I don't do tarot readings a lot so I'm not well versed in them. I'd love 2 hear meanings 👀

okok obv tarot has been around a long time and everyone interprets them their own way but this is like. a general reading

so for tubbo's past the magician represents willpowers, self-empowerment, and creative passion which. i dont need to explain how that works thats a pretty accurate read. for present the ten of cups is supposed to mean a being in a time of happiness or having cause to celebrate. town of fobo maybe??? for future reversed queen of pentacles could mean being possessive or manipulative. it could also mean poverty since the upright queen of pentacles relates to wealth. its fobover?

for pac's past judgement is pretty much what it sounds like. it means consequences of the past, change, renewal, etc. makes sense for pac i would say (specifically here im thinking of consequences of the past relating to cell/cellbit and fuga impossível, but a lot of things could fit here). for present death also means pretty much exactly what it sounds like, representing ending an era, change, transformation, and serving as a reminder to work on moving on from unhealthy attachments. lots of change themes w pac in these cards lol. for future reversed six of swords means feeling trapped or overwhelmed, or feeling like youre making little to no progress. maybe a failure in the change from the earlier cards?

for fit's past reversed ten of pentacles can be summed up to holy shit my financial situation is a disaster. i mean. 2b2ts probably not the wealthiest of places. for present the king of wands is meant to be like. your classic hero. a big part of it is confidence in being a leader. idrk what to say here but it makes sense i think. for future the seven of wands it. the basic card design is literally somebody standing on a hill fighting off somebody below him. 3/12/24 followup stream enough said.

bagi's read is really interesting to me just cus i dont think ive ever done a read and gotten all one suit before??? anyways for past the five of swords suggests conflict and all the negative emotions typically associated with that. bagi and cellbits rocky relationship maybe ??? or conflict with the feds following empanadas death ??? for present the page of swords represents curiosity, alertness, and inspiration which makes sense with her being a detective and all. for future the reversed two of swords means arriving at a stalement and having difficulty choosing between things. bagi might be having some big decisions coming up shes not prepared for

Lovebrush Chronicles: Tarot Cards

So, me and a few others on the Lovebrush Chronicles Discord server were talking about tarot cards, and which ones would fit the main characters best. A huge thank you to the Lars and Clarence fans for spitballing ideas with me for them! Now, the alternate versions of the characters would have different tarots than their modern versions, so for the sake of this post, I'll be focusing on their modern versions, and the general ideas behind all of their alternate selves.

Ayn Alwyn: Death

UPRIGHT: end of cycle, beginnings, change, metamorphosis REVERSED: fear of change, holding on, stagnation, decay

There are three tarot cards that deal with the idea of change. The one I felt fit Ayn the most was the Death tarot. Ayn finds it hard to let go of his past - all versions of him. So, while Ayn is often forced into life changing situations, it's at a great expense. He has to let go of his past, his walls, and his routine to move on.

Alkaid McGrath: The Fool

UPRIGHT: beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, a free spirit REVERSED: holding back, recklessness, risk-taking

Alkaid also has one of the tarot cards representative of change: The Fool. While the other cards signify great difficulty or strife in achieving this change, The Fool tells of someone who willingly jumps head first into the unknown with an open mind. Alkaid yearns to see the world, and to push his limits, even at great risk.

Lars Rorschach: The Sun

UPRIGHT: joy, success, celebration, positivity REVERSED: negativity, depression, sadness

The Sun tarot is one of connecting with your inner child. It is one of optimism and positivity. Lars is a character who has worked long and hard to get where he's at. He's never had the chance to let loose and be himself until finding success. While he is a realist who is well aware of the bad in the world, he finds joy in the little things he never got to do in his youth.

Clarence Clayden: The Hierophant

UPRIGHT: tradition, conformity, morality, ethics REVERSED: rebellion, subversiveness, new approaches

The Hierophant represents an established set of rules and values. As a law student, Clarence seeks to use these established systems to one day make the world a better place. However, not all good can be achieved under these restrictions. Clarence is willing to go against the grain if he believes it is for a good cause.

