My insane Wings of Fire AU Species Masterlist, of an AU that I made in a rp four years ago! (with very bad traditional drawings i did that long ago) @castiels-destiny

Starting off with the Continent: Pontalo! I kinda just… replaced two As in Pantala with Os (listen… it was four years ago)

I just made a terrible ass map just now but it looks like a dragon curled up, the head is facing downwards towards Pyrrhia and Pantala

There are 7 main tribes that live there, the FireWings (orange), SunWings(bright yellow), MoonWings (purple), LightWings (sandy yellow thats getting overtaken by red), LightningWings (cyan), HydroWings (dark blue), BloodWings (red), who wiped out the ShapeWings and stole their land. Also, they all eat meat, or in the case of BloodWings, blood.

Also, they can all breathe fire except for HydroWings, ShapeWings (venom), and LightWings, I kinda forgot to mention that before

They can have both Kings and Queens which rule equally, unlike in the original series which has predominantly Queens.

The head is where the Kingdom of Fire resides, the FireWings live there.

FireWings have fire-proof scales, backs on fire, and intense fire breath. The rare attribute is blue fire. They are aligned to the Fire Tribe and are carnivores. Their colors typically range from red, orange, or yellow (fiery) and have fiery eyes.

Their descendants are the MudWings and SkyWings in the original series.

The second drawing is their Queen (i forgot her name) with her sick daughter i think

Near the wings of the dragon continent, the top part resides the LightWings. They are lightweight dragons with feathered wings instead of leathery, bat wings, like a bird. They also have feathery scales on their backs. They are aligned to the Light Tribe and have light powers, and are seen as mostly healers and good-willed. However, they have been nearly wiped out by the BloodWings, and most of the rest of them have fled the continent. They are omnivores.

They can range from white, light yellow, light blue, and yellow, and have yellow or blue eyes.

The LightningWings live in the bottom part of the wing, in the Kingdom of Lightning. They have long nose horns like a lightning rod, and manipulate/summon electricity/lightning. They can charge their power in lightning storms and areas with lots of electricity. They have large backspikes too, and a lightning symbol on their forehead. They are carnivores.

They are a variety of colors, blue, dark blue, grayish blue, dark/grayish purplish blue, etc. Think storm clouds. Their spikes are white with yellow highlights though. They can have blue or yellow eyes.

Their descendants are the SkyWings and sort of IceWings.

I actually have recent drawings of LightningWings and ShapeWings, in 2022 or 2023. This is Switch and Storm! They were mates.

Fun fact Storm died in front of Switch’s eyes LMFAOOO

ShapeWings (full information here) used to live in the area the Bloodwings now reside, the part of the body connected to the arm and wing. They are shapeshifters and can change forms on whatever they’ve seen, and can also camouflage and change their scale colors, like their descendants, the RainWings. They come in a variety of colors, eye colors, and spots, and are omnivores. They eat a variety of fruits but can eat meat. They are Light Tribe aligned.

Their queen, Paradox, escaped the Great ShapeWing Genocide and was the last surviving member of their species, and she vows to one day rebuild her kingdom, and hated the BloodWings for what they’ve done. However, a young BloodWing dragon, Vampire Bat or, just Bat, came to her school, and she saw that not all of them were bad.

They have now repopulated in wherever the place Paradox went to (we never named what the land was that the roleplay took place in), and will not return to Pontalo.

They are the common ancestor of the Leaf and RainWings.

Updated ShapeWing design:

SunWings are kinda related to LightWings. They have frills like frilled-neck lizards that can absorb sunlight and charge their power. They live in the Kingdom of Sun. They have a very spiky tail, like a sun. They are Light/Fire Tribe aligned. They vary from golden yellow, yellow, orange, etc. They are carnivores.

SandWings are descendants of them, also ShapeWings are related as they absorb energy from the sun too, like their descendants, RainWings and LeafWings.

I don’t have any good drawings of them.

