Tl;dr my last post
I’m fucking stupid and my emotions ruin everything and I wish I were happier today but I’m not because de.pression and stupid thoughts
There is the possibility that they use that music video TO announce the album release, which is likely how it’s gonna go, considering that Brian said that the album announcement is soon and music videos would lead up to the album
And thinking about it that way, about starting off with a bang, makes me feel better about it

Vernon asked how to improve GG Live shows and the first thing my heart wanted was to bring the meet and greets back. I’m sure they stopped them for a reason, but it doesn’t mean my heart still isn’t broken.
The real question is how many more events am I gonna go to only to have my heart broken like this
I’m never gonna meet them, I keep trying and trying, what am I doing wrong, what else do I have to do, I went to cons they went to, I went to their live shows, I bought VIP back when VIP MEANT a meet and greet, except apparently not for the one show I was able to go, I go to their concerts… What am I supposed to be doing??
It just hurts. I’m never gonna meet Arin, despite being *this close* like 3-4 times.
Oh and if Arin’s not possible, completely fuck any dream I ever had of meeting Barry, Ross, and Suzy, I mean that’s just absolutely impossible at this point short of me being in LA.
That feel when your dreams are hopeless and you’re in emotional pain about it

Whoo!! I just got home and all settled safe and sound from the parade today!! It was a really neat experience and I’m glad I went c:
It was cold as fuck, I dressed in layers so I was mostly warm, but fingers and toes were freezing. The crowds were gigantic, but that didn’t bother me so much, I just held on to the people I was with and we moved at our own pace
Se.pta was actually really organized and well-put together for the most part: queues for each train line, checking passes, getting everybody to the right places, and getting trains in and out as fast and as full as possible. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half but we got seats on the train (compared to standing room, and we’d been standing since 9am so my legs were absolutely killing me so I was super grateful for a seat, and in the warmth!!)
But yeah the actual event, we ended up standing at City Hall, all the buses went by with the players and people on top, everyone was cheering, everyone was happy and it was great!
The atmosphere before the actual parade was really similar to a convention actually, it was basically an enormous Eagles Con. Everybody wearing their merch, people yelling their fandom at strangers and strangers replying equally as enthusiastic, chants and call-and-response things, and everyone’s there to have fun
Some people did some dumb things mainly involving climbing anything they could (poles, trees, streetlights, cars, statues, and some sort of crane/construction vehicle thing? Basically the theme of today was what do people do in huge crowds? They climb shit!)
But yeah some people were throwing a pink ball back and forth across the street (over the barricades) and people were getting super hype when it was a good throw or a good catch (and when somebody made a shitty throw, there were dudes near me who were like “You throw like a Patriot!” And I was like oh shit sick burns
Lots of spelling Eagles, lots of “Fly, Eagles, Fly”, lots of “Fuck T.om Br.ady”, and lots of people just yelling stuff and being excited
All in all, it was an interesting cultural experience, I got to show Philly pride, and it’s history and I can say I was there!
