Lady Gotham raises Danny as a single mother

Danny gets de-aged and Clockwork sends him to live with his Daughter, Lady Gotham.

You would expect Lady Gotham to look very Gothic. Like a noble lady from the 1600′s or a ghostly woman in a large veil. Maybe even just a mass of writhing shadows?

But no, Lady Gotham looks like your stereotypical Single Mother at all times, cause she always has to keep her Bat-Kids safe like the rambunctious children they are, and it’s a 24/7 job

She basically has the house-mom look, frizzy hair tied up in a ponytail, a stained apron from making dinner, always looks tired but always has time to indulge her kids games, all that

After she takes in Danny, she decides to create herself a Civilain Identity so she can raise him as both a Human and as a Ghost. And raising the future High King has it's side effects, for example he is constantly producing excess Ectoplasm which empowers her enough to maintain a Corporeal form for much longer than she could before.

Now she can just live in her City, and actually Interact with her citizens like she never could before!

She starts helping out more, dispelling some of the more Nasty curses placed on her City and making people feel more safe than before.

She gives packed lunches to homeless kids, every day without fail, and they are always filled with that kids favorite snacks alongskde some healthy foods. None of her children are going to go hungry on her watch!

She donates to the local homeless shelters, and gives them some Good Luck charms so they experience less problems. She needs to teach her kids good morals after all!

She starts a Rooftop Garden on her apartment Building, handing out the produce to anybody who asks to borrow some. Somehow she never runs out no matter how much they ask for. It's good manners to treat your neighbors with respect! A cup of sugar and all that!

She embodies the "Neighboorhood Mom" stereotype perfectly, just across the entire city instead.

And the Batfam don't even notice for a few months! She isn't doing anything big, just being a good Samaritan, and a good mom.

Then, one day, Red Hood shows up and tells everybody that he was kidnapped by a Lady who kept saying stuff like "We need to get that dirty ecto sorted out, we are long overdue for a check up!"

And now he feels perfectly fine. No more green vision, no more violent tendencies, he's just not as angry about that anymore.

Now the Batfam are trying to find thus lady, but it's kind of hard since all Jason could give for a description is "She looked like a Stereotypical Single Mom. That's all I can remember about her appearance."

The room fell silent, Steph wasn't expecting the pain filled look they were giving her. The question repeated itself in her head a couple of times as her mind searched for a way to save the situation.

"I see you don't have an answer." The silence was still palpable in the room as well as the cold she felt when she saw those beautiful blue eyes lose their shine. "I should have known it was too good to be true, tell bru… Mr. Wayne that if he wanted to know about the projects so much, he could come ask for them himself instead of using a sugar trap." Steph tried to say something before an alert went off on Danny's phone, at which point she saw the panic that took over his eyes, before he ran to an adjacent hallway that led to a room, in which she was not. I had had the opportunity to enter. As she followed him she could see how Danny took a series of vials and several injections. She hesitated a moment before walking through the half-open door. At that moment she saw how he proceeded to apply several of the injections to a girl of about 5 or 6 years old. Steph knew just by seeing her that she was Danny's daughter. and some of the things they discovered while investigating the Nightingale medical company made a lot of sense.

Jazz knew something was different about her. She could control plants to some degree almost like Poison Ivy but not as powerful. She was finally on her way to getting her degree in Gotham with her little brother whom was also adopted by her side. Of course this was when things get messy as Jazz gets caught during a rouge attack and comes face to face with Poison Ivy. Jazz doesn’t know how but Poison Ivy is her birth mom, of course Ivy and her girlfriend Harley bring Jazz and Danny back to their place and surprise Harley is Danny’s birth mom but she refuses to reveal who the dad is. Jazz on the other hand gets told she technically doesn’t have a dad and her biology is closer to that of a plants.

prompt: Harley kidnaps you out of the adoption facility

Harley had been pestering her Mr. J for what felt like forever about how she wanted a child and no matter how many times he assured her that whatever she wants she gets, this was something that wasn’t happening fast enough for her liking. With that being said she had been looking for other ways to cope. Apparently well known businesses didn’t trust her at all enough to be hired as a babysitter or nanny. So as much as she didn’t want it to come to this she’d turned to kidnapping.

She’d walked into a facility and somehow managed to sneak past all security and front lobby employees to where the babies and children were. In a matter of seconds she glanced past each and every kid until her eyes landed on you, wandering around in a little batman onesie.

“Awww look at this oneee” she said walking over and picking you up. You looked at her face and smiled and immediately her decision was made. You were going to be hers. No matter what anyone had to say about it. Speaking of people who had something to say about it, the joker was not immediately fond of it once she returned home.

“Look puddin’ I caught batsy” She giggled holding you out towards him. He gave you a once over glance and asked “when will you return it?” to her disappointment. “I’m not…She’s mine and I want you to like her.” she explained. Neither could see it happening then but eventually you would grow on the philophobic. A task only Harley was able to previously accomplish now proven to be done by two. A slightly twisted perfect family would soon be complete but not without some challenges…

Oh, that's definitely a canon thing. Jason has always cared deeply about children and taken great efforts to protect them. Hell, the first comic he showed up in as Red Hood showed him taking control of Gotham's drug dealers and telling them that if they dealed to kids, they'd be swiftly and painfully murdered.

It can be assumed that the reason Jason's so passionate about protecting children and teenagers is because he himself had a crappy childhood. He had to take care of his drug addict mom, then lived on the streets, and then became a child soldier who died before his sixteenth birthday. Jason knows what it's like to have your childhood taken away, so he does what he can to protect the kids of Gotham. It’s like what Selina said about Bruce that one time: “When you take away the cape and the cowl and the capital ‘T’ in ‘The Batman’...he’s all about protecting the innocent.” Bruce and Jason have this in common.

Jason was the only person who always believed in Duela and genuinely tried to help her, even when she screwed up or seemed "unfixable". No matter how many times she stumbled, he never gave up on her because he has personal experience with needing second, third, and fourth chances. And it worked in the end; Duela gave up the life and went back home to try being a normal girl again.

Okay, so, silly thought, but taking the idea of Duela Dent as Jason's adoptive daughter...Damian has next to no respect for Jason. So, I'm imagining Damian hearing about this, and immediately tracking Duela down for training.

He's an uncle now, and the Joker has already used Duela to hurt Jason once, so it's time for him to take an interest in his niece's wellbeing and education.

Duela's down to learn how to punch things better, and it's fun to mess with the kid anyway, so she just rolls with it.

Dick follows with popcorn and some books on teaching.