MoonWings (full information here, the following is a summary) are the opposite of SunWings, and they have scales that can light up, like SeaWing scales. They are nocturnal, and very much ancestors of NightWings. They also have star-like dots/scales in their wings that make them look like the night sky, like NightWings. They are in the Moon Kingdom and are Shadow Tribe aligned. However, they are not necessarily evil. They range from any dark color, black, greenish/purpleish/blueish black, etc. They can have any eye color and are carnivorous.

Also they get powers when under full moons like the NightWings, one full moon either prophecy or mind-reading, two for both, three for enhanced

SeaWings are sort of descended from them as well, and they’re distantly related to the HydroWings.

Updated MoonWing Base

BloodWings (full information here) are settler dragons from another land and conquered the ShapeWings and LightWings. They are like vampires, they can turn into bats, they suck blood, have sharp, long fangs, large ears, and burn in the sun. They have a lot of spikes, a spike on their chest area (which i didnt draw, whoops), and shredder spikes on their forelegs. They range from violent dark red shades and have red eyes. They can hear very well, use dark powers, and can also fight hand-to-hand combat, because of their spikes. They are Shadow Tribe aligned.

Subspecies:

SwordWings (one of my favorites <3 they dont live on Pontalo though)

SwordWings were BloodWings that defected and vowed to stop their evil crimes, and eventually evolved into a seperate species. However, they almost got wiped out by the BloodWings when finally discovered, and the two remaining members known are the King’s children, Knight and Dauntless, brother and sister. They have armor and use weapons, but they still have BloodWing qualities. They grew out of using dark magic (some can sometimes use it) and instead rely on swords or their claws/spikes. Their colors are faded dark red, and have evolved out of their red eyes. They are carnivores and they don’t depend on blood anymore. They are Light Tribe aligned.

The two live in the land Paradox is (i dont have a name for it. we never named it anything lol)

And lastly my beloved HydroWings!

Here is the full description

They are literally just SeaWings with bigger webbed spines running down from their head to their tail, on their legs, belly, and webbed spines that form like a fish tail, and water powers. HydroWings speak a more ancient version of Aquatic, and also have more bioluminescent scales than regular SeaWings. They have the patterns in their wings royal SeaWings got from them. They live underwater, can go deep underwater, and have gills, but can also live outside of water like SeaWings. However, they can’t stay on land for too long. They eat fish, whales, etc and are Water Tribe aligned.

They range from purple (rare), blue, green, and dark or light (rare) variants of those too. They have green, purple (rare), or blue eyes too.

Any other colors I didnt mention, just think of them as SeaWings, they can have the colors SeaWings have.

Most of them have fled Pontalo or are in hiding because of the threat of the BloodWings, and a lot have been killed.

Their names are usually after shark or dolphin species! Although Paradox’s mate Torrent does not follow this naming pattern, lol.

His back story is sort of in the full HydroWing description, but I forgot to include he was the youngest HydroWing King ever at 5.

And Queen Dolphin, daughter of Queen Paradox, and Hydro-ShapeWing hybrid.

She found the hidden HydroWing palace Atlantis and found out she was a HydroWing and not just a weird SeaWing/ShapeWing hybrid.

Sometimes i think about who would play Metron in a movie. I'd love to hear from other Fourth World fans who they'd pick. My own thoughts (and images) under the cut.

A lot of suggestions I've seen online include Paul Bettany, which i assume is bc he's already played Vision in the MCU and this would be another character that is slender and technology adjacent. But imo we've seen that already, and to be totally honest i dont think he'd be the right fit. Metron has a roughness and abruptness about him, and shouldn't give off the feeling of "gentleman" that Bettany so naturally does. But i have to admit that he does have the right look.

Another suggestion I've seen is Michael Emerson, who has played several weird little guys, often with high intelligence. Im not convinced though. I think maybe he's too far on the nerdy spectrum looks-wise? He's a fantastic character actor and i know his performance would be good, but he doesn't strike me as a "god", and thats important. When we see an ensemble photo of Highfather, Orion, Lightray, Scott, Barda and Metron, he needs to look right at home. Plus, Metron does have some strength to him, he isn't just brains yknow. It's a maybe, it's a maybe.

