in other news my husband bought me a new laptop!!!!!!! :)))))) since my macbook is 10 years old and for the last few years has been almost completely unusable(so much of its software and hardware is fucked up and nothing ive tried has fixed its issues, it cant get its iOS updated anymore, it always has to be plugged in to work, and its so slow it cant run more than one program at a time), it is essentially a paperweight. this new laptop is specifically for gaming and he got it for half off (like its normally about $1k but for some reason electronic stores did black friday deals super early) and its brand new, not refurbished, and not an apple (aka shitty) product. he picked it up for me today while i was sleeping so it was just here when i woke up like it was christmas day

ive been customizing stuff on it and playing around with it to get a feel for it. i havent tried to run any games yet but i downloaded witcher 3 (since its a pretty taxing game i think itll be a good performance test), and it installed in like 10 minutes. if that game runs without issue then i bet if i got an extra stick of 8gb ram i could run freaking anything, even games like metro exodus and cyberpunk. altho my desktop PC is an absolute beast and can run any game--my husband built it for me in 2016 for my birthday and even tho it could run cyberpunk surprisingly well with those specs, he recently replaced the graphics card, mother board, and doubled the ram so it's basically a tank of a gaming PC now--i cant take that thing on trips obviously. which i have to do more often than i would like. i really needed a functioning laptop, so im super excited!!!!

in my opinion i dont deserve such a nice thing at all, or even the PC i have, especially because i havent had an income since 2019. but my husband disagrees lol he fuckin rules, i love him. aside from how much he takes care of my chronically ill ass and puts up with my shit, financially supports me, does countless things for me out of pure selflessness, always wants to make me feel good, im always amazed by the thoughtful way he gives me gifts without needing to ( its never my bday or a holiday ykwim). theyre either total surprises to me that blow me away bc the level of attention and care that went into it, or its practical things that hes like "im getting this thing for you bc you need it and you deserve nice tools instead of settling for crap, idc what you think!!!!!!"

he even bought me a brand new iphone too since my iphone is 7yrs old, cant get updated past iOS 12 meaning i cant use or download a ton of apps i rly need and its constantly running out of space and starting to have battery issues. ive been avoiding getting a new one for a long time cuz ive been clinging to having an audio jack but the phone has become so obsolete software-wise that it is more problem than its worth just to have an audio jack. although the new phone has yet to arrive which is frustrating cuz he ordered it 3 weeks ago and it still says its in the order stage, not even shipped.

regardless i feel so sugared rn lmao. im gonna play witcher 3 on this laptop and see how it runs :3

Hello anonymous. Sure thing, i can give you some reccomendations, BUT please know that i am a relative digimon n00b myself, so this may or may not be good advice, but this is what i've learned and maybe it will help.

in terms of digimon youre not missing much if you either choose to only watch the anime or only play the games -- one or the other doesnt really rely on information for the others, so if you want to watch the anime the games are optional and vice versa. they're fun tho.

for anime here is the situation: digimon adventure and digimon adventure 02 are one continuity, and then all subsequent seasons exist in different universes with different rules.

which season i reccomend you watch first depends on what you are looking for in a show to begin with. Adventure is the first season, and generally the one that most people will reccomend you start with. However adventure is very much a purely saturday morning cartoons type show, with a pretty consistent monster of the week formula, weak characters and not the strongest story -- it's really fun, but personally, i really value compelling consistent character writing above pretty much anything else in a show, so as im watching it i get the sense that if i had started htere, i would have stopped 15 episodes in and never watched another digiman again.

i started with digimon tamers (the third season, and first in a new continuity), which is much more character driven + more emphasis on narrative, and if that's what you value like i do, i really reccomend you start there. its really a fun and compelling show. and, since it stands on its own, you don't really need to know the "rules" of digimon very well, or be familiar with any other media in the series to watch it. (BTdubs the rules of digimon change slightly in every continuity so keep on your toes)

ONE more thing i will add before i start listing the orders i reccomend, is that you should really watch the first ever movie before you watch digimon adventure, it is required reading before you watch digimon adventure. You could watch it before tamers too, if you want. its extremely good so you should really just watch it whenevr yoyu want. But make sure to watch it before digimon adventure because digimon adventure takes place in that timeline. and i cannot stress enough that it is insanely good.

SO. FOR the shows, here are my reccomended orders:

If you prefer monster-of-the-week, fun goofy over-the-top 90s shounen played completely straight:

Digimon adventure (the 1999 movie) -> digimon adventure (the 1999 show) -> digimon advnetuer 02 (unvetted i havent gotten this far) -> tamers and continue on chronologically

IF you prefer more character driven, subversion and narrative driven writing:

digimon tamers -> Digimon adventure (the 1999 movie) -> digimon adventure the 1999 show -> digimon adventure 02 and so on and so forth.

Keep in mind as of right now ive only watched tamers and adventure -- everything else is just me filling in the blanks with the knowledge ive gained from my intent research : )

Im unfamiliar with where the 2020 digimon adventure reboot and the tri shows fall on this list but since the reviews ive seen of adventure 2020 are generally unfavorable and tri is like a continuation of the original adventure (I fucking think dont quote me i havetn messed with tri) you should just ignore those for now.

as for the games generally people reccomend digimon world for the psx or one of the more recent installments in the digimon story continuity like cyber sleuth. i've played both and they're great places to start! cyber sleuth can be a slog and digimon world is very obtuse but they're very fun if youre persistent.

[<- guy whos only just caught on to the podcast craze after seeing ppl rave abt it for years] getting into podcasts has been such a good decision actually doing daily chores is sometimes even enjoyable now that i can listen to my little entertaining radio stories do u think ppl know about this. revolutionary. ANYWAY!

- AuDy being uncomfortable with the whole hacking into bots thing :( + the JM unit seeming like it was gaining sentience the more Mako hacked it (+some things that come up a few eps lated re: the way hacking works in this universe). also the JM units are so funny.

- im loving the (what seems to be a) pattern where jack's characters all play so....idk inconspicuously? until they do some off the cuff shit -> AuDy impulsively kidnapping sister rust bc she was just laying there knocked out & they were like oh free ransom. spiritually very similar to lem impulsive staying in death city after being told it would trap him & his friends there purely because he wanted to like go to a museum & also chat with the guy he developed a parasocial relationship with.

