The tragedy that is Arthur Morgan is something that keeps me up at night.
That man lived day to day thinking life was just a tally chart of his sins and that he was forever damned, to the point where he was silently suicidal.
He lived and died thinking that no matter what good he did, it would never make up for his existence - in the type of life he didn't get to choose.
And what's worse is that he still tried. He tried and gave absolutely everything to the people he cared about, to the people he loved, and he watched all of it crumble before him.
He was a dog that was tricked into thinking it was a wolf, a stag who was taught to be a moose, that died to unwavering loyalty.

If I lay here ... would you lie with me and just forget the world?
I was sad one night and wanted to watch something fun and colorful, so I tried Fionna and Cake and really liked it! Adopting Prismo as my surrogate blorbo he is such a pal (everyone's pal, for that matter)
I've been enjoying getting to explore some new fics, which is what this was inspired by (primarily this one), and then it went kinda off-the-rails and got experimental hahaha but that's okay, I was having fun!

Genuinely think some folks need to remove how we, the audience, see characters and relationships from an outside perspective from how those characters actually interact. Like y'all ask for nuance and I'm telling you that just because Nancy has gone through trauma and absolutely deserves to be as messy and complicated and hurt as she wants, doesn't mean Robin wouldn't think twice about dating her?
It's not about whose fault it is or centering a male character, it's about how Robin, the character, would interpret and internalize the facts she knows. She has no idea what exactly Nancy has been through, like we have. She encouraged Steve and Nancy in S4 to get back together, she comforted him when Nancy went straight back to Jonathan. Robin's place as Steve's best friend, someone she trusts implicitly, the person she wants to combine with, puts Steve as an important aspect of her life!
It's not that she hates Nancy! It's that even though they broke up a year and a half ago, there's some unresolved or redeveloping feelings there for Steve. It's not that I think Steve could/would/should be hurt or angry about his best friend dating his ex. It's that, in my opinion, Robin, from what we see of her, doesn't seem inclined to date a friend's ex. It's about Robin, and her personality, and that means her friendship and love of Steve.

I’m full of feelings and queer rage tonight, so here goes.
Fuck the narrative that being trans is never a choice. I chose this. I’m not some poor little boy trapped in the wrong body. I’m not some sob story wasting away. I probably would’ve been fine living my life as a woman and then I found trans people and related to them and I chose to embrace my identity and join them. I was born into my body with my gender and I will shape them with my bare fucking hands into what I want them to be.
I’m not making my identity more palatable for cis people. I chose this. I chose this and I chose to be myself and don’t you dare try to take that choice away from me.