When i first went looking up what fan casts people had in mind, i was afraid that I'd come across Tom Hiddleston, but if i recall correctly, i dont think i did? It makes me angry that he actually would not be a bad choice. Do you understand what im saying? Im annoyed. I dont want to include him in this list but i think i have to. He has the ability to give some intense looks, would be able to balance the character's personality traits (including a detached smarminess), and his popularity as an actor would make Metron a more popular character. But that's the monkey's paw curse right?idk if i could stomach the swaths of movies-only fans that he'd bring in. Also Hiddleston is already Loki in many people's eyes, and bc of that may end up being instructed to play Metron much more trickstery than he is. So even though i know it'd be an entertaining portrayal, im gonna have to pass.

So my go-to choice is Mark Strong. He definitely has the look. Like when i picture Metron in my head, Strong matches that more than any of the others. Ive seen very little of his filmography but i liked him in Kingsman and I think he'd be able to have some fun with the character. Also he isn't so popular already as to oversaturate people with his presence or have preconceived notions about the kind of character he'd portray. And i know this completely subjective but... I think this guy is just plain better looking than the others.

In conclusion, it seems the look of the actor should be slender with an angular face and preferably piercing eyes. He needs to look intelligent and serious, but as we know, he needs to be able to convey hubris and be someone we can laugh at (at Metron's expense of course). There are things i like and dislike about the casting choice for each of the actors mentioned here, but to be totally real with you I'd be fine with any of them. So for now I'll keep thinking over what the perfect cast would be, knowing we may never see Metron brought to the big screen. And i think the real takeaway is that maybe thats a good thing.

Yes! Actually Condemned used to be called Cadence which was Hunter’s story! Now its been completely changed to match better vibes :3 its… such a crazy big revamp, and its been daunting but so far i LOVE the direction its taken. If you like Galactic scale action then it is 100% the story for u <3 cause its scale is INSANE.

Vega’s a neat one and i really love her honestly, so she used to be JUST balance. But Rane did a number on her and essentially severed her from her other half and in the process left his mark on her. Now Balance has been out of wack for a while and even when Vega is reformed into who she once was, everything is still out of balance. So, she became the Wraith of Vengeance as well as Balance because she reformed with such explosive rage that it brought about a obsession with vengeance she would soon enact on the wraith of war. (With the help of Hunter and Trace)

And i know thats all very gibberishy atm but i swear im COOKING. Its gonna be so cool when its all out of the oven and cohesive. Condemned is actually being posted a lot on Patreon rn so you have like Hunter’s design posted rn, Rane’s wip sketch is coming out next month, and then Vega’s full body is comin too! So if u wanna see more and fast thats where it is (Not to boost… it but also yes to boost it HRNG EXCITEMENT!!)

A former Zoraxis operative, a high thief and burglar-for-hire who rose up the ranks over the years. Agent Nightjar worked undercover with Omar, on the long and ambitious Operation [REDACTED]. The two had grown close over time, Omar claimied that they may have even fallen in love. They state that they had suspicions, but turned a blind eye to it until his cover was blown. Zoraxis had caught Nightjar collecting intel, and brutally injured him in a near death incident. Omar managed to save the Agent, and with his direction, brought him to the Agency Emergency Room. While grateful for the rescue of one of their agents, the Agency still had their doubts about a Zoraxis Operative changing sides so suddenly. Omar was detained for some weeks after this event – with no clear idea of what the Agency should do to him.

After some pleading and much compromise, Omar’s affiliation with Zoraxis was deemed useful. After pulling some strings, the Agency has Agent Flying Fox working for them in order to pay off his years of crime. Under strict conditions, of course. Their Agency house is dotted with cameras, microphones, and sensors. They are forced to wear a watch that tracks his every word and move. Concerns regarding Agent privacy are continually dismissed by higher supervisors, as “A single blind spot could leave us wide open.” They have been denied a TK implant.