- i love the way they're playing this game where theres one party doing the traditional tabletop rpg playing as a group of characters doing their thing & then theres the other party playing as the different factions of the universe itself - the governmental & corporate bodies that rule over the planets. its cool & more than that i didnt think about it before it came up but it is actually quite refreshing to have these sort of pov breaks

- more divine lore yayy! grace is pretty much exactly what i expected but still fun. love that thing that happened with her at the end of the scene where she induced some kind of emotional/psychological (religious) experience in everyone around her by like talking to them in their heads/making them feel physical sensations. her candidate didnt talk or do much in this scene but i liked the glimpse of the like body modifications they undergo in order to connect to the divines. righteousness sounds sooo cool like design wise havent met them yet but they sound appropriately insane. & Lux + Voice + Loyalty is soo interesting. as of the episode ive gotten to they dont seem to have quite decided whether Voice is fully artificial or whether its a legit divine the September Institute hacked & like reprogrammed to their own ends. but the thing about how every time one of the Institute's hackers do their hacking thing its actually Voice influencing the bot/mech/etc was definitely interesting remembering the like very coy hints austin kept giving about the JM unit gaining a little bit more sentience & independence the more Mako hacked it. Loyalty sounds so sweet & nice & also so so gullible poor Loyalty but also extremely thematically fitting of course to make Loyalty so easily blinded & swayed by some attachment to an individual to the point where it clouds their judgement.

Okay so. Again, spoiler alert.

If you havent finished/played the game please dont read this.

Ive seen plenty of times people call the Pale King a coward and now yall aint exactly wrong, but also it's not completely right.

Before anything else here i want to clarify that im not defending him for what he has done.

The dude fucked up. Hard.

So.

Ive seen people antagonize the King (for a good reason okay) and straight up call him a bad person and saying that the game puts him in a bad light in general, but the thing is that the story doesnt want you to think of the events as if it was all black and white.

The Pale King seems like a very stern person, quite strict too and possibly with a very strong tendency to control, to rule, to possess (in the hidden room, the one with the Void tablet, he clearly expresses how Void should be "harnessed", controlled, and in the Path of Pain he mentions how punishment must be necessary to witness "sealed secrets"), so basically not a very open, emotional kind of person, right?

At the end of the Path of Pain we see him look at the Pure Vessel though.

Maybe he cared about his child, and if he didnt, the Pure Vessel surely did.

The idea instilled.

(In some hidden files the Vessel calls him in a dreamnail dialogue while they're still sealed in the Black Egg, In any case its very likely that they both cared for eachother, in a way or another).

So its just safe to assume the dude just kept a cold and strong appereance just for the sake of the Kingdom even when he noticed his plan was going to shit (Wyrms have foresight so there is no way he didnt know) and he still kept sticking to his plan cause that was the last chance they, as a Kingdom, had.

At the very end he ends up escaping in the dream realm, which at first looks like the most coward thing to do.

But if you think about it: the Queen, whose biggest desire is to "spread her seed" and to have a family, ended up giving up on the desire to have other children and to breed because of shame and i believe the King did the same exact thing.

He gave up on trying to control, possess, own and rule altogether because of shame.

And yes, fear.

But most of all shame.

Shame for letting his children die in the Abyss, shame for giving up on the only child who survived, shame for letting his kingdom die when it needed him the most, shame for choosing three dreamers, who were gonna keep the seal strong and protected, and then refusing to back up when even Monomon noticed the plan was not gonna work, shame for upsetting Gods that ended up causing the mess he was trying to fix , shame for putting such weight on his Queen's shoulders, shame for trying to fix issues that started the very first moment he shed his last molt and became who he was until he died.

He decided to disappear so that he would restrain himself from keeping the problems from multiplying.

And yes, this doesnt exactly look or feel right, but it was probably the only thing he had left, possibly the hardest thing too.

I honestly cant stop thinking how good of a character he is, he appears like three/four times in the entire game and he has such depth in characterization its crazy.

So yeah, the Pale King isnt a great person, but i believe that if he had a chance to have a Kingdom without the problems he had to face when he built his own, id almost think he could be a good King. Not a great person per se, just a good King.

And who knows, even a good father.

What are your thoughts on the Sylph of Breath title? i'd love to see an analysis of it :)

ok so sylphs as i see them tend to be the ones who introduce their element to the story in an almost literal sense. basically everything we know about the matriorb and the mother grub is given to us exclusively in the context of kanaya's quest to preserve the species, which was in turn something she has always been in charge of and that she carries with her as a duty, and she functions as basically jade's tutorial for the frog making process, which is again the first time the audience hears of it

similarly aranea is basically a literal exposition fairy whole journal and later entire ass presence exists to introduce lore to the story, even to the point of breaking the golden rules of exposition- she sits there explaining things she already knows, and which the character she's talking to (meenah) ALSO already knows, for no discernible reason, other than because she wants to Give Exposition so bad that she will literally pay others to do so; later, she does her game over timeline bullshit in which she aggresively introduces a lot of information that had been obscured so far (what jake's powers actually do, what would and wouldn't count as just and heroic deaths since vriska's death scene dodged the question) but harnessed to get things to go her way in her big dumb plan

like, we are told sylphs are healers but imo their narrative function is as heralds and keepers of their element- kanaya's arc, introduced by her presence, centers around her duty to continue her species, and aranea's function in the story as concluded by her big proactive move is entirely for the benefit of bringing previously unknown things into certainty, and advancing a stagnant plot into a place of certainty (which IS what she meant to do, she just definitely didnt picture it going like it did lol. aranea's actions DID in fact heal the timeline, by putting it in a position where the ONLY WAY FORWARD was an eleventh hour powerup that escapes everything defined by the story so far, thus forcing John forward in his hero's journey. as a creature of pure function, aranea is successful, her personal downfall is trying to make herself out to be the hero)

