I am in love with the concept of the demons in the devildom having to shed their horns, as well as possible shedding of fur, feathers, scales, or skin. With this we have to assume the demon's horns align closer to antlers than actual horns, since horns don't shed, but antlers do. Either way these are magical creatures so fuck logic. I can do what I want. Maybe they don't actually fall off, but instead shed a layer of keratin, keeping the horns shiny, strong, and unmarred. For some demons this shedding is easier, like for Lucifer and Diavolo's horns. However, with demons like Mammon and Barbatos, the details on the horn make it much harder to come off, often needing assistance.

The shed keratin from demon's horns can be used for other things, typically the creation of beauty products, and demons can get good grimm for handing in shed horn layers. I also think Satan will have to do this with his tail.

Now, the feathered demons tend to have the problem of occasional molting, and losing feathers. I'd also imagine they'd have to spend a lot of time preening and plucking their wings. Lucifer might need your help pulling a blood feather or two. Help him, please. Fur. I'm mostly thinking Belphie here. He sheds. Everywhere. Usually Beel helps by brushing out his fur, but you can definitely assist as well, it's lot of fur and four hands are better than two. Scales, this is for Levi. Please help him shed. It's not comfortable and he can't pay attention to his games if his scales have a layer peeling off. Dunk him in water, get him some nice rocks to rub up against, and peel off anything that gets really stuck. He'll be smooth, shiny, and happy afterwards.

And for the demons with wings that aren't feathered? I assume they'd need to be cared for as well. The thin wing membrane will need moisturizing. For the bug demons? help them shed their exoskeletons. I'm thinking specifically Beel and Asmo here. Yes, I headcanon they have to shed like bugs. Beel not as much, since he's a fly, but Asmo's sin animal is a scorpion, he's gonna need to get rid of that old exoskeleton as he grows. Also he comes out so much shinier and more beautiful! You gotta help him be as gorgeous as he can be!

All and all demon forms need a lot of maintenance. But that's okay, you're there to assist. Hey, maybe this will help you bond. And when you need a little help with caring for yourself, your demons will repay your kindness. ~~~ Tomi here! I take requests via my ask box! What if Jaune Arc pass, and everyone else fails in the Initiation Test on Emerald Forest? There is a story about it.

WARNING: I went down a dark path for this story. If you're disturbed by unhappy ending stories, then this is your WARNING to turn away now.

Ozpin: Jaune Arc, as the only survivor of the Emerald Forest, you are permitted to attend Beacon Academy.

Jaune didn't respond. He couldn't respond. How could he? He'd come to this academy with pie-eyed dreams of becoming a hero, only to be stricken hard in the face with the reality that this was a school that taught one how to battle a merciless foe like the Grimm. He'd barely gotten to know any of their names as he watched them all die one by one.

The first one to die was the pretty one in white. She'd slip through his hands and he watched her fall to her death into the chasm. Part of him hoped that she survived the fall and would make it back to Beacon. That the board of more than a dozen red exes was a mistake made by the academy. But the more rational side of him wished it was painless.

Next was the girl much younger than him. As the Nevermore drew closer, it pierced her heart with it's powerful beak, spraying red ichor everywhere as she'd hung lifelessly on it's beak. The other blonde of the group roared in her rage and charged blindly into the demon bird, only for her wrath to blind her to the Deathstalker closing in on her, with one claw already holding the limp body of the girl who was to be his partner. A stinger removed those beautiful, golden locks after reducing the head to red mulch.

All that was left were him and the other three students who'd joined in the initiation. They all ran to the bridge, where they'd become cornered by the giant bird and scorpion. After the girl with the hammer had been knocked over the edge by a stray swipe from the Deathstalker, the dark-haired boy jumped after her. He'd been unfortunate to watch their bodies hit the rocks below.

That left him alone with the black-bowed girl to protect him. She'd managed to swing them both across the falling bridge to the safety of the tower. They climbed their way to the top, finding a cave leading into the dark. She'd stopped halfway through, tears in her eyes. Shaking her head, she spoke her last words. "I can't."

Before he could respond, he'd become deaf and blind from her final act in the dark.

Ozpin: Mister Arc? Did you hear me?

Jaune: ...Yeah.

Oh wow… I said I was going to try and post here more often and tell my theories but I completely forgot to… anyways, is it just me or am being delusional?

And I don’t know if I have talked about this on here before but does anyone notice how Weiss Nevermore summon is possibly greatly connected to Ruby and Weiss relationship?

