Summary: JJ keeps coming to the same tattoo artist just to hangout with his crush and then he finally has the guts to ask her out

JJ Maybank has been coming into my tattoo parlor for sometime now and I’ve noticed he’s always smirking or flirting with me while I tattoo him up, I mean of course he’s gonna wince or scrunch his face at the pain but I’m starting to feel like he’s just coming here for one reason.

One day I was sitting in the shop tattooing a girl up with a shark tattoo on her ankle and that’s when I spot jj waiting patiently in the lobby, as I finish up the girls tattoo I put some clear wrap on it to keep it clean and she gets up and walks out and that’s when JJ walks in the room.

“What is it this time jj?” I say to him as he lays down on the bed in front of me.

“What I can’t come in and pay you to give me a tattoo” he says with a flirtatious smirk on his face as he brings his arms up and lays them behind his neck to rest his head on them.

I roll my eyes playfully and give him a small smile “well jj ever since you first came in here you come in here almost everyday to get a new tattoo” I say scooting my chair closer to him as I put black rubber gloves on “Are you sure you’re not in here for any other reason?”

JJ scoffs “oh please nobody would want to date you, plus I love tattoos” he says still with a smirk on his face.

“I never said anything about dating jj” I say as I get the tattoo stuff ready.

JJ starts to blush and looks at the paintings on the wall to hide his face “These are some nice paintings, who painted them?” He says trying to change the subject.

I chuckle as I stare at him “alright what tattoo are you getting this time?” I say with my hand on my knees as he looks back at me.

“I was thinking a surfboard on my ankle, what do you think?” He says sitting up so that his ankle is more on the tattoo bed “not bad, I can see if I could do that” I say as I spray his ankle and start to shave the hairs on his ankle.

“I like surfing as much as I like you” he says with a smirk and I look up and he winks at me “that was so corny, but I like you too jj” I say with a smile.

I start to do his tattoo on his ankle and “sorry I know it hurts” I say and I go to look up at him and his face is scrunched with his eyes shut “it’s okay, it’s gonna hurt it’s a tattoo” he says and he opens his eyes and smirks at me.

I finish up the tattoo and I wrap his tattoo with clear wrap to keep it clean and he gets up and pulls out his wallet “here’s 30 bucks keep the change” he says with a smirk on his face “thank you jj” I say with a smile taking the money

“Hey can I ask you something?” He says looking at me “yea of course anything” I say tucking the money in my pocket and looking up at him “do you wanna maybe hang out somewhere just you and me” he says with a smirk “Maybank are you asking me out on a date?” I say with amusement on my face.

“No no.. Maybe” he says blushing “I would love to go out on a date with you” I say with a smile “pick you up after your shift?” He says before walking out “see you soon” I say with blushing and jj walks out the shop with the hugest smirk in his face adjusting his hat.

Later that night 8:00pm

I’m starting to clean everything up and shut the lights off and as soon as I’m about to walk out the tattoo parlor to lock it up I see jj walk in with a smirk on his face “hey princess” he says with his hands in his pockets.

“Hey jj I was just locking up” I say grabbing my purse and keys and walking towards him “ready to go” he ask me I say as we both step out as I lock the doors “yea ready whenever you are” I say turning around and facing him.

He holds his hand out for me to take and I take it and we start to walk towards the beach holding hands “so where are we going” I ask looking at him as we walk “you’ll see” he says with a smile.

At the beach

We’re both sitting in the blanket looking out at the water “so why did you bring me to the beach” I say looking over at him “like I say I love surfing and I love the beach it’s my favorite place and your my favorite girl” he says with a smirk looking back at me and we both stare at each other with love in our eyes.

I look at his eyes then at his lips and he looks at my lips “your so beautiful like the sunset” he says and we both lean forward and kiss and he grabs my face and deepens the kiss and he bites my lip asking for me to open my mouth and I open my mouth and he slides his tongue in my mouth and our tongues dance together.

I pull for air and I’m breathing heavily looking at him with love in my eyes and we both just sit there and smile together looking at each other.

Ever since that day me and jj have been dating and we’re both in love with each other and he promised me he wouldn’t keep coming in and getting tattoos because he kept on coming in and getting them but in the end I love him and he loves me.