...yeah sorry i just rambled about sylphs for a while there, i just realized i technically never elaborated on why i talk about sylphs like i do lol

anyways, like i rambled about before, breath is kind of the aspect of narrative contrivance. ive never really mentioned why im so certain of this other than john and tavros' arcs supporting that thesis, but well

wind/breeze/breath really HAS been consistently depicted as the aspect which almost literally embodies "the story bails you out via handwaves" and i do believe john's arc as a heir of breath consists of him being nurtured and carried by his element until the time comes when he must BECOME his element in service of everyone else as well as the story itself

all of that said, a sylph of breath is. when taken as a narrative function, someone who introduces narrative contrivance and mantains its presence, i can't help but think of it as being almost literally just a Deus Ex Machina character lol

i mean, as aranea showed, on a meta level sylphs have a ridiculous narrative power in that they can basically function as the conduit for an author to literally dump whatever element is necessary to keep the story going, and breath is often this same principle but applied in action; a sylph of breath can very well be a double whammy of Get Out Of Jail Free Card for the writer

note that i dont literally mean sylphs have metanarrative powers, i dont think anyone has actual literal metanarrative powers (...again disclaimer i havent read the epilogues and im not taking them into account), just that they can be the sort of character that the author can use as a conduit for a lot of problemsolving. like, characters dont literally introduce elements to the story, authors use characters to introduce elements to the story. aranea didnt literally create the cherub's lore, but her role in the story is such that it is from her mouth that we first hear it, and it is her nature that we never need to question where SHE learned it. in-universe she is repeating information that already existed, but on a meta sense she is being used to introduce information to the story that previously did not exist within it, and it's not a coincidence she is how we are introduced to the existence of the ancestors into the story both as mindfang and in the dreambubbles.

the ones who get the closest to awareness of the narrative conventions they represent are, fittingly enough, light players, and even they seem more than content to just play their role out (the only hiccups being when their role turns out not to be what they thought it was)

breath tends to break the rules tho so like. im just saying. if there was ever a character whose introduction broke the percieved rules of a story so hard that the entire perception of that story's mechanics has to retroactively change to acommodate for it, it would probably be a sylph of breath? lmao

This might be a super dark question, but if beating up Low-Tiers is so acceptable in unORDINARY's world/society, then are more severe crimes performed by High-Tiers excused as well? (Rape, Armed-Robbery, ETC.) so long as a Low-Tier/Cripple is the victim? (Or does the law step in at that point regardless of the Attacker's rank?......). Sorry if this is somehow an problematic topic, It's just been a question that's been eating at me ever sense I read the story and got to start analyzing it! ^^

Sorry its like months late lol

But this prompt is actually an interesting one. In the UnOdinary world, the limits of what is acceptable by society and what is not is difficult to comprehend purely based on the complete difference in natures of the UnO universe and our own. Because people have abilities in the UnOrdinary world, laws and government obviously have to be amended to include limitations and restrictions regarding these items, which leaves us readers to wonder exactly what those rules are.

So far, we havent outright gotten a layout of what is socially acceptable or legally acceptable for our UnOrdinary characters, but we’ve gotten many hints or references. I think I can piece together what the laws regarding tier, ability, and power are.

I want to first address what can be understood and easily comprehended from even the most limited look into UnOrdinary: the obvious bias and favor of those with power. The whole premise for the UnOrdinary hierarchy and societal structure is that those with power are on top. They’re the ones running the game. Those with power are in charge. They make the rules. At least in day to day matters. For instance, we have no idea if politicians and world leaders have to be the most powerful, but at schools and remember that bomb lady from the mall from the beginning of the comic?? That kind of stuff. And also likely government too, don’t count that out.

Obviously, if someone with lot of power (ability-wise) is in charge, the rules, or maybe a better word is expectations, are going to be somehow biased upon that. Maybe not all, but total fairness is completely impossible to expect. A rule in the UnOrdinary universe that demonstrates this bias is that those with more power are expected to repeatedly establish themselves as dominant over anyone below them in the hierarchy. I’m not actually sure if this rule is the best example of hierarchical bias because I mean it isn’t some far fetched idea. it makes sense for this to be implemented into the UnOrdinary universe, not only from high-tiers, because establishing hierarchy reaffirms who should lead, it exposes the strongest. It prevents situations like Wellston students under Rei’s reign (I struggled with wording that :/). But for that very reason, it could also fit under a power bias so yeah.

So basically, there’s this definite bias towards those with power, even if everyone agrees that that’s the way it should be. Is that still a bias? I’m not sure. note: Rei is an outlier here, and, to be honest, almost everywhere. It’s natural for people to look to those more powerful for leadership and guidance.

Anyway. Those with power are encouraged to show it by publicly defeating those weaker than them. That’s probably the easiest thing to understand if you’ve read the story. Hell, the main sport in the UnOrdinary world is trying to defeat someone in combat (Which I’m actually getting more and more intrigued by... is this sport just something in schools? Is there a professional league? Is there any Olympics? Then the winner would just be the most powerful person in the world, right? Anyway. That’s off topic for this post lol).

Something that I’ve noticed, though, is that the higher tiers don’t always act like they think what they’re doing is right. Let me explain. In episode 2, John approaches Gavin, a kid who is bullying someone that obviously has a lower ability than he does. Because of UnOrdinary’s structure, by the rules of the universe, if what I’ve said previously is correct, Gavin shouldn’t feel like what he is doing is wrong. He should just think what he is doing is regular and actually encouraged. However, after John approaches him and tells him to back off of the other boy, Gavin asks: “Trying to play hero, huh?”

Now, personally, that threw me off. The use of the word hero by Gavin in reference to John completely contradicts what core knowledge I thought we’d establishished already (excuse my dramatic ass lol). If high-tiers are allowed to prey on anybody weaker then themselves, why would Gavin use the word hero, indirectly calling himself a villain, during the scene. If what he is doing is acceptable in UnOrdinary society, why would he be the villain?

Obviously: it means that what Gavin was doing was not acceptable by common social standards. I think this means that there is some sort of line between what is allowed and what is not. Maybe to what extent showing dominance is tolerated. Because there is a line. But so far, I’ve gotten nowhere. This is where the question started, where I started.

I do think, however, that this example I’ve brought up is a very good demonstration of the answer we’re trying to find, even though it comes from the very first chapters, maybe from a period where uru-Chan had not yet decided the laws of the world she’d created. There’s also loads of other examples of the hierarchy forming through domination (after note: not sure what this means lol i forgot what i was trying to say but it looks cool so I’ll keep it kjdbsfksjb) such as when Arlo lured John out into that clearing, or when The mid-tiers captured Seraphina. There’s a lot more, but I’m not about to list every single example lol. Also, however, there is a lot of evidence of authorities or other people stepping in to break apart fights or stop someone from getting beaten up. Darren did this for John before in the scene where his nightmare power was first introduced to us. Darren also stopped Blyke and Isen from fighting at the very beginning, when Blyke broke Isen’s pen.