Like… if you think about it for a moment and just analyze what the Nevermore possibly symbolize/represents (as a great deal of Weiss summons are allusions to something or share some sort of connection or mean something), you sort of just notice that Nevermore is practically directly linked to Ruby and Weiss relationship

(Which makes sense given that Weiss wasn’t really the one to have killed the Nevermore… it was Ruby who cut off its head)

And the way this Nevermore summon connects to Ruby and Weiss relationship symbolically is possibly through it representing Trust, belief, connection, understanding and Freedom (possibly)

(Which again, makes sense for the Freedom part due to how birds are symbolically used to represent freedom)

But the thing that made me think this and made me sort of notice this connection is when the Nevermore is first killed and the slow gradual attempts by Weiss at summoning the Nevermore until her first actual summoning against CC (also some stuff about what Winter said about summoning/the Schnee family semblance back in V3)

And the reasons these make me think of this… well, starting off with the Nevermore being killed

This part is rather simple since It’s the beginning piece of what creates and gives way for Weiss to be able to summon the Nevermore

In the beginning of the finale fight of the Emerald forest arc against both the Nevermore and the Scorpion (brain fart, forgot its name), both Ruby and Weiss sort of come to a small mutual understanding about each other and both chooses to accept and trust in the other

When Ruby comes up with a plan to kill the Nevermore, a plan that Weiss chooses to trust in and chooses to believe in Ruby (and Ruby chooses to trust in and believe in Weiss as well) being able to kill the Nevermore

And this belief in Ruby is quite easily proven true

Now moving on to the bit about Weiss attempts to summon the Nevermore till she truly does in the finale of V10

And before I fully go into depth on it, I would like to say some stuff about how during the atlas arc… Ruby and Weiss slowly got more and more distant from each other due to being too busy, having issues with some burdens, or possibly some miscommunication

And this is important because this is slightly reflected in Weiss first attempt to Summon the Nevermore in order to try and save Ruby… but yet she fails due to not being quick enough in summoning the Nevermore (and partially because of a Grimm attacking her before she could summon), because her connection and sort of understanding about Ruby has sort of… fades a bit due to distance

But this slightly changes come V9, after RWBY reunites

With how Weiss comes to learn and understand a bit about Ruby’s current emotional state and tries her best to help her a bit by trying to talk to her and get her to open up… but fails as Ruby doesn’t want to talk right now and chooses to focus on the task at hand

Something important to note is how Weiss not only understands that Ruby is hurting and something is bothering her… but Weiss also partially misunderstands when Ruby walks away when Weiss is trying to talk to her about Penny… that Ruby wants to be left alone for now and wants to get things handled first before she opens up

And Weiss (believing in that little misunderstanding since Ruby does want someone to support her or talk to her and help her) chooses to trust and believe that Ruby will talk to her and open up to her about what’s hurting her and will rely on her as well as coming to accept that Ruby needs some time

Leading to Weiss being able to almost fully summon the Nevermore but only being to summon the wings and use the wings

But not yet being able to manifest it yet

Until Ruby breaks and Weiss comes to understand and fully realize what was wrong with Ruby and what she needed most

Until the group arrives at Tree statue Ruby and Weiss comes to understand, trust and believe and accept that whoever or whatever comes out of that statue, will still be Ruby Rose

That whoever Ruby chooses to be and comes out as… Will always be Weiss’s partner, leader, and best friend to her

Which once Ruby comes back and once again… proves that belief true

Weiss is fully able to summon and conjure up the Nevermore to help in the fight against CC

But who knows… I could just be coming up with this is or looking a bit too deep… but what are all of you folks thoughts?

Also, I didn’t really get into the “Freedom” part about the whole Nevermore thing and might just make a part two to fully explore it

But to simplify it just to put it in here

The Nevermore represents Freedom because through Acceptance and Understanding, through trust and believing in one another

Ruby and Weiss manages to come together and learn to be free together

Free to choose who they want to become and who they wish to be

Free to follow their own path and define their own name

Free to find joy and love wherever it may be… to be free to find comfort and warmth in friends, family, and partner quite special

But again… what are your thoughts on it

Jaune: *To the camera* Today I am in the Forever Fall forest for the trip that they do with the new students. I don't normally come to these things, but after an accident we had 2 years ago I am forced to come.

Nora: *On the floor hallucinating* I see a light. It's beautiful~

Jaune: *Worry* What happened?!

Student: Prof. Nora ate all the maple syrup we got and then she fell on the ground.

Jaune: Oh no!

Jaune: *To the camera* She almost falls into a sugar coma. Luckily I was able to save her. And she is no longer allowed to come on this excursion. The one they sent this time was my good friend, Ren. *he smiles*

Weiss: Nice to see you, Jaune.

Jaune: Prof. Weiss? What are you doing here? What happened to Ren?

Weiss: Ren got sick. He's going to be in bed all day.

Jaune: Oh... I see. Well, I hope he gets better.

Weiss: Me too.

Weiss: *To the camera* I gave Ren a bag of super expensive Vacuo tea leaves in exchange for his position on this trip. Why? you ask. Two words: perfect husband.

Weiss: Hey Jaune, I was thinking while the students get the maple syrup. We can hang out together~

Jaune: But we're already hanging out together, we're chaperones.

Weiss: I meant something more private, I brought a bottle of wine~

Jaune: *Concerned* Wait what?

Weiss: Is from my family's personal harvest. Its aroma is so strong, that you can smell its sweet scent in the distance.

Jaune: *Worry* Weiss, for the love of Oum, don't open that bottle.

Weiss: What? You don't like sweet? Just have a drink. *Opens the bottle*

Jaune: Weiss no!

Weiss: Relax, everything is fine.

In the distance a loud buzz of bees is heard rapidly approaching.

