2023 man

- went on 3 different hiking/camping trips, one of which got me stranded on an island with a capsized kayak. I'm realizing I'm truly at my happiest when I'm hiking so I'm gonna try to train and get out there more . I'm actually inspired to exercise for once in my life

- got engaged! In a botanical garden while my partner tried playing tears for fears really loud on his phone to drown out the taylor swift fountain show

- DMed an 8-month campaign. Coulda gone deeper/longer but it was originally only gonna be 4-5 months. The final battle itself took multiple sessions which I really enjoyed. I put a lot more thought into the writing than I've done in the past and I was happy with it and the gm style I've discovered for myself

- got to work on a bunch of really fun projects, event posters, lots of murals and now I get to go to a candy factory every few weeks for work. Not a bad gig. Cost of living still kicking my ass though so I have another new job starting in Feb :')

- saw some of the best shows I've ever seen including the Cure, New Order, Molchat Doma, Sextile, and the War on Drugs

- discovered a lot of cool new places to hang out. The soviet bar knows us by name now lmao and lets us sample their experimental shit and dick around after hours. It's weird cause spots I considered STAPLES pre-covid I NEVER go to anymore, some are gone, two literally got destroyed in floods. I can't tell if the bar/club scene here is changing or if I'm just 29 and not impressed by the usual shit anymore and also really really don't wanna get bovid in a shitty and cramped indoor club

- really started taking the initiative in terms of planning outings with my local friends. Got really sick of hearing "its so hard to see eachother now that we're all adults" no fuck you we're flying kites

2024 I just wanna have the most low key wedding ever where I just get super drunk w/ my friends, hike more, play yet more tabletop and become an even BETTER initiator of plans. That's it. I don't have lofty goals man, it's hell world and I just want my buddies to have happy times, and to bask in that beautiful orange vitamin D orb in the sky, that's literally all I need. Noel out.

How do you go about making a character or NPC?

I wrote a post about this here actually! Basically, my default approach is to choose an archetype, shake it upside down, and then find a way to make the apparent contradictions work. Or, alternatively, choose to play it straight--but play it straight with intent, rather than just because I didn't consider any other options.

That's why my Captain of the Suncrest City Guard is a disabled centaur, why she serves the Goddess of Death rather than a more traditional martial or law-based deity, and why she's also every inch the archetypal paladin and Reasonable Authority Figure. I wasn't trying to make a contradiction, I just didn't want her to be EVERY overdone stereotype. Archetypes are effective! It's just not fun to be lazy.

Have you ever had a romance with an NPC or another PC?

I have not! Not because I'm opposed to it, actually, it's just never come up. Romancing another PC is something I'd only be interested in doing in a long-form campaign with people I know well and trust. A DM-controlled NPC would be a bit of a lower barrier of entry, as long as (obviously) we talked about it and everyone was comfortable.

That being said, I subscribe enthusiastically to the school of thought that it's better to play PCs with living families (by blood or choice) and close connections, and even PCs with--gasp--happy backstories. That way, they have ties in the world, reason to trust others, and they get traumatized DURING the campaign where you can react to it in real time! But also, it gives the DM opportunities for quest hooks, grounds your character firmly in the world and the narrative, and gives YOU options for bringing in help or interesting opportunities for split-obligations roleplaying.

(By which I mean--my paladin, Rinda Broadstone, is married and has five kids, NOT counting her wife's daughter OR the teenage daughter's girlfriend OR the young clerk she rescued from an abusive situation when he was fourteen and whom she openly thinks of as a son. You bet your ass that if she's ever in a long-form campaign, and the world is at risk, she's gonna be in AGONY having to go off to face the BBEG without knowing whether her family is safe. She'll do it, but it creates the possibility for really in-depth social interactions with other players.)

So obviously if I have a character who's canonically happily married, and the DM brings them into the plot--something which would require immense trust and good communication between us, honestly, because there ARE DMs who view PC family as cannon fodder for cheap angst--then that would require some romantic social roleplaying between me and an NPC. But I think there's a subtle but important distinction between "the DM is playing my character's pre-existing spouse" and "I am romancing an NPC".

Obviously, if you're interested in romancing either an NPC or another PC, discuss it out of character and away from the game table first with whoever is playing the other character!

