Dp x DC crossover

Jason didn't really know what to think right now. His head was hurting and the circulation to his wrists cut off. The one time the pit pit was decently quiet the ONE time Jason let his guard down, and he gets kidnapped by fucking cultists. Jason didnt know what they where doing, what they wanted to do with him.

One of the cultists a man covered in a dark green robe with gold accents, wearing a white mask with only one eye hole, grabbed jason by the hair and dragged him to the center of the giant pentagram painted with something that smelled of iorn, so jason could only assume it was blood. He just hoped it wasnt human.

The cultist man waved for two men to hold jason, as the rest where chanting something it what sounded like Latin. One of the men holding jason pulled his head back as the the other pried Jason's mouth open and covered Jason's noise.

The main cultist pulled a flask out as well as a silver chalice. The man poured the liquid from the flask into the cup. Jason felt the pit flare as he saw the bubbling hot green liquid. It was pit water. 'How did these sleazy basterds get Lazarus pit water' Jason panicked he tried to struggle but it was no use.

The leader brought the chalice to Jason's lips and poured the burning liquid into his mouth. Jason tried not to swallow it but he was choking. The man plugging his noise coused him to have no other way to breath. The liquid torched it's way painfully down Jason's throat as the leader chanted.

"∇ΩCΔMUS TΣ, PΩRTΔ UΠΔ, ∇IΠDΣX IΠΩPUM, SΔL∇ΔTΩR IΠҒIRMΩRUM. PΣR ∇ΔLLΣM TΣ ΔΠΠUIMUS, ΣT DΣT TIβI ∇ΔS UT ΔMβULΣS MUΠDUM ∇I∇ΣΠTIUM. Ω GRΔTΣ RΣX MΩRTUΩRUM, PHΔΠTΔSMΔ!"(vocamus te, porta una, vindex inopum, salvator infirmorum. per vallem te annuimus, et det tibi vas ut ambules mundum viventium. o grate rex mortuorum, phantasma!)

Jason was thrown to the ground as the cultists exited the pentagram. The vigilante didnt know what was happening, the pentagram glowed,a heavy mist bloomed across the room. The candle fire turned from orange to green. The room turned as cold as ice and a figure pulled itself from the pentagram only a foot away from jason who was still in incredible amount of pain.

The being at a glowing green aroura around it helping to make it visible. He was a slender male in a black jumpsuit wearing white gloves and boots. The suit had a strange insignia on its chest. He was wearing a cape the looked yo be made of stars and had a crown of green flame above his head. His skin was a light green, he had pointed ears and glowing green eyes. His presence demanded respect.

The cultists fell to their knees looking at the being. "Oh grate one, thank you for heading our call, we offer this man to you as an avatar so you may move about the mortal plane freely" the cultist leader says.

Jason wasnt really paying attention. He was in so much pain. And he was honestly scared. His vision was getting fuzzy and his head was throbbing. Jason couldnt consecrate on listening to what was going on around him.

He looked at the boy floating next to him, who was staring at him. The boy smiled at jason and felt a since of safety he hasnt felt since before his death. The words "SȺFŦɎ/ⱣɌØŦɆȻŦ/ꝀɆɆⱣSȺFɆ/SȺFɆ/ⱣɌØŦɆȻŦ" being projected into his mind.

The boy turned his head to the cultists and his calm smile vanished leaving in its wake a cruel smirk showing off his sharp teeth. That was the last thing jason saw before passing out.

Danny was having a pretty regular day, well as regular as it can as a Wayne enterprise intern. Yep you heard it folks, danny was able to get his high school diploma *jazz hands*. Being the ghost king really helped he could just order the ghosts to leave him alone when he was studying.

Now hes 19 and lives in Gotham, working in the aerospace department of Wayne enterprise. Being ghost king is going ok. And his parents took him being a phantom pretty good, they even offered to dismantle the ghost portal. Danny told them not to cause he needed it.

Anyway that brings us too now. Danny was talking to one of his few freinds in the city Timothy drake-Wayne. They where just idally chatting at a coffee shop when danny heard some sort of chanting and glowing red sigil appeared below Danny's feet and dragged him in.

He switched to his phantom form and as he pulled himself from the pentagram he viewed his surroundings.

"Oh grate one, thank you for heading our call, we offer this man to you as an avatar so you may move about the mortal plane freely" a man said as he knelt down along with the rest of the other 50 or so people in the room.

Danny was about to say something when he felt it 'SȻȺɌɆĐ/ⱣȺƗN/ĦᵾɌŦƗNǤ/SȻȺɌɆĐ/ⱣȺƗN/ⱣȺƗN/ⱣȺƗN'. The feeling of another being sent directly to his core.

Danny looked down to see a man. Tied up, and dazed. Danny quickly took note that this man was dead he could feel. SEE his core. Well what bit of a core he has. It looks barely formed as if the man just died. And that he had rotten ectoplasm coursing through his body.

"ĐƗĐ ɎØᵾ ⱣɆⱣØŁɆ ĐØ ŦĦƗS?" Danny questioned staring at the leader of the what danny can only assume are cultists. "Yes we fed him the waters of your home so your being can be safely tied to your new body" the leader says joyfully.

Danny looked over at the half ghost on the floor, he felt the ectoplasm in his veins boil. How dare they touch one of his people. A baby no less. Sure the man may be around Danny's age but hes still a baby ghost. His core wasnt even formed probably yet.