Jaune: "What happen"? After Weiss opened the bottle, she was attacked by a large swarm of small Grimm bees known as the Flying Scorpions, known for for its strong sting.

Weiss: *With her entire body covered in bandages and in a wheelchair* HM HH HM MHH! (I HATE THIS PLACE!)

Jaune: And unfortunately for Weiss, not only will she be in my hospital for a week, she's also not allowed to come to the forest anymore. So good for me, more work when I return. *he says sarcastically* Ugh.

Weiss: Hm, Hmm h hm h hm hh h mm?! H hm mm hmm! (Wait, Jaune is going to take care of me?! I love this place!)

Hollow knight bugs & real world species

basically this is just a place for me to dump my thoughts about the species of Hollow knight characters. Let’s start with the easy ones.

Divine & Leg Eater: These two are very obviously a termite king and queen, Divine literally can’t be anything else.

Ogrim: The biggest shitter, dung beetle obvi.

Cornifer & Iselda: Weevils, aka the best bugs. Look at their proboscis’

Mantis lords: Mantids, probably based mostly on the Chinese Giant Mantis specifically.

Flukes: They’re just flukes, disgusting.

Unn: Objectively the best goddess, big slug

Quirrel: So it seems likely to me that Quirrel is a isopod of some sort, most likely an armidilidium species, I think it’s something about his hunched/slightly curled posture and body segmentation.

Radiance: A silkmoth, her wings look to be in proportion with the species and everything else screams silkmoth.

Grimm: it’s a common theory, but his resemblance to a vampire moth is striking.

Mask maker: Bro is very obviously a whip scorpion, the arms are what really seals the deal, but living among other predators with ease(ie deepnest) and twitchy motions are staples of whip scorpions irl.

Cloth: a Cicada nymph, hence her whole burrowing thing and the sounds she makes. Plus this is actually confirmed.

God Tamer: She’s an ant, but not a queen. She’s probably a worker who got separated from the colony. Her antenna are fairly distinctive in Hollownest and are very ant like. Plus she tames other species, something ant colonies effectively do by treating aphids like livestock

Ze’mer: So there’s two equally good guesses for what she is. The first is that she’s a silverfish, this would support her outsiderness given silverfish are a truly strange and primitive branch of bugs. The second possibility is that she’s a glow worm beetle, the adult stage of glow worm. This is also super plausible because of the antenna those beetles have lining up nicely with her fluff and drooping antenna. I think either one is a great interpretation.

now the harder ones.

Sly: So his size is notable, as is his eyes being very visibly compound, that combined with his mobility in the air and the sort of buzzing yoda type sound his voice has makes me think he’s a fly of some sort. Plus it rhymes.

Herrah: she’s most likely a horned baboon tarantula, the colors and size line up with what we see compared to the weavers and devout. Plus the horn on those tarantula line up shapewise fairly well with hers.

Pale King: This man to me has two different possibilities, either he’s a leg less lizard of some sort or more probably he’s some sort of really fucked up crustacean. We know Wyrms molt so that almost certainly rules out option one. My thought is that Wyrms have the same issues lobsters run into where they get bigger with every molt, so their exoskeleton gets heavier, thicker, and harder to break out of. Eventually they die, crushed under their own weight and unable to molt(this is when Wyrms generally abandon their larger form to make kingdoms). Verdict: something terribly cursed.

Bardoon: Bardoon, Bardoon, Bardoon, why must you be so difficult? So at first Bardoon really looks like a silkworm, the color is right, even the face of the two look super similar. But Bardoon is demonstrably longer than a silkworm has any right being, and his little nub/tail that you can hit distinctly resembles the “horn” all hornworms have. Despite that I’m nominally going to say he’s a silkworm until I find better evidence. Verdict: Concerning implications.

Gubs and Grubfather: Parasitic wasps maybe? The charm is called Grubberflys elegy, but their behavior mimics the way some wasps lay eggs inside of hosts so their young can eat their way out. Verdict: wasp things probably.

Tiso: So Tiso and Sharpe both look remarkably similar and from the very, very limited amount we’ve seen from both move similarly. In that vein they both look vaguely like assassin bugs, specifically assassin bug nymphs.

Vessels: Something even more fucked than the Pale King, they’re like mostly plant though I think? Like their masks look like his but are actually made of the White ladys bark/wood and grow constantly, their horns look a lot like her branches too. I imagine that their bodies have the same crustacean exoskeleton thing going on their dad has, so they’re probably incorporating heavy metals into their chitin. In all likelihood their mother being a plant and the light absorption the void displays means they’re photosynthetic in some way, it might explain how they grow too. The dangling bottom parts of the shades also look sorta like roots honestly, this also meshes well with how thorns of agony appears as void tendrils when activated. Verdict: Who tf knows, they’re definitely photosynthetic though.