Oh lmao. My poor first GM. This was in our Classic Who-themed Gallifreyan politics CIA campaign a thousand years ago. She created this pair of characters--an elderly Time Lord and her shobogan "servant" (actually a phenomenally gifted engineer and lowkey secretly her girlfriend) --who were intended to be like, the sympathetic and tragic antagonists that we would defeat for the good of civilization but have compassion for. Unfortunately the party latched onto them instantly, sympathized entirely with their motivations, rolled really high on some persuasion checks, and then uh.

Started a Gallifreyan civil war? Over it?

We went a little bit completely 100% renegade because we liked them so much.

10. what got you into dnd?

I was always fascinated by the concept--I’d played D&D once when I was in high school, and while the campaigns didn’t pan out there, I stayed interested and finally ended up joining my first campaigns when my very-cool boyfriend invited me to his online one, and when I joined my dear friend Suna’s Curse of Strahd run! I had such a wildly good time that I haven’t been able to stop, and have since played in many many MANY games and oneshots, and have begun running some campaigns of my own (two finished, two in progress!)

I really love roleplaying both in person and over text, and it delights me both to play and to GM. I want to do even more of it!!! So hey, if you’re looking for someone to tell all about your super cool D&D worlds and characters, feel free to hmu >w>

19. when has inspiration saved your ass?

Ohohoho. The one that immediately comes to mind is when Shenzi, my beautiful, idiot, buff barbarian orc babe of a daughter, tore a tree up from the ground with a strength roll, mostly for fun--and then had to hide when some evil goblins or something started coming down the trail. The rest of the party is hiding in a cave, sleeping because they’re all VERY low on health, and Shenzi was very much supposed to be keeping night watch and NOT tearing up trees, so this is Bad. She rolls a 1 to try and hide, because of course Stealth is not her forte, and I decided to use my Inspiration to try again. Shenzi rolls FAR better, and this time just. Plants the tree she tore up in front of the cave where the party is hiding, and then hides behind it. And it WORKED. B) Thank fuck bc I don’t think they would have woken up in time lmao.

nat 1. most memorable crit fail?

Okay I know it said player but I have a GREAT one for this as a GM, please strap in for the story of: Lukas and the Neverending Night of Bad Rolls.

So, I’m the GM of a little campaign that I like to call Songhaven--which is a very music-based campaign where most fight scenarios can be solved via clever thinking and puzzle-solving rather than actual combat. The general goal is to leave everyone’s lives better than you found them! Most people are nice, but...

Enter Lukas Rademacher--or, as he’s known by his codename, Rath the Capable. A member of the Court of the Frozen heart, Lukas works as a spy for the queen of his nation and spends the majority of time deceiving people to get information from them. He’s cold, standoffish, and very rude to people who he thinks are beneath him, but the queen keeps him around because he’s still an incredibly intelligent and capable man, surviving lethal encounters on a near daily basis with nothing more than the use of his wits. 

Lukas also has a reputation for rolling RIDICULOUSLY well on every check he makes despite having almost no bonuses to almost anything:

In time, Lukas became a close friend to the party and started to become a better, more compassionate person, in part because his beloved girlfriend was traveling with them and Lukas would do ANYTHING for her... 

So one day, due to Tragic Circumstances, the party ended up in a situation where they had to fight Lukas--he violently attacked them and repeatedly kept trying to convey something to them without outright saying it:

"I'm trying to tell you," Lukas says, clearly frustrated. "The pillars do not come down until you die..." He pauses, meeting Revel's eyes. "Or I do. Take a hint, you idiots..."

He was attempting to hold out through being fully possessed until he could communicate to the party that, yes, he wanted them to kill him because he was dying anyway due to being possessed by an evil entity! And he wanted them to stop him before he no longer had control of himself and actually significantly injured him. So, hey, you’d think that Lukas--with his history of incredible rolls--would be able to roll well during this very significant moment, yes?

No. Not at all.

So on top of Lukas not being able to roll well enough to hit a single person or convey his message to the party, his bad streaked cursed the entire party, who continued to trip over themselves and fail to understand his words SO BADLY that this very emotional moment became an absolute festival of clowns for, like, an HOUR.

Now, a good GM probably would have found a way to twist this to be emotional, but. I was laughing too fucking hard to think my way out of it, so I just let the chaos continue.

Shenanigans thereafter included Lukas lifting someone’s level of Exhaustion (they were at 3) only for the player to roll so badly on their next check that they gained the level of Exhaustion right back, and another player rolling so badly that they failed to hit an inanimate object. All of these things led to Lukas becoming more and more frustrated, and me cackling like a madwoman.

