Reviewing the Ultimate Lip Product

In the world of beauty, new trends are constantly on the rise along with new makeup brands and products. The competition between different beauty brands is tough as consumers are always on the lookout for the best products at a great price. Brand loyalty is very apparent in the beauty industry, but makeup lovers will easily make a switch of product if they find a product that offers them more. A beauty concept that has been around for centuries and is here to stay is lip color. To many, lip color can be accomplished from many different types of products such as lipstick, gloss, lip balm, tint, and even chapstick. In this blog article, we will be reviewing a couple of my all-time favorite lip products and why you give them a chance.

Coming in at number one is by Tarte Cosmetics - the Maracuja Juicy Lip lines. There are three lines of this product, Maracuja Lip Balm, Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump, and Maracuja Juicy Lip Shift. Each offers a different effect but has the same appearance when wearing. For example, the lip balm (considered the original of the three) offers a lightweight, glossy color to the lips. The lip plump offers the same as the balm but accentuates the lips with a plumping formula. Lastly, the lip shift still offers the same but changes color according to the pigment in your lips.

What I will be reviewing more in-depth today is the lip plump line. The Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump is offered in 18 natural shades that truly look good on everyone. My personal favorite shades are Mixed Berry and Tulip. What I like about these shades is that they are very subtle, but have enough color to make a difference in your makeup look. Not only do they add the perfect amount of color, but give a glossy look without the stickiness. I truly believe the only downside of this Tarte lip product is that it transfers easily, but in return, a little product goes a long way so you won't be finding yourself using up the product quickly.

Something that I think is really important to note about these products is how hydrating they are. I have had a history of having dry and peeling lips and have always been looking for the best products and I have tried a plethora of balms. My experience with the Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump regarding hydration has been phenomenal. I have worn this product on my lips for 10+ hours and never experienced dryness or peeling as I have with other lip products.

Overall, there are a lot of great lip products on the market, but I find the Maracuja Juicy Lip lines to be one of the best. Great colors are offered, amazing hydration, and the product packaging is outstanding. While I do highly recommend this lip product and if you want to compare, I would try the Lenaige Lip Balm as it has a similar feeling, but lacks color.