The Shade Lord: So obviously this big chonker is literally just void, but their form distinctly resembles a dragonfly nymph, with four main arms/legs being used, and a distinctly predatory head shape. Plus we don’t see their bottom half, so I imagine it’s either a mass of roots like their mother, or something vaguely wormy. Verdict: Dragonfly thing

Isma: She is super fucking weird tbh, her head is shaped a lot like Vespas. Obviously however she’s some sort of pant being given the way we find her. My theory here is that she’s actually some other sort of bee, there’s a ton of bees that are solitary species. Based on that I’d say she was a bee— probably a white-banded digger bee— who became a devotee or worshipper of Unn. This may explain how the Pale king was allowed to build in green path. Unn let him build in her land and in return she got a loyal and powerful spy/pair of eyes in the Pale court.

Okay this could just be me remembering the lore wrong. But how old was Ozma when died in the Vtuber au? Since Salem should at least be in his late 60s or somewhere around that, well assuming Ozma didn't die young.

Well, there isn’t any lore, well much lore for the story in general.

But, I can certainly make some!

Ahem…

Before the VTubers, there was the MMORPG of, ‘The World of Remnant: Hunter’s, and Monsters.’ Salem, and Ozpin were actually players in these games, among the top players at that. And, because of their skills in the game, they were the elected heads of their respective guilds.

Salem was often referred to as the, Grimm Queen, and the leader of the Cabal. And, Ozpin was simply referred to as Headmaster Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon Academy.

Salem became the, Cabal leader after the developers of the game came to her with an offer that she could become the canal leader after they notices her skills, and particular playing style that they thought would be fit for the position as the leader of the, Cabal.

Salem herself was a blonde hair woman with deep blue eyes in her early twenties. She started playing the game as a copping mechanism after dealing with a miscarriage that ultimately ruined her marriage as well.

Loosing herself in the game brought peace of mind, and of heart that she sorely needed. Being the cabals master also meant that she could adopted an almost motherly attitude, but strict way of dealing with its members. This way of dealing with the guild members added an air seriousness to its members. Reminding them that they were evil, but not evil.

And, she remained the leader of the Cabal until the very end. She lead her guild throughout the consequences of the, Apprentice Massacre,’ She led her guild in battle against the, Grimm Titan, and she was the last flame to be snuffed out as the, Scorpion incident struck the final nail in the coffin of the, Grimm Cabal..

But, her love for her character, and the, ‘World of Remnant’ endured. See various characters she knew given new life in a new form she decided to join in on the, VTuber crowd, and bring back her dear lady.

The world of hunter’s and monsters may have fallen to the ashes of time. But, Salem the Grimm Queen would endure.

Ozpin was to, put it simply: a huge nerd.

Like a massive nerd when it came to the lore, and history behind, The World of Remnant. So much of a fan that while the man of his late thirties never having a computer for gaming he immediately bought one just for playing, ‘The World of Remnant: Hunter’s and Monsters.’

He spent countless hours playing this game to the point that where it was often said among the various players that, Ozpin was made the headmaster of, Beacon was just to get him to slow down.

He lead, Beacon Academy with a calm, and wise disposition, that seemed to go on for hours, leading to the rumour that the mug his avatar was often seen carrying around was filled with coffee, and the man himself was a caffeine addict.

A rumour that those who were close to him, such as ErrantryPaladin, and other high rank Academy faculty members would confirm to be true.

He lead, Beacon Academy until the final days of the game. He stood side by side his friends that have played this game since it’s inception. He was among the first to join, and the last to leave.

Now that the, ‘World of Remnant: Hunter’s and Monsters’ was over, he got into the VTuber Scene, and became the Headmaster to his beloved Academt one again as the owner of the, Beacon Academy VTuber Agency.

Bringing back his persona as the Headmaster of Beacon Academy to usher in a new era for upcoming Hunters of The Wold of Remnant: VTuber Verse.

A/N: Hey everyone. I know I have requests backed up to the nines but was my birthday and I need some comfort teehee (I am also SO mad that twst doesn’t have a thing for the MCs birthday >:( ). Some are longer than others because the inspiration train hit, but I really don't care. I love me my boys, what can I say? I hope you guys can read this for your birthdays and be happy :)

Kalim Al-Asim

This man enlists his entire dorm to arrange a surprise party for you. The issue? He's way too excited and does a terrible job at hiding it.

It ends up not being much of a surprise, but that's alright. You have an entire dorm singing you praises and a buffet fit for a king. Is that ice sculpture in your likeness? Yes. Yes it is.

Kalim couldn't remember what your favorite type of treat was, so he ordered them all! Get ready to taste each because he guilts you into it.

Many pictures. He's carrying a disposable camera around and trying to capture the party in full. He wants the moment to last forever, and watching everyone be happy makes it all worth it. Is this party for you or for Kalim?

Whole table of presents. He was also indecisive on what to get you, so in the end he tried an all around approach.

To Jamil's annoyance, he makes you leave the party with him early. Then you're soaring the skies on his magical carpet, with him trying to extend the night as long as possible.

After all, there's no guarantee that he will get to spend your next birthday at your side. A bitter truth, but it makes him appreciate every moment.

"Did you have fun?...Jeez, I don't want to go home. I want to spend every moment with you. I want everyone to know just how much I love you…that’s it! Let’s stay out all night so it doesn’t have to end!”

