Drunken Astrology Rants/Opinions with Xenia

Hey guyss, so I’m drunk off red wine rn instead of studying for finals which pretty much sums up my Cancer Sun-Aries moon nature. However, I’m still sober enough to type so I’m gonna just talk about my opinions and rants on astrology. Remember, these are just opinions.

🍷 Moon square moon synastry is REALLY hard to overcome. I’m sorry, but every couple I’ve seen with this aspect are always fighting, to the point where it becomes toxic. I think it’s because our moon placement is really our core-being. It’s our emotions and our reactions to stuff. I feel like when two people clash on this intimate level it makes it really hard for a relationship to go smoothly. I’m sure it works for some people, but with my experience and what I’ve observed, it’s toxic as fuck.

🍷 Mars Square Pluto natives...y’all are hot as fuck but you scare me. Every single person I’ve been attracted to without really knowing why, they have a Mars Square Pluto placement. Even with people I’m not attracted to who have this placement, I’m always drawn to them. There’s this dark intensity to them, it’s kind of like a Lilith/Pluto energy, but less intense. A lot of y’all got anger issues, but you’re still hot.

🍷Cancer suns can be so confusing to spot. I feel like Cancer suns are either super shy and introverted, or really outgoing and vivacious. I cannot pin them down for the life of me, as a Cancer. Even then, these sides of them can vary depending on the situation they’re in. I feel like every time I see a Cancer I always think they’re a Leo/Aries or a Pisces. Very confusing. I think it’s because some Cancers have Gemini placements, and that can make them more outgoing, as well as potential fire/air placements in the big three. Still though. I feel like I can spot other zodiac signs easily, even with other dominant planet energy. Cancers, not so much. They’re a kaleidoscope.

🍷 Whoever said Libra suns are pushovers and peacemakers, are deadass wrong. Every Libra sun I know wakes up everyday and chooses violence. They do not give a fuck. I don’t know where this idea of balance came from, they’re super chaotic. They also don’t take anyone’s shit. They will cut your ass if you try to do them dirty. They are extremely charming though, that one will always remain true. Like they’ll curse you out and you’ll still be like huh, I still wanna be their friend.

🍷 Scorpio Risings and Lilith in the 1st natives are always dealing with stalkers or weirdos. I feel so bad for them. Two of my friends have these and they’re always dealing with gross guys hitting on them and not taking no for an answer. There’s just something super intriguing about them, like you can always spot them by looking into their eyes. They just have the bedroom eyes, even when they don’t mean to give them. They do have the worst death stares though...yikes.

🍷 Lilith in the 2nd is so slept on.They're also really hot as well. Like Ariana Grande, Megan Fox, and Marilyn Monroe all have this placement. Everyone says oh Lilith in the 1st is hot, yes they are, but so is Lilith in the 2nd. It also gives natives a really nice voice, and nice lips. Lilith in the 1st is raw sexuality, and Lilith in the 2nd is soft sexuality. Also people are always commenting on Lilith in the 2nd people’s bodies. Please, stop it.

🍷Aries suns and Capricorn suns have more in common than you think. I feel like I always mix the two up; it’s probably the fact that they’re both cardinal signs. I don’t know where people get the idea that Capricorn suns are rational and unemotional all the time. Capricorns can be super ruthless when it comes to achieving their goals and they’re extremely ambitious. Aries suns are the same way. They have the same ambition and same drive.

🍷Capricorn mercuries have the nicest voices imo. Yes water mercuries and Taurus mercuries have nice voices, but Capricorn mercuries are so slept on. They have these really deep and calming voices. A lot of people say that there’s an authoritative kind of tone to it, but I kind of feel that they speak with confidence and it’s calming in a way. Like when they tell you you’re gonna be okay, you’re gonna believe it.

🍷Everyone says fire Mars have anger issues and can be scary, okay they can be. However, I think people underestimate air Mars. Everyone thinks air Mars are just chill and avoid conflict. Initially they might, but if you push them enough? Nah. They’re vicious as fuck. Libra Mars gets the reputation of being a pushover, but they can be super aggressive if pushed hard enough. Gemini Mars are scary because they’re just straight up unpredictable. When you piss a Gemini Mars off, you could get their calmer anger where they just talk shit about you to one of their friends or the kind where they just completely go off on you. Aquarius Mars? Aquarius is a fixed sign, they’re stubborn as fuck, and so are Aquarius Mars. They also have the same unpredictability of Gemini, except you never know when they’re pissed off and they kind of just blow up on you out of nowhere. Air Mars are def underestimated, they’ll fuck you up.

