Imagine the Little Mermaid, but Geno is the mermaid and Mario is the prince. And Smithy is the sea sorcerer.

Geno could not stop thinking about him.

Ever since he first saw the prince, the one they call Mario, he felt so enamored by him. His heart skipped a beat every moment he found himself thinking about Mario.

'No, Geno,' He would tell himself. 'You have responsibilities now. A responsibility to guard the ocean. You can't be swayed by emotion now more than ever.'

Unfortunately, this ordeal had not gone unnoticed. From within the shadows, the sea sorcerer Smithy wickedly grinned. Finally, there's his chance to get rid of one of the prized guardians for good.

Disguising himself as a kindly old merfolk, Smithy approached the guardian.

"You seem troubled, young sir," Smithy began, fake sympathy in his voice.

"Oh, no, not at all, sir," Geno replied hastily. "I was just guarding the sea and wondering about how to protect it properly, is all."

"Ah, don't lie," Smithy shook his head. "You yearn for the world above. You yearn to see what it is like up there. You yearn... for him. No?"

Geno swam back, startled. How did this old mer know?

"Rest assured, I mean you no harm, my boy," Smithy grinned. "In fact, I can give you exactly what you want." He held out a red orb. "This can make you human and be with the one you want so much."

Geno stiffened, looking at the red orb. He couldn't fall into its thrall, he couldn't. On the other hand, it was so tempting. Geno felt his thoughts wash away. He distantly felt his arm reach for the orb...

Suddenly, he felt a hand grab him and suddenly, he was above the water. He gasped as if he was doused in cold water.

"There-a," A kind voice caught his attention. "You-a okay?"

"Huh," Geno turned and saw Mario's relieved face. "Ah, Ma- I mean..." He looked around. "How did I get up here...?"

"One-a of your friends told-a me," Mario said, nodding to a starfish, who waved. "I've met-a this one before. He-a tried to pull-a the same stunt on-a me."

"Oh..." Geno looked down. "I see."

"Come on-a," Mario motioned to the shore. "I-a think you-a need some time to relax. And-a maybe..." He rubbed the back of his head, blushing. "We-a can get to-a know each other."

Geno bashfully smiled. "Okay."

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Eric Seaver is based on Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid. He is a 30 year old human, a rental boat captain, and uses he/him pronouns. He has no powers. Eric is portrayed by Charles Melton and he is taken.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

On the outside looking in one wouldn't assume that Eric Seaver was a prince. He hadn't any interest in his royal duties or extravagant parties. He much preferred being out on the open sea and sailing with his fellow crew. Which became a problem when he entered adult hood. His parents wanted him to settle down and get married because he was their only heir to the throne. Of course Eric pushed this responsibility off for as long as he could muster. He didn't want to be tied down to land and a marriage when he still had so much of the continent to explore. Promising his parents when he'd return home from his trip abroad he'd start looking for a partner. However what he didn't plan was the night he set off to sea was a storm that came swirling across the waves and ravaging his ship. Only a few members of his crew alongside Sir Grimsby and his dog had survived. Eric wasn't sure how he lived to tell the tale--it all felt like a dream really. He remembered hearing a voice but Grimsby had told him it was probably a hallucination being so close to deaths grip. Eric didn't believe that. He had a new purpose; to find this girl. It was better than sitting around and letting the guilt weigh him down about the rest of his crew that had met davy jones fate. Feeling like it was his fault. His parents were just happy their only son was seemingly ready to take on royal duties. The search seemed useless, he had almost been on the brink of giving up. Searching the beach endlessly day and night. Until a siren on the beach was calling to him. That melody was the same as the one he heard on the day he was saved. He followed the voice losing all control as his mind was only focused on the lullaby that lured him in. Finding a woman on the beach singing in a purple gown and a glowing seashell necklace. The closer he got the more his vision blurred until everything went black and his body crashed into the sand. When Eric awoke he was no longer near the palace by the sea. Instead he was in a town called Evermore. His memories were foggy. Some things were clear as a bell, like his love for the ocean and adventure. But the maiden who has once saved him had been long forgotten. Eric tried to make most of this new life, using what money was left in his pockets to buy a boat on the river. He is content for now, but for the first time in his life every fiber of his being is fighting to find a way back home.

❀ Leota Tombs: Eric wasn't really a believer of the supernatural or the mystical but he can't help but to feel Leota is his only hope. That maybe she can help him repair the hole in his memories. ❀ Ma Raon: He's run into her a few times in town, something about her is so otherworldly that Eric can't help but to strike up a conversation with her every time he see's her out and about. ❀ Christopher Robin: Christopher was the first person to stumble upon in Evermore when Eric was nothing more than a drunken mess. He's quickly become a father figure, a home away from home. Eric really looks up to the man.

I dug these ladies out from my storage unit and decided to make a comeback. due to The Little Mermaid live film been going on. Except it’s not about Peter Pan on this one, but it’s like a time loop though. Played this last time back when I grabbed a pre-owned copy of this, to be sure if the disc is in great condition. 

I officially completed the game, took me few hours to wipe the floor with these exquisite duo mermaids. Without spoiling it, it felt like a recap before the actual show start, I think you’ll know it when you dive a bit deeper in the campaign. If you watched Little Mermaid before that is. Generally speaking, the cutscenes is exactly been taken from the film. Yes, this game is based on the film. Let’s bring in the boy who fly and never grew up once more.. Peter Pan PS1 cutscenes is in it own original. I mean I don’t hate it, I love it, I don’t mind it. As a KH fan or something. The game is 3D and 2D Platform Style, except they swim in water, like they fly. Of course, Peter Pan fly on the sky. There’s few levels that feature lands. This one is pretty chilling, unlike that Peter Pan game. It’s a bit hardcore for teens I guess. This one I guess it meant to be for kids. As a KH fan, I digged it, I vibed with it. The beautiful OST is one in the book. Try the game out, especially for the KH fans. Go get it.

From the start of time there have been stories told by sailors about beasts and monsters that lurked below the cold ocean waves. Creatures that were always watching and waiting for the prefect opportunity to lure you in and drag you below the depths to your death. Freddie was one of those beings; a siren to be precise. He is part of the dark abyss, tricking people off of their boats and the safety of the shore with their appearance and the sounds of their voices. They could be cruel, vile, and every person they brought below the surface added to their supernatural lifespan. Eventually, Freddie and his brother ran into the sea witch. Everyone who called the ocean their home had heard tale of the sea witch; a beautiful woman with all the power in the seven seas. They fell in with her easily, glad to be at her beck and call if it meant being a part of something more powerful than they alone could ever be. Now they’re spending time in Prentiss, boots on the ground to gather any information they can for her. The grind never stops.

Freddie is: slick, sleazy, sarcastic, trickster, manipulative, intelligent

Ariel Triton: The main focus of the sea witch, the reason Freddie and his brother are in Prentiss and the waters surrounding it. Vanessa Zenevieva: The boss lady, the big kahuna, the scary head lady. Freddie is there to do whatever she might ask of him. Dominic Gaston: He’s very pretty. Would be a shame if he drowned one day...
