TERRITORIAL | Jungkook oneshot

Summary: you're just a high schooler who fell in love with a gangster like him. Is it wrong? Is it wrong to be territorial just to make sure you will be able to keep him all for yourself?.

Not after what he did to you. You tried to walk passed at him but he's fast enough to grab your wrist and pulled you close to him.

"Let me go. I'm going home."

You heard you voice shouting those words. You turned around and saw him holding his phone while playing the video of you k'lling the girl who's sitting on his lap that night.

Running towards him, you tried your best to grab his phone but he's fast enough to hide it inside his jacket.

He hugged you tight while trying to make you calm down. "It's not wrong love. I know you did that cause you love me and I'm so amazed by you love. You're amazing."

"I-I'm just trying to protect my property" you said.

"I know my lady, and you just did the right thing." Jungkook kissed your forehead before pulling you in his embrace.

Damian growled, "Answer my mate, Filth!"

"I was suppose to be your mate!" Serena shouted.

"I don't even know your name." Damian stated, "My father decided about our stupid union; I never wanted any part of it. I found someone better."

Bruce and Serena's parents rushed into the room. Marinette picked up Serena and tossed her at the adults' feet.

"If your daughter tries to come after my pups again, I'll break her neck!" she hissed.

Her parents looked at their daughter's mangled arm. They hadn't realized how strong the new omega, Damian had chosen, was. Maybe their plan to get the mark removed was a bad idea. The new couple was glaring at their daughter and looked ready to pounce.

"Damian, why don't you take Marinette and your pups , upstairs to your nest, so she can calm down and know you are all okay." Bruce suggested.

Damian picked up one of their pups and handed them to Marinette, who began to coo. He picked up the other and led them upstairs, without another word.

"Momma, Papa, that omega hurt me!" Serena cried, nursing her arm.

"You all need to leave." Bruce stated.

"You can't be serious!" Mr. Varin shouted.

"You're lucky she isn't dead." Bruce announced, "Marinette gave her a warning. If she had tried for a pup, alone with Damian, I'd be paying to get her blood and body scraped off the ceiling and the floor. You'd be taking her home in multiple doggy bags. Never step foot in the manor again, for your own health."

Mr. Varin grabbed his daughter by her good arm and dragged her towards the front door. Lera quickly bowed and followed her husband. Once they were gone, Bruce collapsed in the nearest seat.

'Oh, yeah. Dangerous combination.'

So my conure and my baby quaker keep fighting on the top of the quakers cage but they tend to fight less anywhere else. It’s usually the quaker that I think gets territorial of the top of her cage. What can I do to fix this?

It's pretty common for Quakers, or most parrots for that matter, to exhibit territorial mannerisms and honestly there's nothing wrong with those behaviours. Being protective of their territory, resources, and home are survival skills that are present on a genetic level. Instead of aiming to resolve all the resource guarding behaviour I would instead aim to help the conure realize that isn't an okay place to land and help your quaker learn that if they do land there you will help resolve the issue and they don't need to escalate things.

You can place barriers to make the cage not have any direct flight paths which will deter the conure from landing while you work on creating more positive associations with appropriate landing zones. Over time interest in landing on the cage will dissipate as it lacks value and the barriers can be removed as they favour new more enjoyable landing spaces. You can help this along by treating them for landing in appropriate spaces, setting up foraging activities or play sets with toys to encourage fun activities in these other spaces.

From the Quaker's side of things I would have the conure on your hand or in a carrier if they're likely to jump off, and give the quaker a treat as you approach with the conure, immediately leaving afterwards. Each rep you bring the conure a little bit closer provided the Quaker is comfortable with them at that distance. The goal being to have the presence of the conure near the cage being a cue that treats and good experiences are to follow which can help reduce the severity of the aggression and encourage more calm behaviours with the conure near the cage.

Throughout this process if the conure ever does land on the cage I would immediately remove them, give the Quaker a treat for tolerating that situation, and set the conure up with a different activity to do. This way the Quaker learns that you will help and he doesn't need to aggress to have the conure leave his zone and the conure can learn that being on the cage doesn't yield any fun but there's different places that can.
