Hi! I do look at the CN content, but usually for me that's limited to the novel itself, rather than interviews, etc.

This is a combination of joining the fandom somewhat late, and also joining it from the EN-speaking side-- while I'm fairly good at finding references in my copies of the novel, I'm much less skilled when it comes to tracking down interviews.

To be honest, I've only vaguely heard reference to that specific claim & haven't seen the source, so I can't take a look for myself. I've also heard that it was said that it was unknown what happened to his soul.

For a further analysis, if you could provide me a source of the interview (even a post talking about that, as long as it has the original text included or linked, would work!) that would be great! As of now, I've seen far more often that his fate was simply unknown rather than a shattered soul, but I'd need a quote to be sure!
