When Bender sees Leela and Fry kiss in Related to Items You've Viewed, he angrily smashed a cabbage in his hands and in this movie he draws Fry's face on a cabbage and then smashes it 'cuz he's lonely Fry's spending time with his new gf instead of him.

Fry being like "maybe I should look for love closer to home" and then turning to Leela and Amy instead of the guy who started a robot uprising because Fry didn't pay enough attention to him (selling his own child in the process) and then not only dragged an eldritch being back from another dimension to get Fry back but did the whole thing with a pirate theme to impress him. The guy whom Fry clearly missed in so called "heaven" because he immediately went behind Yvo's back to contact him. He really is the dumbest boy on earth...

I honestly forgot how fucking awful the Futurama direct-to-DVD movies were.

Bender's Big Score felt like it had five different episode plots crammed into one narrative, the tone was all over the place, and the antagonists were probably some of the lamest ever devised for the show. Despite being in the title, Bender doesn't even play that big a role in the movie. Plus they really rammed the "executive powder" joke into the ground.

Sad thing is that might have been the best of the four. I haven't actually seen Wild Green Yonder.

so it was super apocalyptic but there was some aliens that decided to control the planet and dan was like part of the resistance with me and someone else cos phil was being mind controlled by the aliens and the aliens liked phil so they decided to use him as like a vessel to spread the alien agenda.

dan got really hurt at one point but after we helped him recover he went a bit crazy with the need to save phil and the world so he somehow got a machine gun and he was trying to bait the alien controlled phil to come out of hiding but he was in some stadium cos he and a bunch of other people were watching a concert that was being put on by the aliens

phil was on the stage and dan and i come in with our guns and we’re like super badass marching through the crowd of people who we know will be free if we can free phil

and then it was like super emotional where dan was being really sappy and trying to get phils mind back and in the end the only way he could do it was to kiss him and that freed the control on him and that’s how dan and phil being in love saved the world from aliens

Trigger! Su!cide mention, attempted Su!cide, su!cide note

The rest of the crew out discussing at a bar. What's weird about that was Bender wasn't there. He wouldn't pass up a chance for alcohol yet here they were. Something was wrong and Fry knew it. So the orange haired man stayed behind with the robot back at the building of Planet Express. Zoidberg came in as Fry was thinking to himself on the couch with his head in his hands and staring at the floor.

"Something ever the matter, friend?", he asks the human but Fry shakes his head. He then speaks, "nah, it's all good-", he starts but then perks up when he sees a note on the doctors shirt. He takes it off earning a "ow" from the lobster as he woops away.

Unfolding the note, Fry reads it. His eyes grow wide as he finishes it and his hands clenched tightly on the paper. He felt his breathing slow down as his chest feels tight.

He needs to find Bender.

Now.

He rushes through the door, looking everywhere for the little robot he loved oh so much. "Bender!? Buddy, where are you!?", he yells out, looking frantically. He had no idea when Bender wrote it, if it was earlier or when they got back on earth.

It scared him to death. Bender already had comprehended suicide before in the past and nothing of it was pretty.

Soon, he managed to find the robot and his heartbeat went back to normal, he clutches at the side of his chest and pants softly, calming himself down before sitting next to the robot who was drinking beer with a bored expression. He had taken the pirate scheme off but kept it, after all, Fry did think the rude bending unit looked adorable in it.

"Bud...?", he hesitates and Bender looked up at the human with narrowed eyes but a skeptical look. Fry takes a deep breath, then he speaks, "I found the note, honey...."

A look of shame, regret and horror fell across the robots faceplate. "Meatbag, i-", but nothing else came out, what could he say?

That he got more depressed than ever when Fry already moved into another person's house and then his suicidal thoughts got worse when he found out his "protectors" didn't exist, in which they did, he just didn't know it at the time.

The area falls silent, Benders visor welling up with tears and he's trembling, usually he would refuse to be vulnerable, but Fry found the note. Found his own suicide note. The worse thing is, Bender was so close to actually making it through. He was in that booth, waiting for the blugening to happen, yet fell through the floor at the last second.