Danny's core screamed at him to protect the halfa on the ground. That this man was one of his, his responsibility. ĦƗS to ⱣɌØŦɆȻŦ.

Danny felt the baby halfa's eyes on him. Danny looked at the man and sent a gentle smile and sending 'SȺFŦɎ/ⱣɌØŦɆȻŦ/ꝀɆɆⱣSȺFɆ/SȺFɆ/ⱣɌØŦɆȻŦ' resonating throughout his core and aura.

Danny turned to look at the cultists and his gentle smile was replaced with a wicked grin. "ɎØᵾ ȺɌɆ ǤØƗNǤ ŦØ ɌɆǤɌɆŦ WĦȺŦ ɎØᵾ'VɆ ĐØNɆ ĦɆɌɆ" Danny's voice rang through the room.

He was going to dispose of these insects then take HIS new charge to frostbite, to help the baby develop the rest of his core at a healthy pace and to get an ectoplasm infusion.

Danny fully intends to take grate care of the baby halfa he found.

“So wait, you saw Goody? Our grandmother?”

You sighed in annoyance at your brother's tone, your head hanging low as he rambled on about the events that occurred in the café minutes ago. Luka and his friends had watched you bump into a jockey werewolf and then when you apparently fainted; their first reaction was to grab you and bring you to the infirmary, now here you were.

“I already told you.” You said, sipping a cup of water while you flipped through the spell book lazily, “I blacked out, an old house appeared, I saw Goody, and then I woke up here.”

“That sounds familiar…” Luka inquired slowly, gauging your reaction.

Your head turned to him, a murderous glow in your eyes as you glared harshly. You sat up carefully, staring him into a cowered sitting position.

“I am not having visions, I refuse to accept that.” You growled before standing up sharply and walking out of the blaring-white room.

You stormed down the hallway, ignoring Luka’s protests as he jogged behind you. Your mind was racing a mile a minute at the possibilities of you now figuring out that you have visionary powers which were probably inherited from your dear mother; that disgusted you.

“Mamá es va a averiguarla!” Luka said, getting in front of you to stop you from walking away, “Ella no es tonto.”

“Si, ella no es tonto.” You replied, yanking your belongings out of his hands, “Pero tú no decir nada.”

Luka stared at you, almost as a silent game to see if he would actually say something or not. Black eyes challenged bright blue, the quiet contest becoming tedious for both of you as people passed with confused looks on their faces.

Eventually you caved in, looking away with a slump of your shoulders. You couldn’t argue with Luka, he would always wiggle his way to winning any fight, and he would always gloat about it to his friends when you were both younger.

“Luka.” You sighed, slinging your bag over your shoulder and turning your head back up to his gaze, “Please, don’t tell them.”

“Why though?” He pressed, leaning down so he could speak quietly, “You need help.”

“I don’t need anything.” You snarled as you pushed past him, “You need to let me go back to my room.”

“Y/N I know those visions hurt.” Luka tried again, following you up the stairs and towards your dorm room.

You muttered an insult under your breath, swearing to whatever higher power above that you would curse Luka into his early grave for being so persistent with you. His rambling became background noise in your ears as you moved around your room, setting your stuff down and safely tucking the book back under your pillow before stopping to angrily turn back to your brother.

“Listen,” You said, crossing your arms in front of your chest to appear bigger, “These visions, the voices; they are my problem.”

Luka opened his mouth to speak but you shushed him with a hand to say that you weren’t finished.

“You will keep quiet, you won’t tell anybody about the things that are happening to me. Our mothers are busy enough with Louis and Leo AND with planning for parents' weekend in a few days; they don’t need more stress.”

Luka’s eyebrows furrowed, his face scrunching in confusion.

“Y/N, you aren’t a stresser for them.” He said softly, reaching out to put his hands on your shoulders, “They love you.”

“They don’t act like it.” You snapped, shrugging him off and looking away in embarrassment.

To be truthful, you felt very neglected within your family. Between you and your three other siblings, you were seen as the least favorite. Luka, Louis, AND Leo all successfully wolfed out when Luka was 10 and the twins were 7, which prompted a celebration with your large family circle. Everyone came from both sides to congratulate the three of them with gifts and music and dancing.

Unfortunately for you, barely anyone paid you any attention. The most that anyone said to you was “are you next to wolf out?” or “i’m sorry you didn’t catch up with your brothers” and even “maybe you are defected!”

Emotional demonstration wasn’t your strong point, but when those phrases were said to you, well it hurt. You wanted so badly to fit into the little werewolf circle that was in your home, but you never got the pleasure of getting that trait from your mom.

Instead you were left with voices in your head and absolutely no special abilities at all. You younger brothers, bless them, would always rub it in that you were quote on quote “defective” and would constantly pick on you for not having the wolfish attributes that they possessed.

“You don’t know what it’s like.” You started, stepping away from Luka to pace around your room, “I have to wake up everyday to feel like I’m nothing.”

“But you are something!” Luka said, reaching out to grab your hand, “You’re my twin sister-.”

Your eyes went wide and rolled, your head flying backwards at his touch. A loud bell chime again, ringing in your ear as it drowned out all comprehension of the real world.

Flashes occurred, pictures caught in time as people laughed and talked, then screamed. There was fire, pooling and lapping up at peoples legs as they ran in fear, and at the center of the chaos was…

You.

Raines eyes blinked open, and even before they heard the next noise they knew exactly what it was. They sat up, the covers pooling around their waist. The book they were reading was open face-down on the bed, the pages folded from their negligence. They adjusted their glasses as the child creaked the door open a little more.

