Ok I just spent the last like three hours balls deep in Alice in wonderland fanfics and um

No offense absolutely I'm glad there's fanfics at all and y'all are amazing for writing but

Is it just me or can't the fandom tag. Like ok I've been reading Alice Kingsleigh/Mirana of Marmoreal and like one Tarrant Hightopp/Ilosovic Stayne

Which obviously isn't the most common ship in the fandom so the pickings are even slimmer

Also is it just me or do y'all write weird

Like most fics are super super short (I'm used to 2 000 to 10 000 one shots??) Or super long and desperately unfinished? And a lot of fics are crossovers? And there's also just no normal fics you'd expect in a fandom, like where's all the love confessions and the pwps and slowburns? Because if they're there they're desperately untagged. Why is so much of it taking place in the real world? So. Many. Questions.

Notes - I’m so sorry! You sent this in when I was gone and had a lot of catching up to do and I totally missed it! Well here it is, it's really not the best, I’m really tired because it's the middle of the night where I’m at, so I may rewrite it. Hope you enjoy. :)

“[Name]?” Alice calls out to you. Your sittin in your shared room at Tarrant’s house, in bed reading a book.

“Yes, Alice?” You respond. Alice lives there now. You two were almost inseparable, but not as much as you and Tarrant.

“Hatters gone, well,” She starts, poking her head in the room, “you see he-”

“He’s having an episode again isn’t he?” you crawl out of bed and tie on your boots before stepping over to the door of the room.

“I’m afraid so.” Alice gives you a faint smile.

“Alright, let's go.” You both run down the stairs, you grab your bag and hat on the way out the door. 

You both arrive at the castle doors, adjusting your hat as you walk in. Mirana greets you at the doors.

“Oh [Name]! It’s a good thing Alice found you. We’ve managed to help a little, but he is still yelling and pacing quite a lot.”

“Alright, where is he?”

“In his workroom.” Mirana says, leading the way. When you get there, you walk in, shutting the door behind you. 

“Hatter?” You call out. You hear some rustling before he emerges. The yelling and pacing was an understatement. He ran up to you, grabbing you at the shoulders.

“Rose, it’s a good thing you're here. You won’t believe-”

“Hatter! You're hurting me.” You wince in pain at the tight grip he has on your arms.

“Oh! O-oh, I-I’m sorry. It’s just that,” He lets out a small laugh, “well now I don’t even remember why I’m mad. I’m sorry.”

“It’s alright Hatter. I’m here to help.” You hold his face in your hands. You two sit on one of the benches and he leans his head onto yours.

“I really didn’t mean to.” You watch as his eyes turn from red and orange to a bluish green.

“It’s alright Hatter, I’m here to help you calm down, not ask for an apology.” You say, tangling your hand with his.

He goes on to tell you everything that was bothering him. You sit and listen, giving small words of encouragement. Not long after you went out for a tea party, everyone else joined you. Enjoying the rest of your day in wonderland.

Real talk, because I want to reach out to more of the fandom and I think it would be fun to hear others' ideas,

if there is ever going to be 3rd Alice movie, what would you want to see from it?

Personally, I'd want to see:

- More Underland interactions with the Overland (maybe a character or two finding a way to get there?).

- More Underland history and more explanations on the link between it and Overland!

- Smaller expansions or explanations on some side character's backstories (like Mally, Chessur, or the Tweedles! I want to know more about the Tweedles, dammit)!

- And, to be honest, if there isn't going to be more Hattice, I WILL be throwing the utmost of hands. (I WANT A KISS, MAYBE A DANCE, A CONFESSION, PERHAPS, I AM A SIMPLE WOMAN! I WANT FACE HOLDING AND SOFT HAPPY HATTICE FEELS!)

Also, not a necessary want or need, but I think it'd be interesting to see a take on a movie where Alice needs the support of her friends! The first movie had a small mix between the Underlandians reintroducing them to their world and teaching her how to be herself again and Alice saving them by taking on her role as champion and fulfilling the prophecy, but the second movie had her come back to face all odds against her to save the Hatter along with the entirety of Underland itself. She was the hero in both movies, and I think it would be interesting to see a story play out where she's saved by her friends in some way.

Anyway, those are mine, but I want to hear yours!

the main underland 6 playing video games:

mirana - refuses to harm what constitutes as living beings in games... for a while. even so she treats them kindly and plays pacifist routes the most. with zombie games, though, you can feel the 50 killstreak incoming

iracebeth - tryhard, but actually worked towards the skill level needed to warrant being a tryhard. looks at and makes strats. uses red cosmetics, and any game that has a red team, she does a beeline towards

tarrant - tests the limits of character creation and other such creative mechanics of games. probably contributed to community items, if the opportunity arises, and has a lot of unusual hats in tf2 despite the fact that he just installed the game

alice - tests the geographical limits of games, and manages to find environmental glitches where no-one else can spot. the fastest to 100% a game, aside from time himself. uses unconventional solutions to puzzles

stayne - collects wep skins. likes stealth games and roles, and is very good at them - though he always takes the opportunity to cheese particularly hard fights. likes grinding, gets accused of hacks sometimes

time - banned from competitive rhythm games. actual aimbot. any speedrun he does is debated to be tool assisted

These three are a fire, badass trio. You should see them walking together to help their parents.

In honor of Johnny’s birthday, I never get tired of watching this behind the scenes video of him transforming into Tarrant! I absolutely love all the work he put into him and how in sync he is with Tim with the design. Not to mention, everyone gushing about him and especially Anne’s describing what it was like working with him and how his accent changes as the Hatter.