How could he tell Fry that? That he actually almost got killed? That he almost actually died!? He couldn't but he wanted to. He wanted to let it all out. He had to let it all out.

Everything was too much. It was too much. He was nothing in a too much world. Bender was nothing. The robot who called himself great and perfect and amazing all the time, thought he was nothing. Kind of ironic, wasn't it? Heh. Bender chokes out a pained laugh before he collapsed internally. It transferred into a sob and Fry instantly cradled the robot in his lap and held him close to his chest.

"Oh, baby...shh, shh, shh... it's okay, I'm right here, I'm here, right here, honey...", the human hushes his boyfriend, trying to comfort him in every possible way. He just wanted the bot to feel better. He wanted his robot to be okay.

He kisses Benders metal head and cheeks while doing everything Bender loves, rubbing Benders extendo arms up and down, tracing over his digits, doing a fucking motion to the robots cheek with his thumb. "You're safe, you're okay, I'm back, see? I'm not leaving you ever again...never...", Fry says gently.

The sobs soon died down and the robots face was buried into Fry's white T-shirt, the man had given Bender his red jacket to which he put on and hugged it around himself like one would a blanket when they're cold. Fry wouldn't leave his boyfriend again. The robot needed him more than ever. He needed him to keep his will to live. It wasn't healthy, sure, but it's the best the robot had at the moment. Fry would keep providing that.

The orange haired idiot plants more small pecks on Bender and gets up, his boyfriend in arms. Sure Bender was like 500 pounds, he was a full metal robot, but the human could carry him quite easily. Fry keeps sweet talking to the robot, knowing the jerk loved it, "let's go cuddle on the couch, okay? You're okay, we don't have to talk about that until you're ready... you're so tired, aren't you, baby boy?", the idiot asks as he chuckles and lays on the couch, the robot cuddled up against the humans side as Fry wrapped an arm around Bender, covered them up with a blanket and grabbed the remote to turn on a movie.

As they did this, Fry rubbed circles on Benders metal back, giving him more small loving kisses. Soon, a purr could be heard and the man's lips curl into a soft smile. Fry puts the remote down on the table and moves the robot slightly upwards so the bots head is near his neck, laying on his upper chest area and Fry avoided being poked in the eye by Benders antenna.

He would let Bender decide when it was time to tell everything. He wouldn't rush it. He wasn't ready. The robots visor was closed as he sleeps soundly.

"I'll take care of you, always and forever".

BWABB is the least leela-focused movie but honestly it’s kind of tough to think about it from her perspective given the events of the previous movie!

like okay. it’s actually kind of insane that leela almost gets married to someone she genuinely loves in BBS, only for him to leave her at the altar and then die in front of her revealing himself to be an alternate version of her best friend*...

(* fry’s best friend is bender obviously, but leela’s best friend is almost certainly fry, they have a special relationship way before they even date)

...and then in the very next movie, a month after everything has gone down said best friend shacks up with a girl and very quickly moves in with her, with bender making a point to compare the two of them, with fry venting to leela about how conflicted he is about moving in with colleen, thus making it clear that he’s (at the moment) not caught up in trying to chase leela, and like... she seems fine with that, she cheers him on, it’s what she asked for, but at the end of the movie she calls out how quickly fry forgot her, there’s no way this isn’t fucking her up! [”you oughta know” plays in the background]

oh and on top of that, amy (who is, in leela’s eye, the pinnacle of ideal wealth and beauty with a successful social life that leela could never achieve) gets married to the love of her life, and leela is dateless, and then amy ends up a widow and leela has to comfort her, and then leela sees her sex pest shack up with amy after all that! thus throwing a wrench into the one good romance left in her immediate life lol. 

and on top of all this, leela is the last one to hold out and actually be suspicious of yivo, and she’s right to do so but the narrative treats it as a symptom of her trust issues. and then when she finally gives in to that love, she loses it again! man! 

honestly no wonder she’s so angry at the start of the next movie. girl's got a lot on her shoulders.