"Renna? Are you-"

"Yeah, I am. What's up?"

Y/N had been sick all night, feverish and even throwing up. Raine was worried for a moment that they would need to change Y/N's sheets. Y/N stood at the door awkwardly, hanging off of the door handle like they weren't sure what to do with their hands.

"I don't.. feel good."

"I know that," Raine smiled, opening their arms and inviting Y/N to come and join them on the bed. "What hurts?"

"..I don't know."

"Well, that makes it a little harder, babe. Tummy?"

"No. I just.."

Y/N struggled for a minute, thinking and getting situated on Raine's lap. The head witch snuck their hand under the back of Y/N's shirt, pressing their cool hand to the hot expanse of skin. Y/N shuddered.

"Just feverish, maybe? Feel a little clumsy?"

"Yeah." Y/N sighed. "I don't wanna go back to bed."

Raine looked over at the clock. It was almost three in the morning. If Y/N stayed up now they'd be out by six in the evening. Raine shrugged.

"Sorry, kiddo. I gotta get you back to sleep so you can stay up longer with Uncle Darius."

"But Renny-"

"Here, you wanna lay down in here for awhile? Maybe you'll change your mind."

Y/N hummed, unconvinced. "I think you're a liar."

"Don't calm me that. Lie down, I'll tell you a story."

"I don't want a story."

Y/N complained, but did a little jig to get situated under the covers. Raine laughed quietly, switching the lamp off again and tugging Y/N's warm little body to theirs.

"What do you want then?"

"A snack."

"Nope. Try again."

"Renny. Fine, song."

"Okay, that's a reasonable request."

Raine chuckled again, humming to themself for a moment. Y/N wiggled around and Raine wrapped their arms around the writhing child, hushing them before they could complain. They were silent for a moment, and Raine started singing softly.

The sound was quiet at first, strained as Raine got used to singing so quietly. Y/N sighed, snuggling up closer to Raine as they whispered the lyrics. Y/N huffed, nudging them.

"What?" Raine laughed.

"Do it louder. Please." They added as a light squeeze from Raine reminded them. Raine chuckled again, and the sound rocked through Y/N's little body, making them squirm lightly.

Raine started again- louder- and Y/N yawned finally, shutting their eyes. Raine sighed, running their hand against the skin of Y/N's stomach soothingly, spooning with the child. They kept singing, until a rather loud snore cut through their words. They chuckled quietly, then made sure the covers were tight over the both of them.

They glanced over to the window, where the first lights of dawn were peeking over the head of the Titan. The window- covered in small dewdrops and condensation from the previous rain- let through a filtered soft light. Raine shifted the cover up so it would block the sun from waking thier child. Raine kept humming quietly, until they fell back asleep too.

I guess I'll give my Sonic Prime thoughts now.

Yeah the show is pretty ehh and honestly I don't feel like trying to write a deep dive into why right now, so this is just my ramblings.

Many people have already criticized how poorly paced season 3 was, how bad Thorn's episodes are, what that ending even was (seriously, where did Shadow even take the Prism...? Did everyone else make it back to their worlds okay...? WTF was the outcome with Nine?) I agree with that so I'm not gonna repeat it all.

The premise itself had more potential, but it's just so...generic. I know, the idea of Sonic traveling across a multiverse of other canons was never going to happen, but the alternative of Sea World™ and Jungle World™ were so bland it hurts.

I wonder if part of the visual blandness is from the 3D. I know, as a show and not a movie, it has a very different budget, but I believe Boom had better and more lively environments. It's like the entire set modeling budget went to New Yoke while everywhere else got completely shafted.

Which...why was New Yoke the only place that got an Eggman? Er...Eggmen? Like I know the idea of there only being one Sonic is because he broke the Prism, Shadow doesn't have counterparts because he wasn't in the cave, but neither was Big? Like happy to see Big, but also I'm wondering where the consistency is.

Though all the counterparts are so stereotypical it hurts. I think Dread was the one I found the most compelling, though maybe I just like pirates. Also is it bad when Chaos Sonic showed up and even Sonic was like "do you EVER shut up?" all I could think about was IDW like that guy was ANNOYING AF

As for Sonic, he is VERY vocal in this show. If he's not talking, he's grunting or screaming. It's like the audio department didn't know what to do if a character wasn't making noise, like YouTuber who constantly uses jumpcuts to hopefully keep your attention. That's what it felt like. In a cinematic story, sometimes silence is better, but nope! Sonic is falling again! He got hit! He's running really fast! It's like they use the same 3 high energy sound clips for the whole show and I just got tired of it. It's not the VA's fault, this is entirely on the audio mixing/direction and it's only really a problem with Sonic because he's made out to be a clumsy, lovable and meme-worthy dork.

Sonic himself really is the biggest problem for me. Even putting aside how OOC he is, his shtick is just...tiresome. He's the idiotic embodiment of stereotypical ADHD. He's designed to be marketable as a silly internet blorbo rather than a compelling character. It's kind of hard to look past how the show heralds him for his emotional talks bringing everyone together when it's so...shallow.

There are some parts of the show I found compelling, like I know many disagree with this, but honestly? Shadow was the best part. Sonic and Shadow fights are cool and I liked how he had a solid reason to be angry. Not like Boom where he just shows up to kick Sonic's teeth in because he can. No, Sonic broke reality and Shadow is pissed about that! Trying to simply fix it himself when he's been watching Sonic stumble through all these Shatterspaces going "huh aren't you my friends?" eight times like an absolute buffoon tracks to me. Maybe if Sonic was written competently I would think it's silly, but if Sonic is going to be this dumb, yeah Shadow was right to try and take the reins. Although I realize the biggest reason people like him is because Sonadow, I'm just happy to see him not being a mean edgelord.