But I haven’t found any scene that disagrees with that initial Gavin scene, so I’m going to be using that for my main evidence even though by looking at all of the examples for everything I’ve used above, whenever someone fought someone else, it was students, and whenever tried to break it up, it was a teacher or an authority. I’ve decided to rule out the possibility that as a general rule students aren’t supposed to be harming each other because of pure base knowledge about the UnOrdinary world. There’s too much evidence to cite and put in here. I- I don’t think I have to, honestly. if you’re this far down in the post, it’s like a fact that you’ve read the comic and understand enough about it to know what I’m talking about. More likely, battles between two people are okay, as long as it is established that it is a fight for a place in hierarchy. In episode 125, when John, as Tuesday, approaches Isen looking pretty, well, pretty scary, Isen waves him off and says, “I don’t have time for a rank-match right now.” A rank-match. The word implies that a fight would be one purely for the purpose of seeing who is stronger, seeing who outranks the other. This is what I believe the acceptable form of fighting in the UnOrdinary world. As long as the battle is clearly to establish authority, it’s okay. We see this in Turf Wars, and even when Arlo first becomes king and absolutely annihilates everyone. Then, Arlo was just trying to prove his dominance over them, showing them that they had to listen to him because they were not above him. The excessive amounts of bullying and assault behind closed doors obviously evolved as a bit of a bad side effect of the concept.

The bullying concept is one I’m saying is similar to the situation in our world. The real world lol. It’s not allowed. But it’s everywhere and most students have accepted it. You know how some of the high-tiers shrug it off whenever they see something happening to a low-tier? It’s because it’s expected. The accepted societal rule that higher-tiers are meant to establish their ranks by fighting their way up the chain feeds as the core idea for higher-tiers shitting on lower-tiers, so it’s not like bullying is some random thing happening, it has, like i said, evolved from that basic fact of the UnO universe.

So: bullying is not allowed, but is common (like our own world)

And,

Basically: fighting is only acceptable (by everyone) when the fight establishes rank.

More specific to your question, however, is other crimes such as rape and robbery as done by high-tiers to lower-tiers. There are little to no examples of such things happening in the UnOrdinary universe that we’ve been shown so it’s a very good question and yet a very difficult topic to discuss. I did not spend all this time talking about limits that high-tiers can go to when opposing lower-tiers for no reason, though.

Because of what I’ve already said, I think it’s pretty safe to rule out the possibility that it is legal to rob or rape in any circumstance, if even some fighting is off limits. Y’all, if teachers step in sometimes when someone was getting bullied, do you think that if they knew someone was being raped, they would shrug and accept it? No.

There are already examples of people stepping into situations that aren’t allowed. A better example of this, though, is when the superhero posse, a.k.a. Remi, Blyke, and Isen, a.k.a. I’m pretty sure I have another name for them that is like detective themed but I can’t remember it right now, yeah them, when they go to the mall that one time and the whole incident with the ability gauge happens. The cops bust them for setting of a smoke bomb (later cleared, but that’s what they thought at the time.) I would also bring up Levani, and how John stepped up to her, but that was basically just the whole bullying thing I explained earlier, just on a bigger scale. And we all know that John has been kind of an outlier when it comes to accepting bullying like the rest of the student community has.

So, I believe I’ve answered this question well. I know my answer might be a bit basic and obvious but the other answer isn’t exactly one people would like to see, is it? Lol. Anyway, feel free to put your opinion on this too. Debunk me, please that would be fun lol.

As an extra thought to this post as a whole: the whole suspicious situation with the authorities doesn’t really interfere with this, I just want to clear this up. There’s been this background plot going on, we all know, and one of the factors is that it is likely that the authorities keep the hierarchy and enforce it so that the high-tiers will stay under their control. Either the hierarchy a. Distracts high-tiers by giving them responsibility (Remi, episode 50) or b. Gives them power so that they don’t fight for it. Maybe both. Probably both. Anyway, I already said that we don’t know exactly the situation with governmental positions and politicians, or those head authorities (or whoever’s on top of that). But this post doesn’t really rely on why the hierarchy exists as much as the fact that it does.

Voting out Chrissa was probably one of the hardest votes I've ever had to encountered, and it honestly really hurts. For me, voting her out was the best strategically because we talked the least. And by the time tribal started, I ended up in alliances of 3 with Will & Megan and JJ & Julian respectively. Given the ranking system, we are all expecting some sort of tribe swap, which might be best for my game so long as I have someone else on my tribe with me. However, JJ recently got into a lot of trouble. Stuff about sending nudes because he "perceived there to be consent". Yikes. Apparently other people know about it too, which makes sense because this call happened in tengaged about it. We are thinking he might be removed, but we don't know what's to happen yet. I think most of us are running under the assumption that he'd be voted out next tribal should he not be removed. It's pretty gross what he did, and I definitely won't be aligned with him any longer.

I am happy JJ is out of the game, both because he deserves it based on his behavior and because one less number. The tribe challenge has me worried. I hope it is a challenge with Zach representing us, because he is good and it also keeps him a bigger target than me. If it's a swap, I'm very nervous and will probably have to paint myself as being on the outs if I end up in a minority, which would almost certainly happen relative to the other two tribes. Holy shit so we've had a tribe swap and two removals. Both kinda shocking and completely out of the blue what had happened. So we lost :( It really sucks bc i put more effort into my lip sync than I think I ever have before. And of course with losing comes tribal, the first tribal for some people on my new tribe. I don't think I've done a confessional since we swapped so I'll just run down how I feel about everyone. Monty/Abby - Just gonna bunch these two together since they were on my original tribe. While they weren't in my alliance, I bonded with them like I bonded with everyone on An. We made an alliance immediately at Ea and I feel real good about facing this swap with them. Part of me does worry they knew about that original alliance and they'll throw me under the bus though. Will - Okay so I was completely blindsided by the fact that I already knew Will before the game! We played at least 1 ORG together and I remember him a little bit from just being in the community. I feel like I've really hit it off with him again and working with him feels natural. He was the first one who threw Cameron out as a vote to me last night and a lot of people really latched onto that plan. So he's definitely charismatic and influential. Eric - I've known Eric for quite some time actually. He's someone who's very easy for me to trust. Like I really hope I'm not getting the wrong read on him but he just feels honest in our conversations. He did kinda suck in the music video challenge tho LOL so I feel like he could be in danger if we go to tribal again. Cameron - They're who I'm voting out tonight. I've had no contact with them outside of the tribe chat at all. And our interactions in the tribe chat I just feel...idk like every time I talk they give me some snide remark. Zach even told me that Cameron barely spoke to him and Collin on their original tribe. So it just feels easy, if a bit TOO easy, like I'm scared it's secretly me somehow. So I guess the upside to anxiety is you never get blindsided cuz you always think it's you. Zach - I've been talking to him more often these last few days and he is wayyy smarter than most 15 year olds I've interacted with. He knew it was Cameron immediately when I started talking to him about the vote (Though I suspect it's because Will told him). He's told me more info about his original tribe than I really thought I'd get out of him. He's basically telling me that it was Zach/Collin/Kyle vs. Cameron/The rest of the newbies. So like it makes sense that he's willing to just let Cameron go. However this situation is worrying because Zach's position is almost EXACTLY my position in a game I played very recently (703 San Andres). I've seen firsthand how a competent duo in the minority can upset the majority if just one person in that majority makes a mistake. So I'm not gonna promise Zach anything just yet, I don't want him to sell me out. But I would like to see him stick around even if we lose another time. Collin - Okay I REALLY like Collin. He's super nice, he basically compliments me every time I talk to him. Which is nice, but I know he's playing that social game. And he's playing it WELL. I think if all goes well at tribal, then I'm gonna talk to Collin about really working together going forward. Basically my overarching plan on this tribe has been to make sure that if my name comes up, there will always be someone to shut it down. And I really feel like Collin, Monty, and Eric would especially keep me safe.

