I swear every algorithm on every website is actively and purposely worse now. Where you'll be scrolling through vids after searching for something (I was looking at crochet stuff) and SANDWICHED IN THE MIDDLE OF ACTUAL SEARCH RESULTS... YOU KNOW. LIKE THINGS RELEVANT TO THE KEYWORDS I TYPED

are a couple of completely out of left field SHOCK VALUE VIDS. like to intentionally be alarming. drama vids and things you're enticed to click on bc they're upsetting, and deep deep closeups on zits. what the fuck is going on. Sandwiched between videos about GRANNY SQUARES. crack? is it crack we're smoking????

i feel like i have to vague post about something that happened yesterday cos i don’t like a narrative someone is putting on me

anyway i used up the 30 allowed tags for a post but i got everything i had to say anyway this is just for me to rant but if any of you happen to read it lol sorry for dumping that on you

anyway i know that everyone on here knows what kind of person i am and i would never intentionally target or make anyone here feel unwelcome i think the things ive done for the phandom in these last few months proves that

(and if you’re the person this is about if you’re allowed to make vague posts about it so can i it’s my blog and i can express thing i want to, also if anyone knows who this is about don’t go after them that’s not my intention with this post but i’m sure they might try and make it like in singling them out despite not naming them)

#in january there was a situation in which someone added something to a post of mine and in their tags said if i didn’t like what they added #they would take it down if i asked #(they also made a point to say they were too lazy to make a post of their own)#so i asked them to take it down mainly cos i said they could make their own post #they didn’t need to add to mine it was unnecessary #i admit my tone maybe wasn’t the best i basically said i didn’t wanna be an asshole but i was gonna be an asshole #and i told them they maybe should make their own way on tumblr #this resulted in them telling me i was insufferable and they told me to block them and they would block me #they then sent me a dm apologising for calling me insufferable but then told me i’d been mean to them a few times #the funny thing is as far as i know this was the first time ive ever spoken to them #i literally have no idea what they’re talking about #anyway we both block and i move on #then yesterday i get a message on the fake dapg blog from them #saying i need to block them in future on any new blog i make which let’s be real #not my responsibility to do at all #they also started the message referring to me as Beth #a nickname all of you know upsets me #they then proceeded to tell me it was starting to feel like i was bullying them #you know why? cos apparently i deleted their replies to the dapg tumblr blog posts #which i didn’t #do you know why those messages got deleted? cos we are mutually blocked #that means tumblr filters your replies out #i didn’t delete them tumblrs code did!!#it really upsets me that this person who i literally have barely interacted with has decided to create this narrative that im bullying them #when i literally haven’t spoke to them since january #i haven’t even thought about them since the #initial incident and look i know i can be a bit rude sometimes #but like i’m dealing with some pretty intense mental disabilities and i do t understand my own tone etc #for a person to say i’m intentionally targeting them when i’m not is not fun #especially when it’s someone i’ve literally interacted with twice

Warrior & Nun

You are members of the ORDER OF THE CRUCIFORM SWORD. Your mission is to protect humankind from demons, preserve your dignity while serving in the Church and finding your own faiths. The HALO BEARER has been sucked by an interdimensional portal, leaving you to fend for yourselves while on leave on The Other Side.

PLAYERS: CREATE CHARACTERS

Choose a weapon for your character: Sword, Staff, Shotguns, Crossbow, Pure martial arts, or Gadgets.

Choose a trait for your character: Proud, Discreet, Outspoken, Eager, Bubbly, or Sombre.

Choose your number, from 2 to 5. A high number means you're better at WARRIOR (fighting, strategising, athletics, strength, passion, etc). A low number means you're better at NUN (diplomacy, academics, social abilities, rituals, calm, etc).

Give your character a cool saint name or something like it.

You have: a regular habit, armour, means of communication with other OCS members, a Mother Superion.

Player goal: get your character involved in crazy demon-hunting and women-kissing adventures and try to make the best of them.

Character goal: choose one or create your own: Prove yourself to your shitty family, Become next in line as halo bearer, Find yourself a new family with your sisters, Forgive yourself for your own sins, Be loved, or Keep Being Awesome (you have nothing to prove).

PLAYERS: CREATE YOUR OCS CHAPTER

As a group, pick two strengths for your convent: Handy connection to a rich, brilliant scientist woman; Ties with a powerful cardinal, Highly competent sisters, Gadgets galore, Large library on demonology, Easy access to vehicles.

Also, pick one problem: Most of the sisters are aggressive, undisciplined and possibly sociopathic; The press is on to you, The Vatican is unwilling to spend another penny on you, Mother Superion is always having a bad day, You only have ammo and fuel for another week, Your house priest might or might not have been compromised by a being from another dimension and is secretly working against you...

ROLLING THE DICE

When you do something risky, roll 1d6 to find out how it goes. Roll +1d if you’re prepared and +1d if you’re an expert. (The GM tells you how many dice to roll, based on your character and the situation.) Roll your dice and compare each die result to your number.