Eventually things DID get solved, but not after an incredible amount of clowning was had.

Somehow, Revel swings entirely clear of the ice despite standing right next to it. His grip on the dagger fumbles a bit, and he accidentally drops it.

"Are you kidding me." Lukas looks absolutely dumbfounded.

PLAYER: "I've never used this!" 

"Neither have I, and I could still swing a dagger at a non moving object!" Lukas retorts.

And that’s the story of Lukas Rademacher and his Neverending Night of Bad Rolls. B)

oh the other day there was this quote “conversations they Thought they were having behind my back” and i was like oh lmao what a mood, Oh the scores and scores of remarks i’ve been aware of that ppl thought i wasn’t....funnily enough sometimes it counts even in terms of things people say to your face, ugh, like, yknow when they make some Joke or say something kind of sarcastically or Sure Jan-ly and you can tell they don’t think you can pick up on it. a joy always

like every other day of my life i think of the stretch of time i was living that Working Homeless life and at the ends of my shifts i’d use my employee discount to get probably my one meal of the day and take it to the corner and sit quietly on my phone so i could use the wifi to talk to buddies & generally taking up one cubic yard of existence, for some reason one or two coworkers would come up with this running joke to be like “you’re still here? go home” lmao and im like, well what would i say to that anyways? mind your own business is what i should have said lol but like. they werent even necessarily trying to be outright Mean but it was still like, the vibe that b/c they didnt think i would Get a joke at my expense just cuz i didnt respond, the Amusement of subtly picking on the weird kid or whatever, etc. and i’d be like well i am getting my calories up so im not fatigued tomorrow and engaging with the outside world the one way i really can and im putting off going outside a little longer because its winter.....not like i can be like “cant go home b/c i dont have that” b/c i didnt know it wouldntve gotten me fired and i wasnt like, embarrassed, but i know v well plenty of people would suddenly take the bar exam and get judgy and i was already dealing with enough weird lowkey contempt from randos, thanks. my only friends were The Other Gays and a couple managers who both transferred and a handful of other people and then on the other end of the spectrum you had the sorts of people like the one who said “wow can’t believe you let him do that” when i was sexually assaulted like 10 min before my shift started so i was all pissed off and stressed when i came in and later called me an idiot like several times way too seriously while i was taking a minute to reverse engineer the entire ice dispensing chute without being able to see what i was doing, or the guy who was weirdly an ass to like, everyone always, who “””accidentally””” called me the wrong name after seeing my legal name One Time months and months into everyone knowing me by my actual name.......i had Such a weird time, jobs are so unnecessarily shitty sometimes with like, none of it hinging on what you actually do.......the piece de resistance was the new gm pulling some real shit with me once and i shouldve walked out right then especially since i had to quit like 3 weeks later lol, i never quit a job rudely enough. always shouldve inconvenienced them even harder one last time. oh man and that one time the gm pulled some extra shit with me was im fairly sure the same day or very close to it when i had like almost $80 in pay they forgot to give me b/c i was the only person doing deliveries for the last like 3 hrs and i even worked up the nerve like a week later to be like “hey....the $74??” but it never happened. oh how i wish i quit more rudely!! all i did was stop going above and beyond for them. legit slowed everything down like 0.5 speed and stopped doing 90% of the shit i’d been doing w/o anyone having to ask. have fun. oh how many memories i have of people being crap to me there.....Alas

another middle of the day long story about Ugh That Was Trash, take notes!!! and my evil parents were not even involved, directly, at that time. unless you count that i was homeless because they were evil. anyways not everyone at work was crap and for as many people who were shitty to me there was probably at least almost as many people who were actually decent and cool. like the gay guy who, i delivered So Much Soup to a house meeting of local buddhists, and the one guy gave me materials and i was like thank you, and the others were like “oh we know your gay guy coworker jonathan!” and i was like oh fuck i love that guy!! and they were like oh my god have some food and i was like absolutely. and one person annoyed me but others did not and i talked to one girl named kyrie after the 80s song and she was like “ive been applying to your store” and i was like “just first things first tell them you have an open schedule thats their #1 thing” and like 2 days later i saw her and she was like yeah just did my interview, and then she was hired and everyone was like “that’s milo’s friend” and we were like we don’t actually know each other we just met the one time!! and anyways everybody pronounced her name wrong like “kī-ree” or just Kī or Kee but i knew to pronounce it keer-ee-ay because my mom was a catholic choir director so if someones name is from a latin hymn i’ve got it, and i’ve also gone to red robin with nuns like four times and baked cookies in the basement with another sister. thats about the most fun i got to have with catholicism, the end

N3: Is there anything they absolutely can’t believe people do?