Cameron left.......it sucks, because it takes away my options, but among the Enki's it is the least bad scenario, since I was closer with Collin and Zach. I don't hold it against them for voting against Cameron, do what you gotta do, but I am nervous for them. I'm not throwing any challenges or anything, but I hope they survive, and I'm less nervous about myself losing than them

Have I mentioned that I love winning? It's just so great that nobody knows me and Monty are working together and we're subtly pulling the strings - Jay thinks he came up with Cameron's name, great he's the mastermind now and we can target him. Collin and Zach want to form a four with me and Eric - great, that keeps me and Monty apart so nobody will know and we can still vote separately. Eric's an easy target for everyone so we (Monty) just get the other returnees to target him (if we lose again) and then I can use that to flip Eric on Abby or Jay and it's just... so delicious. It's so easy to take everyone out one by one when nobody knows that you have a solid F2 already.

I have talked about this in the past, but there is a really big soft spot in my heart for romance anime. I love romance anime, I will occasionally jump from show to show for a while, just wallowing in the stuff. I think its the drama of them, but also like, usually they’re about falling in love in middle school, and trying to make it work, and I’ve been dating the same girl since i was 13 so like, that shit resonates with me on a deeeeeep level. figuring out how you feel about girls, while also trying to figure out how you feel about A girl, beauty.

I also have talked about how I have a deep deep love of arcade fighting games, like a mild addiction to arcade fighting games, like I build fighter pads,

and for a hot minute I also made a few super guns so I could play LEGIT versions of those games at home. (for the uninitiated super guns look like this)

that cable is a JAMMA harness, that connects to the JAMMA edge on an arcade board, and the box is for you to plug in controllers, and plug it into your tv. its an arcade game console....I have since mostly moved over to a MAME console built off of a raspberry pi and my dreamcast, because collecting arcade boards is a very expensive hobby to have, and have since sold off most of my boards....I also had a consolized MVS, and had a couple of neo geo games, but I quit that fast, 150 bucks for a dang cartridge is stupid, no version of king of fighters is worth that

our main dude is Haruo Yaguchi a young man who is dismal in various facets of life: He's not academic, not athletic, and not very attractive. The only thing he's got going for him is an insane amount of mad gamer skills. He rules the arcade scene as "Beastly Fingers Yaguchi ", until he meets his match during a fateful encounter with Akira Oono while playing Street Fighter II. Undeterred, he seeks to challenge and one day out play her, considering her his rival.While he starts off as a snarky brat with an ego bigger than any winning streak he could rack up in Street Fighter, he eventually grows out of it. However, he never abandons his dedication and love for gaming, which almost borders on unhealthy obsession. On the bright side, this pure passion for gaming is what leads him to finding some of his closest friends. and then theres the main love interest Oono

The daughter of the Oono zaibatsu, Oono is rich, popular, and multi-talented -- the polar opposite of Haruo. However, in attempt to escape the strict educational regimen she faces at home, she sneaks away every so often to play in game centers where she showcases her exceptional gaming skills.She initially encounters Haruo during a match of Street Fighter II, and from then on bonds with him over their mutual love for gaming. She never talks, and communicates solely through gestures and facial expressions.

I will say the fact she doesnt talk is kinda problematic to me personally, but hey, no story is perfect, and her being silent is offset byyyyyyyyyyy

Koharu Hidaka,

who is the left leg in the love triangle, and IMHO a much stronger character than Oono, but....well we’ll get to that later.

She’s a girl in Haruo's class throughout junior high. Goes to an all-girl school with Onizuka throughout high school. Previously an introverted girl who spent much of her time studying alone, she develops into a more sociable person and develops an interest in gaming after spending time with Haruo over a new Neo Geo MVS that gets installed in front of her family's store.She has a natural instinct for fighting games, which transforms her into a powerful force to be reckoned with as both a gamer, and a rival for Haruo's affections. After a fateful showdown at her and Haruo's usual stomping grounds, she developed a bit of a sadistic side whenever Haruo's around. This frightening skill garnered the attention of the "Mizonokuchi Force" leader, Nikotama, who helped Koharu truly awaken her love for fighting games.

she sort of gets side tracked by some stuff in highschool, and takes a weird turn...but again we’ll get to that

so this show is fucking amazing

I binged it in one night, and I loved it so much, that I actually went out and read a bunch of scanulations of the manga because the show pulls A GOD DAMN INUYASHA and just stops at the half way point. i havent hunted down the manga side of a show to finish it since Suzuka, another love triangle romance anime....hmmmm

the entire show is on netflix as an original series and its animated in this really cool CGI/ cell shaded look that feels like oldschool anime, but also like an old mmo or something, its weird, but so so so so good.

please stop now and go watch every moment of it, trust me you will love it

so I want to talk about the second half, which I experienced via manga, manga from less than great websites, and because....my experience is via scanulations and sometimes those are less than reliable, anyway, they fall into some sort of gang arcade scene in shibuya in the second half, which is weird, and its painted pretty weird in the manga, but I think the show will sort it out more when the OVA comes out in march, yes netflix is going to finish it with 3 OVA’s which I assume are going to be like 45 minutes to an hour each

anyway, in the manga I dont really like what they did to Hidaka once they get into the gang stuff, she got really angry, and sad, and sadistic, which I mean....she didnt do anything to deserve that heel turn. but hey, this show is amazing, and the manga is amazing and the ending IS FUCKING WORTH IT and I have eaten up about 40% of your dash, really sorry phone users, but hey. I do what I do in the name of good animes, and I feel like I had to make up for that sack of crap I gave you all the other night

SERIES (ASS BACKWARDS): Part I, Part II, Part III

SUMMARY: Superficial beauty never mattered much in the long run, especially if someone was a piece of shit on a slice of white bread.