Cael Anselm: The Moon

UPRIGHT: unconscious, illusions, intuition REVERSED: confusion, fear, repressed emotion

While The High Priestess is a card of spiritual enlightenment, The Moon is a card of emotional enlightenment. It is also a card of illusion. Cael is initially an incredibly deceptive character; he is not what he seems. Likewise, the same could be said for his emotions as he navigates his repressed feelings for the Little Painter.

Little Painter: The Hermit

UPRIGHT: contemplation, search for truth, inner guidance REVERSED: loneliness, isolation, lost your way

And finally, we get to our main character, the Little Painter. The Hermit indicates a search for answers; The Little Painter discovers a lot about herself and her past, as well as the nature of the universe and her role in it. She seeks the truth in each world, despite the loneliness her knowledge and position impose upon her.

They also don’t want to correct any problematic behaviors from their past or acknowledge any learned lessons. They’d rather act like they’re blind.

Your person is DELUSIONAL. They will focus on one area of their life at a time, neglecting the rest. They are a shitty multitasker. They really struggle with balancing work with love. Arguments with them about this would be unsuccessful, they would try to flip it on the head and start insisting that they do this all for YOU and your relationship and to provide you with a better life.

They’ll tend to take you for granted. They want you to follow their lead and whatever they want you to do, they expect to happen.

They’re the type of person to run from their issues and the type to desire and suggest a break from the relationship if there’s anything unsettling them. Like, they’d go ghost somehow, even to the extreme of fleeing the country if they thought it necessary.

Might unfairly compare you to an ex of theirs or someone from their past. Impossible standards. Temple of My Body makes me think that there might be some problems/insecurities in the 18+ area.

They aren’t as innocent as they portray themselves to be.

My Spooky Month OCs as Tarot Cards

Explanations:

TWO OF SWORDS - The Two of Swords is often related with balance and partnership. It signifies the need to keep your relationships balanced. The card also regularly contains imagery of a blind woman.

THE FOOL - The Fool represents new beginnings, having faith in the future, being inexperienced, not knowing what to expect, having beginner's luck, improvisation and believing in the universe. I mostly went with the fact that Jaxon is a "fool". His life also took a complete 180, which the card can also represent.

THE LOVERS - The Lovers represent relationships and choices. Its appearance in a spread indicates some decision about an existing relationship, a temptation of the heart, or a choice of potential partners. Obviously I chose Mars and Evermore for this card because they are very cute :)

THE TOWER - The Tower is commonly interpreted as meaning danger, crisis, destruction, and liberation. Noel is a chaotic piece of shit. You could also make the argument that a church is a "tower", which is where Noel resides.

THE MAGICIAN - When the Magician appears in a spread, it points to the talents, capabilities and resources at the querent's disposal to succeed. The message is to tap into one's full potential rather than holding back, especially when there is a need to transform something. Tuktuka's shapeshifting can be seen as magical, and I've also seen some sources saying the card can represent loneliness.

Yes!!! Thank you so much for the request -- they really are such a good pair ;-; (The thing is, I had so many nice scenes in mind about how they parallel each other, but they wouldn't know or reveal that about each other so I kept restarting...) Anyway, here's something right after Mikoto's first trial/verdict!

Mikoto could pick up on someone’s bad mood from a mile away, though the skill was unnecessary when the other party very clearly and calmly informed him, “I’m in a bad mood.”

After refusing his offer, Amane turned back to a thick textbook she’d been taking notes on. Didn’t kids usually complain that school was already a prison? She must have wanted the full experience. He'd worked nonstop at his studies as well, but this was a new level. Amane often reminded him of his little sister, though she always took the extra step like this. His sister would have jumped at this opportunity to play a few rounds of their favorite card game.

“It’ll be fun!”

He flashed a smile, but it had no effect on her severe expression. “I know you’re just trying to comfort me about our verdicts. I refuse to be pitied.”

“Comfort and pity are two very different things. But anyway, it wasn’t either of those things.” He gave an easy shrug “To be honest, I’m just a little bored. It’s weird not having any work to do during the day.”