Jamil Viper

Did anyone say breakfast in bed? Jamil basically breaks into your dorm the morning of to prepare a meal from your homeland. You had told him about your favorite dishes here and there, so he took it upon himself to try and recreate them.

It’s absolutely the nicest thing he has ever done for someone other than Kalim. No strings attached, and all his idea. He can’t guarantee the taste to be exactly as you know it, but he puts his whole jamilussy into cooking that morning. He even makes a bit for Grimm so that the cat doesn’t try to pick from you plate

This is the ONE day where he is not a snarky little turd. You are treated like royalty that entire morning. Before your brain can even process that someone’s cooking downstairs, he is pushing open your door with a tray of goodies in hand. He’s so extra with it too. He props up your pillow so you can sit up, opens the window to let in a breeze, arranges the tray so you can eat easily, and even has a small bouquet of flowers to put on your bedside table

He won’t offer it, but if you ask him to feed you then he will. Jamil tries to act like the request doesn’t bother him and will scoff at it. After a few bites he can’t go on and needs a second to calm down.

His present is an anklet. A gold-plated chain with a scorpion charm as the clasp. He gives it to you after you’ve finished your meal. Cherish the moment, because the moment he leaves it’s back to sassy Jamil mode

“Don’t get too comfortable with this kind of treatment. It’s bad enough that I have to watch over Kalim—you need to take better care of yourself. However, if you are still with us next year then I am not opposed to doing this again,”

Scenario: You gift your favorite demon a scratch off ticket from a nearby Devildom gas station. Turns out the ticket you gave them is a winner! 10 million grimm!

(I have never written a fanfic or anything in my life, so pls be nice! I'm just a bored girl who just lost a scratch off 😔)

Lucifer

This man is loaded with grimm, pride hurts a little bit. He doesn't want you to think he's broke, but flattered your spent your own money on him.

Gives you a soft smile as he takes the ticket. " Thank you MC, how thoughtful of you." He presses a soft kiss on the top of your head before heading back to his study.

Leaves it on his desk for two days, lost in his stacks of paperwork. It's only when he finally decides to clean his desk and finds the ticket is when he scratches it off.

Widens his eyes slightly at the winning ticket. Casually stuffs it in his suit pocket and goes about his day as normal.

Never tells you he won it, but since he has the ability to load cash in to your account he deposits 9 million Grimm in to your savings account. He wouldn't dare keep all the winnings to himself, especially since his darling MC bought it for him.

He'll only tell you he won the ticket when you notice 9 million grimm in your account.

Refuses to take the grimm back. He loves you and wants you to be financially secure. Just please for the love of Diavolo do not tell Mammon.

Mammon

You swear you saw him drool at the sight of the ticket you handed him.

Needs to ask for a coin from you to scratch the ticket ( lmao poor baby is so broke)

Scratches the ticket on the floor of your room.

" 10 MILLION GRIMM!?"

Spent a whole week binging rwby because why not

Very interesting decision of the show to open on literally the best character, like I’ve heard of peaking early but come on

No but fr Roman is actually so special to me

I just finished volume nine and I broke down crying at his and Neo’s final moments

Thing is, I’m a person with daddy issues and my favorite family member is my uncle so like of course Qrow is second favorite guy

We love us a bisexual subby whore

Ozpin is number three so like guess what my favorite ship is

(Side note, My Own Worst Enemy by Elektric Angel is one of the best fics I have ever read and I cannot recommend it enough)

Why the fuck did this show start out with having one of the four main characters be racist?! What a bold choice

Y’know what would be unintentionally ironic but somewhat expected?

If V9 ended on a cliffhanger with RWBYJ returning from the Ever After and reuniting with their comrades on the other side only to learn that Oscar was missing…again.

As us Pineheads in the RWBY community are aware of, it is literally a meme at this point for Oscar Pine to go missing/end up lost at some point during a season. The only two seasons he didn’t go missing in are V4 and V5---the two seasons he was introduced in. V4 being his debut season and V5 being the first time he met the hero team. So on that front, those seasons don’t count.

But for the seasons following:

V6--- Oscar went missing in Argus following a scuffle with Jaune.

V7--- Oscar went missing in Atlas after getting separated from JNR thanks to Neo, shot to his death by General Ironwood only to end up down in Mantle

V8--- Oscar went missing in Mantle after getting kidnapped by the Hound and taken to Monstra to be tortured by Salem and Hazel; leading his comrades on a mission to save him.

I wasn’t kidding when I said Oscar is literally the wandering sheep of the hero team once upon at time. They keep losing him in some shape or form each volume. So I feel like it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch if Ruby and the others came back to Remnant to learn from the others that Oscar is missing yet again, probably for some time after running away and disappearing into the desert in a desperate attempt to find the missing RWBYJ.

Oscar draws inspiration from the little prince fairy-tale character and part of the prince’s story took place in a desert where he found himself lost along with the Pilot as company.

Let’s say…learning the news that RWBYJ all disappeared following the attack at the portal devastated Oscar.

So much so, that even after meeting with the allies in Vacuo and arriving safely at Shade Academy, Oscar wanted to return to the desert to search for their missing comrades; wanting to believe they were still alive somehow.

