Pardon me, Archivist, but do you know where that hand-made booklet got shelved? I've entirely too many things to be worried about, all of which will go much more smoothly if I stop worrying and simply let them happen, and this seems like exactly the sort of linguistic challenge that'll thoroughly distract me. In exchange for at least a general idea of where to start looking, I can offer you a glass fishbowl containing a trio of origami koi. Don't worry, they're not alive, just pretending to be.
You'd have to as the librarians! The Library has a habit of reshuffling its contents as it sees fit, so once a book has been returned to the shelves only they can tell you where it might be. If it's ended up somewhere very far afield or perilous to reach, they may send a Page with you, as a guide for the journey.

The Likely family is so tragic because it's so clear that they are slaves to their inherent nature. Remember when Scam's alignment was changed and he literally became a different person? Or the fact that The Library literally killed himself the moment he destroyed a book? Hermie saying he'd felt his whole life the need to pull off some grand scam, even long before he knew who his real father was, and that he felt that his adopted parents could never truly connect to him and his deep desire is likely a result of his Likely nature. And when he failed to do so, he was left with this emptiness, this void that he felt he could only fill with blood, rage, and revenge. But oddly enough, that gives me hope. He failed in his scam, and though he's clearly been left badly damaged and suicidal, he hasn't gone through with it yet, like his — cousin? uncle? — The Library. Probably because he's only half Likely, he's also half demon. And the fact that he immediately pivots to violence is probably an indication of that. What this means for the future, I have no idea. Interesting to think about though.