This is the last part of this series. I’m not for sure when the sequel will be up, but I’m gonna aim for ‘soon’.

Whistling cheerily, holding a few boxes of pizza, under the cover of the night, Wade skipped along the broken and uneven stone steps of Cloverfield Lane.

“Are you fucking serious right now, author?”

Don’t be a pain in the ass and just go with it!

“Okay, okay. I guess since I gotta...”

Feeling all over his body, he used his free hand to slap his forehead, muttering ‘Duh!’ underneath his breath. Leaning down, Wade kicked over a rock and grabbed the key which had gotten embedded in the dirt. Twisting the key in the lock, the chain hit the ground and he pulled on the handle of the warehouse door.

“Help me! Someone help me! HELP!”

Taking his sweet time, Deadpool closed the warehouse door, not bothering with the lengthy process of making sure it was locked from the inside. Gathering up the pizzas in his hold again, he walked down the rickety stairs at a leisurely, sedate pace.

“How ya doing, Don Lothario, having fun, just hangin’ around down here?”

Admittedly, he probably, maybe, had overdone it.

The captive had his hands handcuffed and feet bound with rope, a makeshift noose around his neck, which was wrapped around the nail which had been quickly pierced to the wooden frame behind his head; in front of the captive were two keys, which he’d been led to believe were his ticket to freedom.

“I’m never going to tell you where she is. Never, hehehehe. Never!!! You hear me, you crazy piece of shit?!”

Flipping the lid off of one box, revealing mushroom and pineapple pizza, nonchalantly, Wade pulled at the edges of his mask a little so that his mouth is revealed, and he took a generous bite. Pretending not to notice when his prisoner couldn’t stop staring at the pizza in his hand, “You will,” It’s said with absolute surety and then he took another bite, making an obnoxious sound of enjoyment. “Want some?” Holding out the slice that he’d bitten off of.

“I know what you’re doing and it ain’t gonna work.”

He shrugged. “Okay then. More for me.” Flipping open the boxes of the other pizzas, the merc whipped out his favorite switchblade, stabbing at a slice of cheese pizza before bringing it closer...and closer...to his mouth.

“Fucking feed me!”

“You just said you weren’t hungry, Joey. No take backs, sorry.” Then because he was a shit, he ate that slice of cheesy pizza too. Once finished, he looked up and nearly busted a gut laughing, almost falling out of his fold up chair, at the affronted look on the guy’s face. “You’re really terrible at this game, Sammy. Absolutely no poker face. It makes me wonder why your bosses didn’t just kill you before it got to this point?”

“When my brother hears about this...”

“Ah! Now we’re getting to the nitty gritty of the matter!”

“When my brother finds out about how you’ve been treating me, he’s going to take it out on your lady friend, asshole.” For a single second, Deadpool paused. “Yeah. Maybe beat her up, bruise that pretty ski--AAAAHHHHHH!” The knife embedded itself in his leg. He screamed, flopping about gracelessly.

“Rule number one of Deadpool’s DayCare.” Pushing the blade in a little more, relishing how the screams hit another level. “‘Show some goddamn respect to your caretaker.’” Roughly removing the blade, he once again ignore the sobbing. Instead, he wiped the blood on the guy’s crusty, grimy shirt. “Do you know what the shitty part of being happy is? Hm?”

“Please...No...” The serrated edge of the blade caressed his cheek, the cool metal producing chill bumps.

“There’s always that one jealous bastard ready and willing to snatch someone’s bit of happiness away.” There’s a pause and the energy in the room became charged with hostility. “You took my happiness, my light, the only good thing I have left in this world. So I’m going to take your life away.”

“No. No. No. Wait, wait. No. NO. NOOOOOO!”

There’s a wet squelching sound and then...silence.

Breathing heavily, Wade kept eye contact with the useless waste of space, as he gagged and choked to death on his own blood. As the light left his eyes, the merc’s shoulders hunched up with agitation before he just snapped.

He overturned a table, the chair, threw the pizzas around the room.

Ripping his mask off, he pressed the heels of his hands against his eyes, a choked off sob clogging his throat.

Nearly overcome with despair as he was, that didn’t mean he was deaf. The warehouse door opened noisily. Putting back on his mask, Deadpool checked to see if he was carrying his guns (the incident with Dopinder never need be repeated) and he was.

If someone had found him, then they were going to d--

“Shit, Wilson, turn on a damn light in here, would ya?”

“WOLVIE!!” Flying up the stairs, he launched himself at the feral, unsurprised to get an adamantium fist to the jaw. “’ou ‘ame (Translation: You came)!” Wade’s jaw was dislocated and it stung like a bitch but that was irrelevant. “’Emmmy! ‘Ou ‘oo!!! (Translation: Remy! You too!!)”

“Looks like you started the party without us, mon ami.” Playing with his cards, Remy’s red on black gaze is, as always, hidden by his signature bowler hat. The hellish stare is pointedly glancing at the slumped corpse.

“I wasn’t for sure if the Professor would let you two out past bedtime. Ow, shit, fuck a duck.” Gingerly, he pressed his fingertips to the tender area. “You still hit like a train, Wolvie.”

“Did this other douche at least have an inkling of where your girl is?” Logan was not going to give into any baiting.

“Well...” Like a kid with caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Wade poked his fingers together, an air of guiltiness about him.

Remy sighed and Wolverine pinched the bridge of his nose. “Luckily for you, we know where she’s supposed to be moved. Let’s get the fuck out of here. It stinks.”

“Why didn’t you just lead with that? Let’s go!”

Drip-drip-drip.

The room is cold and dark. You’re strapped down to a metal slab and wearing only a hospital gown. Pumped to the gills full of drugs, you go in, then out of consciousness.