Mikoto couldn’t remember the last time in his life he’d had so many hours to himself. A lot of the others were fun to play games with. A few of the sportier prisoners helped him stay active. He enjoyed smoking breaks with the other men. Still, he was left to his own devices for the majority of his time. It was maddening. He’d recently requested some more art supplies, having used up the last batch, but they had yet to come in. Now with the verdict announcement, he wasn’t sure they’d ever arrive.

“That is your own problem. I already have something to do.” Her eyes lingered on the cards for the briefest of moments before returning to the book. “I told you, I’m not in the mood for it.”

Regardless of her hostility, he took a seat beside her. He leaned his arms out on the table. “We don’t have to play the same game.” The last time they'd played as a big group, several prisoners pulling the tables together to fit everyone. Amane had kept very quiet, eyes darting around at the cards as she tried to keep up with the rules. Not many of the others noticed the frustration clear in her face. Mikoto wasn’t the type to let her win out of pity, though he had begun to mutter the rules and strategies to himself a bit more as the night went on…

“Is there a game you liked to play at home?”

“No. There was no time for games in the house.”

“All work and no play… hah… I know what that’s like.” He slumped his cheek onto his arm, lazily shuffling the cards around. He felt bad for bothering the girl if she truly was upset. He thought it was the bad experience that made her reject him, he hadn’t realized there were also family issues attached. Usually he could read people well; maybe he was losing his touch. He seemed to be losing touch with a lot of things, these days.

He readied a game of solitaire.

“Mikoto?” Amane kept her face turned away. “There was… one game.”

“Yeah?” Mikoto shuffled the cards back together. He slid them over to her. “You should teach me!”

She didn’t touch them. “You probably already know it.”

“Nah, I only know a few games. I’m better with tarot cards, though those aren’t really the gaming type. Come on, what is it?”

She told him the name of the game, insisting it wouldn’t be worth playing. She kept her attention on the textbook, but her eyes weren’t reading any of it.

“Ahh, I’ve heard of that one! We start with four cards, right?” He started dealing them out.

“No, five –” she pointed to the deck, urging him to add two more.

“Right, right.” He laughed lightly. “And the goal is to get pairs, and put them in a pile, uhh, here.”

Amane shook her head. She shifted her body slightly towards him. “You must be thinking of a different game. There’s actually three piles for pairs. One here, one here, and when it’s your opponent’s turn…”

Her eyes gleamed as she explained the rules. She pointed to various cards, telling him exact moves and point values. “And to win, you need to –” Her expression shifted. “You… you already knew all this.”

“Of course not!” He put on his most convincing smile.

She deflated. “You’re not a very good liar.”

“Tch, tell that to the warden.”

His shoulders sagged along with her. If Amane could see right through him, why was the rest of Milgram still coming up with stories about what he did and didn’t do? “Well, I might already know the rules, but it’s been a long time since I’ve played. You can still give me a hand. Plus, if you really are in such a bad mood, it’ll be good to take a break from your studies. You should always take a break when things get too overwhelming, yeah?”

She gave him a withering stare.

“Eh? What’s that face for?”

“Alright, let’s play. You can go first.”

“I mean it, what was that look? Aw, come on…”

Yes, No, Maybe?

A Pac that just gives you an answer that you are seeking. this pac will have nine different options. so you can ask it up to nine different questions. this will also go about answering it in three different ways. for money, love, general advice. so that way, we should all get something out of this. so, ask your question and choose your number. soooo lets talk about the overall message that I'm seeing here. the thing is, there is a time and a place for everything. and you're at that time and place for that particular thing to be happening. it's deep, intense and I feel like a lot of you might need to be alone during this.

I feel like for many of you this is involving mental health. a decision has to be made and you're stuck. overwhelmed, unsure of how things are going to turn out. tests? school? work? relationships? it seems like everything is on edge with you right now. maybe you fear that you just can't keep up with it all. maybe it's just that you don't think it's ever going to happen.

You're being asked right now to step back and get a good grip at the situation. some of you need to turn to those you trust. remember why you're on your path. be thankful for what you have now and remember what you're going towards. I think some of you, really just need to relax and give yourself to others right now. let others love you so you can finally rest.

