Treacherous Games | Harry James Potter

Pairing: Harry Potter x fem!reader

Warnings: maybe some swearing (you never know around Ron), otherwise just fluff, pining, and crushing hard.

Summary: Harry is crushing on Reader during a match of Two-A-Side Quidditch.

a/n: Set in the summet holidays before Harry’s sixth year. This isn't a stand-alone oneshot but an excerpt from an unpublished fic. English is not my native language, so there might be spelling/grammar mistakes.

“And that’s how you catch a Quaffle, Ron.”

“Come on, one more round.”

“We really don’t want you to lose a seventh time.”

Overly confident, Y/N threw the Quaffle from one hand to the other, then passed it on to Harry, who was hovering ten feet away from her on his broom, grinning amusedly.

It was two days after they had gotten their O.W.L. results.

The air was buzzing with tiny, fluffy bumblebees and butterflies in iridescent colours, flying over the purple lavender bushes, wild blooming, deeply red corn roses, and a bed of catnip, which had become Crookshanks new favourite place to simply exist, slashing at bees from time to time. The orchard had dropped its overripe apples and plums into the high grown grass, making it a feast for wasps and the gnome family inhabiting the garden of the Burrow.

As the only one who did not play Quidditch, despite having been asked to join countless times, Hermione had created her own little oasis between a high grown beech tree and the door to the kitchen. She was sitting on a white and blue striped deckchair, her feet in a bucket full of cold water, an enormous, broad-brimmed straw hat on her head, and a thick novel her parents had sent her in her lap, occasionally leaning back and watching them play.

The sun was burning down on them; they had used up almost all of the sunscreen, and the heat-protection charm Mrs. Weasley had applied over the garden this morning was wearing off. The heat also brought out Y/N’s freckles, and if she had had red hair, she for sure would have passed as Ginny’s older sister. Y/N brushed a loose strand of hair that must’ve escaped out of her bun behind her ear.

It had grown over the last few weeks, now reaching past her collarbones and shimmering in a rich, warm brown tone. (Okay, maybe, she had used some magical shampoo to help the growing process before she had come to the Burrow for her summer stay, but that was a secret between her and her bathroom.)

“It’s not fair, I want to switch the teams up again,” Ginny complained. She had her arms placed on the stick of her broom, her red cheeks gleaming like round apples in the sun.

“We said we’d not switch teams within the day,” said Harry promptly, driving his hand through his hair. It had grown to a length where he could have pulled off a teeny ponytail on top of his head if he did not refuse so much to do so.

“Easy for you to say, you always get to pick Y/N while I’m left with this nutcase!” She said stubbornly.

She was right, though: It was usually Ron who got to pick his teammate first, and he exclusively chose Ginny, simply because she was the better player out of the girls.

“Blame Ron, not me,” He replied simply, still smiling. Harry definitely did not mind this rule at all, he had made it up after all.

“No, Ginny, look,” Ron said, trying to explain his seemingly brilliant tactic for the hundredth time, “you’re a good Chaser, I’m an excellent Keeper, it makes more sense that way. Technically, we should have a 100% chance to win all the –”

“You’re a rubbish Keeper! And they both got faster brooms –”

“I am not –”

“You are not playing well because you don’t have a prize to win at the end of the day,” interfered Hermione loudly, not looking up from her book. “You’ve got to play for something, like dessert.”

“More dessert sounds great,” Ron said, nodding. “I’m in.”

“You can’t just get more dessert when you win,” argued Y/N, “you always have more dessert than everyone else anyway.”

“She’s right,” Harry agreed at once.

“Then we’ll do it this way,” Ginny began, “the team that loses has to give up half of their dessert and cannot refill.”

“Why only half?” Ron asked.

“Because if we lose, it’s you who’ll give his dessert to Harry and Y/N, not me.”

Once the rules were set, they began to play the seventh session of Quidditch this afternoon. To no one’s surprise, Ron suddenly put all his effort into the game; Harry only managed to score once while Ginny’s aims were always successful.

After an hour, the evening sun was hovering over the fields now, casting long shadows, and Mrs. Weasley called from the steps of the backyard door that dinner was ready, and they should come inside now to clean themselves up.

“Hey, mum,” said Ron loudly, “what’s for dessert today?”

“Bill has brought ice cream for everyone,” She informed them. “Now come inside, you lot can help setting the table for once!”

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” said Y/N.