“You know, you’re only experiencing pain like a human is because that’s what you’ve tricked your brain into thinking.” The man, this sadist, who’s been assigned to break you, methodically uses his instruments to produce the most pain with the least amount of effort. “That you’re one of us. But you’re not. You’re not. If you were human...you would have died hours ago.”

You had learned less than five minutes in, underneath his ‘tender’ mercies that there isn’t any reasoning with this maniac, he’s a mutant hater and an advocate for wanting the genocide of anyone not purely or totally American (i.e. white).

‘I’m going to die here.’

Perhaps it’s selfish but you didn’t want Wade to find your body. The two of you had been together almost five months, gotten closer and slowly, he brought his friends to meet you. You are certain that you loved him but couldn’t bring yourself to say it aloud, even though you tried to show it with your actions.

“Oh.” He sounded genuinely surprised. “You’re crying.”

A short scream, turned into a wheeze, escaped your clenched teeth when he poked at something delicate.

“Don’t do something so human. It’s unnatural.”

His voice sounded far away, reverberating in your ears then became overlapped by another’s. Blinking slowly, you try to focus but it’s difficult.

Be human. Be human. Don’t let them find out. Be human.

“Oh ho! Now we’re getting somewhere.”

The door is thrown open and a man? Enters. “The Avengers are here. We gotta move, now, Doc.”

“I’m not finished with my patient, Mr. Rumlow.”

“You can find other mutants to torture and study. You’ve been paid alot of money by HYDRA which means--”

An explosion rocks the building.

“I’m not leaving without it! Let GO o--”

There are two gunshots fired and the sadist hits the floor. The man, Rumlow, approaches your side, a gun raised to your temple.

“Good night, Princess.”

Take my life. When you wake...

Just as he squeezed the trigger, the bullet impossible to dodge at this angle... You closed your eyes, accepting that this was the end. The door bursts open again, revealing Captain America, who immediately flung his shield at the HYDRA operative’s gun.

The bullet only grazes you.

Eyes opening again, heart still beating in your chest rapidly. Too rapidly. Glancing to the left, you see that your torturer has enough strength to inject you with something.

Your heart begins to beat rapidly. Faster and faster. Trying to get air is an exercise in futility. Vision going grey around the edges, you try to croak out ‘Help’ but you can’t and fall backwards onto the metal slab again.

Everything goes dark.

okay gosh where do i start? hes a nerd. hes a giant massive nerd, let me tell you that first and foremost. more on that later

where do i start? from the beginning i guess? im a super anxious person, as anyone that knew me for more than 1 minute can tell, but when i met him i was super comfortable w him? i was still anxious as fuck, but also comfortable and happy to be around him. when i went bowling for my birthday i wanted to invite him but i was too anxious bc i was like ‘aaaa we interact sometimes on tumblr but idk if he considers us friends?? would an invite be weird??’ except my friend leo who was driving us and also introduced us got me and asked him for me and the pure joy on my birthday, man. there were also a couple other ppl, and everyone was fun, but like, when the 3 ppl we were with got up to get drinks i stayed at the table w him and my brain was like okay i mean im keeping him company right? WRONG i just loved listening to him talk. i still do. a lot. and while we were bowling we were talking and i just naturally hanged around him while waiting for our turns and aaaaa. (i came last place and he came fourth and we shared the pain of losing.) we played games afterwards and he kicked my ass at like, air hockey? is that the name? we did like two or three games and he absolutely destroyed me but i had fun. we also played ddr! we both terribly wanted to play it and i was like “oh my god YES you understand me”. i absolutely sucked at that too but also like, i dont like doing any kind of exercising for physical activity in front of other ppl because im super selfconscious but also i sweat a lot dancing and i was awful, but i was absolutely comfortable since i was playing w him. i had a lot of fun.

we started meeting up for dnd sessions and hanging out irl more and chatting more often and look where we are now. im so happy

SO that was talking abt him as in irl and stuff, but i havent actually talked ABT him so hold onto ur seats.

hes absolutely amazing. hes smart and brilliant, hardworking, hes studying to become an astrophysicist and if anyone can do it its him! hes p much top of his class, his teachers all love him esp bc his classmates are a buncha rich spoiled kids that dont rly seem to try that hard and not all even know the rules of grammar and logic, but even outside of what his classmates are like he absolutely deserves the praise and recognition. hes amazing. hes clever and hes also funny as heck, everytime we have a dnd session he makes me die one way or the other man, the pearls he comes up with. in one of our dnd groups hes also the only one with a pinch of sense and logic, esp in our old dnd group… i love leo and like his sister, but man. and i absolutely despise luca so nbd hes a goddamn idiot. so like, dylans my saving grace to not go crazy

hes so sweet and thoughtful? hes too sweet to me. and he says he isnt sweet in general just sweet to me and i melt. and hes so respectful and hes so helpful, when im rly anxious about something he helps me out a lot and he remembers stuff thats important to me sometimes even if i mentioned it just a couple times offhandedly and he thinks about me and helps me and aaaaaa im so lucky

hes so charming???? and he denies it as he denies that hes good at flirting but he flirts so well and he speaks french to me and i die. i just get so red and i hide my face in the nearest thing - my hands, a pillow, the goddamn wall - and try not to squeal. he uses pet names for me that make my heart skip a beat and hes just so chill and charismatic. i have butterflies in my stomach and any time we hang out or go on a date im all excited and giddy. i die when he speaks french, the other day we were in the bookstore and he opened a french book and read to me a bit and i had to physically take the book and put it back because he killed me. im dead. i love when he speaks french

hes such a nerd!!!! he names his devices and he names them and stuff after constellation bc hes a space nerd, and a sea nerd, and anytime he talks abt either (or othee stuff hes passionate about) hes so alive, i could sit down and listen to him talk for the rest of my life. plus his eyes sparkle then!!

okay i need a new paragraph for his eyes. they sparkle when hes passionate and its amazing. i thought that was a fiction thing!! i never actually saw it irl!! until i met him!! and his eyes sparkle and its breathtaking. and his eyes are just so pretty. theyre brown and theyre amazing. plus like. we hung out over the summer too okay and there was this one night where we were eating food on a bench and the sun was going down and i was looking at him as we talked and i saw the glint of the lampposts and the lights of the shops and a hint of the sunrise all in his eyes and i had to force myself to focus on our words bc its fuckin cheesy but i was getting lost in his eyes.