There are many moral things, but on a lighter and saucier note, many of Hiravias’ sex stories elicit an “oh gods no why would you” reaction. Also Durance’s comments in the Salty Mast and the resulting implication that there might be someone, somewhere, who has slept with him for any reason, money or no.

N4: What is the most embarrassing thing they’ve done?

Swimming naked at Osa Channel didn’t bother her at the time, but bringing Tekēhu along was probably a mistake because now he (and sometimes Rekke too) won’t stop teasing her about it and making it embarrassing retroactively. Noora is also one of those unfortunates among us with an inner highlights reel of Every Damn Time You Put Your Foot In It

N5: Have they done anything they thought they’d never do?

There’s been a few moral quandaries in her travels that have led to her doing things she’d previously thought completely off the table, in the name of the least worst result. One is messing with people’s minds/mind control: not long after declaring firmly to Grieving Mother that she’d never resort to anything like GM’s mind control to protect the Hollowborn, she finds herself calling upon GM to wipe Aelys Harond’s memories to save her from the Skaen cult and her uncle both. It may be the only way that Aelys survives the situation, and it may not be exactly the same, but the uncomfortable irony does not miss Noora.

O1: Are they optimistic or pessimistic?

In the beginning PoE she’s very optimistic, has an idealism that almost borders on naivete at times. It’s backed up by determination - “I will make it work” rather than “I’m sure it will all work out” - but there are times when she does have to grapple with the problems of the right thing not always working out for you. By Deadfire, she’s gotten quite a bit more disillusioned/jaded, although the determination to get the best damn outcome she can is still there.

O2: Are they openly optimistic, throwing it on others?

She is very encouraging to others, friends and acquaintances alike. She’s got enough tact not to be overbearing/pushy with it, at least. Poor Pallegina does get the raw end of it, unfortunately, on her PoE1 quest - “Yes, you should absolutely go with your heart and do what you think is right, even if it’s against your orders!” well, we all know how that turned out, whoops

O3: Are they good at giving advice?

She’s pretty good (except, uh, for the above incident). She’s particularly good at subtly getting people to articulate/figure out what they want, and what they think is the right thing for them to do. She’s also a ride-or-die supportive friend so that definitely helps.

O4: Is there anyone in their life that throws optimism on them?

In PoE1 it’s Kana, who remains very positive and boisterous and looking forward to the future even as Noora’s own optimism starts to suffer. In Deadfire it’s Rekke, whose enthusiasm and whole-hearted affection for her despite being thrust into a strange world he barely understands is honestly very uplifting.

O5: Were they always optimistic?

As a kid she’d always been pretty energetic and forward-facing, and being raised in a loving and supportive environment helped, even if extenuating circumstances were harsh.

Sometimes. If the rules are fine, it’s usually less trouble to work within them; if they’re shit, then fuck’em. Neutral Good, baby.

R2: Would they be a strict or laid-back parent?

A very laid-back parent, taking cues from her own family situation. Kids had to learn how to stand on their own pretty early in the Living Lands, and parenting was shared by the adults of the clan, so as a(n adoptive) parent her kid would be surrounded by a bunch of aunties and uncles from her social group lmao

R3: Have they ever been consequenced for breaking a rule?

She pissed off the adra dragon when, deciding that despite her genuine wish that she could help her get free she couldn’t do it at the cost of another’s life, she went behind her back and warned Falanroed, ending up having to fight the beast. She’s also pissed off the RDC and Furrante at times for similar reasons (moral rejection of the task they thought they’d hired her to do) and I anticipate more of the same in the future lmao

R4: Have they broken any rules they now regret breaking?

She definitely regrets encouraging Pallegina to break the rules since it turned out so bad for her friend. Not that she specifically wishes she encouraged Pallegina to follow them, since that would have its own bad repercussions, but she wishes that at least she’d thought about it more carefully, then maybe she could’ve done something better.

R5: Do they find any rules they/others follow absolutely ridiculous?