But since Vacuo was under siege thanks to Salem’s forces attacking Shade Academy for the Summer Maiden and the Relic of Destruction, the other huntsmen had exhausted themselves and their resources trying to defend the school and its kingdom to the point that they could no longer focus on finding a few missing huntsmen when they were trying to protect the lives of many innocent people.

So ultimately, Oscar is given no other choice than to go off on his own to find RWBYJ. I also have this theory of Oscar finding Mercury in the desert after he was presumed left for dead by Tyrian Callows.

My theory is that Tyrian would double cross Mercury as soon as they arrived in Vacuo, believing him to be a potential traitor to Salem or something along those lines.

Perhaps Oscar and Mercury end up bonding which ultimately leads to them being forced to join forces as Tyrian returned to finish Mercury off and take Oscar to Salem with an army of Grimm Beringels in his stead.

And as us Pineheads are also aware of, in the original Little Prince tale, the prince was poisoned by a snake with his story ending on the presumption that he died and was never able to reunite with his beloved rose.

It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to have Oscar be poisoned by Tyrian since he is a Scorpion Faunus.

But unlike his fairytale counterpart, Oscar will get to reunite with his rose as Ruby, in her reborn form, would come find and save him in the desert leading to a emotionally heartfelt reunion between them.

Or so I’d like to imagine.

I mean I could end up being very much wrong about Oscar disappearing at all.

But at the same time, I also wouldn’t be too surprised if I’m correct in my assumption because let's just face it, these CRWBY showrunners just love to write this former farm boi as a lost boy.

Shoot I predict Oscar being in danger at least twice if there was to be a V10 since he's still needed alive by Salem inorder to reveal the true location of the Chamber of Choice---the final relic.

So sorry Pineheads, we got some more worrying to do for our boy moving forward. But if it leads to more potential moments between him and his rose, I'd say it'd be worth the added angst.

Superman: *holding a knocked out Tryian off the ground.* I go by Superman from where I am from.

Salem: Uh-huh. And you are from another universe?

Superman: that's right.

Salem: *looks him up and down* and it's normal to wear spandex? *Suddenly the doors burst open as Ruby and Batman rush in, Salem leaning over slightly to look pass Superman.* I take it this muscular floating man is a friend of your, Ruby Rose.

Ruby: That's right. And they are going to help us take you down.

Salem: That's ironically what your mother thought when it came to Raven helping her.

Batman: *Ruby's eye flicker as she goes to move but Batman stops her.* Remember the plan. Superman, she is immortal so don't hold back.

Superman: On it. *As soon as Superman let go of the scorpion faunus Superman was in first of Salem already throwing a punch when a loud bam rings through the room, shattering the windows.*

Salem: Oh. I see. *Salem said with a little bit struggle in her voice as she holds Superman's fist in her hand.* Those muscles of yours aren't just for show. *She then quickly punched Superman cause his to fly back and be caught by Grimm arms she has summoned.*

Batman: What?!

Ruby: I honestly didn't think she this strong.

Superman: Huh. You are stronger than you look. *Superman commented before using his heat vision to blast a hold in her chest and cute the Grimm arms off him and flys back to attack again.* But I have a few tricks up my sleeves.

Salem: What a Coincidence. *Salem groaned as her chest filled in and raise her hand as a beam of her magic fires from her hand sending superman with a yell of pain through a wall.* So do I.

Ruby: Clark! *Rushes over seeing him stand and his chest burnt. * What happened? I thought you were Invulnerable.

Superman: I should be. But that did feel like a normal energy blast or a semblance.

Ruby: Well yeah. She uses magic.

Superman: I thought that Cinder lady was the one that used magic.

Ruby: Yeah with the maiden powers she stole. Salem natural has magic and is more powerful. That's why we said you take her with me giving support.

Batman: oh no.

Ruby: What?

Batman: Ruby Kryptonians are weak against magic.

Ruby: Oh... Fuck.

Salem: Fuck indeed. *Salem stated as she summoned grimm and started to float of a twister.*

Rwby world building headcanons bc I have nothing better to do

-Dust grows like a plant, but specifically a really resilient plant. You can pop it down anywhere and before you know it, you have a little dust garden. Of course, when harvesting Dust you have to leave a little behind so it grows back, kinda like mushrooms. This is why Vacuo doesn't have a ton of Dust anymore; Mantle and Mistral both mined Dust so thoroughly they didn't leave anything behind. There's efforts to replant Dust though, and Vacuo is slowly getting better.

-Dust is EVERYWHERE, and since it's quite literally everywhere, it has... interesting effects, depending exactly on where and how much. Floating islands aren't unusual at all, and are common tourist destinations. There's thick jungles caused by plant Dust, and the reason why Menagerie has such a wide desert is partly because of Burn Dust. Dust creates many, many mystical sights. Because of how much Dust there is on the continent where the Grimmlands are, the weather and terrain is very volatile.

-Animals utilize both aura and Dust, and are generally far more intense than our animals. Animals have to compete with not just each other, but also humans and Grimm. Another note is that dinosaurs do, in fact, exist on Remnant. Imagine coming across an Ankylosaurus that has earth Dust in its tail, or massive scorpions that use lightning Dust. Yeah, this is the kind of shit people regularly deal with.

