(Genuine question) but as someone who spends an inordinate amount of time on Wookiepedia, don't you ever feel like it'd be easierand definitely more enjoyable to just read or watch the damn thing (=the source material). Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you said you rather research stuff and aren't as familiar with the source material (which in case of Star Wars... Is a lot)

Nothing will ever top Quinlan Vos' introduction to the new canon for me. Everything about it, from Cody obviously knowing Quinlan personally (or at least semi-personally), to Obi-Wan calling him crazy, to "Well, that's your opinion, man." Nothing will ever top that for me ever.
