If you're caught up on Archie Silver, what do you think of Silver, Shard and Larry as a team?
I honestly really like their dynamic! I really like Shard's showiness and how he bounced off Silver's more serious side. I think Larry is cute and serves to diffuse the situation when Shard and Silver get too argumentative. I thought it was really funny how Shard did NOT care about pushing Silver's buttons (whether it was to put things into perspective for Silver or because he was done with his shit).
Honestly, a team-up I wouldn't mind seeing again (if there ever was a way for it to come back, which is VERY unlikely). We don't really see Silver as the most serious person in the team unless he's informing people on disaster/preventing it, since he's typically paired with individuals like Blaze, Espio, and Shadow.
Also found this line really funny. Shard you really couldn't be any more wrong. (serious ≠ not an optimist)
TLDR; I think Silver, Larry and Shard make a good team
in january 2022, i began my second 3d modeling project ever. after months of work, i'd learned a lot about 3d modeling... too much, in fact, so this project never saw the light of day until now.
my design of prism has greatly shifted since then, but im still proud of this little model in the end.
frank burns is such a great character: he epitomizes rich mediocrity, except he’s possibly not even that rich, his wife is (which is interesting in 1950-something), he became a surgeon because of expectations, he presumably got married because of expectations, he believes in the sanctity of marriage no matter how disgusting it gets, he firmly has to believe in US philosophies of hierarchies and imperialism, because otherwise what is he even doing all of this for, he has two cars and a 35.000 dollar house (or is that two houses and a 35.000 dollar car haha), he’d never make this kind of analysis himself because he is so firmly entrenched in this belief system that he’ll never escape it, he’ll continue to victimize himself and believe that he’s actually being victimized by [insert whoever the news says is the current bad guy that the American good guy is heroically battling, hey that’s him, he’s the American good guy!] and every once in awhile it’s like he’s thiiiiis close to opening up a teensy bit to learn something about himself or culture or tolerance before it’s almost immediately slammed shut, sometimes by the very people who are in a position to offer him change but who are too disgusted by him to see it, he is this close to committing a homicide, I believe he really genuinely deeply loves margaret and because she changes and he doesn’t and her changing creates the ability to know she deserves better than a man who won’t, he inevitably loses her and you know that he will learn absolutely nothing from the experience, you know he’ll go home and paint himself as a hero of war, and then maybe have a terrible relationship with everyone around him until he dies of old age with plenty of money and nobody who cares
he is the stagnancy of a culture of fear, imperialism, “fitting in to society,” capitalism, (shallow) fanaticism, cowardice of belief, military supremacy, and patriarchy, he’s giving us everything (derogatory)
Travis introduces the demons to the Sex Offender Registry for their food. He doesn't want to eat r*p*sts/p*dos, but the other demons have no problems eating them, and it gives them their food's location!
The demons ran at the opportunity to eat. A bunch of hollering and howling beasts clawing at the chance to dine.
There’s a sudden disappearance of many well known people as well! The rings of predators are becoming smaller and smaller after the demons snuck in and replaced all the victims with hungry and angry demons.
Travis can peacefully sleep at night knowing somewhere a predator is getting what they deserve. Mauled bu hungry demons! :D
He, of course, told the gang about it! Sal wasn’t too sure whether to celebrate or give an empathetic approach but Travis looked so proud, he couldn’t dampen that. Meanwhile Larry cheered and decided an impromptu movie night with pizza and snacks and substances is in order! Celebrating the death of monsters!
Surprisingly the demons made a market of predator hunting. They don’t kill them outright. Instead they grab their target and drag them to hell. Trapping them with their own kind and putting them against eachother in fights. Some get chased for sport and strung around like trophies. Treated like fresh game. Sal would see a demon trailing behind suspicious looking people and quietly nod to them. The demons never gave up their cover but he knew the glint in their eyes was acknowledgment.
It turned from the registry to demons investigating different homes. Sal had informed that not every monster ends up on a registry. Many keep their victims close so there is never a chance. The demons took that as their opportunity to invade houses throughout the world and boy did they have a field day. So many people were mysteriously vanished with their crimes plastered all over the world. Spirits from the past were dragged back from the trenches to receive even more punishments for their crimes against humanity.
Someone apparently told the Gamer Girl about VR games, so she's decided to spend the day down with the rest of the characters, and for whatever reason has latched onto Floyd, which makes her the kids' problem. They try to make the most of it and include her in their usual chaos, with mixed results.
After a while she gets split up from the rest of the group and finds Cody's brother Zack, Larry Koopa, and a Pianta kid named Jim pulling pranks and decides it looks like fun. The three of them aren't sure that someone who they've seen hanging out with the main kid squad has what it takes to join them, but are convinced when she uses her modding powers to make a plate of spaghetti teleport whenever Mario tries to grab it.
From there the episode is a montage of GG and Zack's crew pulling pranks on various characters while the kids try to find GG before something bad happens.
Unfortunately, the prank squad picks the wrong target when they mistake Mr. L for Luigi, and he captures GG using his anti-Admin tech so he can study her. So the two kid groups unite to save her...and possibly also save Mr. L from her.
lowkey in such a fic writing brain bc i love when larry is literally just some guy in a sort of situation
i have an incredibly specific vision here tho. like i want him to be doing cool shit in an expressly uncool manner. yes hes on a secret mission protecting the region from an outbreak of the powerful area zero monsters and thats his Actual third job. but he just severely boring about it. not even like a cool angst point past plot device its literally just his job. hes not reeeally supposed to talk about it (NDAs amirite) but yeah ultimately geeta just contracted him to do that and he could do with the money tbfh (rent these days) so he just agreed and well here he is now ig w/e