Ginny laughed, clutching the Quaffle underneath her left arm while high-fiving Ron with her right hand. Harry brushed his hair out of his forehead which was glinting from a thin layer of sweat.

“Now, I don’t care whose cup I’ll get,” said Ginny gloatingly as she flew back to the ground, “but if you haven’t decided until after dinner, I’ll just take the one that looks more delicious.

“We,” Ron reminded his sister, following her, “whose cup we will get. I didn’t play that well for nothing!”

Y/N turned her head to Harry, who was floating maybe three metres away from her, shielding her face with her hand against the bright sun and saying, “I’m not giving up my ice cream.”

“You didn’t hold any of Ginny’s aims,” he said, crossing his arms, leaning back. “It’s only fair if I get to keep mine.”

“You scored once because Ron sneezed,” said Y/N. “That’s not screaming impressive Quidditch player to me either.”

“Still more of an accomplishment though.”

“You’re the boy, don’t you feel bad taking away the girl’s ice cream?”

“That’s a bit sexist, isn’t it?” He tilted his head.

“Okay, how about that,” she said. “Since this is all based on playing Quidditch, let’s say the one who caught a Snitch the most recently gets the ice cream.”

“Oh, come on, I was banned!”

“That’s a bit your own fault, isn’t it?” She grinned.

“The ground to this bet was this game and you’ve just got to admit that I was better than you.”

“Never,” She said, grinning. “But I’ve got to admit that whoever gets to the kitchen first can tell Ginny whose ice cream she gets to have, so…”

Y/N nosedived down to the steps leading into the house, tossed her broom to the ground, and darted up into the hallway with a surprising speed; nevertheless, because he was blessed with longer legs and a faster broom, Harry caught up with her in a matter of seconds. Slithering over the floorboards in his white socks, he threw his arms around her waist before she could reach the kitchen and, since Mr. Weasley had waxed the floor this morning, lost his balance and pulled her down with him.

Frightened for a moment, Y/N yelped loudly and closed her eyes, waiting for a painful collision with the floor – thankfully, Harry had somehow managed to land first, wherefore she ended up on his leg instead of the floor.

“Ow!” He sounded like he really was in pain. Y/N quickly scrambled up from the hallway.

“Sorry!” She said and held out her hand to help him up. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” he said, taking her hand. It wasn't as calloused as his, and for a split moment, a warmth travelled through his veins that made him exuberant. “Nothing some ice cream couldn’t fix...”

She immediately let go of him and he slipped back down onto his ass, grinning to himself nonetheless. A sensation flooded her stomach at the look he gave her, but she had to stand her ground.

“You can’t run properly and now I’m the one who has to give up their ice cream? You’re playing a treacherous and malicious game, Potter, and I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you’re losing.”

“I know none of the words you just used.” Ron had appeared in the doorway to the kitchen, hands in his pockets. “Hey, why are you on the floor, mate?”

“I...fell,” Harry said, holding his back, as Y/N squeezed past Ron into the kitchen where Bill was stowing dozens of different-flavoured ice cream cups into the fridge. Ginny was watching him but turned upon Y/N’s entrance.

“So, who’s giving up their ice cream?” She asked, smirking mischievously and clapping her hands together.

“Harry,” answered Y/N promptly.

“A true gentleman, or as I’d call it, a stupid boy giving up a very delicious dessert,” She said, “Bill, what did you bring Harry?”

Bill closed the door of the fridge. “Dark chocolate and mint chocolate chip. I feel like I’m missing an important part of the conversation.”

“We played Quidditch earlier,” Ginny explained, “Ron and I beat those blighters and we’re getting one of their ice creams.”

“What you’re forgetting to mention,” said Y/N, halfway up the stairs to change into a different shirt, “are the other six times you lost.”

As she got back downstairs, everyone else was already outside, settling around the wooden table loaded with steaming dinner, cooled butterbeer bottles, and a few glasses full of French red wine (a gift from Fleur’s parents). Mrs. Weasley was hurrying around the table, distributing the last missing forks and knives.

“Ron, where are the napkins I gave you? And – Merlin, Ginny, we haven’t even started yet; at least wait for your father, he should be here any time soon...ah, there he is!”

With a loud BANG, Mr. Weasley appeared at the garden gate, accompanied by another woman: brown hair and blue eyes, holding a paper bag in her hands.

“Mum!” Y/N ran past the table towards the garden gate. “I thought you were working.”