She was raised by political exiles from the White That Wends, so she is very much in the same camp as Ydwin re. trusting the priests to tell you what to do to the point where you rely solely on them to tell you societal values is a bad thing, actually. The idea that the gods are owed any obedience or devotion simply for being gods is one she found rather obnoxious even before finding out what assholes they are. She’s also not a big fan of tradition for tradition’s sake; she can appreciate its importance to people but doesn’t think it should get in the way of improvement. Also, the entirety of Engwith’s inquisition.

It’s been an interesting experience watching Dana grow throughout the years. Also nice flip by Nattie off of Dana’s headscissors takedown.

Love to see Dana and Mandy matching colors. Tag teams matching gear is my jam. Next is a theme song/name.

Lovely delayed double suplex by Dandy.

Small mistake in Mandy nearly falling over, but I mostly want to compliment the slide her boots did against the mat lmao. That was probably unintended, but looked super smooth.

I actually like Mandy now that she’s not imitating a stripper, but I’d really appreciate it if she could learn new trash talk that isn’t just, “who do you think you are,” repeated ad nauseam.

I don’t watch Main Event, but they should consider having Mandy and Dana wrestle more on there if they don’t already. Those are 2 that can use the consistent practice.

There’s so many minor things Natalya does to keep matches together with greener women. She deserves more respect.

Man these women work incredibly well together. Asuka, Nattie, Dana, Lana, Mandy... so cohesive. Loved that entire ending sequence from the moment Lana and Asuka tagged in. Lana has really increased her speed as well.

I am here to dole out positive praise for the blondes that nobody gives any credit to. Remembering where Dana was in 2016, Lana was in 2017, or even Mandy was in 2018, and seeing them all now? They get my applause. The midcard on Raw is entertaining, sue me. Fun match.

Ruby getting rekt. What Riott Squad need is a good showing. Not to be damn near demolished. I doubt anyone actually expected them to win this match, but come on.

At least Shayna sold the tornado ddt well.

Meh could’ve been a better showing for RS. Kind of disappointing. Liv didn’t even use any offense to break the Kirifuda Clutch, just yelled dramatically af. Tears galore.

Storytime. Becky Lynch has named 2 people as potential break out stars that could reach (close to) the heights she has reached. Sonya Deville was one, whom I believe Becky was right on the money with, and Toni Storm was the other. Now I don’t see whatever the hell Becky sees in Toni, but damn it if she was right about Sonya, I want her to be right about Toni as well. So I hope this heel turn actually brings the fire, decent acting, and passable promos from her.

Toni has a swagger you can’t teach; she has an aura and confidence to her. There are just some pieces that have been missing. We’ll see though, I’ll give her a clean slate to win me over.

I kind of like that there’s an unspoken agreement between Raquel and Dakota that Dakota is the star who should win the title, with no lingering feelings of animosity or resentment between them.

Alright real talk, why did Sasha get a title shot here? Why would Bayley give it to her without a struggle when she damn well knows Sasha could easily be the one to take it from her? When was it even accepted by Bayley?

Tbh I kind of hate this feud unless they’re in the same room/arena together. They work magic together, truly, but all of the inbetween stuff was garbage.

Love how Sasha just wants to beat the crap out of Bayley. Solid stuff.

See, cool, Sasha and Becky’s hiac match was set up with a chair, too... cept they had a great match for 15 mins and then brawled all over the arena. This could’ve all been set up SO much better. Then again tbf, it doesn’t even make sense for Bayley to accept this match with her to begin with, so I get the intentional dq as quickly as possibly on Bayley’s behalf. Would’ve been better if a gm had set this match up instead.

nah like.. we had been managing with a general manager and 3 assistant managers even though we really need 4 so as not to overwork anyone. we recently hired a new one from a corporate arbys (we’re franchised) and two just quit. like i mentioned, theyre not coming back even though the original plan was that their new jobs would be only temporary (6 weeks). sooooo now we have a general manager who only works weekday day shifts, one assistant manager who is relatively new (she had been working at this place for a while but was promoted to manager 6ish months ago) and another who is brand new but still has some experience. they said theyre looking to promote from within initially, but they might have to hire outside people if no suitable potential manager is picked. id love to get manager pay and its not like managers do anything hard so id be WILLING to be a manager..like the whole reason why i got trained on backline was because we have such a big turnover rate with backline people since it fucking SUCKS and i was wanting to be helpful and flexible. so like. thats what i offerred. but one assistant manager was like “lmao all youd do is swear at the customers” and im like bitch when have i ever?? i talk shit about them all the time but ive only sworn IN FRONT OF a customer twice and neither time was it directed at them. but i mean im sitting on a small handful of customer complaints so its not like the gm would even consider me probably. idk dude. i can be nice if you pay me to be nice. but i get paid to do food and do it fast……….so