I don't really have more to say about the series than this because it's just a bowl of nothing soup. I can see an attempt to blend action and comedy, similar to Boom, but the jokes aren't funny and the action isn't exciting. Boom recognized its strong suit was comedy and focused more on that while Prime just slowly got worse.

Legit the only thing that improves over the course of the series is the overuse of flashbacks, thankfully that's relegated mostly to season 1, but everything else just goes downhill. The pacing suffers, dialogue gets repeated at agony and Prism Sonic wasn't even made interesting.

The conflicts aren't good, the slapstick is bad and honestly the best joke in the series is when they all had to keep pausing and ducking under the laser in episode 2. The whole thing is just so...forgettable.

I think at some point in a year or two, after I get through all the other Sonic cartoons, I'll rewatch Prime and see if I change my mind at all. Though for now, I'm glad it's finally over.

i am the LAST person to put community negativity on the dash, i apologize in advance but i feel the need to state something.

i don't care if you personally enjoy the new nari VA or not. i really don't, we all have preferences and that's ok.

what i do care about is acting as if the previous was "better", or that the character has been "ruined" with a new voice. he was not better. the first VA tarnished it on his own. he was a serial abuser. he was a criminal. he hurt so many people in this community, his voice is forever tied to deceit and abuse and is literally triggering to people. paper fucking bag noises would be better than that guy. the new VA might not be what you expected or wanted, but they were NOT about to hire a guy to sound like a carbon copy of an actual pedo criminal. hyv listened to its community and responded in kind, and quickly might i add, which i am grateful for. don't shit on them for listening to victims, this take diminishes how important this change was for all of that asshole's victims.

“Vot.”

Tali’Zorah vas Neema dropped the geth memory core she’d salvaged, hands shaking. The hunk of tech landed with a loud clatter against the ground, drawing the gaze of some of the scientists on the opposite side of the room. She glanced over her shoulder briefly, noting the wariness of the others.

From his place a few feet away, Kal’Reegar recognized the telltale signs of distress: the tremors in her shoulders, the quick movements of her hands, the stiffness of her posture. She wasn’t panicking yet, but it didn’t appear far off.

“Are you alright, ma’am?”

Her purple faceplate turned in his direction, eyes glowing warily beneath. “I’m fine.” She paused, realizing how harsh her voice sounded, even through the modulator. A quiet sigh followed. “Thank you for the concern, Kal. I just… need a moment.”

She turned to pick up the memory core, inspecting it for damage before she returned it to the workbench. Hushed speech from the scientists interrupted the silence, the words nothing more than white noise as Kal’Reegar studied Tali’Zorah. She had changed since her time with that human Spectre… since Shepard.

Tali had acquired slightly more human mannerisms than he was accustomed to, not that it was a problem in most situations. In fact, some of her newer ideas had opened the quarians to a different way of thinking, of approaching issues that couldn’t be solved in the traditional ways. For someone who wasn’t a marine, her skills with a gun had vastly improved. She used her drone in fights and it somehow worked, distracting her enemies at the perfect moment.

But she drew suspicion from some of the others on the Fleet. They didn’t like integrating another species' ideas or tech. It made them paranoid, distrustful of her and whatever she brought back after the Battle on the Citadel.

Kal’Reegar wasn’t interested in the tech. Not that surprised anyone. He was a grunt, used to doing the dirty work others wouldn’t. No, he wanted to learn more about this human captain Tali’Zorah served with.

The one she had lost only a few weeks ago.

“You seem distracted, ma’am.” He managed to say without sounding like a total bosh’tet. Kal’Reegar was a marine, a fighter for a race of people that were lost to the stars, who didn’t have a planet to call home. Not for hundreds of years, at least. The geth had seen to that.

But he had an important job here with the scientists, and in particular, with Tali’Zorah. He traveled with them on research missions, protected them from the geth, or anything else that might try to harm them. Sure, it wasn’t fighting a war on their homeworld, but it made a difference. Their research helped further the lives of the quarian people, and by extension the Fleet. Then one day in the distant future, if he survived this war, he could retire, kick up his feet and appreciate the work he put in.

Tali laid her hands on the table, fingers spread against the metal as she tried to focus. “It’s… nothing. You wouldn’t understand.”

News of Shepard’s death had reached the Fleet at a slower pace than if she’d been on the Citadel, but everyone knew what had happened to Tali’s former captain, her former friend. She never spoke much of the humans once she’d returned. She was absorbed in her work like usual. But the news had been such a shock to her system that she’d fallen ill for days after hearing it.

Reegar didn’t know if she’d talked to anyone about it, her father or perhaps Raan. Even if she did, it likely wouldn’t do much for her grief. Losing someone who fought beside you, that you bled with and befriended in the fires of combat, that was a bond that no one could touch.

He approached cautiously, taking care to make sure she saw him coming. Standing beside the table, he stood with his hands behind his back, watching her out of the corner of his eyes.

“Ma’am, you would be surprised what a dumb marine like me can understand.”

She snorted, another human reaction he noted, and faced him. “Is that so? Keelah, you’re annoying.”

“Been called worse.”

A real laugh left her mouth and it drew the stares of the other scientists briefly. Kal pretended to not notice, waiting for the moment to pass before speaking again.

