So the Cousin AU is just absolutely adorable! I was wondering what place would Draxum have in the Cousin world Family? [Also do you allow fanart?]
(Iβm glad you like my work!! It means a lot π©· also yes I do allow fanart!! absolutely, go ahead!!)
Oh Iβm so glad you asked! I was thinking about it a lot actually.
Then at some point, just as we know, Orange would help him and heβd slowly become a part of the family. Although I think Blue would be very hesitant about him, which would make the other cousins unsure about him too, as theyβd be worried for Blue. Theyβd try to like Draxum but itβd be hard when one of your little cousins was so uncomfortable with him.
(I think my Baby Blue comic could be a part of this au. I have an idea for a whole comic tho, about the movie stuff for rise so weβll see!! π«’)
So yeah, in the end Draxum would be a dad to the Rise boys and an uncle to the other turtles. I think I like the idea of other Splinters being a little mad at Lou for getting so close to the ex-villain, especially when Blue was so upset about it. Theyβd come to accept him tho, after they were sure their baby blue started to trust him AND seeing how a relationship makes Lou happier.
Thatβs it, I think. Thank you for the question, love!! πβ€οΈ

HI I love my copy of Junkworld btw!! Thank you!!
Idk I might have asked you this before or someone else may have but I was wondering if you would talk some about your art practice like. Routine and the like? I think I remember you doing Lynda Barry exercises?
Well either way thank you!!!!
Oliver!!! Yes!!! I'm so glad!
I have to preface this by saying that I don't even work on art every day, much less comics. Last October I picked up knitting on a whim and spent all my free time making hats while listening to an audiobook of Moby-Dick. I made a lino print for the first time while sending out JW #1, fell in love with it, and have spent the last month or so carving and printing and experimenting. I go on painting jags, collage jags, writing jags, and I have two (2) guitars that are sitting in the corner patiently waiting for asteroid Kiana to circle back to them. I've been this way my whole life, and I am trying to work with it and not against it. HOWEVER. There is a hardcore Type A perfectionist inside me that wants nothing but consistency. This part of me abhors the flightiness, the mutations, the bouts of melancholy -- if there must be a Quest, it cries, let it be towards a singular Goal!!!!
For recovering perfectionists there really is no better teacher than Lynda Barry. She has a list of materials, she has dozens of exercises, she has you set time limits. According to her books she is quite a strict teacher in-class, demanding a lot of time, effort, care, and attention. All of this is wonderful. She boxes you in and sets you free.
"Making Comics" is the essential text. My favorite exercise is Monster Jam.
Here are a few of mine, all done left-handed to minimize the influence of the Type A chatter who lives in my brain. I have dozens and dozens of pages of these monsters. Barry recommends this specific process a lot: lay down the lines under pressure before your brain can catch up, then add color/patterns/details, under no pressure at all, while watching/listening to something you like.
There are several iterations after this - you draw their parents, an older sibling, a lover. Then you go back to the beginning and draw, in 6 panels, the story of their life. It somehow always presents itself.
As valuable as they are, I don't use these exercises to actually make comics nowadays. I use them to loosen up and activate that aforementioned feeling. Most of my comics come from doodles or notes scribbled down in a tiny notebook I carry everywhere. The process of making a longform comic is something I have bashed my head against for YEARS, and now involves divination, random image generation, a deck of Nancy cards, a lightbox, and a ton of panels chopped up and spread out on the floor so I can move them around. This is why I still only work in grids!

I just can't stop about them now π₯Ή... so I thought, I would love to know what are your favorite Paulchard kisses so far? Maybe a top 5 or a top 10? π₯° thank you so much for all of your gifs π
hi!! again!! π you found the wrong person for this question π I love all their kisses and how can i choose 5 or 10? I could write an essay about each one hahaha ππ
but let's try to pick five β¨
#5. idk!! i love their not scripted kisses, this one was totally one of them and i rememeber how i rewatched it over and over, simple, but so sweet π₯Ήπ richard looks so fluffy and his big grin after kiss π₯Ή
#4. for me a good kiss is one that is awkward to look at. like you weren't supposed to see it? π
because it's something too personal? very often I wanted to close my eyes and not look and keep looking at the same time? I don't know if that makes sense π₯Ήπππ
#3. π€π€π€ pretty happy boys π (and happy schneider in the background heheh)
#2. very very very long one and that's smile afterwards ππππ
#1. obvious first place. the best one. very emotional. their looks and hugs. as if it's not the last concert, but they're saying goodbye forever. π₯Ήπ I spent months rewatching it and sighing π₯² dreaming of another tour, imagining what incredible kisses there must be in 2023. and then the rehearsal happened and i was just heartbroken. i'm still sad that they are messing with outro, but i'm really glad that they still love each other and let us see at least some of their tenderness towards each other. there's still a long way to go and i hope that we have many, many more cute things to come π₯Ήππ
+bonus π it's not a kiss, but I often remember THIS and scream! the most disgusting and beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life ππ₯°π₯°π₯°
+bonus2. when Paul kissed his hand π

