MORTIFYING. this song opens with a literal spoken word moment from richard dawkins. i literally just think floor sounds sexy live. i do actually like the lyrics in the chorus— toss-up favorite between “the music of this awe / deep silence between the notes / deafens me with endless love” and “this vagrant island earth / a pilgrim shining bright”

i mean it so literally has to be “i’ve been looking for a savior in these dirty streets / looking for a savior beneath these dirty sheets.” tbh i’m def the wrong audience for this song’s lyricism but “beneath” as opposed to the easier “under” is a big win for me

very hard to explain in quotes. lyrically and musically the best part of the song is the part where you get “trying to (IT’S MEEEE) get out of the cold water (IT’S MEEEE) something (IT’S MEEEEEEE) someone help them!” which is just like. in terms of musically narrating a dream where you see yourself trapped under the ice it’s hard to imagine anything more perfect.

11. something you want to do again next year ?

hm this question is making me realize i didnt do many things worth repeating this year 😭 ... it was a transitional period - last year of high school / first year of college, moving out etc. ... but i would love to go to more local queer parties + drag shows and take more little trips to nearby towns with my friends :•)

19. what are you excited about for next year ?

no specific events come to mind right now ( though im sure some great concerts will come up ); just ordinary things like becoming better at my job and figuring out if i want to change my major or not . just like every year i am simply excited to learn new things about the world and myself and hopefully learning some new skills along the way; i feel like i will fail at this completely, but id love to become more of an Offline Girl and actually find some hobbies that arent connected to media consumption or ... tumblr . lol

23. if you could send a message to yourself back on the first day of the year, what would it be ?

well i cant tell her too much because that would change the past and therefore my present too right . i have to be careful 🤔 anyway the message is . everything changes beyond all recognition ! dont stress so much because of all the exams it will literally be fine . oh and for gods sake dont try to get so close to the stage at your my chemical romance concert youre too short to see properly anyway AND you will just hear Noise

✍ Do you have a beta reader?

I don't have a frequent one, but fortunately, I have been granted experience working with beta readers for a few fics <3. Usually for events.

From what I've felt so far, I love receiving criticism thru them. I just tend to leave gaps or my grammar is a throw-off, and they help a lot with it ✨ A second pair of eyes is always lovely for fics and for fanart.

I appreciate them very much when they do agree to beta read, suggest someone, or generally support me. A giant weight is just pushed off my shoulders. (From my posted fics, the beta readers: @momentofmemory and @spikeface . Big hugs.)

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

It's always the WIPs that are so wild, but out of my posted ones… I'm gonna try here with three. When Chaos Falls (Scott + nogitsune) is the wildest but shortest ride I've been on. I love this one, it's so good. Sometimes I want to make it into a whole fic and other times, I just want to write more fics with void or nogitsune. Another one is Panic in the brain (Scott, trauma + Melissa). Truthfully, I had a sudden, self deprecating wave of emotions before and halfway through writing this 😅. And it was inspired by the terrible mood but once it sobered up, pushing send was an utterly strange, grounding relief. (Please don't send help, I'm okay! I should say this before I proceed to change the subject to the third one.)  To the dance we go (scallisaac). It's so fluffy and it's a subtle rollercoaster for me, it gets me in the feels every time. I find it wild I actually found something for them. I love scallisaac and my mood gets instantly better after reading it.

🙋‍♀️ Do any irl people know you write fanfic?

Technically, no. I had an old friend I wrote with for another fandom but that was so long ago and on wattpad? I don't think they know I still write fics. I don't want to force people I know into my fandoms. But.. force into watching the source material? That's a different story.

Fluff is a popular one I use.

It still surprises me because I used to be so into writing unrequited love, hurt no comfort, and MCD (major character death). I just really want the characters to hug it out, cuddle, and do nice things for each other in teen wolf since it was one emergency after another. Hurt/comfort is my favorite and I wish to do more (and see more) of it <3