-Everyone and everything on Remnant is connected by a pretty minor telepathic field. It's how Grimm can sense emotions.

-Everything on Remnant varies a lot in size, and everything is generally more intense than on earth. Animals can be absolutely massive, and storms are naturally more powerful on Remnant. The power of hurricanes are a bit more strong than ours, and are very devastating. Animals are essentially buffed too.

-Humans/Faunus are far, far more powerful on Remnant due to a mix of evolution and aura. The most average of Huntsmen can easily lift thousands of pounds, and can run as fast as a cheetah. They also have 2 hearts to deal with the added stress on the body, and more powerful lungs (I'm not a biology nerd, don't ask me how it works). Size varies a lot as well, so people can be as small as 3-4 feet tall, to even up to 8 feet tall. They're also naturally far more intelligent, given everyone went from 1700s to scifi in less than a century and regularly make complicated mechashift weapons as children. The senses are also naturally boosted (and faunus still have far better senses. Good luck sneaking away from them).

-Vale is tropical and is much like Florida in terms of climate. Yes, there's tons of little lizards all over the place. However, it's colder in the winter, so they do occasionally get snow.

-Humans are far more resistant to things like temperature and radiation. Because of this, despite the constant blazing heat in Vacuo and the freezing cold in Solitas, humans could somewhat easily live there. It's definitely still possible to freeze to death or get heatstroke, though.

-There's many Oasis' in Vacuo that are there because of naturally occurring plant and water dust.

-Beneath Vacuo is an extremely large maze-like cave system. In the past, over the years, it was used as a sort of catacombs. Now, people are forbidden from venturing inside themselves. If you go in, there's a very good chance you'll never come back out. This cave system causes many sinkholes all over the desert, and Grimm and animals use it to travel.

-Around where Atlas is located, Solitas has a massive frozen sheet of ice connected to the rest of the continent. Atlas is located where the beach would be if the ice wasn't there.

-The naturally occurring metals on Remnant are far more tough, and the man-made metals are as well. These metals are often used to make Huntsman weapons due to their durability, and to reinforce and even make buildings in dangerous places.

-Years are 6 months long, but the months are twice as long as ours, being roughly 8 weeks long. Years are about the same length, but are a bit longer (rather than 365 days, there's almost 400 days).

-Humans naturally live a bit longer, if you don't consider the Grimm. The oldest recorded person was 120 years old.

-There's 4 zodiacs people use. The Grimm zodiac, the Dust zodiac, the animal zodiac, and the fairytale zodiac. Most of them range from 12-16 signs, but the Dust zodiac only has 6. Specific kingdoms are more likely to use specific zodiacs, such as Atlas using the Grimm zodiac, or Vale using the fairytale zodiac. The Animal zodiac was created by Faunus, and is slowly becoming widespread amongst Faunus outside of Menagerie. The White Fang use the Grimm zodiac alongside the Animal zodiac.

-Mistral is the most rich in resources, and while it's not the kingdom that has the most Dust, it still has quite a lot. Atlas is home to the most Dust-rich continent. The 'dragon' land in Mistral rivals it in how much Dust there is.

-Humans can be naturally born with unusual colors, like purple or red eyes, bright white hair, etc.

-Vale and Mistral are home to the oldest mountain range on Remnant, not unlike Appalachia. Yes, there's many superstitions.

-Ghosts do actually exist on Remnant, but they're more of a leftover of aura. They're not totally sentient beings.

-Each kingdom has their own language. Atlesian is the closest to English, but Mistralian can be compared to Japanese (with some places having languages similar to Korean or Chinese). Vacuan is similar to Arabic, but there's people who speak languages that are similar to Afrikaans or Xhosa. Valian can be compared to Welsh or Irish Gaelic, and there's also places where languages differ, and some languages can be compared to German, which is also widespread in Vale.

-Remnant in general is kind of a death world where everything wants to kill you.

-Theres descendants of the old royals of the kingdoms that are still alive. The King of Vales family, the Regalia's, are a wealthy and well known family, and even are part of the Vale council. The same can be said for the Mistrali Emperors descendants, the Yings.

A New World

"So nice of you to join us, Cinder."

"My queen." Cinder bowed, holding out the Relic of Knowledge to the Queen of Grimm.

Taking the relic from her hands, she then notices the girl standing next to her. "And who might this be?"

"This is Neopolitan, your grace." Cinder answered. "She's an... asset in my getting the relic."

At this, Neo rolled her eyes. From there, she noticed the group begin to devolve into bickering and in-fighting, with only the scary woman in black acting as any authority. Suddenly, the wall behind the throne became a window with a clear view of the approaching Atlas. From here, in what she assumed was the head of monstrous Grimm, Atlas seemed so small. She and Roman used to dream of hitting banks here, but now that she was so close, those dreams seemed less interesting, especially without Roman here to share it with.

