Sqq gets kidnapped by demons and he's allowed to write one (1) letter to cq, but he's not allowed to even HINT at being stuck or kidnapped. Knowing this, he sprinkles in just enough demonic lingo to render the letter vaguely indecipherable to yqy (and pass muster with the demons as 'not code'), meaning he has to summon sqh to try and figure out what his xiao jiu is saying. Sqh takes one looks at this harmless letter and sees, as a line break, the more code sos.

just thinking about Geto and Gojo meeting a Star Plasma Vessel that is a stark contrast to Riko.

Riko was a fourteen years old full of live, feisty and with an aggressive facade at times who really believed in her role as a star plasma vessel. outspoken, that cared much for her caretaker and also brave enough.

But what if stsg met a star plasma vessel that was completely the opposite of Riko Amanai? A girl about their age that completely lost the light in her eyes, firmly decided on going on with the merge because “i have no one to call family or friends, so why should I go back to a place that hardly feels like home?”. Introvert, who’s clearly undergoing a lot of stress and has signs of depression in the sentences she speaks, the gestures she makes, the thoughts she thinks.

This thought has been plaguing my mind and i haven’t worked well ever since… the potential angst between the lines.

They are witnesses of how she has lost her will to keep living and everything they do to make her smile or simply acknowledge that her life could be better (aside the fact they also want to convey how much they would support and fight if she was ever to change her mind. which they hope it’ll happen!) feels vain.

And oh… the heartbreak they would go trough once Toji shows up and points his gun at her, still knelt down on the ground with her shirt clutched in between her frail hands as big tears and gut-wrenching sobs shakes her body in a desperate cry. Still chanting her pain, still talking in between broken sentences how she’s scared, how lonely she felt. Still voicing her doubts about life (will it ever get better? will it get easier?) and its worth.

And when Geto and Gojo are finally able to hear a soft “i want to try to live”, the curtain call eventually comes. The loud echo of a fired bullet breaks their hopeful smiles and then it all fades to black the moment they see the body fall on its side: the only person they desperately tried to save, now gone with a beautifully and sickening faint smile on her face.

realistically, i know nami and zoros cat motifs are for like ~grace and stealth~ and ~raw power~ or w/e—but any cat owner knows that all cats think they’re beautiful, elite predators when in reality they’re all absolute losers.

my cats chasing a bug across the apartment rn and has run into the same wall twice. if her food bowl is turned the wrong way she just won’t eat. all water glasses are secretly for her and she will stick her whole face in them. if there’s literally anything crinkly on the ground it is the greatest day of her life but the minute someone even looks at her while she’s having fun she just walks off—unless she wants to play, in which case she’ll “hide” behind a lump in the carpet approx. 1/2” tall and pretend no one can see her while she jumps out at anyone walking by.

so. honestly? all the cat themes just have me convinced nami and zoro think they’re so beautiful, graceful, mysterious, powerful (and have everyone outside the crew convinced of that, too), when in reality they’re just goofy little losers who play it off cool.

do not get the hate for redemption arcs some people have. a person who's done horrible things learning that their actions have consequences, and what those consequences mean, or that they've been wrong the whole time, or actually starting to care about all that and then trying to fix the harm they've caused is fundamentally good. they're making an effort to change, to be better. its a fundamentally encouraging thing. people can change, and sometimes for the better.

and the same thing goes for characters with tragic backstories. its not an "all people who are traumatized are like this" its a "traumatized people can become like this if they don't receive support or kindness or anything from the people around them." the tragic backstory is not for excusing The Atrocities, it is for understanding why the character may have believed they were necessary in the first place.

In regards to Riku initially building his identity around being the repressed but cool older brother figure who’s really strong and never needs help and like not knowing who he is outside of that role — which is why he’s initially so afraid if Sora doesn’t need him anymore, Sora won’t want him around — and those expectations making it hard for Riku to express his negative feelings. And then Riku being much happier when he abandons those expectations and stops forcing himself to play that role in order to follow his heart and be true to himself for the first time in a long while….

I feel like that’s another way Riku can help Sora. The situations are not the same, but Sora does feel pressure to always be cheerful and positive to the point where he severely represses his negative feelings and doesn’t feel comfortable sharing them with his friends… Honestly, I think Sora maybe even feels like his friends won’t want him around if he’s miserable, if he’s not what they expect. And he puts a lot of pressure on himself to not slip up, to be everyone’s hero just like they want. Like Riku before his character development, I don’t think Sora knows who he is outside of that role.

The masks they wear are different. The roles they’re forcing themselves to play are not quite the same. But there’s the same unhappiness from not allowing yourself to express your true feelings and really follow your heart, in fear of rejection and the unknown. Listening to your heart can be really hard and scary sometimes. It’s something Riku is still working on. But there’s no one who can teach Sora to follow his heart like this better than Riku.

Friend, ideas are not the problem. I am a cesspool of ideas. I am constantly drowning in ideas. Ideas are the reproducing bunnies and I am the trenchcoat they gather in.

The hiatus happened because I got burned out, because ideas jumping in my head does not equate to me having the energy or the braincells to put them to paper. Plus as I have said before, some irl stuff happened and I needed the emotional recovery time. Plus if you've ever experienced burnout, it has a fun side effect of being like a long-lasting statis-effect that shouldn't be as effective as it is. It sucks. Don't worry about me though, I'm letting the plot bunnies run amok and have fun in my head and enjoying my indulgent project so I am stockpiling dopamine I can use on command for creative purposes. Thus is the cycle of a creative. I appreciate the patience
