsukasa’s going to do it, then I definitely am! I might not be the head of the Himemiyas yet, but it’s no fair if someone like Tsukasa is the only one who gets to play!
Eichi: Yeah, that’s what I thought you would say. Thank goodness, I’m so glad that the costumes we took great pains to prepare for “clamming” won’t go to waste.
Tsukasa: Costumes...? Um, will we be performing a Live?
Eichi: Nope. I’ll explain in detail later— but it’s not just us that participate in “clamming,” but the servants as well.
Tsukasa: The servants as well? Isn’t that a little unusual?
Eichi: Yes, that’s true. Ourselves and those that work for us naturally aren’t on equal footing. If it were still the olden days, we would never be allowed to even eat at the same table.
However. During “clamming,” those “differing social standings” all disappear. Each and every one of us loses our titles, and on equal terms, we’re able to play at being people with the same positions.
To make that premise clear, during “clamming” it’s customary to wear clothing that servants would wear.
Tsukasa: I see. For households like ours, with long and prestigious lineages, the way one dresses is almost equivalent to one’s social standing. So, to eliminate the differences between classes, everybody wears the same clothing...
Eichi: That’s exactly right. Tsukasa-kun is earnest and clever, which makes it easy to explain things. It’s a real help.
Tsukasa: (Fufun ♪ I’m not sure why, but onii-sama is being very kind today! He’s giving me quite a lot of praise!)

Tori: (..........)
Eichi: Fufu. “Clamming” begins after the sun has completely set, but let’s go ahead and change our clothes.
Tori and the rest will be participating for the first time, so we should probably start preparing now.
Hiyori: Yes, yes! Anzu-chan, can you hand out the outfits you prepared?
Fufu~n ♪ Actually, these outfits were requested from Anzu-chan a little while ago, as sewing seems to be her speciality.
Eichi: Yep. I feel bad for making a guest do work for us, but it looks like Anzu-chan likes making costumes, so I expect that it was actually pretty good stress relief.
Tori: Oh, Anzu made these? Anzu’s got good taste, so I’m excited now. ♪
Tsukasa: ...Tenshouin-onii-sama.
Eichi: Yes?
Tsukasa: Um, I do understand that everybody will be wearing the same outfits to eliminate the difference between their statuses. But, even so, I think this outfit is a little...
Eichi: Oh? You don’t want to wear the clothing of a lowly servant?
I suppose you’re free to think that way, but in this day and age, you might not want to say that kind of thing out loud.
Tsukasa: T-that is not what I mean! It’s just that, no matter how you look at it, this seems to be an outfit meant for women to wear!?
Tumblr media
Eichi: Hm? Oh, that’s true. This is a so-called “maid outfit.”
Sorry, sorry. As the one who placed this order, this must be my mistake. I see... so when the common people hear “servant’s costume,” the first thing that comes to mind is a maid outfit. I’ve learned something new today.
...But, Anzu-chan. I’m sure I told you these were for us to wear? Why did you give us women’s clothing?
Tsukasa: Well, to be accurate, these measurements are decidedly matched to our proportions, so they’re not exactly “women’s” clothing.
In other words, this wasn’t an accidental Mistake made by Onee-sama, but rather her own desire to have us wear Maid outfits...!?
Why? I don’t understand!
Hiyori: Well, it’s fine, isn’t it? We’d look good in any outfit, after all!
Tori: Yeah, yeah! I think this kind of cute outfit suits me perfectly!
Tsukasa: Why are you all going along with this so easily!? I-I’m not wearing this! As a warrior, and also as a man, there are some lines that I do not wish to cross!
Tori: Yeah, but didn’t Eichi-sama just say that those values are prehistoric? Don’t complain, just wear it~ It might actually suit you, even if it’ll definitely suit me better. ♪
Tsukasa: I don’t want it to suit me! I’m not going to wear this!
Ahh, Onee-sama, don’t make that face! It’s not a matter of disliking the outfits you make for me! This is just a matter of pride, as a man from a family of warriors...!
