Gabriel As Your Garudian Angel

~ first of all its the first and almost only thing he has ever tooken seriously

~when he found out he didn't really care. Michael and Lucifer were desened to inhabit the Winchesters bodies and he got the boring job of being Bobby Singer's Nieces.

~when he first met you he immediately took the roll. He Loved your personality and stuck around.

~you were a kid when you first met so you just thought he was an imaginary friend.

~he hung around in your toddler years but slowly stopped showing up when you befriend Sam and dean

~he felt like you didn't need him anymore so he protected you from a far

~after awhile you forget the angel and figured the boy with golden wings was an imaginary friend.

~you didn't have encounter intill years. You were an adult and a hunter.

~your first case involving him he was just know as the trickster. He left you untouched but screwed with Sam and Dean.

~that pattern continued when with the mystery spot Fiasco. Gabe knew how much you cared for Dean so he didn't put you in the time loop with Sam.

~that same time period he didn't bring Dean back till you asked.

~during his TV land joke he purposely put you and the boys in shows you liked. Like Dr. Sex MD was based off Greys anatomy(a show you liked)

~after that you confronted him while he was in the holy fire.

~ “I'm always left untoched during your practical jokes, why is that?”

~“you don't remember me? I'm hurt Sugar”

~for some reason you showed murcy on him and convinced the boys to let him go.

~“I always thought you were my imaginary friend”

~“I stopped hanging around because you had the boys... I guess I thought you didn't need me anymore so I protected you from a far”

~after that he wouldn't leave you alone. It annoyed the hell out of the boys but you brushed it off.

~he'd always wake you up with his favorite song heat of the moment. Or he'd wake you up like an alarm that was set on radio mode.

~“Gooooodd Morning miss. Y/n Singer. It's a beautiful day in Lawrence Kansas. The weather is gonna be sunny and dry. But better get ready because the forecast predicts a pesky Windego on the loose. I'm your host Gabriel the Trickster”

~you guys grew close and your friendship kinda turned romantic to both of your fright.

~guardian angels aren't supposed to fall in love with their person. It was just the rules.

~then again when did gabe ever follow the rules.

~after yours and Dean's failed atempt to a relationship gabe flew in.

~it started off casual. You slept together once or twice but Never confermed anything.

~not wanting that in a relationship you told him how you felt.

~“everyday I'd wake up to your stupid music and your stupid voice. I feel in love deeper and deeper with you”

~you kept it on the down low afraid of how the boys would react. But after one of his tricks it came out, but it also caused Sam to break his arm.

~that was the biggest flaw in your relationship. His ability to not care that he screws with your Family.

~“I'm tired of you hurting them all the time. We're a team. If you hurt them, you hurt me...some guardian angel you are”

~that hurt the both of you but it proved you two were ment to stay friends. It also made you realize the whole relationship was something you guys wanted to do because it was going against the rules.

~he reminded faithful to his Job and his friendship to you. He even helped you fix your relationship with Dean(which is who you belong with).

~the first time you watched him died hurt worse than any wound you got on the job. He lied there lifeless after saving you from Lucifer.

~the boys didn't know how to comfort you. It felt like part of you was missing.

~after you found out Asmodeus had captured and torchored gabe you were beyond furious.

~gabe was beyond scared when he was in the bunker but he trusted you. It was your turn to protect him.

~you where the one to convince him to take his grace and heal himself.

~“I need you gabe, I can't lose you again”

~ he stayed around again and even helped you look after Jack who you took under your wing. He took the role of an uncle oddly seriously.

~then came your time in purgatory. You were determined to get jack back and gabe wasn't gonna let you go alone. Even if you had your boyfriend Dean. And by the laws of heaven he had no choice.

~that wasn't his mind set. You were and always be his best friend. There ain't no him with out you.

~he never left your side during your time in purgatory. It angered Dean but gabe could care less. It was unnatural for him because you'd think he'd take it to his advantage but he didn't.

~during that time Lucifer teased the both of you. It infuriated gabe and he did his best to keep distance between the both of you.