Agent Nightjar is currently in recovery for his injuries. Agency Research & Development is working on new assistive tech for him in the meantime. This has played a part in Flying Fox’s hire, as the Agency still needs to complete Nightjar’s mission until he is able to return to work.

Agent Flying Fox’s motives are uncertain. The team tracking him continue to preach that he is “Just madly in love” and “Constantly gushing about Agent Nightjar, and would do anything for him”. Such claims are met with scepticism from higher officers. What truly motivates this individual to the Agency’s side will forever be a mystery...

OKAY SO! story time <3

Let me do a bit of uhh world building to explain him better:

so the current world they live in is divided by two places, the overworld and the underworld. the overworld is practically the same as ours except with magic and fun fantasy stuff hidden within the cracks :)

the underworld is split into regions of sins and each location has a ruler to oversee each section. All the damned souls are put into sections of their worst sin (lust, greed, etc) and it’s the rulers decision to do as they wish with the souls. If souls happen to escape their little cities they will literally only end up in the badlands since there’s nowhere else to go,,, they end up wandering these badlands for eternity and the longer they stay there the more they lose themselves and their original form..kind of falling into their worst sin and morphing into their worst self.

The demons that live in the underworld are strictly forbidden from going to the overworld since they NEED to keep everything contain. There was a strict contract made eons in the past and my goodness it will not be broken.

extra tidbit is that the devil does exist n hes like the boss of all the rulers but he just kinda vibes doing his things no one talks to him unless necessary

SO DAMON TIME!!

he is……. the son of wrath! each sin is kind of a bloodline?? so the rulers have to be from their sin bloodline or chaos ensues… anyway..

Damon isn’t a full demon though, his father just showed up with him one day and everyone is suuuper scared of him so they didn’t ask why hes got a half blood son and it seems like he got away with it with the other rulers?? literally no one knows why. He has a couple of half brothers who absolutely hate him because ykno,,, hes like,, an illegal being lmao,, and he kinda gets his father’s favouritism. (or thats how they see it at least,, his father is not kind to Damon at all) Typically the Wrath bloodline have. horrible anger issues lmao but since Damon is half Wrath he has much better control and instead has trained himself to use it to his advantage when fighting! the downside to this is that sometimes he can be extremely brutal and hard to control if he gets into a really intense fight. Perhaps he might do something he regrets in the heat of the moment :)

He’s been trained ever since he was able to wield a sword to become a soldier for his father and it is GRUELLING work. But now he is an extraordinary fighter! Better than his brothers so yknow,,, more hatred <333

SO one day his father sends him on a mission by himself to the badlands, to keep some of the souls from getting too strong he essentially has to decapitate them and move on since they cant kill a dead person,, just reset their bodies essentially…

while he’s doing this, he finds these gates opening and taking these monster souls through to the overworld so UHH YKNOW UH OH?? THATS BAD??? after some moral dilemmas he decides to jump through a gate,, fight some bitches (turns out,, when these monsters enter the overworld they just become actual beings again and can die!! cool!!),,, and get screamed at by the general public BECAUSE HE LOOKS INSANE??? WEIRD OUTFIT??? COVERED IN BLOOD?? GIANT SCYTHE??? normal in the underworld but yknow

the only person who doesnt either run or scream is Beau!!! she’s kinda dumb and rather intrigued because clearly Damon is just as confused as everyone else and also?? he just mauled like 3 creatures?? epic?? lmao so she takes him in and after the most confusing convos ever,, they are besties <3 she is his map, gives him fashion advice, his overworld encyclopaedia and he is her training bag, only friend and someone to teach her loads of cool tricks!! its great theyre so stupid together,, as the story goes on they form a really strong sibling bond and its clear they’ll stick together for as long as they live :) they both really need each other