“Eileen Adler took over my shift, and when I visited your father at the Ministry, Arthur invited me to dinner,” she explained, pulling her daughter into a hug. “And before I forget; congratulations on your O.W.L. results. Your dad and I are so proud of you.” She kissed Y/N's forehead and then handed her the paper bag. “I got something for you and your friends for your good grades.”

“Thank you, mum.” She hurried back to the table to unpack the gift with the others.

“Thank you, Mrs. Parker,” the three chorused, leaning over her shoulder to glance into the bag which held some chocolate and new quills for all of them.

“It’s not much, I know,” Mum said, “but most shops have closed over the last weeks. Really, Diagon Alley is a desert compared to three years ago. Except for your sons’ shop, of course,” she said to Mrs. Weasley as she sat down next to Bill, “it’s flourishing –”

“Ah, no spoilers!” said Ron loudly, “we haven’t actually been there yet.”

The mood of dinner swayed from peaceful and happy to heavy and depressing more often than any of them would have liked to; Mr. Weasley and Bill, both working for the Ministry, brought home stories of disappearances, odd accidents, even of deaths now appearing almost daily in the Prophet. Y/N’s mother too knew of these as she often had to treat the ones who survived attacks of dark magic at St. Mungo’s.

An hour later, Ginny, Fleur, and Y/N helped to clean the table and bring the desserts outside. Fleur performed a spell so that the ice cream of the adults flew dainty out of the kitchen while theirs stayed behind. Ginny was having trouble coordinating how to carry the three cups for her and Ron.

“What are you doing?” asked Ginny as Y/N filled half of her ice cream into a small, separate bowl.

“I’m being nice.”

“Shit, you’re so weird. It’s because you’re an only child,” she said, and ate a spoon full of Harry’s ice. “What? Ron inhales desserts, I have to keep up,” she explained herself.

“You amaze me,” said Y/N as she carefully cradled the bowls in her arms and walked out into the garden.

Mrs. Weasley had magically doubled her ice cream so that Y/N's mother could enjoy one as well. Right, that would have been much easier and effective than what I had done, she thought. Anyway.

“Here, surprise.” Y/N hovered the bowl of ice cream in front of Harry’s face before placing it onto the table and sitting down next to him again. He groaned and held his stomach.

“I wouldn’t have eaten so much if I had known…”

“I’m devastated you didn’t consider me your most noble, devoted friend who would go to such length of kindness as to share their beloved ice cream.” One hand on her heart, Y/N pretended to look shocked. A grin tucked at the corners of his lips.

“I have to reconsider then,” he said and took the bowl.

“Merlin, you sound like you swallowed one of Hermione’s books lately,” said Ron, rolling his eyes and spooning the whipped strawberry cream from his ice onto Ginny’s.

“Just because you can’t spell words like ‘devastated’ –” Hermione shot back.

“I did actually read your copy of Pride and Prejudice,” said Y/N, trying to prevent another one of their bickerings.

Hermione beamed at her, nudging her arm with excitement seeing as most times, she had no one she could actually talk about these novels with. “Really? Did you like it?”

Harry watched them talking. Just last week, he’d dreamed of the incident at the changing rooms last school year instead of anything related to the Ministry, and whatever he’d felt back then, it had been multiplied by ten and ran over him like a tsunami every other hour, and it was only getting worse when he saw Y/N sitting on a broom in shorts and tops all the time.

He took every opportunity to look at her when it wouldn’t be suspicious to Ron while simultaneously hoping that the longing feeling in his chest would release him because he knew whatever he was hoping and dreaming for, it could only ever be this: A dream.

It was ridiculous to think that now that he had opened up about the prophecy and there was a great chance of him dying, Y/N would ever come close to reciprocating his feelings…

Clearing up misconceptions

So a lot of people seem to believe that Abraxas Malfoy married Druella Rosier, however...

Druella Black[4] (née Rosier) (fl. 1951-1955) was a pure-blood witch who married Cygnus Black III. The couple had three daughters: Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa Black. " (Harry Potter Wiki)

So who did Abraxas marry? Honestly.... We don't know. All we know is that however it is, they are definitely not a Rosier. Perhaps he married an Avery, Macnair or Mulciber.... Or someone from a different pureblood family entirely.

Another common misconception, constantly being perpetuated by fanfiction cause people just LOVE the idea of a Teeny Tiny Wizarding world :

Dorea and Charlus Potter are James Potters parents.