~“lay one hand on her it'll be the last thing you ever do”

~during the cold nights you lied awake next to gabe wrapped in his leather jacket.

~when it was time for you to leave gabe didn't make it back. And he was gone for real this time.

~it took all Sam's power to pull you back as you screamed and cried his name.

~while everyone celebrated there return home you stayed in your room in the bunker crying in his leather jacket he left with you.

~the pockets of the jacket were filled with candy wrappers(you never took them out).

~What hurt the worst was there was a gold feather in the pocket as well. His feather.

~you wore it on a necklace and psychologically it made you feel safer.

~after he died your post hunt injuries hurt worse and they were more often. That proved gabe did his job well.

~Dean didn't know how to help you. He comforted you when you cried but Castile was the only one that willingly talked to you about it.

~“he really did care about you... In fact him being your guardian angel was the only thing he ever took seriously.”

~Cas later tried to take the job because he thought gabe would want that but her couldn't.

~you only get one gaurdian angel and gabe was the best and only one.

And then you let him sit there dying when the threat isn't that he'll die now, but that you will come back if needed (mayor ain't going to say what you want him to say if you kill his son, the point is if he doesn't say it you'll come back)! I'm worried about you.

Brian I understand why you like my daughter and she seems to like you and I'm glad having someone you feel safe with is helping you process your very valid trauma (important note, you could have done the same with your sister, she was trying to help you but you wouldn't open up to her, you should open up to her). Parian is one of my absolute favorite characters! Flechette is pretty cool as well. Being a hero hurts her. Stabbing my daughter also didn't build good marks with me, but I understand why she did it. I'm glad Parian isn't joining Coil full hog at least, she's too pure to be a villain (or a "hero"). I kinda wish she could just move to New York and be a fashion designer and live her best life, but I do enjoy the idea of getting to see her more.

And to be honest, I don't think anyone on Earth Bet is really going to be living their best life in the long run. Sorry guys.

The fucking shutdown the team gives to the Nazis is AMAZING! Like ya no Hookwolf or Purity this time, that obviously would have made it harder. But still, comparing the previous fight to this just really shows how much the team has increased in power. They didn't even bring Grue.

Skitter and Tattletale being able to work together to find all the people in a few block radius and figure out which groups are Nazis, all while just standing in the middle of the street, is so fucking cool. I fucking love watching them work.

I don't love the girlfriends fighting with the whole "Skitter wasn't told about the plan to have Regent yoink a Nazi". But they seemed to make up pretty quickly.

Skitter fucking running multiple bug clones, with cameras and microphones, all across her territory, and using them to talk to people and check in on things, WHILE getting surgery on her shoulder??! FUCKING HELL. Like ok yes, please love yourself child and let yourself take it easy sometimes. But also holy shit that is so god damn amazing. I am 100% convinced (I mean, I have been since like Arc 4 TBH) that she uses her bugs to basically offload her pain. Or offloads her mind to her bugs so she can ignore the pain in her body. Same idea. Like even if it's never confirmed it is true to me. And the multitasking! Give Taylor a Thinker classification!!

Just fucking attacking the mayor's family to intimidate him into telling people in Washington to not condemn Brockton Bay huh? I mean sure it kinda worked at the end (assuming he does what he said he would) but it really seems like a terrible plan. Like, the people in Washington are gonna hear about the attack and wonder about everything the mayor says. But fine, that's the plan.

Skitter making the bug clones complex enough that Trickster and Genesis don't even notice she's a clone at first is super cool! Also it does drive home that she is always just covered with so many bugs and using swarm speech so much that when a version of her shows up that is completely covered in bugs and speaks fully with swarm speech it doesn't throw anyone off.

Coil had to know that Triumph was the mayor's kid. The fact that he's the one who pushed to have them attack during family dinner.

I'm really proud of Skitter for figuring it out though! I pegged him as a cape pretty much right away and was able to figure out it was Triumph not long after, but she was in the heat of the moment. Also she got the girlfriend pegged as a either Prism or Ursa while I was still uncertain if she was a cape.