“Losing a friend isn’t easy. I’ve lost plenty in this short life and it never gets easier.” He let the words hang between them, letting the weight of them settle.

Tali made a small sound, something close to a strangled cry if he had to describe it. The turmoil in her soul wouldn’t ease for weeks, months, maybe even years. Reegar didn’t know how close she was to Shepard, but from her reaction, it seemed like one of the closest friendships a quarian could have to another being. His heart ached for her. No one should suffer a loss like that alone.

“How-” She paused, voice wavering as she tried to push down the wave of intense grief she felt. “How do you heal? Move on from something like that? I don’t remember much about when my mother left us, but it didn’t feel like this.”

“Grief feels different when you’re young. The finality of it doesn’t weigh as heavy as it does now.” He resisted the urge to reach out to comfort her as her shoulders shook. “You fought beside Shepard, knew her as intimately as our kind can. Your friendship will live on in you and the things you do.”

“That’s so… poetic.” She sighed, brushing a hand against her faceplate, almost as if she could wipe the tears away.

“I don’t know anything about poetry, ma’am.” He replied, keeping his tone as light as possible. “Like I said, I’m only a marine.”

“A marine with a love for poetry.” Tali teased back, tears still coating her voice, but she didn’t sound as broken.

Silence descended a moment later, but the melancholy seemed to have lifted. Kal’Reegar watched her again, detecting the subtle shift of her shoulders, the way her hands slid away from the memory core, holding them at ease in front of her.

“May I ask you about her?” He tried hard to keep the excitement ( maybe even longing?) out of his voice. “About Shepard?”

A warrior like Captain Shepard was a curiosity that the quarians didn’t see much of, especially when most were either stuck on the Migrant Fleet or off fighting geth. While Shepard might’ve been human, it didn’t take away from her enigma, her infamy. In fact, it made her more captivating. Especially to someone like Kal’Reegar.

Tali tilted her head slightly, in confusion or contemplation, he wasn’t sure but it was endearing. He was positive that she was grinning at him, all too aware of how interested he was. “I would be happy to. Talking about her… it might help.”

When she began to speak, she practically glowed with the affection she felt for Shepard. To Tali’Zorah, the human Spectre was a friend first, a hero second. She was a person with feelings, who made mistakes, who had love for the galaxy and every person she came into contact with. She was kind. She was strong.

It did little for his hero worship.

“There was this one time, keelah, she challenged Wrex to a fist fight.”

“That’s the krogan?” He asked for clarification, her old friends' names swirling into a blur in his mind.

“Yes. Wrex laughed at Shepard, told her she was a whelp for even thinking she could face a true krogan.” Tali paused to catch her breath before forging on. “When he turned to leave, she punched him in the face! With her biotics, of course, because she would’ve broken her hand otherwise, but it was… oh! What was the human word for it?” She spoke a few words in quick succession before exclaiming. “Oh yes! Insane. It was insane!”

She dissolved into a fight of giggles.

Reegar couldn’t imagine this small human he’d seen vids of punching a full sized krogan, but then again, she had done the impossible only a few months before. She had destroyed a supposed Reaper, stopped a geth invasion, and gotten humanity a seat on the Council.

The Admirals could take a hint or two from Shepard’s actions.

An old quarian saying popped into his mind as he watched Tali try to control her laughter. Something his mother used to tell him when he mourned another soul lost to the geth, a reminder that death wasn’t the end, but a beginning. They would all make their way back to the cosmos, to rest among the blanket of starlight and live forever as stardust.

“We’re only stardust among comets.”

Tali finally returned her gaze to him, laughter dying on her lips. “We are galaxies, united in our infinite sorrow.”

“We are solar flashes, beauty brief yet bright.”

“Esu se’lai, dear friend. We will meet amongst the stars once more.”

Tali relaxed, moving to lean against the workbench, her eyes still on him. The silence stretched on, but she didn’t shed any more tears. “Thank you for this. You didn’t need to help me, but you did. I… appreciate it.”

“Whatever you need, ma’am.”

Tali shook her head, crossing the small distance between them to lay a hand on his arm. She glanced up at him, forcing him to meet her eyes. “Please, call me Tali’Zorah.”

“Of course, Tali’Zorah. Ma’am.”

She tittered, squeezing his arm gently, a sincere and friendly gesture… something else to thank Shepard for, he supposed. “I’m glad you’re here, Kal.”

Reegar smiled beneath his mask, not knowing how to explain the feeling growing in his chest. Pride at helping her? Perhaps he was getting sentimental in his later years. A sentimental marine with a knack for poetry… His friends on the Fleet would tease him endlessly if they found out.

Somehow that didn’t make him upset.

“Me too, ma’am. I wouldn’t be anywhere else.”

Diabolik Lovers: Haunted Dark Bridal Part 1 - Sakamaki Ayato Route

Just to start off, I watched a bit of the Diabolik Lovers anime and kinda liked it but also felt it was a bit weird, so I thought I would try out the game instead! I really love the art, so I just had to try the story again, especially since all the guys are hot haha. Btw, since the game is in Japanese, I have been reading it with a translation on the side haha. I try to read it with my own skills but some things are just too hard haha. Anyway, man, this feels like a horror game for the poor girl lmao. Not only does Yui get abandoned by her father for "her sake" but she's told to go to a haunted house to see some relatives that will take care of her?? I wonder if the dad is on this, like why couldn't he take her along and why is she being sent to these suspicious vampire men? OMG, I was like is Ayato's VA who I think it is, and of course it is Midorikawa Hikaru!! I love him already. Lmao I was wondering what "chichinashi" was when Ayato referred to her as that but it actually means titless🤣 He's such an ass to keep repeating that she has no breasts lol. Laito just licked Yui?? Omggg lol. Anyway, I forgot about Laito always referring to her as bitch-chan, so now I'm annoyed with him but also dead at how silly it sounds😂 Omg Kanato's appearance is legit terrifying. His eyes look so soulless, I am scared.