⬇️ If you're using WARRIOR, you want to roll under your number.

⬆️ If you're using NUN, you want to roll over your number.

0 - if none of your dice succeed, it goes wrong. The GM says how things get worse somehow.

1 - if one die succeeds, you barely manage it. The GM inflicts a complication, harm, or cost.

2 - if two dice succeed, you do it well. Good job!

3 - if three dice succeed, you get a critical success! The GM tells you some extra effect you get.

!! - if you roll your number exactly, you gain a moment of REVELATION. You get a special insight into what's going on. Ask the GM a question and they'll answer you honestly. Some good questions: what are they really feeling? Who's behind this? How could I get them to _____? What should I be on the lookout for? What's the best way to _____? What's really going on here?

With your Revelation, you can change your action if you want to, then roll again.

HELPING: If you want to help someone else who's rolling, say how you try to help and make a roll. If you succeed, give them +1d.

GM: CREATE AN UNHOLY ADVENTURE

GM: RUN THE GAME

Play to find out how they defeat the threat. Introduce the threat by showing evidence of its recent badness. Before a threat does something to the characters, show signs that it's about to happen, then ask them what they do. "The Firstborn Children guards run toward you, what do you do?" "Your undercover tactical nun partner pours you a glass of lemon drop and slips her arm around your waist, what do you do?"

Call for a roll when the situation is uncertain. Don't pre-plan outcomes — let the chips fall where they may. Use failures to push the action forward. The situation always changes after a roll, for good or ill. Ask questions and build on the answers. "Have any of you encountered a nun who to all intents and purposes was dead but is now alive and kicking whilst in the process of becoming some sort of demon hybrid before? Where? What happened?"

the betrayal

you die at the hands of the person you love the most. maybe there are tears in their eyes as they drive the sword into your chest, maybe there is none. there are certainly tears in yours. your mouth will open to ask 'why' only to spit blood instead. you will die never knowing if they loved you at all, wondering if you could've done something to prevent this, or if it was always going to end this way.

I dunno I think they might share a couple similarities

Some ramblings about the concept of bloody tears below…

Someone was wondering about Tonari crying blood in the OP on Reddit some time ago and tbh it always made me wonder, I’d just get distracted by how pretty that 1 second was lol. This is interesting tho, I guess it acts as a fake death knell. It’s arguably the only thing that was 100% lie the opening, if that was the intended symbolism. It might not be, idk 🤔 If anyone is more familiar with the symbolism I’d love to hear your thoughts. Or who knows, maybe they just did it cuz it looked beautiful. And damn if my girl doesn’t look beautiful 😔

Then there’s Giorno, who, due to childhood trauma, is incapable of crying. He trembles instead. It’s not a detail that’s crazy important to the overall story, but it does shed some light on more emotional scenes where he begins to shake. That said, there’s a scene towards the end of the arc where his stand gets hit over the eye and shatters. I always thought it’d be cool for the scene if his eyes went read and he “cried blood” à la Castlevania. He technically does this in other stand battles, sustaining an injury around his eye in one fight, and having streaks of blood fall from his forehead and down his cheeks in another; but the final battle comes directly after he knows how many of his friends have died . It woulda been neat little detail, but maybe Araki didn’t want to overuse it after having done something similar twice. Still a cool thought tho!

Actually I can’t believe I forgot about Fushi also “crying blood” on Jananda towards the beginning of the tournament. While I think his tears can fall under this explanation, I think he more closely falls under the same explanation as Giorno. Both the idea that he can’t cry due to normal means, but also the fact that he’s thinking about Gugu while this happens, so he really is overwhelmed with emotion tbh.

The idea that James Ironwood thinks so highly of him is still a little bit jarring. Part of Hazel doesn't know how to deal with it; it had been a long time since anyone had actually....cared about him, beyond his use as a tool. He hadn't realized what he'd been missing.

#suicide mention tw #the other day i had therapy right. and my therapist was like i was looking at the results of the tests you responded before we began #and i think it's necessary for us to talk about your relationship with death #and right now it's like. scariest thing to me in the world. also only thing i can ever think of #my brain keeps going i'm going to die!!! i'm going to die!!!! over and over and ot makes everything feel not real #which is scary and trippy and i hate living like this. as if i was dead already #and at the end she asked me to tell her in a scale of one to ten how likely she thought a suicide was #and i said 5.5. i've never planned anything i don't want to die. but if i die then i don't think about death anymore you know?#and i keep thinking about it and keep waiting for it to feel dishonest like. no way i'm a five in the would you kill yourself scale #but it doesn't. it feels like the truth i'm not going to do it but also i don't know what to do anymore #and i'm terrified of speaking to anyone in my life about this bc i don't want to scare them i don't want to be on suicide watch #so i'm just sitting here and my brain is eating me alive. all i can think about is how things end #i resent my body for needing to exist i also don't feel connected to it at all. and i'm exhausted man i really am #just. sigh. i'm sorry for writing this but idk what else to.do at this point #talking tag;