his laugh is amazing and it fills my heart. anytime he laughs im happy, and when I make him laugh its the best thing in the world, i feel blessed and lucky. his smile is radiant and its a wonderful sight, and i like buying and offering him stuff because making him happy is gr8 and i feel fulfilled when i do.

hes also hella athletic. like he has no regards for danger and apparently a lotta fuckin pain tolerance and sometimes im hella worried about stuff but on the bright side hes like… spiderman. one day we were on the rocks at the pier and since im not rly athletic and also kinda scared he leant down a little and looked at the best easiest path so i wouldnt have a hard time and he absolutely did a spiderman pose. (plus ANY time we go on the rocks, he makes sure i want to, and he looks for the best way so it wont be too difficult for me and he asks me if its okay for me and just generally makes sure its gonna be easy and fun for me too, plus he holds my hand and helps me out too and its just an amazing time in general.) i forgot what i was saying. OKAY YEAH hes good at athletic stuff and hes done a buncha sports and he does karate and hes rly good and whenever he shows me smth i die bc im rly pan and somehow seeing him do karate is rly attractive???? altho like. hes a strong boy and i have a weakness for strong ppl, man. (one of the first times we hung out he told me a buncha cool stories of his past where he kicked the ass of some assholes and then later he texted me and he was? worried he scared me??? and i was just sitting there like i have Never been more attracted to someone)

also hes adorable with his cat. like his cat is an absolute cutie obvs but put together theyre killing me. whenever he sents a pic w the two of them its beautiful but also i love when i go over and he cuddles her or plays with her or babytalks to her because hes so cute theyre so cute its the most adorable sight aaaaaaaAAAAAA MY HEART

Havent been able to verify Ms Sacilottos information, but she volunteered her contact details and phone number if The Pie wanted a chat about the matter (which for reasons well known to regular readers, is not a viable option since the recent operation.) But The Pie would guess there will be whole lot more to the meaning of community engagement when Mayor Mullet reads this. it is known that Jenny Hill does not like being crossed by people with legal rights who stand in the way of her grand visions, so this community engagement with Ms Sacilotto could involve nipple clamps, a car battery and wet towels . But That May Be The Least Of Her Problems Cant reveal too much at the moment, but our mayor is being officially investigated possible misconduct over her Adani links, particularly arising out of her trip to India. This will not be a revelation on her, because she has been informed of the issue by the Brisbane based investigating body, and what is officially termed overt inquiries are underway. But for other reasons, the story raised both an eyebrow and a guffaw at the same time. Chef/restaurateur Matt Merrin, normally a sensible and successful man, made a right goof of himself when he (reportedly) told the paper the changes would transform Palmer Street into a world class destination. It will be something that visitors to Townsville can Instagram, take photos of and sell the message to the world. Its going to bring new investment back to Palmer Street (question: how does new investment come back?) Weve had many restaurants close over the last 12 months, this will inspire new restaurant owners and people to come back into Palmer Street and be part of the precinct it once was. A world class destination? Matt, a message from The Magpie, mate lay off the cooking sherry and exotic herbs before talking to the Astonisher (FFS, mate, youre even holding your glass crooked.) The story also informs us The dining strip received some upgrades during the preparations for the Commonwealth Games last year. Oh did it? Very similar upgrades in scale to the ones now proposed , as The Pie remembers. So in the year since that spruce up, two Palmer Street nose-baggeries have gone belly-up. But somehow, this one is going to usher in a new era? Hows that? But heres the best bit in the original story, Ann-Maree Greaney said the lighting would keep people, particularly women, safer that apparent admission that the council has allowed Palmer Street to operate without adequately safe lighting for years has now been removed from the story. What fucking planet are you from, you lot? Reporter Chris Lees, have you no dignity? Or sober judgement? Did TCC media gopfer Simpo Templeton have anything to do with this, its about his speed? Well, anyway Anthony, unlike the when at the Astonisher, at least in your TCC role you dont have to put your name to your cock-ups. 3. Off The Rails Then on Thursday, we had this little bit of fluffy irrelevancy.

But shit folks, heres a newsflash for more 60 years now, real time lower screen captioning has been available, or as all sports directors so slickly employ technology for a smaller, less distracting vision box to one corner. To currently give such a minority a so distracting and undignified presence is not necessary and lacks dignity, and disturbs concentration on what can be vital messages. Of course, nanny staters wont agree. Speaking Of The Nanny State Our evolving language, not always for the better, now features the term woke, as in are you woke to climate change? or any number of other social issues. It means are you alert to, but as so often happens, we too readily adopt the argot of the ill-educated as some sort expression of being cool and identifying with a group one wouldnt normally break bread with. The lovely thing about this nonsensical use of substitute language leaves it wide open for hysterically funny skewering and in this classic piss take Are You Woke? from a fed up Tracey Ullman. The Clock Is A-Ticking The Brexit imbroglio is increasingly hard to follow (or for The Pie, to care much about) but one of the cleverest pictorial comments the predicament of Theresa (dis)May(ed) comes from the Guardians Steve Bell.

it happened. god knows why so many of you are here, but apparently you like what i do, so... well, thank you! to everyone! but this is a very informal follow forever meant specifically for people i speak to regularly/people i consider my friends/people i feel i owe something to. i haven’t done anything like this since the 100 follower mark, so please bear with me.

like any community with more than a few people, there have been ups and downs in the path few months. i wanted to add here as a general shout out that i have never felt so welcome and loved in a community that i originally would have thought would be more disjointed than what you might find on a forum. like, i’ve changed a lot thanks to you guys! i’ve been able to get over some of the hurdles of my social anxiety (i didnt jump over them so much as drag myself across the ground and painfully crawl over them) and i just... i feel good? i feel like people like me? there are still times where my anxiety insists i’m nothing but a useless burden, but i actually... feel like people enjoy having me around? holy shit!

i made some really cool new friends and got to know a different kind of roleplay community. im overall incredibly grateful for this wild and weird journey i’ve been on, and the journey certainly isn’t over by any means! i hope to keep seeing you guys around!

these words really arent even enough to express my gratitude. i havent been to some really dark places, but there for a while i felt like i was almost completely alone. i simply wasn’t connecting with other people like i wanted to. about 3-4 years ago i lost contact with (long story) my roleplay partners of 4 years and it wasn’t an easy thing to recover from, but i’m here now and it’s just... really good! incredible, even!