AHHH, I heard about the binaural audio or dummy head microphone thing about this game so I've been trying it out with earphones and I felt so violated with the licking noises LOL. Kanato is so creepy, he makes me so scared lmao😂 The way he talked to his teddy bear? Legit horrifying🥲 Ummm, did Reiji just say it's okay to cook Yui? Plz. I mean, Reiji is hot and if he says he'll whip Yui for not explaining why she's here... I'm in for it😂 I'm sorry, I'm trash too😂 Anyway, Yui has some spunk even though she's even more terrified after discovering that they're vampires. I felt so bad for her when she tried to run away but got caught and then had her mobile phone broken by Subaru. I think the saddest thing is that her dad really meant to leave her here (according to Shuu). So...we have to pick who she'll give her blood to and that's the route we'll end up on? Well, Ayato it is! I am terrified of Kanato saying he'll cut Yui up if we don't pick him, and I don't know what we'll regret about not choosing Laito but from my perspective, Ayato seems the most normal. I hope he is anyway... Well, glad to see Shuu tell them that they're not allowed to kill Yui because of whoever in the church that is related to this?🥲 Lol at Ayato teasing Yui for being scared of the lights going out and thinking a ghost would come out. He refers to himself as Ayato-sama to her hahaha, I guess he does just view her as food.. On one hand, I feel very sorry for Yui because Ayato biting her must hurt, but on the other hand, I cannot resist Midorikawa Hikaru's voice so yes pls. Ooh I didn't realise that they're not proper routes but more like short events or scenarios? Interesting. I legit can't. The binaural audio with earphones really feels like Ayato is speaking straight into my head LOL, it's so good and so disturbing at the same time hahaha. Lmao when Yui was worried about Ayato getting poisoned as well when she thought a poisonous bat scratched her and Ayato sucked her blood. On the other hand, the sucking noises with binaural audio is a whole new experience, I recommend everyone to listen to it at least once in their lives🤣

Well, I thought Ayato was just going to play a nice prank where he scares Yui with a wax doll but omg when he tried to drip wax on her body so she can become a wax doll too, like dude hold up please. LMAO when Ayato stole Yui's notebook to try and force her to go home so he can drink her blood, and she distracts him by saying there's a big breasts beauty in the hallway, and he even believes it enough that Yui gets her notebook back🤣🤣🤣 At least he's got the decency to take her back after sucking so much blood from her, but I'm seriously lowering my standards for Ayato aren't I?🤣 Ayato licking the wound on Yui's knee so that none of her blood gets wasted was nicee, lmao when he tried to move her skirt out of the way and lick her thighs because he was "bored" of her knee🤣 Omg, what did he use on Yui to make her burn up and feel light headed! Anyway, I guess I should be throwing all my morals out for this game because dang, when he kissed her cheeks and asked if it felt good, I swooned🤣 OMG BINAURAL AUDIO IS SO DANGEROUS. Ayato whispering in my ear saying he can't hold back is not what I was expecting, omg, my heart. Nice to know how interested he is in Yui now though haha. The kisses omgggg!! I mean yeah, this game is very iffy when it comes to consent and toxic men but I find it very refreshing hahaha. I mean, I can't resist Ayato saying he'll take all of Yui's first times and I love how unrelenting he was when it came to teasing her with kisses lol. Well, I was going to say Ayato's mother (Cordelia) looks hot, which she does but dang does she seem kinda crazy. But then again, who isn’t crazy in this game?

Lmao when Yui said should she act like she dislikes him drinking her blood if that's what makes him happy🤣 Yui really is too sweet and naive lol. The moment Ayato took the dog collar off the dog, I knew he was going to put it on Yui and tell her to be his dog lmao. I lovee the kitchen scene!! It was so cute how he kept kissing her and kept wanting her attention when she was cooking lmao. One of the rare times he's actually cute and honest, and omgg Ayato's favourite food is takoyaki! I approve. Loll when he bit another girl just because he wanted to see Yui's reaction. Honestly, even though we know this relationship is toxic, I admit that the thought of Ayato going to another girl for blood made me sad too. OMG IT'S THE THING OF NIGHTMARES! Legit wanted to freak out with that sideways pose Kanato makes, it's so creepy omg. Okay, it's nuts but I love it. Binaural audio of Midorikawa Hikaru saying "you belong to me/you're mine" is just the besttt👌👌👌 My heart omg. Ohhh dangg, they actually did it omggg?! Lmao when he was holding himself back from drinking her blood because she's weak right now so he poured honey on her instead and started licking her lmao. Ayato was so mean when he handcuffed her and left her in a dark underground sewer all by herself for a while! She would be relieved and happy to see anyone after that! WOW, what a jerk LMAO, I legit laughed (I’m sorry) when Ayato pushed Yui into the lake because she was focused on looking for shooting stars and wasn't giving him enough attention, what a guy man. Honestly, it's pretty hilarious how jealous Ayato can get, I do feel bad for Yui but it is cute in its own way. Does Yui have Cordelia's heart or something? Is that why Ayato thinks their blood tastes the same? Just when you think Ayato is nice, he gets a bit more nuts and starts using a knife to slowly cut her for blood because biting her apparently isn't as exciting anymore lolll.