Now his relationship with Flynn is very uuuhhhhhhh rocky lmao,,, after they meet he’s genuinely thinks flynn is so <333 slay,,, he is a whore he just wants flynn to call him names and hes like <333 omg <333,,, during their adventure they kind of start a fling n they clearly care about each other, Damon is slowly breaking Flynn’s walls down and Flynn is showing Damon that gentleness and soft affection can be something he can have in his life its very sweet <3 but yknow uhh betrayal etc kind of fucks this up but who knows!!! maybe they can make up in the end!!! hopefully no one dies :)

Control was SO good I loved it. I literally beat it, then went and bought both DLCs. its been a bit since I played it but I keep meaning to go replay it.

the only things I wasn't really a fan of was the random timed missions that pop up where you're supposed to go keep some people alive BUT those aren't mandatory, you can safely ignore them.

and then you can choose to do some missions as you play, like "kill X number of a specific enemy", "kill X number of enemies with a specific skill", "get X number of headshots". the harder ones have a lower requirement but give better rewards, like um what are they called. its not a permanent upgrade, its a thing you can equip to your different weapon modes. idk. you can swap them out whenever though. they weren't frustrating, just repetitive after a while.

AND (most importantly for my atrocious navigational skills) there's a map and it's see through so you can move around with it open! although it can be a little confusing at times.

AND THE STORY WAH i love jesse so much. i love dylan so much.

oh, I also didn't like the Jukebox mechanic that much :/ but its not required either. you use jukebox tokens to go into a specific area and you have to complete timed missions in there, but there are mods on nexusmods to raise the time limit. you get rewards like money, and upgrades and if you complete all the missions, you get a new outfit for Jesse (but i cheated and unlocked the outfit by mods bc i HATE timed missions 😠)

there's two things I LOVED but are also big spoilers so i won't say them

overall, 9/10 with a number taken off for the few things I disliked but they weren't mandatory so I'm not super annoyed.

ALSO THERE'S A PHOTO MODE more games should have photo modes

i think thats it. anyways!!! very good game, emotionally ruined me, you can put Jesse in cat ears if you have the Foundation DLC which is funny

im curious about adobe certified? like what does that entail?

basically in high school i was part of journalism, communications, film and photography! all three of those things required that i become very familiar with adobe suites. the communications department had a partnership or something so we could learn the suites for free; later on we had to take a test on all the different programs and we could earn a certification if we passed.

adobe suites are the industry standard; i've been doing photography and graphic design for almost 10 years now, and a lot of jobs within the professional industry require this certification. it's honestly bullshit imo, because i think people who make art can create insanely high quality work without overpriced tools, but at the same time ... thats showbiz baby!

its nice to have on my resume, and i've definitely gotten some great opportunities by being like "teehee i could make crazy potions via adob of photo shopped" so like i can't complain at all. friends who went into similar careers have also been able to use it as well.

now i think a lot of the industry has become somewhat more lax, esp with the rise of AI (ughhhh) and accessible editing apps/softwares. i've also found my niche/aesthetic that people care about, so. idk. i'm not into photography anymore, i used to shoot for music venues and bars and did a LOT of headshots and stuff like that, but most of said places are corporate and/or outsource, and some places just do it on their own since there's a lot more ways to, for example, manage social media for your small business with a camera and like. canva and vsco.

i honestly could not use illustrator for my life though. that shit would have me shaking and crying and throwing up whenever i had to use it.

 its because hes ethnically jewish, to me its as though he has a big glowing star of david on his forehead his phenotype is so fucking jewish, that unnaturally padded face, that weird honey smacks bear mouth, but it was an IMAGE of him laughing that went viral well before the video came out, its not just that hes exhibiting phoniness its that when he laughs his exaggerated mouth is highlighted as well, its uncanny, it smacks as being something less than fully human. im not even saying hes not good looking, but thats what makes this trait of theirs so interesting to me, they can often be quite attractive while still exhibiting uncanny valley features.

 they are the descendants of the neanderthals/nephilim. it can be quite subtle, but the way i explain it is have you ever seen one of those little key chain magnifying glasses? the cheap plastic ones? its as though you slowly moved once of those over a headshot of a mans face, just slightly exaggerating either the midface or the lower third. they were made in the image of their creator and us in ours.
