What if Talion dies anyway after Zog saves him because he can't survive without a ring and Zog doesn't medicate him quickly enough. He doesn't mind about arriving too late, but this time it'll require some extra skill to resurrect Talion the same as he was.

Talion comes back, but he's not the same: his skin is pale and black veins weave through it, around his eyes, on his arms and hands, on hia torso. Fire-lit eyes snap open and that's the only thing that tells both of them that the resurrection was successful. Sort of. No intake of breath, no coughs, nothing.

Zog slid Isildur's ring on Talion's finger while he was unconscious, because he'd be useless without powers; and because he can blame the ring when Talion asks what has made him into a monster.

Crazy Owl House fan theory: the Hunter we met during "Seperate Tides" is NOT the Hunter we finish the series with. There is a reason this Hunter/Golden Guard-A is hunting one of the critical ingredients (Selkidomus) for a Gravewalker. I think this is the version of Hunter/Golden Guard we see Darius mourning. I think the very stark change in behavior is part of this. Golden Guard-A is brash, confident... to the point of arrogance and underestimating his enemies. This does not seem to be anything remotely resembling the abused, unsure Hunter we see throughout the rest of the series. The Hunter we meet next, is the replacement and the one we continue with for the rest for the series and we would have been given this info... again had there been the cancellation. May also have been the infamous hand of Standards and Practices too.

The princess had been in the middle of a meeting with the council when Champsworth had discreetly shuffled in. She felt him enter the room, leaned over when he landed at her side so he could whisper the news he had brought into her ear. His quiet entry did little to disrupt the meeting because the minute she heard, she was up on her feet in the middle of the Agriculture Minister's report.

She didn't wait to explain, turning on her heel and dashing out the room as Champsworth was left to deal with the aftermath. It didn't matter, though, not right now. She kicked off her heels in the middle of the hall to run faster towards her destination. The hallways she spent her entire life walking suddenly seemed so much longer than she remembered.

Peach finally got to the great hall, nearly going over the railing as she arrived at the top of the stairs, wildly searching for him. Every single thing aside from her rapid heartbeat seemed to stop the moment she spotted him. Her chest heaved with her heavy breath, but she mustered up a last burst of energy to dash down the stairs.

❛ You're back ! ❜ Peach didn't even get to the last step. Reaching out with open arms, the princess practically soared. ❛ Oh ! You're back ! ❜ She gasped into the crook of his neck, gripping him close.

If Takra was in SoW

Continuation of this post.

Takra isn’t confrontational by nature. They are a bard by trade but they are a thief as well. An uruk bumps into Talion in his own fortress, next thing he knows he’s missing his Mirian or a weapon is missing a decorative piece, a jewel, some gold trimming, etc…

It wasn’t until Talion met Hûra that he started to look a little closer at the faces that surrounded him.

He didn’t know immediately that Takra was Hûra’s blood brother, but he did know that he wanted to cast out and shame the little bard that dared to steal from him in his own fort.

Upon Initial Confrontation:

“What?! You’re gonna harass a bard? C’mon, Gravewalker! Won’t it be nicer to just not?!”

When Talion continues to engage in violence: “Oi! I’m a bard, not a pacifist! I ain’t scared of you, manflesh!”

Not being a strong fighter, Takra is agile and uses their small size to their advantage: “You ain’t gonna hit me! Just piss off already!”

When Talion refuses to give up: “Alright- FUCK THIS-!” *kicks him between the legs and vanishes before he recovers.”

Takra focuses on using their words over basic violence. They aren’t the strongest uruk, not like their blood brother, Hûra.

Stealing and kicking the Gravewalker in the dick was already enough to get them in serious trouble. His learning the little bard shared a blood bond with a certain shaman painted a lovely target on their back that Celebrimbor and Talion both intended to feather with copious amounts of arrows.

Subsequent Encounters

Nervous: “Ha… W-What, can’t get enough of me, Tark?”

“I heard someone kicked your arse the other day! So salty over it ya just have to take it out on a bloke half your size?!”

After he hears Talion mention Hûra’s name: “O-Oh… S-So you're one of those. Those that are weak ‘n go after blood bonds!”

“You bastard! Don’t you know you ain’t gotta be it like this?!” In reference to his branding of uruks.

Terrified as they are cornered: “M-My brother won’t let you get me, you know?! H-He’ll kill you again!”

Though Takra isn’t a warrior by trade, they are an Uruk and one that can and will defend themself and those they have bonds with. That one uruk being their blood brother, Hûra.

Blood Brother Revenge

Upon tackling Talion from behind: “OI! That’s MY blood brother!”

Upon grabbing Talion’s arm: “Don’t you fucking DARE-!“

“Leave my khazdûrz alone you wretch!”

“You will AWAYS be a coward! In life AND in death!”

Upon Talion’s Death

Should Takra kill him: “Don’t underestimate a bard in Mordor, Gravewalker!”

Should Takra kill him after Hûra has been attacked: “I should cut your tongue from you mouth for speaking his name, scum!”

Should Takra kill him after Hûra is attacked: “You leave my family alone…”

Takra doesn’t want to rely on Hûra’s strength alone. They also can’t seem to stay out of trouble for long.

The Gravewalker has a vendetta against them both and he doesn’t plan on letting up anytime soon. Not until Talion grows weary of death and the stomach churning fear that is on both of those Uruks’s face’s whenever they face him down.

Takra is more about avoiding conflict than they are actively engaging in it, though when they do attack, they fight like a feral little bastard: Cautious, Agile, Charge Attack, Poison Cloud, Rapid Attack, Fast Runner, Terrified of Spiders

How can Zog come back after his corpse was burnt to ashes by Carnan?

That's simple. At some point during the fight, seeing that Talion had to upper-hand, Zog took advantage of the caos and had a decoy take his place. The defeat rankles him A LOT (he's never going to get over it), but at least he's alive and Carnan is now out of the way.

About four years ago, I first came up with a homebrew horror setting that I wanted to expand upon, and one of the first creatures I made for it were the Gravewalkers. These equine beasts were my pride and joy for the setting, originally made to show the far-reaching consequences of the murder of the god of death. Since then, these creatures have become more than that, and I’m so proud of the progress my art made in the four years since I first shared them.

I’ve expanded a bit more on what they actually are, and two good friends of mine even made a video involving them that still remains one of my favorite things ever. Someday, I have to do even more with them, but we’ll see what the future holds.