Eichi: (Fufu. I was right to bring Anzu-chan along. I can feel the mood, which was so heavy I’d call it gloomy, gradually lightening.)
(It’s not like Anzu-chan calculated any of this - maybe it’s all just her nature, or simply a happy coincidence... But she’s saved us, many times over.)
Tumblr media
Eichi: (If this “fun party” could help relieve some of the burden from your shoulders, I’d be happy.)

The 4PM Libary
Since chapter 78 I've been wondering about Tsukasas school life. Because it seems to me that Tsuchigomori didn't know him, even though he was at least at the entrance ceremony (is it called that?). And to me it looks like Tsuchi has read a good amount of books from his library about the students attending there.
So I've been wondering, if the Tsukasa we know is a pure supernatural being/clone from the red house, would he have a book?
Or are the books limited to Humans?

Miraculous Chara
An idea dump for my Miraculous Ladybug Shugo Chara au
(Forgive me for not putting this under a read more, I don't think I can on mobile.)
This au does not replace the the SC characters with ML characters; Marinette is not Amu and Adrien is not Tadase or Ikuto. Basically everything is the same except instead of gaining their powers from a miraculous and the kwamis, they have charas.
Tikki was born from Marinette's desire to be more confident and strong, from her creativity and selflessness. Plagg was born from Adrien's desire to be independent and free, to destroy the invisible cage around him. Their charas were born on the same day, so origins plays out basically the same. Master Fu, instead of handing out the miraculous', gave them the Humpty lock and Dumpty key. Beyond that, he's simply a wise old dude who once had a chara and has a role similar Tsukasa in that he offers guidance and advice to the new 'guardians'; he doesn't have wayzz, his chara went away long ago.
The whole thing about keeping their identities hidden is something I was debating, but I think they'd find out pretty quick after seeing each other's charas at school, since they wouldn't feel much need to hide considering most people can't see them. So the love square is a bit different: Marinette still crushes hard on Adrien and Adrien still crushes hard on Ladybug (or rather, Lucky Ladybug, is her full transformation name), but it's sort of like Tadase's crush on amulet heart, there's some kind of disconnect in this poor fool's head that separates Marinette and Ladybug and it takes a while before he realizes what he's doing. Marinette knows about his crush on Ladybug but Adrien doesn't realize Marinette is crushing on him. Knowing he's crushing on her would be self, she doesn't say anything about her crush, as she wants the relationships to be real and not feel like he's with her for only one aspect; so she decides to work toward her would be self and only tell him when he closes that gap for himself.
Hawkmoth is searching for the embryo in order to bring back Emilie. In their youth, they both had charas, but they of course disappeared once they grew up and realized their would be self's.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Years later though, Emilie still missed her chara dearly, and at a time when she felt lost, she enlisted Gabriel's help to find a way to draw their charas back out. They eventually found an old ritual and attempted it, but it failed. Emilie's heart egg was still drawn out, but it was dull and cracked, and she fell into her comma upon it's exit.
Tumblr media
Gabriel, heart broken, desperately kept researching to find a way to help her. He knew of the embryo already, and decided it was the only way. Soon he found out what they did wrong and again performed the ritual, on himself this time. Nooroo was successfully drawn out, but he was still damaged by Gabriel's twisted heart, his egg dull and the poor chara very weak.
Tumblr media
Gabriel started character transforming and pulling out X eggs from vulnerable people to make them help him find the embryo. After he saw Ladybug and Chat Noir, he thinks they may be the key to finding the embryo. The akuma's are the result of forced character transformations with X eggs.
The rest of team miraculous aren't given their powers by Marinette, they one by one hatch their own heart's eggs.
