It’s been a while since I’ve done any Frieren musings but I’m so, so incredibly sappy and with the drop of the beautiful “children aren’t the only ones that need comfort” scene I just have the immovable headcanon in my brain that Frieren and Himmel were touchy!
Not in an odd way, and not in ways directly meaning to imply romantic intent—Frieren wouldn’t really identify that, and the last thing Himmel would ever do is take advantage of her—but I love thinking it was just second nature for them to bundle up together at a tree stump. Or for Frieren to plop her head on Himmel’s shoulder while he’s polishing his sword, or vice versa while Frieren’s sat at the bed reading a tome. Just a really cute mutual reciprocity of little gestures like that which probably helped Frieren of the present be so openly affectionate (re: headpatting everyone in her party, bundling up in blankets with Fern). let me have this ok
Why does this headline fr go weirdly kinda hard?(For context, I originally found about this even though it's atleast somewhat old and really nobody cares at this point I don't think??when I randomly remembered the fever-dream like existence of that one cartoon about a regular boy who has a feminine-presenting Superhero persona that aired on the Hub Network when that was still around so I went looking for it on Pinterest and found a random image of the protagonist with a link to a news article basically reading as this)The hashtag LGBTQIA+ specifically trans and gendernonconformist agenda is spreading:
just thinking about how devi never pursued anything with ben after her and paxton broke up and how ben never tried to sabotage/say anything about how he felt… they were both scared of smth genuine and vulnerable like god the buzz they give me
Did you know that there was a time when some media and the general public would ask why zendaya was there when she would show up to every red carpet ? It was 6 or 7 years ago now at our princess
Went from asking “What is she doing here?” to “If she’s not here, what are we doing?”