🍷Whole signs astrology is accurate as fuck. I relate to both my Placidus chart and my whole signs chart. I feel like I can embody a 7th house stellium personality and an 8th house stellium personality. I tend to see that with other people I know as well, I see them embodying both Placidus placements and whole signs placements. 🍷Cancer moons I just can’t vibe with, and I’m a Cancer sun. Maybe it’s because I’m an Aries moon, but for the life of me I cannot get along with Cancer moons. I always find myself arguing with them and they get crabby with me if I don’t things a certain way. Also their anger lowkey scares me, and that’s coming from an Aries moon. I’ll make a joke that rubs them the wrong way and they’ll tell me that’s why my grandma died. Hopefully I’ll meet some Cancer moons one day that I can vibe with, but I don’t know man.

🍷8th house synastry is so fucking intense, but I always find myself looking for it...rip. I had 8th house synastry with this girl I had a crush on, and everyone could sense the tension LMFAO. 8th house synastry you cannot run from, the only other synastry that’s scarier than that is 12th house synastry. 8th house synastry is not for the weak, it’s been years and I still think about her.

🍷Speaking of 8th house synastry, I feel like prominent Pluto energy (also 8th house placements, Scorpio placements) tend to chase after 8th house synastry type relationships. They want that intense and passionate burning love. They want the twin flame kind of connection, and things like 6th house synastry just aren’t gonna cut it for them. It’s exciting for them, and unfortunately this can result in a lot of heartbreaks before they find the right one.

🍷I notice that Sagittarius Venuses are either extremely loyal or tend to have a wandering eye. There’s really no in between tbh. I tend to notice that women Sag Venuses are the ones who tend to be extremely loyal whereas the men...not so much. When Sag Venuses are loyal though...they love so fucking hard, like they will love you till the end of time. Even the ones who have a wandering eye, they will love you so hard, and I think that’s what makes them so hard to resist... Literally Jake Gyllenhaal has this placement and I think All Too Well sums up how fast love moves with a Sag Venus.

🍷When it comes to asteroids, I personally don’t take minor aspects into account, i.e. biquintiles, semi-sextile, etc. Asteroids are small bodies, and in order to make a big influence in your chart they need to have conjunctions, aspects to personal planets, aspects to the AC, IC, DC, MC, in the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house, or aspects to the chart ruler. Personally, the more the better. However, that’s just my opinion.

🍷I love air Mercuries, but they tire me the fuck out. I’ll be talking to them, and they just keep going, and going and going and going...and I’m just like 😀. After I hang out with them for a long period of time, my jaw hurts from talking too much and I’m mentally exhausted from pondering the ins and outs of life. The only air mercury I don’t have this with are Libra Mercuries. That’s about it. I don’t know how air mercuries can talk for such long periods of time...it’ll always be a mystery to my Cancer Mercury self. Love y’all tho.

🍷Taurus Venuses are definitely the most romantic Venus placement. They love hardcore romance and shit. I thought I was romantic, but Taurus Venuses give me a run for my money.

🍷I feel like an Aries sun placement on its own isn’t enough to give someone anger problems. I think Aries moons tend to have more of the anger issues. My friend is an Aries sun and he’s extremely calm and never blows up on people. Me on the other hand...yikes. I feel like Aries moons, Aries Mercuries, and Mars tend to be more of the likely Aries placements to blow up. However, if an Aries sun is placed with another fire placement then they could definitely have anger issues LMAO.

🍷Leo suns are either a hit or miss. I’m sorry, but it’s true. Every Leo I’ve met has either been the greatest person I’ve ever met in my life or the absolute fucking worst. I personally love Leos, 90% of the ones I’ve met are lovely and one of my best friends is a Leo. They’re my second fav sign, but when they’re bad, THEY’RE BAD.

🍷Aquarius suns and Capricorn suns are so hot. I don’t know what it is, but I think I just crave the stability and non-emotionalness (that’s not a word I know) because I’m just so emotional LMAO. They’re kind of unattainable in a way, they rarely show their vulnerable side, and my Cancer stellium is like LEMME FIX YOU. Anyway yeah, 90% of my crushes have been Aquariuses and Capricorns. What can I say, love that Saturn energy.