Holy shit that fight was so fucking cinematic! Perfectly built for Triumph to look cool by exploding bug clones with his shouts. And with Prism splitting and combining constantly. Just fuck. I'd love to see an animation of that fight. It was super cool.

And again, Skitter got dark there. And sadly I'm worried she's gonna get darker.

If you had a Pokemon team, what would you have?

Since I'm peddling pokemon to you guys, (cough go check out the post cough) now is the perfect time to answer this ask from year(s?) ago!

If you're a pokè enthusiast you'll know why the picks. If not I'll list below the reasons I picked them!

Morgrem the "Devious Pokemon".

Behavior: Morgrem are conniving and heinous. They sometimes find it amusing to cause people who are lured by them into forests during midnight to get lost forever. At times, they pretend to apologize through kneeling, before abruptly shooting its spear-like hair from their scalps to attack their fooled foes.

Trickster is based on Dokkaebi, or "Goblins", so I thought it was pretty fitting.

The duality of Naughty & Nice with the Dark + Fairy typing is fitting for his persona.

"Idol trainers" in pokemon usually use fairy types... so it's as close as he can get.

Added to that, Morgrem's evolution line is the only pokemon so far to learn "False Surrender" where an apology is feigned, only to ruthlessly attack (sounds familiar to All-Kill's tome).

It also feeds off of negativity and suffering (its pre-evo impidimp mostly). Considering how sadistic Trickster is, I'd say it's perfect.

Dartrix the "Blade Quill Pokemon".

Behavior: This alert Pokémon is sensitive to the presence of others around it, and is capable of launching attacks on unseen enemies behind it. It propels its blade quills at enemies or prey with astounding precision. By bending the feathers, it can even alter the trajectory of its strikes. Dartrix is narcissistic by nature, spending a lot of time grooming its feathers to maintain its appearance. This compulsion will occasionally lead to it losing focus when its plumage is ruffled or dirty, even retiring from battle to preen. It has been described as a bit of a birdbrain as it has a tendency to make mistakes; when it does, it sometimes tries to cover it up, which ends up making the situation worse. A Trainer who helps Dartrix through this difficult stage of its life will allow it to reach its full strength. Conversely, Dartrix will refuse to listen to a Trainer who doesn't diligently help it, groom.

In Hisui, Dartrix tends to expose itself to sunlight in order to gain power, presumably due to the region's cold climate.

Kind of self-explanatory, but throwing knives = blade feathers.

Narcissistic and always looking good.

Its regional variant likes the sunlight- Trickster likes the spotlight.

Yun-Jin took care of him so well- and he got too "strong" for his own good. Definitely became troublesome once there was a conflict with his management.

Gourgeist the "Pumpkin Pokemon".

Behavior: Gourgeist are mischievous and sometimes malevolent Pokémon. They wander town streets on moonless nights, singing in an eerie voice to frighten people. When hunting, they entangle their prey with their hairlike arms and seem to enjoy the suffering of their victims.

It is said that the ghastly noises emanating from Gourgeist's body are the cries of souls suffering in the afterlife.

Another self-explanatory one. Makes scary music = Sings scary songs.

They both like to see their prey suffer

And use the cries of suffering in stuff they make.

Also, the entangling people portion reminds me of Crowd Control and No Way Out.

Oh and it can learn fire-type moves ;) (Yes, I'm going there. A lot.)

Ninetales the "Fox Pokemon".

Behavior: While intelligent enough to easily understand human speech, Ninetales is a very vengeful Pokémon that has been known to curse those who mistreat it. It can live for 1,000 years due to the energy within its nine tails, each of which is said to have a different mystical power. They can control wisps and flames through mystical forces, as well as hypnotize victims and prey through flickering flames emitted from their mouths. They can even release odd beams from their red eyes to manipulate a person's heart and mind at their own whims. Being the result of evolution via Evolution stone, Ninetales are rarely found in the wild, though they can be found in grasslands.

Picked because I just think Kumiho are cool creatures, and Ninetales is a fire type.

