THEY'RE SO FREAKING BAD*SS I SWEAR!!

Okay, I know that whatever-the-f*ck-her-name-is still got the upper hand with the freaking wolfsbane (I hate wolfsbane. I really hate it. Why can it be used in so many forms?? WHY?!), but that was SO F*CKING BAD*SS I CANNOT WITH THIS PACK!!

I mean, even when she DID get the upper hand, and Scott and Malia were struggling against the wolfsbane, Scott looked her dead in the eyes, watched her every move, and still had enough confidence to say "you don't know where he is, either", and I just LOVE THAT.

And LEADING UP TO THAT!

I mean, the amount of utter strength and confidence in:

"Stiles. Take 10 off the table."

I MEAN COME ON!

That boy just took out one of the bodyguards, reached down for the walkie talkie, and talked DIRECTLY TO his best friend that was SITTING IN THE ROOM with the villain with NO fear and NO qualms, and Stiles just freaking reached over and removed the money.

Like.

Obviously our pack is slightly underestimating these hunters, because they don't really know what they're up against, but I guarantee you, the hunters don't know what they're up against either.

And then you add to that Kira and Malia like..

The way they were just watching, and then they both sprung into action, Kira with the f*cking NUNCHUCKS, Malia with her werewolf strength and acrobatics I just...

ALSO!!

WHILE I'M HERE!!

I'm sorry.

But THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN KIRA AND MALIA I CANNOT!!!

I've been racking my brain, and I don't think I have EVER so IMMEDIATELY shipped someone THIS INTENSELY, but OMG, the CHEMISTRY.

I love Scira. With all of my heart. And I know that ship goes canon at some point and I'm totally happy about that.

And I know Stalia does officially happen at some point, and I know Scalia (don't ask me why Scott and Kira would ever break up, but ANYWAYS) is a thing also, so I know there is absolutely no way I get Malira canonically, and I probably won't even get that many more Malira moments throughout the rest of the show.

But...

Basically, my philosophy around disability fakers is: I would rather a thousand people fake a disability than have one disabled person suffer without care, aids, compassion, or any help.

#disability #disability advocacy #and there's a difference not many people seem to recognize between faking and realizing you don't have [x] problem...#...such as realizing you don't have [x] disorder because it is instead [y] disorder...#...or you haven't completely understood your care needs/your symptoms/what helps you...#...and some people see ANY change in your understanding of your disability as proof of maliciously faking...#...when i suppose in my personal experience people don't *maliciously* fake disability...#...i'm not saying it could never happen but that i don't think it's the *only* thing motivating people called fakers #i just think (like most everything) this is complex and nuanced because it's a *human* experience #like for me personally i /know/ i still have a lot to learn about my disabilities...#...like... i realized recently that my hands shouldn't be in AGONY when warm water is ran over them when it's SLIGHTLY cold inside or out...#...and i realized that i likely have a Noticable limb difference that needs checking out. does this sound like i'm faking...#...or that maybe i just didn't really explore my own needs and body because of a variety of factors?#i can assure you it is because i haven't really thought before about how i deserved to understand how to best help myself

oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!

and sometimes it's just "weird things my sister has said that I make fun of her for"

I’m back from vacation, it was amazing minus the flying part of it, slowly catching up over the next few days! My phone was in airplane mode for 9 days, only rare access to wifi, I feel SO refreshed not knowing anything that has been going on.

Also, I was somewhere that is a popular destination internationally, and I’ve realized I can successfully identify Korean being spoken in the wild now. Korean families say hi to each other when they spot each other abroad! Americans don’t do this so I thought it was cool that I could at least understand that much.

#they do get around north america a good bit #i love playing identify the language #germans also are everywhere #also flying right now is insane #our flight got cancelled 4 hours before it was supposed to leave #and we got rebooked on something arriving a full 27 hours later #than originally scheduled #spent a lot of time and money trying to get there only 12 hours later #on a series of 2 flights that were collectively delayed 13 times #we got rebooked 4 times my husband got waitlisted after having a ticket #spent 2 hours sitting on the tarmac #it was a fucking nightmare #i was a ball of stress and anxiety for 36 hours #i couldn't eat or sleep #that's never happened to me before #and i've had plenty of flight issues and drama in the past #made me think of hobi's comments about his state before lolla #it's a fucking horrible way to feel #and i just had expensive days of a bucket list vacation on the line #ugh i feel for them #anxiety to the point of appetite loss is something else

It really is so true that you never know what someone’s going through behind closed doors. I’ve made being gentle and kind my default bc I’ve had super put together friends disclose the most harrowing time of their lives to me and it’s like oh?? You were going through that???? I would’ve never guessed

#It’s easy to reduce people to side characters or caricatures but you never know. You truly never know what someone’s going through or what #Could push them over the edge. Cruelty will never be worth potentially causing someone permanent damage #I’ve realized this after having a conversation w a friend of mine who sailed straight to med school #Tons of leadership roles #Thriving social life #Yet she just told me her hair was falling out from anxiety. I think that Dr. Christina "I was an excellent soldier" Raynor needs to deal with some personal things before she's anyone's therapist, because she strong-armed more of Bucky's autonomy away from him than Zemo did within the series.