They are not, as you can see right here:

"James Potter I (27 March 1960 - 31 October 1981),[1] also known as Prongs, was an English pure-blood[3][4] wizard and the only son of Fleamont and Euphemia Potter.[12]" (Harry Potter Wiki)

So what Charlus and Dorea are of James? Well, either They are his grandparents or, my own personal take, his Aunt and Uncle.

Ofc, you are free to write them as his parents if you want but not only you will be essencially erasing and/or flat out ignoring the freaking inventor of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion but also systematically destroying every chance Progstar/Starbucks, Jegulus, Sirry, Drary and whatever the heck the oficial ship name for Regulus Black/Harry Potter is (Regarry? Hagulus? Hargulus???) ever had of happening.

Look, i get why someone would want to destroy Sirry and Regulus Black/Harry Potter and as much as i love progstar, it is not that popular so it's not that surprising that someone would want to kill it. But Do you seriously want to obliterate two of the three most popular crack ships on this fandom, just so you can pretend the wizarding world is even more inbreed than it already is?

hola!! i wanted to ask why you opted for the (huge) plot contributor of lucius dying when draco was five, please correct me if i’m wrong! the single mother! narcissa trope is something i absolutely adore, as someone who comes from a single parent household as well. would love, love, love to hear your thoughts!

and secondly, i wanted to ask if your plans for theo will look a lot like draco’s canon! plot and character arc? he just seems so alike to how draco was in the books that i couldn’t help but ask

lastly, thank u, thank u so much for writing for an ensemble! cast huhu it’s something i eat up absolutely in dramione fics (like measure of a man, the wait and hope books, amor vincit omnia, and more) and i just want to say, you do it so flawlessly, effortlessly, and beautifully :(

Hello! Thank you so much, and it's my pleasure!! From one Narcissa Enjoyer to another. Two questions, two answers:

1. Why Lucius: So, when the fic was in pre-production, I was initially hunting for ways to make the premise plausible — Draco's obviously not a Gryffindor in canon, so something must have happened to make that change. There's a couple of ways I answer that in Book 1, hopefully so that readers with various levels of skepticism can both accept it; the initial explanation is that, given his father's death, being raised alone and without the traditional protection of a Malfoy patriarch, bravery is just a more important trait in Draco's life. He can't go running to daddy every time there's a problem, so he has to develop a little bit of grit right off the mark. He's also more subdued and taciturn than he is in canon, again, as a result of being raised by Narcissa (who is no more or less pretentious or cruel than Lucius, but she's quieter about it, probably due in some way to the gender dynamics of it all). It also relates to Draco's new status as head of house; his personal reputation matters more than it does if Lucius is alive, so he can't really be out here throwing his weight around all the time and risking political capital on teeny-bopper bullshit. (This is the point of the Chapter 2 train scene with Crabbe and Goyle, which takes place pre-sorting, to establish his personality independent of his House/the Golden Quartet.) He also couldn't pick fights even if he wanted to, because Narcissa doesn't have the same sort of heavyweight reputation that Lucius does (again, Chapter 3, "my mother will hear about this," which fazes no one. It's not that she's less powerful than Lucius — she just doesn't use it in the same way). Besides all that, in this world, he was trained in Narcissa's school of politics, not Lucius's. There's a lot less brute force involved in hers, which lets him integrate more easily with the people he needs to meet and befriend in Book 1, in order for them to help him change.

That's all meat-and-potatoes technical stuff. On a more theme-y ideas level, as I was outlining Lionheart, I realized that the story I wanted to tell about Narcissa couldn't work if Lucius was alive, and that his death was a really fruitful ground for a more interesting story featuring her at the center. She's the nexus of the Black and Malfoy lines; this is explored a lot more in Book 5, but if there's anyone who really represents the full weight of Draco's heritage, it's her. (Her pedigree is better than Lucius's!) And Lucius is such a huge presence in Malfoy Manor that I don't think she could have shone in the same way with him there. You can see in canon how much Draco absorbs and adores his father's influence; that's a real pain to write around if you want to take him in a different direction, and it washes out Narcissa by comparison.