General :: Yes. everything will go well. relax. turn to someone if you need to and let them shoulder some of the responsibility. have a snack. a nap.

Romantic:: Maybe. there's someone here who wants love and wants to be loved but someone else is too in their head right now. You are manifesting a relationship and you are manifesting communication. things will clear up. give it time.

Starting off with the general message here there seems to be a bit of confusion. you have to make a choice about something, or even worse, you have to let something go. some of you are feeling trapped in a situation and unfortunately, the only true answer to this is letting go.

You need to feel comfortable with yourself first. You need to make your choices based on what you want and what you need. no one else should come first. ... except maybe if you have a child. but you know what I mean. Your advice right now seems to be to do things that are normally done.

For example! if you're at a job and you need a pay raise, the original advice would be to simply talk to your boss. don't go looking for a new job because you may not find it or even worse, they may not give you what you need. stick to what you know works essentially. this isn't a good time to really branch out.

try conventional means. If you're stuck with someone, talk to them. learn how to converse in a way that doesn't trigger you or them. make sense? the explanations are written out. just stick to what actually works.

Sooo this whole reading tells me a story of someone who is just.. dealing with someone, romantically or not. this is someone who is manifesting something great in their lives. they're wondering where their turn is. it feels like you're building something so incredibly stable. disappointment in life has left you feeling a bit... tired. you have walls up. boundaries. you're focused on building your own future.

the advice to you is quite simple. stay open to people. stay open to new ideas and new adventures. by allowing yourself to dream big and achieve big, you'll see the world open up to you. in the wise words of lumiere, you must be bold! daring! the universe does not want you timid right now. you have everything you need.

Soooo, you are very tired. very hurt. it feels like no matter how much you keep trying, something is NOT going your way. it just feels like you're in the middle of a warzone. now this is interesting because I was getting this with two as well. but this just feels like defeat. wondering how much longer you have to go.

The advice, though simple, isn't that easy to impliment. the 09 of wands is your guide and so is that king of swords and wheel of fortune. you are quite literally, almost there. I know, I know, you're exhausted. things can't possibly get that much worse. you've learned a lot. you've matured.

But darling, your pain and anxiety is keeping you from seeing how close you truly are. life may have kicked your ass and dumped you in the trash but, it's for a reason. You are quite literally in your head now. and you need to hold on so tightly to those dreams you are almost giving up on.

You've lost hope, romance, everything. but I promise you, it is going to look up. you may not see it now, but after some rest you will. sometimes, you just need to start...all over.

General:: No. I hate to say this but I think you need to change the way you're seeing something. start completely from scratch. I know you fear failure. but I promise you you might be holding on to a sinking ship.

You have dreams, and you're holding on desperately too them. good. but don't be blind to the different paths you can take to get to where you need to be. you are the King of Swords after all. planning is your forte. if you're struggling, talk. that No, will then turn to a yes.

Romantic :: Not yet. I think you're still holding on to past pain. You dream of love, will now put that love into yourself. and heal what has been dealt to you otherwise the next person will do the same thing.

Sooo I think you guys have to leave something. this feels like an ending to a chapter really. it's not as devastating as some of these others have been. I think you've come to accept that a door is closing and a new one is opening.

The only thing that is really bugging me is the last two oracle cards. Why? and Not For You. I almost wonder if you have doubts about why the first plan didn't work. or why this is happening. or why someone just can't be honest, etc etc. but it's not meant for you so why are you hanging on?

I think some of you have yet to see that 04 of wands, 09 of Pentacles. I think with that Ace of Swords, that new idea or opportunity just hasn't yet presented itself. so I think it's really up to you to see the light where there seems to be none.

I know the story of the 10 of wands is a bit rough. it's a lot of hard work and that 06 of swords almost feels like you have to give up. but the advice here is simple. a new life is coming for you, but you must be willing to accept it.

Why are you moving on but still clinging to the past? are you afraid that the new cycle is going to hurt? are you afraid of what lies ahead? there's nothing here but love and community. stability and independence wait for you. and it's scary because it's going to work out in your favor.
