Mercs with artistic s/o

Scout

Loves your drawings

Once you start avoiding him (to draw the portrait) he gets really sad

Once you show it to him he starts crying

It's shows how much of him you noticed even the little things that others don't see

It makes him so happy that you would do something likes this for him

Soldier

Loves your drawing style

He'll ask for things all the time like eagles or something

If you draw him an American flag he will be so freaking excited

But if you draw him he almost faints from happiness

It looks so great

(If you draw him in front of an American flag the excitement doubles)

Demoman

His room is filled with you drawings

Everywhere you looks there is piles of your drawings

He loves your style and the colors you use and he wants to draw because of you

When you draw him he will tear up

He just gets so happy that you want to draw him and that you care enough to draw him

Pyro

They love to draw too!

They love giving you drawings and now they'll receive some back!

When you give them a portrait of themselves they'll get so happy and shut themselves in their room so they can make one for you

It's just as amazing if a little more childish but that's why we love them

They'll get so happy everytime they see you drawing that it's pinned to the ceiling above their bed so when they wake up they'll see it

Heavy

Fascinated with your drawings

He doesn't think he's ever know anyone with that amount of skill

When you show him the portrait you made of him he goes kindof quiet

More than usual

He's just so amazed by the way you portrayed him and he just wants to start at it for a minute

The entire time he has the largest smile on his face

Engineer

Loves it when you sketch his robots

He likes the way you seem to make them seem like they have personality

But when you draw him?

Oh boy?

He'll pull his hat down a little to hide his blush and maybe the tears welling up in his eyes

Sometimes if he's feeling sad he'll trace the lines of the drawing and it makes him feel better

Medic

Utterly fascinated

He always asks if you can draw organs

Just because he likes your drawing and wants them in the Medbay without it being weird

But he's weird soooo

When you draw him you have to include his birds

He giggle really happily when he sees it

This is going in his office and if anyone critiques it he'll just use em as an experiment

Sniper

Sometimes your drawings go missing

Don't worry it's just Sniper

He'll take some of them sometimes and hang them up in his room

When he make him a drawing of himself be gets all blushy

He'll pull his hat over his face and mumble about how you didn't have to do that

No no he loves it and he's taking it and your not getting it back

Spy

He always gets you the fanciest supplies

Whatever media you do art with or a new sketchbook if you need one

He's got you

His favorite activity is to watch you draw

It's just so mesmerizing

If you draw him he'll just kind of stare and it in awe

He doesn't know how you captured him so well

But he's thankful you did and he might be tearing up so he might need a hug

I am literally in love with tf2 rn and have been for the last week but I cannot, for the life of me, remember how I got into it. I, however, will not question it. Could u maybe bless me with some headcanons on Scouts relationships with the other mercs? Doesnt have to be all of them, u can just do the offense or defence classes - Im just living for Scout rn and I need to know everything abt him ❤

Scouts Relations with the other mercs:

Demoman:

-Really good friends.

-Scout loves how fun he is to hang around with and also that he has really good alcohol.

-Every once in a while Demoman will try to explain how to make bombs to him and it just goes in one ear and out the other.

-Demoman is the only other person on the team who can actually drink Bonk! without dying of radiation poisoning a couple of hours later.

Soldier:

-Not sure, its a mix between best friends and thinking he is the weirdest guy to ever exist.

-On one hand, he is extremely unstable and unhinged but on the other hand, so is Scout.

-So, they get along pretty well.

-Sometimes Soldier can be a bit too weird and intense though, even for Scout.

-A chaotic duo that love doing stupid shit together.

-They became friends after Demoman started hanging out with Scout and Soldier at the same time, but then they realized how cool each other were so they started hanging out without Demo.

Heavy:

-The only thing holding him back from death.

-They became friends after Heavy was tasked with stopping Scout from going through with his endless bad ideas.

-Heavy really likes Scout because of how funny his stories are, and Scout is just glad that Heavy will even listen to them.

-At first though, Scout was TERRFIED of Heavy and at first Heavy thought Scout as just a nuisance.

-But once they got past each others exteriors, they got along pretty well.

-They became friends after Medic started to hang out with both of them at the same time.

Medic:

-Chaotic, extremely chaotic.

-Medic is smart, but he has little to no morality and will do whatever he pleases.

-Scout is dumb and has no self preservation.

-So they cancel out any braincells the other has.

-Together they are stupid, impulsive, and murderous.

-This is why Heavy usually has to accompany them on their shenanigans.

Pyro:

-At first he was absolutely TERRIFIED of Pyro.

-But once they realized that they are just as impulsive and childish as Scout, if not more they got along REALLY well.

-Similar to Medic they are a chaotic and violent duo that does whatever they want however they want.

-Pyro is the only thing stopping Scout from getting his ass kicked because of how intimidating they are.

Engie:

-DIY dad.

-Scout never had a dad, so Engie is pretty much the next best thing.

-Has accidentally called him "dad" on multiple occasions.

-Engie actually treats Scout like a person so Scout will protect him with his LIFE.

Sniper and Spy:

-Love-hate.

-Scout LOVES to annoy them.

-They both hate it.

-So it usually ends up with Scout annoying them with stupid things until they snap and then Scout ends up at the infirmary with a stab wound.

headcanon that Sniper always stands on Demoman’s blind side bc he considers himself the ‘eagle-eyes of the team’ or something & feels personally responsible for making sure Demo doesn’t get surprised by shit coming at him out of left field.