but yeah literallyyyyyyyyy i have no idea how people can be so??? inconsiderate???? and they dont??? care??? im learning that my contant frustration with people in my personal interactions is due to a disconnect between what i value in  expectations and what actually happens. like. when i go somewhere i already KNOW what i want, so i say it quickly and competently. i preface a lot of my interactions with people im requesting food or services from with “i’m sorry but…”. i phrase things as “could i get” as opposed to “get me” or “i want” which sound HELLA rude tbh. id always have my money ready at the window or the register, im always trying to pay attention and not miss anything or just….be rude in any way bc i know fast food fucking sucks. i know some of the people i interact with probably hate their job as much as i do and i want to be the smallest burden i can be. and it seems like nearly no one else has these same values???? and i dont understand how people can just??? be? so? inconsiderate?

also yes bitch im the queen of passive aggression. literally the night before i was working a short shift and my friend was closing frontline and this bitch was closing drivethrough. i just got the okay to clock out and i was like “bye! have a beautiful night! just know that i love you so much and ive everything ive ever said has always been fake until this point! never meant anything ive ever said until now especially if your name starts with k or ends with ristin (drivethrough girl/the one whos being so difficult is named kristin) but just know that i love you!” and basically being really dramatic and extra as satire.

i guess for context the whole reason she decided to be mad at me was the other night when she was drunk and was like “do you even likeeeeeee meeee i feel like you hateeeee meeee wahh wahh wahhhh” even though im like…..yes bitch i enjoy your company? i joke/use hyperbole/satire/irony/whatever a lot but like occasionally id be like “ey yo you know its all jokes right u know i love u right” just to ensure that she knows but she fucking. ignores it all. i feel like she so desperately WANTS me to hate her and tbh i got fucking sick and tired of hearing her complain all the time about this shit! i fucking hate repeating myself! so sure. if you want me to hate you so fucking much there. i hate you. i fucking hate you so fucking much. like is that what you want to hear? is that validating? are you fucking happy?

second guy ive had a longish history with. started talking to him at the beginning of last fall semester and we hooked up kinda regularly for about a month. things fell apart, we both understood that we wouldn’t be good dating wise but still enjoyed meaningless cuddles. whatever. it got to a point where he would only hit me up like once every month and a half or so and towards like january-ish he hits me up again. so im like nice cool lets chill. im getting ready for this but my phone is in the other room. while im doing this he drove by my place to pick me up (since he was on his way back from nashville), didnt get a response to an “im here” text (bc i was busy and tbh not expecting him to do that), and left. he lives within like walking distance tho so im like “?? sorry i was busy are you still out or should i walk over?“ and he texts me like “sorry hold up a thing just happened” and im like…….okay. so im just.. waiting around for him. periodically texting like “hey are we good for tonight and whats going on?” because like there was some drama with his friend? hes like.. apologizing and shit but this goes on for an hour. I don’t understand why people think you can stay good friend after you confessed to your childhood friend/ best friend although I do respect their opinion. I did found myself in a similar situation and it’s kind of hard to not be awkward when you reject their feelings. Well it’s true you both have to move on but in reality you don’t know how much time it will take for his/her feelings to “disappear”.

And while time flies it becomes harder to break the awkwardness and even if you finally did the friendship will never be as deep as before cause you will be too conscious of each other. However in KH and Ara case I agree, it seems to me he wants to make Ara reacts and shake her a bit. Also I feel like the girl in the last panel (I forgot her name) will play a role to trigger Ara feelings with jealousy. Sorry for my English snd thank you for the translation !

i actually had a moment in high school where this guy and i were this close to dating because we both said we liked each other but i ended up rejecting him because i realized i was rushing into it way too quickly lol… but LO AND BEHOLD we’re still really good friends 5+ years later and keep in contact everyday LMAO so it is possible,,, although i can’t say it’s the same as ara and KH since we only knew each other for like…. a few months when i rejected him compared to ara and KH knowing each other for 15 years >.> 

i do think it’s a lot more difficult to salvage a long-term friendship if there’s a confession/rejection, but i think it also depends on the people and how they take the situation to see if it’s possible to stay friends afterwards haha
