“We have a responsibility to set out to discover what we are made for, to discover our life’s work, to discover what we are called to do. And after we discover that, we should set out to do it with all the strength and all of the power that we can muster.”

DETACHMENT? LETTING GO?
Tumblr media
No! You don't need to let go in order to manifest.
Detachment is something that happens naturally. When you accept the fact that you and your desire are ONE, you let go of your desperation to crave validation from your 3D, and that's when you exactly detach.
If you want to practice detachment, then`
- don't take things personally
- see yourself as the prize
- learn how to say NO to "undesirable circumstances" and even people and learn how to say YES to yourself
- mentally be in the knowing/accept the fact that you and your desire are ONE and there is no separation
Good luck !

We humans like to believe that we are consistent and mature and that we have reasonable control over our lives. We make decisions based on rational consideration on what will benefit us the most. We have free will. We know who we are, more or less. But in one particular aspect of life, these self-opinions are all easily shattered -- when we fall in love.

If you come across any special trait of meanness or stupidity... You must be careful not to let it annoy or distress you, but to look upon it merely as an addition to your knowledge--- a new fact to be considered in studying the character of humanity. Your attitude towards it will be that of the mineralogist who stumbles upon very characteristic specimen of a mineral.
-Arthur Schopenhauer

“Learning requires an admission that we don’t know things and need to improve. Some feel too insecure to admit this, so their ideas become set and their skills stagnate. They cover this up with an air of certainty and strong opinions, or moral superiority, but the underlying insecurity cannot be shaken.”

So I am watching this video about the laws of human nature. I am on number one “master your emotional self” and I wanted to note that people have been running off of instinct their entire lives based on environmental factors, like their households, neighborhood, schools, and even country. That being said instinct is all based on the individual. They also mentioned how emotions are often translated wrong in our brains because trying to associate words and language with emotions is actually harder than we think. Sometimes anger could just be you being uncomfortable. When really delving into it, it makes sense.

“In anything, it is a mistake to think one can perform an action or behave in a certain way once and no more. (The mistake of those who say: “Let us slave away and save every penny till we are thirty, then we will enjoy ourselves.” At thirty they will have a bent for avarice and hard work, and will never enjoy themselves any more . . .) What one does, one will do again, indeed has probably already done in the distant past. The agonizing thing in life is that it is our own decisions that throw us into this rut, under the wheels that crush us. (The truth is that, even before making those decisions, we were going in that direction.) A decision, an action, are infallible omens of what we shall do another time, not for any vague, mystic, astrological reason but because they result from an automatic reaction that will repeat itself.
—Cesare Pavese”

I’ve been given pieces of literature where it will teach me the ways of detachment and power.
If it fails, blame those who didn’t care in the first place, yet used me for comfort or whatever it was they gained from me *without remorse*.
If it works, you will not see the same me again.
I call it a win-win!
Thanks 朋友 sorry you had to experience my torment, I appreciate it though. I owe you one.
