My favorite animals all remind me of people and kind of make me sad…parrots, monkeys, whales, cats, pigs, sheep, sea lions, penguins. Animals I don’t like are like lions, horses, wolves, bears, snakes, rodents, bugs, any annoying ass bird that makes a “caw” sound etc. i used to like spiders and tbh I feel like of all the bugs they are arguably the most chill/ respectable but idk I’ve turned a new leaf and I hate spiders now…Some animals are so helpless I don’t even find them cute I find them annoying like puffins, puppies, small fish, frogs, mice

we only got to grow bacteria ONCE and it was banned after for reasons of people are dumb, i do have a jar of what i’m assuming is some bacteria a lot of algae some plants and a few other microbes that i’ve had for 7+ years. it is orange and green now and i’ve not opened it once

i’ve never done a dissection so i’m well jealous also re: being able to dissect a shark, there are many advantages to being marine biologist

i think the closest i got to dissection was a lambs heart which we cut open to see the different chambers (heart came from a butchers)

see despite the dyslexia brain work better when read + anything else

ALSO ALSO there is a cluster fly right next to me and can i just say it flies so slowly and as it should tbh why fly fast when you could vibe and sneak up on me like there’s no tomorrow (it’s real cute tho)

what’s your opinions on flies/wasps or what most people describe as ‘pests’

i wouldn't open that! i once accidentally cultivated something that looked like a strawberry plant and mold. never breathed what i could deem clean air since i threw it out for obvious reasons.

i've done many dissections and i actually dissected a "fetal" (that thing was way too big) pig the other day. 9/10 the preserving chemicals smelled very strong but i liked getting my hands (gloved of course) in that chest cavity.

ooh yeah, i got to dissect a sheep heart. eye, too. it was supposed to be a cow heart, but i did not get that in the mail... heart's a heart.

MY FRIENDS ALL HATE WASPS BUT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!! we've got tons of wasps around my house and they love nesting under the deck. i feel bad that i have to knock them down in the winter because we have dogs that we need t'keep safe, and they aren't known for being. calm.

i don't think i've ever seen a cluster fly. i know we've got sweat bees, which aren't even close to that. i like sweat bees, though. wish they wouldn't get stuck in my hair. if you're going to land on me to get at my sweat, at least be careful, buddy!

we've got woodpeckers and crows and robins all duking it out in our yard. the people across the street have a cat that loves me though, so it's contested territory. what's your favorite bird that you see around?

totally unrelated 1 am side note but. all farm animals are so baby u guys. I cannot think of a single farm animal I dislike or would turn down the opportunity to be around. Poultry, pigs, cattle, goats, sheep, horses?? all top favorite animals for me. I'm too much of a softy to farm animals, but boy do I love their company.

#seriously if i ever have rural property im getting like. at least pet birds??? #i dont even LIKE eggs or meat and yet i would willing get just. so many chickens as pets #or goose. idk why im just very fond of a goose or a ducks face #if i where to farm pasture or even a large garden i could see having a pair of pet pigs to naturally till and fertilize the land #i could also see keeping pet goats for their personalities #or sheep to make fiber art with #cows make little sense for me but i love them #horses are of course baby #tbh most likely are pigs sheep and birds #my friend whomst i plan to live with HATES pigs tho so #hard sell #but sheeps and A Type Of Bird would be nice