Alya is first. Her egg is born because of Lila. Lila's purpose in the story isn't to cause a frankly ridiculous conflict and be Marinette's enemy (although, she may later on come back with her own chara to try and find the embryo for herself). The liar still comes to class and briefly has everyone fooled, though not to the extend they shun Marinette. Alya wants so bad to believe her because knowing such an interesting person could be great for her career, and she does for a bit ignore Marinette's pleading, however after a day or so, she sees the cracks. Lila's new purpose is to make Alya face the fact that she is not yet the reporter she though she was, believing someone so easily. Alya has an internal crisis from which Trixx is born from her desire to see through the lies of the world, to be cunning and on top of every situation. With Trixx's and Marinette's help, Alya outs Lila.
Tumblr media
Nino is next, I don't have as much of an arc figured out for how he gets Wayzz, maybe it's also caused by Lila, but basically, Wayzz chara is born from his desire to protect his friends. I have a bit of a dilemma here, Wayzz is not exactly what I picture as Nino's would be self. I don't want to change Wayzz completely and make him a tiny dj, so maybe Wayzz also represents Nino wanting to be taken more seriously and to be wiser of the world, to take things slow and not rush life.
Tumblr media
Chloe hatches her heart egg sometime after Alya and Nino. Pollen is Chloe's desire to better herself. She still sees herself as a queen, but she doesn't want to be an evil queen; she wants to be a kind and honest queen, one her subjects can depend upon and feel safe with. She'd never admit this though lol. Pollen encourages her to better herself and be nicer to people, and thanks to her chara and Marinette, she does actually start to noticably change.
Tumblr media
As for Luka, Kagami, and other future miraculous holders, I don't have as much worked out for them since we don't know much about those Kwamis. I'll update later on them. I can say that Luka's chara is probably born in part from his love of music, and Kagami's has something to do with her serious nature and strength but also how restrained she feels.
This is just a basic info dump, I'm open to questions about this au~

Crossover Idea
An idea I made up when listening to some Kotonoha Project songs. Anything mentioned are things from my view and interpretations. (Note: this was first created before ‘G NEXT’, things will be edited later)
Disclaimer: item - owner
Kotonoha Project - Rerulili
Cardfight Vanguard series and franchise - Bushiroad
Idea for this crossover - sunmaylight
What if there was a crossover between Cardfight Vanguard G and Kotonoha project. It wouldn’t mess up the main plot at first, but it would add something else to character growth with the G characters.
For example, Tokoha is like Ritsu Kanokawa from ‘Word Karma’. They both have a set view of the world around them that needs to be removed like a fog lifted from their eyes. For Tokoha’s case, it would be the view of being overshadowed by Mamoru. Growing an inferior complex to her brother when he does amazing feats in the Vanguard world doesn’t help as well. The time of the ‘Tatemae’s appearance would be before the fight between Tokoha and Chrono (the one outside in that clearing).
Shion would be like Ai Kutani from ‘Brainwash’. They are both in a slump in their lives that needs to be overcome. Shion’s slump is obviously during season 2 after ‘Ace’ made Shion lose the company. He needs the will to fight against his mistake and take back the Kiba Corporation. I sometimes find it hard to believe that Shion got a new determination/resolve after fighting Kai multiple times, then with the whole dream-estique experience. So I think of putting the Tatemae’s appearance around the thunderstorm scene after a few fights between Kai and Shion would work out well. Symolism of rain is gloomy and has a chance of bringing out the gloomy side of people sometimes.
Chrono would be like Sora Kuzunoha from ‘Blustering Behavior’. They both are trying to prove themselves to someone they look up to, but it backfires in their face. Who Chrono looks up to is actually going to be what he is. Who is Chrono and what was his purpose before he lost his memories and put in that orphanage. Because that whole thing of Stride Gate revealed some insight of Chrono’s past, but not enough where he could have sorted it out at the them. What I am thinking is that Chrono has dealt with ‘Tatemae’ minions for sometime, after finding his deck, all the way until ‘Gears’ Crisis’. Like his ‘Tatemae’s fights’ are activated during his actual Vangaurd fights.