Seen as rare and with golden fur. Very luxurious for a pokemon, which fits Trickster well.

Spiteful! I'd say Trickster very much cursed Yun-Jin into being stuck in the fog with him.

It can also hypnotize or cast illusions (in the anime) on people, which I think ties in with Trickster's StarStruck and Crowd Control really well (Malamar was a close replacement, but fire typing won out.)

The alolan variant event gets idolized- Trickster's not kind enough to warrant it but... the "legend" is there.

Chandelure the "Luring Pokemon".

Behavior: Legend claims that by waving its arms about, Chandelure is able to mesmerize its victims and drain their life force in order to power up its own flames; any victim drained of their spiritual essence would end up as a hollow shell. It is said that any spirits that get incinerated by Chandelure's flames end up losing their way and are forced to wander the mortal world forever. Chandelure is known to reside in rundown mansions. There is a rumor that funerals were a constant occurrence for people that lived in homes that were illuminated by Chandelure in place of lights.

Yep, we went there.

This is just reliving the No-Spin glory days. Fire Moon performance, anyone?

But hey! The lights causing funerals are pretty on par with how Trickster works. The more lights there are, the more he's getting away with causing funerals.

Oh yeah, the lure thing again too. Another Starstruck reference! (It's a trend.)

Litwick (it's first phase) is seen to be a guide for those lost in the dark, when really it drains people who follow it. I like to think this is similar to how Ji-Woon would tell Yun-Jin (and others) that macabre sound and themes was his way to cope, that he was the silver lining to a tragedy. (But it only ends in more tragedy).

There's something poetic about fire being destructive, but also itself being so filled with energy and "rebirthing". Rejuvenating Trickster much like NoSpin and his victims did to keep him going and shining brighter.

Yamask the "Spirit Pokemon".

Behavior: On the end of its long slender appendage, it cradles a gold mask that used to be its face when it was human. When gazing at the mask that resembles its former human self, Yamask sometimes sobs over looking at it. It becomes furious when the mask is lost or taken away. If someone wears the mask Yamask carries, they will become possessed by the Yamask. It rambles through ruins, searching for someone who knows its face.

It's always crying, Trickster's got the crying makeup. Aesthetic for the win.

It also looks like a bird, which Trickster did the whole 'phoenix' concept for his world tour- so it's fitting.

Looking for people to recognize them. Love that need for validation.

If Chandelure was No-Spin influenced, this one is Crescendo.

I'll be honest, I had this guy on here before Trickster's gold mask release happened, so now it's even more fitting.

Remember when Yun-Jin took away his mask, and that promptly led up to Trickster deciding he was going to kill MighteeOne and her finally? Yeah.

But hey Yun-Jin got to wear the mask herself when trying to save Ji-Woon... maybe not the only time either. (They do seem to have a lot in common... seeking talent and looking for something new. Possession and manipulation isn't too different, right?)

Time for some real big boy Headcanons though; Yeah Trickster's a nostalgic guy. His tome had him reflecting back on what he started from, and how he got to where/what he is.

He knows he's no longer "human". He became something else. He calls it a "god" (Not lost on me that Yamask's Evo, Cofagrigus is literally a golden tomb meant for kings and wealth that will hurt people that get too close/greedy {-cough Magnum Opus Performance cough-} You can't take it with you... or can you?)- but a lot of HC thoughts and cosmetics he has have suggested "Ji-Woon" may have died with No-Spin.

He doesn't lament the loss of NS or Yun-Jin- at least "Trickster" doesn't, but I like to think there's a small tiny itty bitty sliver of guilt and remorse/mourning for No-Spin from the Ji-Woon that still exists buried inside. We see it framed as Trickster looking for creative freedom- I like to think of it as looking for an outlet because he doesn't want- or know how to cope properly. His career was literally on the line, so the pressure fell on him to perform, so he did.

I do think he cried during Magnum Opus because- one: He finally let it all out; but two: He came to terms with how "un-human" he was, and how much he actually liked(?) it.

Anyway, I like to dedicate this pokemon to represent the "spirit" of Ji-Woon.
