Mom Update 3/17

I got to see mom again today, and not only did she know that dad and I were there, but she was speaking more and more, she would call for us, she talked about me and the cats. It's all good signs

We also got better MRI results and know the problem, but not the cause. Still, they have a team of over 20 doctors on her case, and I'm thankful for everyone whose helped her. She's not close to being discharged yet, but every day looks brighter.

Unfortunately, we don't have health insurance so I am planning on making a gofundme, because this is going to be EXPENSIVE (oh the joys of american healthcare systems)

I've got a lot of people praying/sending all the goodest of vibes

so that helps.

Everyone talks about how fucked up it was that people told kids, especially girls, that if someone picks on you it means they like you. And that is fucked up and should be talked about, but you know what else is fucked up?

Telling bullying victims to have sympathy for their bully because “they’re probably hurting too” (also that the best way to stop bullying is to ignore it, but that’s another post). That’s really harmful and just teaches kids to ignore mistreatment and abuse because the perpetrator has had a hard time too.

I really do think CCS should straight up just do sub-only mode or even emote-only mode when they do QSMP, especially when people are being whiny little babies / backseaters / annoying metagamers or basically doing anything that makes the experience suck for them and their viewers.

I know they've been doing bans / shared ban lists, but a lot of streamers don't have mods or rules that are harsh enough to keep those losers out. Like, if those viewers can't handle conflict or tell the difference between reality and RP, then they shouldn't be allowed to engage or interact with the story or streamers, period. Go read one of those "Baby's first book" picture books and watch Teletubbies or something. It's silly.

I don't see it as much as some folks because I am ruthless with my block list and I use Tumblr more than Twitter (+ I also limit who I watch) but I do see it a lot of complaints about it and I DO see it in certain Twitch chats. It sucksss.

I really appreciate Fit and Phil because they, at least, ALWAYS call out BS. It's refreshing, but even then dumb people still whine.

Anyways TLDR everyone, including the CCs, should quit Twitter and they should lock chat behind sub mode only or emote only 100% of the time

Mugman is a genuine sweetheart, but he can be. . . A bit hyperactive sometimes.

On occasion, you'll have to get him to slow down long enough for you to actually understand what he's saying.

Just like his brother, he tends to keep PDA on the down low. However it isn't out of appearing "weak" so much that it's because he's just nervous.

Enjoys roping you onto little "side-quests" for random supplies the group might need whenever y'all are near a town, he thinks that they're a silly way for him to bond with you!

Even though he seems childish and naive, he’s FAR from perfectly innocent. (being a gun for hire will do that to a guy, I suppose). However, he’ll play dumb in tense situations to try and ease the harsh atmosphere, making an ass of himself to keep the people around him from going for each other’s throats.

(If you look closely, you’ll see him do that a LOT with his brother and Bendy. In all honesty, He’s probably the reason that those two haven’t tried to kill each other yet…)

Speaking of cuphead, Mugman values his brother's opinions A LOT, so if the two of you want to last longer than a few weeks, you’re going to need Cuphead’s approval.

(Which. Isn’t all that hard actually. As long as you aren’t actively trying to manipulate/use/kill Mugman, Cups is fine with whoever Mugs decides to date.)

((Even so, I would be on guard around the older cup twin. If he gets even the tiniest idea that you might be bad for his brother, he’s gonna shut the whole thing down.))

Mugman loves deeply, and tends to stick with the people he cares about through thick and thin. If he decides that you’re “the one”, he’s gonna stay loyal to you until the day he dies! 

That being said, he heavily expects the same for you… Which probably isn’t the best thing in the world for folks with commitment issues.