assuming you would have to sell your soul to the devil first, what historical event would you want an episode of puppet history about??
silver bridge collapse of 1967 AND NOT JUST FOR THE MOTHMAN HEAR ME THE FUCK OUT
-Called the deadliest bridge collapse in modern history, claimed 46 lives with 2 of those never being found
-Was the result of the tiniest flaw in a single eyebar and changed how bridges are maintained in the US to the modern day
-The musical guest could be the bridge OR one of the cars that fell from it during the rush hour traffic OR the Christmas presents fallen into the river since it was December (mothman prophecies reference) OR it could be the Ohio river OR IT COULD BE THE SINGLE EYEBAR THAT FAILED THERES SO MANY FUCKING OPTIONS
-AND there's mothman
alternatively I think Shane should cover more stuff related to computer history but I think the silver bridge collapse fits better in the puppet history niche

My favourite part about your art is how much you seem to experiment and play around with it. While there's reoccurring patterns, there's also just so many new and different colours, shading, etc. It's quite beautiful. I don't know if anyone's ever complimented it, but I personally love it
I appreciate itπ

Ask rampage? Good idea.
Top 5 QL OST?
Ok. This is a hard one because I tend to listen to songs more than full osts. However there are some shows that have multiple songs in my ql ost playlist.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter YT | Spotify
This one is necessary for my mental health. Literally. It's the first one I put on when my anxiety reaches top levels. It's my comfort watch and listen.
Love Sick YT | Spotify
I mean it's Love Sick. And it's Boy Sompob. It's bl heaven.
Be Loved In House: I Do YT | Spotify (this doesn't have an oficial ost album but here are the main ones)
This is another one of my comfort watches so it has a special place in my heart.
Love Tractor YT | Spotify
I love this show and the soundtrack is a big part of that. Ye Chan is the other big part.
Unintentional Love Story YT | Spotify
This ost was on repeat for a couple of months after the show ended. It's incredible.

Heyyo!
I don't know if you've already answered this, but how did you get into writing omegaverse? :)
P.S.
I think it's really intereting how you use omegaverse for story building and smut isn't the main focus of your story. I see way too many stories only using a/b/o dynamics as another reason to write smut, that's why I really enjoy how you use the omegaverse to build the world around the characters! :) <3
Much love!
Hello!!!
I don't think I've answered this one? Idc I'm too lazy to check so I'll answer again lmaoo.
I don't really know what fandom/fic introduced me to omegaverse? I was part of the Marvel fandom for years and years, so I'm willing to bet it was the MCU. I was also briefly part of the Supernatural fandom so it could have been that one? As well as the Teen Wolf fandom and werewolves/omegaverse has a lot of crossover.
Needless to say, I fell in love immediately lol. My first omegaverse fic was for the MCU. I have a suspicious lack of omegaverse fics for someone who loves it so much lmaoo π I've read probably hundreds in the past like decade-ish that I've known about it, and written a handful.
Thank you, though, I'm glad you're enjoying the fic. This was originally going to be a mostly smut fic, but then the slow burn and world building got away from me lol. It became a lot more than it was going to be, but honestly no one's complained yet so π€·ββοΈ we are getting close to when the smut will be coming in, though. I will say that. π