*biographical note: Lucius dies in early summer of 1988, when Draco is 8 years old (in Chapter 1 he's identified as "eight years old," + there's "midsummer rain" at his funeral, meaning Draco's early-summer birthday must have already passed). The five-year-old thing might come from another line related to Lucius's backstory: Lucius is in Azkaban for much of Draco's toddler years, from about 1 or 2 to five years old. So Draco gets his father back at five, and then has him for three years, meaning his influence is even less potent. I wouldn't ordinarily nitpick about this, because for all intents and purposes it's the same thing, but there's a bit of backstory related to why Lucius dies that's tied to the fact that he went to Azkaban, so I wanted to lay out the timeline as well as possible. When this stuff becomes relevant to canon (especially when Bellatrix comes back), I might put out an official Timeline for major events 1965-1991, because I'm definitely throwing around a lot of dates and off-camera events early on, and it's a bit much to expect any reader to have it by heart 300,000 words later.

2. Plans for Theo: I've gotta invoke a bit of RAFO with any answer about future plans, but I can talk about what I've written already! Theo is supposed to be a foil to Draco, and he obviously draws a lot from canon!Draco in social placement and privilege, but I don't intend him to have a copy/pasted version of Draco's plotline. Draco's canonical involvement with his father's work/Death Eater movement doesn't really start until Book 6, while Theo is getting involved with the Ministry much earlier; I wanted to have more time to describe the influence of that sort of pressure on a child, and to really interrogate his psychology in a way that Half-Blood Prince (by no fault of its own; it's Harry's story, after all!) couldn't do for canon!Draco. So the timeline of his involvement is accelerated, for one thing.

There's also the fact that Draco in HBP is clearly an unwilling recruit, to say nothing of incompetent. He manages the Vanishing Cabinet, but it's clear he's set up to fail with Dumbledore, and his assignment is a punishment for Lucius, not an actual ask. Meanwhile, Theo is getting roped in because his father actually wants him to be, and he's doing real work with the League and his father's contacts. In consequence, while Half-Blood Prince Draco is a terrified and hostile young boy, Theo is — well, he's also those things, but he's also being groomed and corrupted to take an active role in implementing his father's work. That's a bit different from taking a suicide mission at gunpoint. (For reference, HBP!Draco thinks the Dark Lord will kill him and his family if he fucks this up; it's not at all clear, at least in Book 4, that Theo is acting under an equivalently serious threat). We also see Theo starting to take on this sort of hierophantic I-Know-Best-So-Shut-Up persona, which is... well, we don't see a lot of Sibelius Nott in the fic, but it's perhaps not unfamiliar, based on his scenes from Book 3. In my mind, the most interesting question Theo presents is: at what point does this become his fault? Which complicates the idea of a "your-environment-defines-you" that Draco's arc with Narcissa and Gryffindor comes to represent. Like, yes, his environment defines him — but it's still him. You still have choices. So, reciprocally, we might give Draco a bit more credit than just chalking his evolution up to his friends. Just because it was easier for one of them to redeem themselves doesn't mean it's impossible for the other.

Basically: like most of the arcs, I wanted to take something from canon and give it a slight new spin. Theo's living an arc very similar to canon!Draco's, but I'm developing his character in a bit of a different direction, and hopefully those tiny adjustments early-on will end up having large impacts for his trajectory. A lot of the parallels derive from the fact that he's sort of used as a litmus for how much Draco is changing: he's living what might have been Draco's life, but wasn't.

It’s always interesting to read the Q’s you get. One thing I’ve wondered about is how many people seem to have other people on their case..dealing with “antis” of one sort or another. I don’t experience any of this drama. I wonder if it’s because I ship a popular pairing, where there’s a ton of content and some excellent authors. I’ll see random posts come thru my tumblr of people decrying this non canon ship (essentially saying enemies-to-lovers is toxic), but I assume they’re teeny boppers & ignore. My own posts are only ever praise for the authors I love. I don’t think I’ve ever had a negative reply. I guess my question is—do you think my experience is the norm? Or are lots of people out there feeling harassed or just having an angsty time of it while they’re just trying to enjoy their ship?

You'll sometimes get virulent hate campaigns for something like Reylo (where people are mad about a specific other ship), but a lot of the juggernaut het with white characters more or less gets left alone.

Queer ships and nonwhite ships get held to a higher standard and critiqued out of existence. Canons that try harder to be progressive tend to attract more of this behavior.

Ships with a direct, obvious rival also attract more nonsense. Prior to the books finishing, the Ron/Hermione and Harry/Hermione camps fought a lot because they both thought their ship would be canon. Other Hermione shippers didn't think they were in the running and did not care about this stupid fighting.