Well, the first ending is rather tame. How interesting that Richter was the one who put Cordelia's heart into Yui. Whether he did that because he wanted Cordelia to live on somehow or because he wanted to spite Ayato's father, the vampire king or whatever, who knows I guess. Does Richter have a route though? I like him, well his face😅 Dang, that after story with Yui wanting Ayato to bite her everywhere and even wanting him to bite her ring finger so that his mark will always be there. Lmao that they were doing that in the lounge ignoring everyone around them haha! Lolll when she asked Laito for recommendations for presents to give to a guy and he's like their girlfriend's underwear, this wild man🤣 On the other hand, it's nice to see how concerned and worried Ayato is running around looking for Yui. Honestly, I'm sure Yui could just say she went shopping and he wouldn't even realise it's for his birthday lol, but I guess drama is drama. I can't even blame Ayato for getting annoyed considering his personality alongside Laito just constantly causing trouble lol. I wanted to tear up when Yui bit her own finger not wanting the mark of her being his to fade. OMG, Ayato actually apologised to Yui and kissed her finger for misunderstanding her when she was just trying her best to give him a surprise birthday present. That's so cute, really didn't expect the apology haha! It is illegal for Ayato to blush!! He's so cute when he blushes!! So adorable to see how he happy he was to receive the Ruby earring from Yui. Oh, and a man that's willing to eat a smashed up cake that fell on the floor for you is a 10/10! He may be toxic but he's such a sweet guy when it counts! Well transferring cake mouth-to-mouth certainly sounds hot! I approve. The cake probably won't really taste that good though haha. Okay, the sadistic ending was very not nice lol! He killed all the vampires and Yui has basically become his doll, yeah... I guess the other one isn't any better hahah. It broke my heart to see the guys try and take advantage of Yui and suck her blood when Ayato was gone, I felt so bad for her. I felt so relieved for her when Ayato came back, and I honestly loved how angry he was at the guys and how protective he was over her. Considering how he can be, him disinfecting her body with his kisses and then hugging her when she was scared was sweet.

Overall, Ayato was better than I thought he would be! Yeah, he was crazy possessive at times (most of the time) and he doesn't listen to Yui when she says she's anemic and needs rest, but he's also very gentle when he wants to be. I loved it when he hugged her to reassure her that he's the one with her in the heaven scenario and when he apologised to her after misunderstanding her on his birthday?? Such improvement, I wanted to cry. But yeah, then there's times he'll push her into the lake because she's not giving him the attention he wants lmao. It's such a rollercoaster, I love it. It's even better that he's voiced by Midorikawa Hikaru because that instantly makes Ayato 1000x better hahaha, I just love how sensually he talks into your ear with the binaural audio haha! Anyway, Ayato was cuter than expected, and I guess you'll like him if you like men who are possessive and a bit childish in that aspect of you needing to give him all your attention all the time lol. I’m definitely all in on this ride of Diabolik Lovers. It’s so rare to find men so unapologetically toxic LOL. Every now and then I just need this toxicity injected into my veins HAHA.

also quick wip of a fic im writing and working on.. hopefully il actually make more than one chapter and not feel like no one cares abut it haha

He doesn't remember how he's gotten here.

It felt like everything hurt for a single moment, his leg being hit by a spear and dragged right off his horse- hitting the rough ground before feeling another stab in his back. He doesn't know who, but it felt like it was burning. Like something of his own was used against him..

But he isn't there anymore. He isn't on the battlefield anymore, but now in an itchy blanket with a lamp rearing it's head right at him. He blinked as it was shoved into his face even more, with another figure looking right behind him.

He weakly attempted to swat the lamp, before it was pulled away. A doctor megaton was looking down at him, freckles all over and tilted their head.

"Oh, I knew you were alive!" They proclaimed, then shoved the lamp right back into his face. "Now, wvat are you feelivg? Hurt? Mavbe a littve pained?"

"Can't you get out of my face for a moment?!" Spiderton kicked the lamp right back, as the megaton squeaked. "I don't- what.. is the war over?"

The megaton doctor tilted their head again, before letting out a chortle. "Ah hah.. It's only veen a week or so," the doctor twirled over to another closed window, before opening up the blinds. "Only an agreement. None of us want more to be hurt and slaughtered, yes?" They blinked slowly over at the confused zigoton.

He just stayed silent, gripping onto the blankets. Was the war all for nothing then? His tank? The comrades he's made- all dead?

His thought stream was broken by the megaton petting Spiderton on the back. "I suppose it vust be hard for you.. You are vhe only general left. Did I ever vay that?" The megaton chuckled awkwardly, and Spiderton slowly turned his head towards them, like a wall turning.

They jumped back a little. "I'm only delivering vuch nevs.. You wouldn't want to be invulting the Patapons and vtart up another war, hm?" They fidgeted with their paws, looking to the side. "And, you might want to know of a vmall little thing.."

"What? That we're dickriding the Patapons now?-"

The blanket was pulled gently off of Spiderton, revealing that he had his left leg amputated. It was covered in a small cast, but his foot and ankle definitely wasn't there anymore. His fur rose up, shaking the tip of the cast as he covered his mouth to prevent himself from making a scene.