What might be Fuegoleons favourite flower, in your opinion?
This is a good question, and I wondered about it for a while, because I think that he's the type of a person to appreciate different flowers for different reasons. As in, I headcanon that his hair oil has the scent of lavender, but he wouldn't like it as The Flower to give for a spouse during a celebration or in a bouquet for example.
But I also feel that he'd enjoy having lilacs (the plant/flower) in the garden. Elegant flowers, if that makes sense. Though someone might argue that flowers such as passioflora would suit his personality, I think that flower itself is... it tries too much, if it makes sense. But on the other hand flowers such as lily of the valley seem too .. meek(?) for his liking. Elegant but striking flowers.
Lilac, marigold, azalea, and peony, I think would be such flowers that he'd like. But for the regal aesthetic, I'd probably have to stick with lilac as his favourite flower

39 Who are your OC/WoL's parents? Are they alive/involved in their lives?
behold. zhati and sperm donor when they were young⦠zhati's one hell of a lancer who mentored him in the ways of fighting hunting and survival but kind of forgot to teach him to be a decent person. her relationship with zhati'a is not the best but they're on talking terms as of endwalker. it's complicated.
as for his father i dont think male mooncats have too many incentives to be involved in their children's lives with the way they live⦠so he's probably never going appear in his life

What do you think of the bats in Van Ziek's office? Do they have names? Do you get along with them?
Hmm, I don't mind bats generally, but don't think they're the sort of creature to allow indoors. Their eyes have an eerie glow in the dim of the office, and they can be startling if awoken. I half wonder if they're only there to discourage visitors, particularly hapless defense attorneys. That said, I've grown used to them. Over time I learned how to avoid disturbing them, though they are rather close to my desk which can make it a challenge. They have no names that I am aware of; I only think of them as "the large one" or "the small one," and I can't imagine Lord van Zieks is the sort to look on them affectionately.
Although now that you ask, I wonder. If he didn't want the bats he would have had them removed ages ago. Could he be harboring a secret fondness for them? Maybe he gave them names himself. If he actually spoke to them that would be hilarious, but he would never let me catch him at it.

This is an invitation for you to tell more about your finnish music obsession
I want to hear what artists you're enjoying and what you think about finnish music in general!
I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS
Ok so I've mainly listened to UMK artists so far lol so bear with me
First of all, first introduction with finnish music in my life: when I was a teen, In the shadows by The Rasmus was my entire personnality. I've listened to that single so fucking much you have NO IDEA. My parents hate rock and metal, and they were my first introduction ever to music that was heavier than pop π I'll forever be thankful for that
A few years ago my friends sent me some Beast in Black and I stopped counting how many times I've listened to Sweet True Lies and Blind and Frozen, those are just so good. I love the 80's inspiration in them and the singer's voice is absolutely incredible HE HAS THE RANGE. As I said in a previous post, gonna go see them live with my boss and her gf next saturday, they were coming to my city and we couldn't miss that π€
Notable mention to Lordi, Hard Rock Hallelujah will always slap
Then KÀÀrijÀ arrived and I haven't been the same since lol. He made me want to listen to more music in finnish, because finnish has a rythm and melody that I hadn't heard before, and it adds something really unique to music that I really like, scratches my brain in the best way possible
First I found Jukka yt channel and he covered some Turmion KΓ€tilΓΆt and I swear that this band altered my brain chemistry they're just SO GOOD. They're a lot heavier that what I usually listen to but I truly don't mind because the mix of synths and heavy music and scream is just the right balance I absolutely adore what they do, and I think I'm gonna follow them for a long time
Then I started to listen to UMK music, first being Benjamin. Man, that guy's voice is so fucking angelic excuse me?? Illegal. I've listened to GAY about 200 hundred times in a row woops
Started to listen to Portion Boys as well right about the same time, and I have to say that I like most of their songs. Everytime I was pressing next on spotify I was like but that one is good as well? And so is that one?? And that one too??? Like I don't think that I've found a Portion Boys song that I truly dislike. The 80's vibes just stole my heart. ElΓ€mΓ€n ABC my beloved
Been listening to a bit of Kuumaa lately, and by that I mean that Tulipalo is my entire personnality woops I haven't listened to any other song in days
Sometime the past month I've been made aware of Seppo on bi and it's been plaguing my mind I hate it I love it
Got also some Antti Tuisku in there! Grindr Mayhem of course, but also En kommentoi. Some BESS with Ram Pam Pam because it SLAPS
I've also listened to @king-krisu 's finnish music essentials playlist, and I like most of the stuff on it? I need to pay better attention to exactly what songs I prefered but I really enjoyed most of the stuff in it
