Why does Crowley have the Maltese Falcon?
My head cannon is that the 1941 Church/Magic Show/Zombie evening (date??) ended badly and Crowley did a geographic to Hollywood where he worked on the film (it would have been in production in 1941) and kept a souvenir.

This beautiful outfit, designed by Earl Luick for the 1931 version of The Maltese Falcon was worn by Thelma Todd as Iva Archer. It was worn again that same year on an extra in The Reckless Hour.

Peter Lorre Maltese Falcon Paper Doll
...well, it's nice to have even if dear Peter doesn't quite look as he should, to say nothing of the other two. From the Dover Movie Mobsters Paper Dolls book by Tom Tierney.
We need to make paper dolls of the utmost accuracy! ;)
