Within the societal structure of Robot City, there exists a social class referred to as Outmodes. Outmodes are robots whose parts are no longer being manufactured and, due to their economic status, cannot afford to purchase the newer, upgraded ones on the market. The fate of all outmodes is to be sweeped up, smelted down, and repurposed, when their old, broken bodies eventually fall apart. The Rusties are a ragtag group of outmodes living out of a boarding house. With the assistance of Rodney’s inventive prowess, they begin repairing other outmodes themselves. The film culminates in them fighting/defeating the evil robots responsible for the despicable treatment of outmodes.

Meet the Robinsons Headcanons - Fritz, Laszlo, and Tallulah (Mostly Laszlo)

Laszlo and Goob are a couple after the events of the movie.

Fritz, Tallulah, and Laszlo didn't move into the house until a couple years ago (Maybe 3 or 4 years).

He's not as talkative as the rest of the family (which helps explain why he only has 4 lines in the movie). The more comfortable around you he is, the more chatty he becomes. he blabbers on a lot about stuff with Goob.

He has a good relationship with Tallulah as an adult, but as a teen he was jealous of the fact she had so many friends and he didn't.

He's pretty close with Wilbur compared to other people in the family, despite the age difference. Also spends a good amount of time with Gaston, but that's not always by choice.

He used to be embarrassed about the fact he was gay, and would try to convince people he was straight since the area he was from had a lot of homophobia. His first and only kiss before Goob was with a girl, and he didn't like it, so he gave up on anything to do with relationships for a long time. He only started to become comfortable with the idea again when he moved into the Robinson household. He's pretty comfortable with his sexuality now.

He hit puberty later than other kids. It's why his voice is a bit high, and why he's short. He's 32, but people often think he's in his early to mid 20s.

His goggles double as glasses. Cornelius made them for him after he noticed Laszlo refused to wear his prescription, and kept flying into walls and stuff in the house. He didn't like how they made him look. They look like this

Cornelius is also the one who made his paint gun. They worked together on the propeller helmet, though.

As to be expected from an artist, he tends to paint and sketch out his feelings. He shows off the paintings he makes when happy or content, but keeps others in his personal collection and doesn't show them. Lots of dark edgy paintings when he was a teen/young adult.

His hair doesn't like to cooperate with him, which is why he has his cowlick. He tried to brush it back many times but it would just spring right back up, so eventually he gave up.

He used to be really insecure about his freckles and his underbite.

The reason Tallulah sounds the way she does is because she had surgery on her thyroid in middle school, and the surgeon accidentally damaged her vocal cords in the process. Fritz sued him for damages and won. It took a while for people to get used to her new voice, but she loves to tell people the story about it because she thinks it's neat.

Laszlo and Tallulah are fraternal twins. Genetically, the chance of having two children born at separate times with red hair and blue eyes are low if one of the parents has brown hair and brown eyes. Red hair and blue eyes are recessive, brown hair and brown eyes are dominant.

His favorite band is Oingo Boingo.

After high school he decided to go to college for a degree in fine arts. However, he noticed that by doing so he was losing his motivation to create any art of his own anymore. It was stressing him out a lot, so he decided to drop out and ended up working at a local art store as a cashier instead. He did this for a few years until they decided to move in with the rest of the family.

He has a really bad sweet tooth and hides snack cakes in his room. He doesn't share them with anyone but Goob, though. Generally can put down a ton of food if he's hungry enough, but he always ends up regretting it.

Chapter 6: Animal House (Part 2)

Saturday, May 2nd, 2037 - 1:20 PM

You had to admit, even as a billy goat and a sheep, Grandpa Bud and Grandma Lucille could still tear up the rug with their moves! Bud laughed (more of a bleat, really) and clicked his hooves, still wearing a backwards bowtie and large glasses, bouncing on his snout as he danced with his wife.

Wilbur would almost laugh if he wasn’t so preoccupied with trying to catch Aunt Billie. He had no idea otters were so slippery! Every time he thought he had her, she’d slip out of his grasp with her silky coat and a chittering laugh. It was in Billie’s competitive nature. She loved a good old fashioned game of cat and mouse! Neither of them were a cat nor mouse, but her point stood.

Carl’s net fell on her and she let out a surprised squeak. The robot carefully picked her up and rushed her to the closet with Petunia, who had been squawking angrily and pecking at the door since she was put in there.

A pair of red foxes scrambled around Wilbur and Carl, yipping at one another. Wilbur honestly had no clue if his cousins Laszlo and Tallulah were playing or arguing, much less if they could understand one another. Carl and Wilbur dove for the two, but Wilbur’s shoe caught onto something and he ended up tumbling into Carl. Laszlo, with his goggles hanging around his neck, yipped playfully while Tallulah chased after him.

Wilbur cursed quietly. He forgot something foxes and Robinsons had in common… They were both clever.

He glanced down only to find his Uncle Fritz, now a turtle, stuck on his back after being tripped over. He waggled around but couldn’t seem to get his footing. “Oh! Sorry about that.” Wilbur gently scooped up the turtle and carried him to the closet. “Just until I can get you guys back to normal, okay?”

Breaking glass and tumbling furniture preceded the reappearance of Uncle Art, stomping through the house like a bull in a china shop. Only this time, he was carrying a wild coyote Uncle Gaston on his shoulders, the stuntman hooting and howling with joy.

Meanwhile…

Cornelius rushed up the stairs of the observatory, searching for his key. It was oddly quiet… No prompting to ring doorbells? Glancing down, Cornelius rose a brow when in place of Spike and Dimitri, there were two little moles looking back at him from their flowerpots.

He quickly grabbed his key and threw the doors open, just in time for a large bull to skid to a stop inches from him and a coyote to flip off its shoulders and land into Cornelius’s arms.

It barked at him and he dropped it.

“What the hell is going on?”

Admittedly most of the time they are kind of assholes to each other especially early on (except for Charles) ,but they do love each other deep down and get a bit more caring towards each other as time goes on, there is quite literally an entire special dedicated to the found family factor. Like Doomstar Requiem drinking game: take a shot every time they say “brother”, you will be dead and it will brutal!

For angst headcanons, since Tallulah has her mother’s sass, I feel like Laszlo has his father’s anxiety. It’s not a constant like Fritz has, but more of an episodic kind of anxiety.

Nah but seriously, that's interesting to think about. We barely get any screen time with Tallulah and Laszlo in the movie, so really fanon is all we have for them. Everyday I wish the second movie wasn't cancelled...

Laszlo is an artist, so it makes sense he'd have some kind of anxiety. Final thoughts!