Then, in the distance, she saw the silhouette of something. Something in the air a distance away. It was too large to be a bird, and it was too small to be an airship. As it drew closer, Neo could see exactly what it was, pointing at it in warning. It was a person, and they were heading right for them.

Smashing through the "window" of the Grimm, a howling, blistering cold wind blustered into the room. The man with the scorpion tail opened fire on the figure hovering over the throne, only to be forced to the ground with a wave of a hand. Then it happened again to Cinder, which brought a smile to Neo's face before she too was forced to the floor. Emerald, Mercury, everyone in the room was forced to kneel to this floating figure.

Except Salem.

"A bit dramatic, don't you think?" The witch asked, standing from her throne to look at the intruder.

"It's necessary." The figure replied in a woman's voice. With a tap, she landed on the floor next to Neo. "Especially since you aren't affected by my semblence."

"Oh? And what's to stop me from ending your semblance?"

"This." In a blink, the relic flew from Salem's grasp and into the stranger's hands. As Salem reached out to destroy her sudden foe, the relic was held between them, in danger of being destroyed. "I'll be taking this, Salem."

"You know my name, but I don't know yours." Her eyes narrowed. "Who are you? Another one of Ozma's soldiers?"

"No. Not anymore." This earned a smirk from Salem. "I will release your soldiers, but they cannot attack me." Cinder was pushed down further into the ground by a boot, leaving the woman straddled over Neo. "Especially this one."

"I cannot speak for them," Salem said, seating herself on her throne again, "but if it means an end to this standstill, then I can give my word that I will not."

Leaping from Cinder's shoulder, causing her to grunt in pain, the woman landed a distance away from the group. Neo stood up quickly but knew better than to act. The others didn't and were ready to strike when Salem raised her hand. Most of them stood down. Most of them.

A fireball flew from Cinder's hand, sending the sphere of inferno hurtling towards the stranger. The woman ducked and rolled underneath, leaping into the Fall Maiden. Magic brought blades to bear as Cinder charged her opponent.

As Neo watched the two duel, she noticed that this was the first time she got a good look at the stranger. Her body was covered completely in red armor, head to toe, with a helmet that spit in the center as a Y for her to see. Neo also noticed that the relic hanging limply from the stranger's hip.

"I am here to usher in a new world." The woman said. "And I have an offer for you, Salem." With a swipe, Cinder was knocked onto her back and sliding across the floor before her queen. The stranger extended her hand. "Join me. End your pointless mission to destroy this world and instead let us create a new one. Together."

Salem was quiet for a moment before giving her answer. "You said you no longer served Ozma. But I can still sense their magic on you." With a glaring red eye, she asked. "Who are you?"

"SHE'S DEAD!" Cinder roared, throwing her hand out to blast her towering foe. However, the woman simply walked through the fire, flames licking over her body, but leaving no scars. Reaching out, she grabbed Cinder's wrist, the heated armor searing into her wrist, making her scream in agony.

"I have one question for you, Cinder Fall." The helmet around her head began to shift and shrink, curling into itself until it formed a ring around her head, like a halo, before stretching to look more like a crown. Green eyes pierced into Cinder's soul as scarlet locks draped over the openings in the crown. Cinder was in too great a shock to gasp. "Do you believe in destiny?"

"Well done." Salem said. "Neo, was it?"

Pyrrha turned away from the reeling Cinder, seeing Neopolitan behind her with the relic in her hands. She'd been so distracted by Cinder she didn't notice the relic leaving her side. And now it was in the hands of Salem once more.

"Now, give it to me."

Neo wasn't sure what was going on in her head in that moment. She was caught between two incredibly powerful people who could easily kill her without a second thought, and in her hands was the only thing keeping them from killing her. She blinked and saw the relic was still in her hands. Looking up, she saw Salem glaring with malice in her red eyes on one side and the suddenly revived Pyrrha pleading with a tenderness in her green eyes. Green eyes just like his.

She made a mad sprint towards the two of them, grabbing Pyrrha by the hand and leading her to the wall she arrived in. She flew in, so she can fly out, right?

"Seize them!"

"Hold onto the relic." Neo then felt arms wrap themselves around her and the ground leave her. The clamoring of killers and psychopaths became distant as cold wind filled her ears instead. Looking around, she saw Atlas getting closer and the massive Grimm she'd just left getting further away.

"Thank you." Pyrrha said, giving a sigh. "I don't know if I could have taken it from Salem twice." There was a silence for some time. "I'm... I'm Pyrrha Nikos, and, well, I'm going to become the new god of Remnant. Would you like to join me, Neo?"

Probably the funnest thing about RWBY is the fact that all of the characters have some form of initial inspiration. They have their own stories and different personalities that make them their own characters, sure, but it’s generally pretty easy to guess who’s based on what from their designs, backstories, and/or fighting styles.

It also leads to a very fun way of describing the series: Little red riding hood and her friends, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast (who’s both at the same time), Goldilocks, Joan of Arc, Thor, Achilles, and Mulan are trained by the Wizard of Oz to fight the brothers Grimm, Cinderella, Aladdin, Hermes, Hansel, Scorpion (from the Scorpion and the Frog), Watson, and Rapunzel.

It's fuckin great actually.