Chrono’s own Tatemae is revealed after he is kidnapped by little Myoujin. Like that whole situation of summoning the last of the Time Zodiac Beast into Earth and other stuff must have stressed Chrono to the MAX. Hence a strong ‘Tatemae’ comes out that Chrono tries to defeat, but can’t because he is too weak after his whole fight with Myoujin.
The real catch however, is that the ‘Tatemae’ is different with each character and doesn’t correlate to the characters themselves. They are actually going to be past evil units, i.e: “Яeverse” units, ‘Link Joker’ (void) units, ‘Deletors’, etc. Tokoha has a ‘Warrior of Void’ as her Tatemae as a warning of sorts of things that will come. Shion will have ‘Star-vader “Яeverse” Cradle’ to represent the next phase. Chrono will have ‘Daunting Deletor Oksizz’ because of the whole concept of ‘Deletors’ and Ibuki seeing a demon from the past he has to overcome before the final boss of this arc-thing’.
Honne are the character’s ‘Avatar’ unit. First stage is the ‘Grade 0 or 1′ that is shown in that specific point in canon. Second stage is the ‘Grade 3′ unit, the one that has much potential in them. Third stage is the ‘Stride Unit’, one that is shown to be a possible future of that character and unit. Third stage is a current ‘G-Unit’ that relates to that point in canon, much like first stage.
Character’s Honne
Tokoha: ‘Spring-Heralding Maiden, Ozu’ - Asha - ‘Dream-spinning Ranunculus, Asha’
Shion: Sicilus - Altmile - ‘Transcending the Heavens, Altmile’
Chrono: Chrono Dran - ChronoJet Dragon - ‘ChronoJet Dragon Nextage’
The Last Boss:
This one is interesting. The last boss is Ryuzu Myoujin in his glory from the final battle of Company vs. TRY3 and friends in Stride Gate-hen. The song that is based off of this scenario is the latest song that got released for the Kotonoha Series, ‘Heaven and Hell’ (Tengoku to Jigoku). I can’t explain the mv in much words except, that it is a master piece. The whole concept for it in the CFV G-verse is that Myoujin doesn’t realize he has summoned his ‘Tatemae’ into the real world, so it’s a race against the clock to defeat Myoujin so that it will disappear. Everyone will go to there respective battles and everything will play out like canon, mostly. Ibuki will start fighting the Tatemae, after he loses to Myoujin, then punched like canon. Chrono encounters Ibuki like in canon. Then before his “death”, he gives Chrono a portion of his power to defeat Myoujin. It leads to ‘ChronoJet Dragon GG’ to form as Chrono’s new ‘honne’. During the fight against Chrono, I’m going to say Myoujin doesn’t have full control of his emotions being a child’s body with an adult mind. Because of that, Myoujin’s ‘Tatemae’ goes berserk because even though the ‘Tatemae’ doesn’t reflect on the person’s negative feelings, they are born from them. Que battle against Myoujin and when Myoujin ‘Strides’ to ‘Deus Ex Machina, Demiurge’, it is revealed to be his ‘Tatemae’. ‘Tatemae’ battle happens sometime near the end of the cardfight. After the Tatemae fight, everything happens like canon. But Chrono and Ibuki interact more inbetween ‘Stride Gate’ and ‘Next’ because they got that ‘Kotonoha Project’ power that ‘Tsukasa’ can use and Ibuki will be increasing that ability to the full extent as well as train Chrono.
Myoujin does not get a honne because of what happens at the end of ‘Stride Gate’ and because not all of the fighters who have seen or fought with the ‘Tatemae’ will birth a honne. Also, every honne Ibuki has used is because they are one of the main characters of the show. Or something, haven’t gotten to that part yet.
(I will go back to edit this and incorporate ‘G NEXT’ into it, but ‘G Z’ just started a few days ago and I finished ‘G NEXT’ not that long ago, so go Vanguard hype.)
If you want to use this concept you can, but credit me for the idea of creating this concept.
