The Bedroom, Vincent van Gogh
While he was in Arles, Van Gogh made this painting of his bedroom in the Yellow House. He prepared the room himself with simple furniture and with his own work on the wall. The bright colours were meant to express absolute ‘repose’ or ‘sleep’. Research shows that the strongly contrasting colours we see in the work today are the result of discolouration over the years. The walls and doors, for instance, were originally purple rather than blue. The apparently odd angle of the rear wall, meanwhile, is not a mistake on Van Gogh’s part – the corner really was skewed. The rules of perspective seem not to have been accurately applied throughout the painting, but this was a deliberate choice. Vincent told Theo in a letter that he had deliberately ‘flattened’ the interior and left out the shadows so that his picture would resemble a Japanese print. Van Gogh was very pleased with the painting: ‘When I saw my canvases again after my illness, what seemed to me the best was the bedroom.’ (Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam)

Vincent van Gogh - The Bedroom - 1889
Vincent van Gogh so highly esteemed his bedroom painting that he made three distinct versions: the first, now in the collection of the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam; the second, belonging to the Art Institute of Chicago, painted a year later on the same scale and almost identical; and a third, smaller canvas in the collection of the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, which he made as a gift for his mother and sister. Van Gogh conceived the first Bedroom in October 1888, a month after he moved into his “Yellow House” in Arles, France. This moment marked the first time the artist had a home of his own, and he had immediately and enthusiastically set about decorating, painting a suite of canvases to fill the walls. Completely exhausted from the effort, he spent two-and-a-half days in bed and was then inspired to create a painting of his bedroom.

I know they're not necessarily the most popular ones according to everyone but they're widely known and I'm not sure how many of us would agree on a top 9.
I may make other Van Gogh polls. I have polls about literature, art, comics etc in my pinned post.

I know they won't do this but I think it would be incredibly funny and chaotic if 6x01 has a massive time jump of like a year and we see so many jaw-dropping things like Maddie and Chimney married, Athena quitting the police force, Buck and Eddie living together and dating and then 6x02 onward is a flashback to understanding how they got here, all the way to 6x18.