My guess is that many antis will look at Draco/Hermione and assume you're a lost cause. They might focus on telling people to stop liking HP entirely, but they probably don't have a specific rival ship in direct competition with this one.

Shippers of vaguely problematique but pretty standard het ships also tend to be hard to guilt trip. They know what they like is mainstream. They'll laugh off haters. The tastier targets are the ones shipping something self consciously progressive. You can often convince those people that even though whatever it is is very progressive, it's not progressive enough.

A bigger ship can definitely insulate you, but I think it's more about the type of ship and your perceived vulnerability.

This became a longer post than I thought, so I put the recs under the readmore line (I really hate long posts showing up in my time line).

Ron struggles with what to do when he realizes that there can only be terrible reasons for why Harry isn’t responding to his letters. Little does he know that Ron’s distress is just as worrying for his family.

This is adorable, angsty and just beautiful. I also recommend everything else by that author, but all of their stuff is over on FFN. My favs are The Boogeyman (read the A/N at the beginning!) and Spitfire.

Teaching Lily chess started as a way to keep her occupied and out of everyone’s hair. It grew into much more than that.

This is a really great story about Ron and Lily Luna. A sweet family story.

Ron maybe accidentally-on-purpose becomes a dark wizard, and everything changes.

Oh definitely 'Finally 39' . It's 100% not what I generally write or think about writing. It's Hermione Granger x Sirius Black and while not necessarily dark per se, it's definitely not fluff like all my other works. It's based on the song 29 by Demi Lovato and the idea crawled up my intestines and latched onto my lungs until I got it on paper. I love it, it's written just for me.

So I am newwww to the dramione world and unfortunately my adventure started with Manacled and was follow by The Auction. So now I am desperately searching a fic that is anywhere near as good as Manacled. I read that entireeee thing in three days because I was hooked!

I started both breathmints/battle scars and Isolation and as it turns out, asshole Draco does not do it for me, I need a bit more depth to be intrigued. (Don’t get me wrong, both lovely fics, but doesn’t have my preference)

So would you have any recommendations with a good in depth character build and a good plot?

Being the anxious person he is, you actually somehow ended up being the one to calm him down as he had a panic attack about being at a new school. Once he was actually able to function properly and have a conversation, he helped you understand what happens at Hogwarts; the houses, house points, rivalries ect.

• You both grew to share interests like looking after animals and plants. Sorry to stereotype Hufflepuffs here but if you're surrounded by something that everyone likes, you're going to have at least a teeny tiny interest in it. Anyways, you help him look after Trevor better since you end up basically knowing everything about amphibians since you're interested in animals which live in water.

• You start 'dating' in fifth year when he finally finds the courage to ask you out on a date, but your relationship stays the same as it had been before, just a bit more touchy. The date ends up being a small picnic beside the lake. He'd had a crush on you since second year so knew all your favourate foods, packing a tub of snickerdoodles amungst other things.

• The only major fall out you'd had was in sixth year when your new owl tried to each Trevor on the first day back from Christmas break. Even then, the silent treatment didn't last for more than a day, Neville ended up bringing you a few pastries as a peace offering of sorts.

• Okay so. He finds out that your slightly insecure about your appearance and he is not having it babes. He starts complimenting you whenever he gets the chance, usually at breakfast when you see each other because your tables are right next to each other ~ "Your hair looks so beautiful today." "Aw, thanks." *que Ron being an ass and Hermione having a go at him* "You're such a wuss-" "Honestly Ron, you're so insensitive. He's giving her a compliment-" ~

• During breaks from school you can't see each other much. His Gran doesn't want him wondering too far from the house and your family want to spend the entire break with you because they barely get to see you since you go to a boarding school. Luckily, thanks to your pet owl, you send letters alot. At the end of fourth year you tried to teach him how to use a Nokia so youse could text instead of having to send letters all the time, but after finding out that phones weren't used by wizards for a reason, you decided to stick with letters.

• On special days, like your birthdays or 'anniversaries' ect., youse go to the kitchens after spending an afternoon in the Hufflepuff common room. The evenings consist of laughs, bad jokes and lots and lots of pastries, which he refuses to let you feel guilty about eating.

• All in all I think you two would make such a cute couple. Like seriously, everyone in your year group and the year groups below would be jealous of how cute you are together.
