I MEAN BESIDES WHAT'S CANON IN THE MOVIE NOT REALLY TO BE HONEST?? But I can give you Tankdad headcanons!!

- John and Steve found Pico in rubble in their early 20s, I’m thinking 20-21.

- Pico was found during a supply expedition, where he was crying in the midst of dead bodies and rubble. The body of a woman covered in gunshot wounds was shielding him, originally thought to be Pico’s mom, but was later proven to have no relation.

- John initially took the role of “father” as a joke because he thought Pico’s parents would want him back. Turns out they’re no where to be found.

- Meanwhile, Steve was happier to take care of Pico, as he reminds him of his (headcanon) sister when she was a baby.

- John and Pico regularly give Pico to the other Tankmen to babysit for them and that’s how the Tankfamily was formed!!

- Bill, before he died, loved Pico like his own son.

- John gradually gets more willing to take care of Pico and eventually realizes that he wants to give him a better life and be his Dad.

- Pico nicknames: Tater Tot (John), Little Onion (Steve), Pogo (Bill), Bastard (Ted), Dicksmasher69 (You <3)

- The Tankmen work at Home Depot post-war this is canon HEHE

Ill is a seven year old boy who is the son of Bill and his significant other. An energetic young lad with lots of potential.. and a whole load of pressure on him to be the soldier his father was unable to be.