"Although your right leg vas been healing, your left vasn't.. in the best condition. It vas better to remove it than let it rot and, eventually, remove itvelf off." The megaton explained, as if this has happened to other zigotons before he'd woken up. "It vas lucky that you were knocked out during all of it! The ones vhat were awake and well.. I covldn't descrive their noises, really!" They waved off their hand casually; it was just in the job for this doctor.

Spiderton didn't say a word. He only sat down silently, pawing down at the cast and beginning to use his claw to fidget with it. He just had to take everything in; what had happened at the battlefield and then now. He gripped at his cheek, wondering and hoping if this wasn't real..

But his scarred fluff felt very real, and much more cleaner. He must've been washed, as he looked right at the megaton again.

"..Thanks." He then looks away. He's never felt so embarrassed, almost panicking right in front of someton.. He doesn't do that, he promises himself. "I- augh, uh.."

"Oh, it's no pleavure!" The megaton gave Spiderton a tough pat on the back again, chuckling as they cut them off. "I alwavs do vhat is best for my patients! And, vou would want a revap of everythivg, yes?" They made a soft clicking sound, looking directly into Spidertons eye. "Just rememver, I am now vour provider.. Ve can divuss this another time, ves?"

Spiderton just nodded. "Okay, sure." He scritched at his back, shuffling his fur awkwardly. "I.. I don't really know how to feel right now. Sorry."

"A lot of zigotons von't know abovt these times.. I vouldn't recommend vorrying all about it!" The megaton then turned away, grabbing some papers and a cheap clipboard out with an old, bulky pen. "Juvt fovus on the future, okay? Becauve I can guess it'd be rough."

The general gripped his paws on the sheets, as a document was handed right to him about his other medical conditions now. He wouldn't know how else to tell his mom that he's still alive, without a leg, and.. confused.

And he isn't ready for this shit, scrambling his real name onto the papers. It's not like anythings gonna dwell in his mind.

I wish we could change each characters voice or language separately, cause I love a lot of the English VAs like Itto's and Zhongli's but I also love Xiao's in Japanese and I HATE listening to Paimon in English but I like her in Chinese (you should try Chinese, she sounds so soothing oddly enough) (Also no offense to Paimon's VA, she's just gotten so high pitched that it hurts)

As i have mentioned a bunch, i am autistic and some... Noises legit shoot my nerves to shit and has me fucked up. Notably, Yagami Yato's weird lil noises like slurping used to have my frazzled from how much it fucked with my ears.

Paimon's VA is super high pitched and squeaky and its so fucking irritating. Like, I'm missing Thoma and Zhongli's and Shenhe's voice but I don't miss that fucking demon's voice. She fucks with my ears and that noise has my hands shaking and i need to keep taking breaks from the game to rest my ears and i need a few moments. It sucks but I am enjoying the korean VA. Also apparently the japanese VA is worse so Im def gonna go with chinese next, just to see.

I think... Fully, that there should be a mute Paimon button. She keeps interrupting and fucking hell, it lessens the main character' importance because she can't shut up. She keeps saying she'll help me find my sister, but yknow, she's useless and annoying and im doing stunning without any of her useless input.

Im tryna finish the vision decree hunt and i legit can't, im getting overstimulated with her voice, and im just miserable trying to play through

I was listening to Pros voice to fall asleep to bc my body hurts so much and I needed a distraction but omfg every time I hear his voice I find smtb new I love that VA so much he's AMAZING so much voice control Pros voice is both soft and hard in places and he makes cute little sounds like "er, ah, eh" small little noises that makes his voice so so tender but at the same time his voice is so rich and deep ! It still gives me whiplash thinkikg about the difference in his appearance and voice also when he was panting.... Oh my god he sounded like he was growling and snarling 😵‍💫❤️‍🔥 I know he was in pain but gdkkckdjf I got to the end of the video but his dying broken voice made me start crying so it's counterproductive lool

For the non verbal question: it depends on why they are non verbal. (This is from research I did a few months ago for a character who is mute due to an injury so it isn't 100% applicable to Neo but depending on how you headcannon her it may apply)

1. If the vocal cords are damaged then in alot of cases they can't make sounds, or atleast alot of sounds without hurting their throat. But they can usually still whisper because that just involves breathing and moving the air with ones tongue/mouth no vocal cords used.

2. Tongue injury - they can make sound that require vocal cords, but they can't shape those sounds into words due to the tongue not working.

(with Neo keeps in mind that in the main series she never makes any noise even when she gets hit, but she does make sounds in the blue blaze game, but that could just be due to them needing sounds for when characters get hit so that the game works so it depends on what you want to write)

Yeah that's how I headcanon her at least as actually unable to talk due to some sort of medical reason. But that's pretty much what I'd found in my search (also according to that very aggressive article mute is a, and I quote, "dick thing to call someone who's nonverbal") but yeah I imagine the game probably had to have some sort of sound because y'know it's be a bit odd if you're getting hit and like nothing's happening.

Also dunno if this really belongs here or if anyone cares, but Neo was originally supposed to talk. Something happened with her VA and they ended up just making her nonverbal, which honestly, I think is pretty neat for her character.

Wrecker use is one of the most dangerous industries in the world, but with proper training, safety precautions and common sense you can enjoy a long career without injury. A wrecker is used to transport disabled vehicles from one location to another. It's also known as a tow truck or trailer. The purpose of this guide is to provide you with 8 tips for using your wrecker safely so that no matter what type of vehicle you're working on, you'll be able to avoid injuries and stay safe on the job!