🍷I feel like I vibe very easily with water and earth sun signs, but I tend to grow the closest with air and fire signs. It’s weird. LMAO.

🍷Look, astrology can’t determine something as complicated as sexuality, but I have noticed that Venus-Neptune Aspects, Mars-Neptune Aspects, Venus-Uranus Aspects, Mars-Uranus Aspects tend to be found in LGBT+ charts. Obviously not everyone who has it will be LGBT+ but I have noticed it. (I’m queer and I have both Venus-Neptune and Mars-Neptune aspects.

🍷Quincunxes (inconjunctions) should be considered a major aspect imo. They’re sometimes considered as one, other times they’re more of a medium aspect. I think they should be apart of the major ones.

🍷Virgo placements are shit on way too much, and there is no room for Virgo slander on this blog. Virgo placements are the most giving people I’ve ever met in my life. Most Virgo placements I know do charity work. They can be a little critical, but it’s only because they want the best for you. They're also super honest too, and I know that my Virgo best friend will always tell me the truth, and I respect that a lot about them.

🍷In my opinion with generational planets in the first house, certain traits they have should be taken with a grain of salt. For example, a lot of Sag risings born around 2000 have Pluto in the 1st. Obviously, not everyone with this placement is gonna be brooding or have an intensity to them. Also in synastry too, don’t pay too much attention to things like Pluto conjunct Pluto, Aquarius aspecting Pluto, etc. Most people born around the same time as you who you do synastry with, you’re gonna have those aspects with them. Focus on other stuff.

🍷Scorpio moons and Aries moons are so fucking similar. I swear, every Scorpio moon I’ve ever met has been like my twin. I think it’s because Scorpio and Aries are both ruled by Mars (in Western Astrology). Scorpio placements in general are just the fire signs of the water signs, if that makes sense. Scorpio and Aries moons definitely get along well, despite being fire and water signs. They both have the same drive and intensity, and they understand the deep emotions of each other. They’re also both chaotic LMAO.

🍷Pisces placements (big three) are very intriguing, at least in my opinion. They’re very soft and mysterious. You look at them and you want to save them. Think of Billie Eilish, there’s a mystery to them. They're like a day dream, but a dark one. They’re a softer version of Scorpio imo. Pisces placements are very slept on for sex appeal. They’re soft but hot at the same time LMAO.

🍷Mercury in Leo is such an underrated humor placement. Every Mercury in Leo person I’ve ever met has been so fucking funny. They just say the most outlandish things and they kind of “perform” with their humor. Which makes sense, Leo rules the 5th house. Everyone says Sagittarius and Gemini placements are funny (they are) but Leo Mercury is also hilarious.

🍷No one talks about how neighboring signs are compatible. Almost every married couple I know has placements that are neighboring, i.e. Capricorn sun and Aquarius sun. Remember our Mercury and Venus placements are only a few signs at most away from our sun sign (if not the sun sign itself) so it’s likely that neighboring sun signs can share the same Venus or Mercury placements which are extremely good for compatibility. I’ve just noticed that neighboring placements tend to be common in married couples.

🍷Taurus placements really don’t like to show emotions. Air signs and Capricorns get shit on for not showing emotions, but I think Taurus placements can be overlooked in this respect. Taurus placements I feel just want to be strong all the time and don’t want to get involved with emotions because they’re messy. I feel like they tend to ignore the emotions and kind of disregard them, and not see them as important.

🍷I love Aries suns with Taurus placements, but I tend to hate Taurus suns with Aries placements. I don’t know why this is, but it always tends to be the case. The Tauruses I’ve hated, have had like an Aries stellium or prominent Aries placements. Whereas with Aries suns I tend to be close with the ones who have Taurus or Pisces placements. I think it’s because Aries suns are calmed down by Taurus placements but Taurus suns are already so fucking stubborn and then you add the dynamic energy of Aries and it gives them anger issues LMAO. Oh well we’ll see what happens.

🍷Red flags in synastry are important to look at. Some say it’s fear-mongering, but I don’t think it is. While these aspects can be worked around, it’s good to be knowledgable of potential problems and with the knowledge of them you can prepare yourself to work through them. It also gives you insight into the relationship as well.

🍷12th house stelliums, 7th house stelliums, and 8th house stelliums are my fave stelliums in people. 12th house stelliums are alluring and mysterious. 7th house stelliums are super friendly and understanding. 8th house stelliums are deep and understanding.

~RANDOM ASTROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS~

*please note that i don’t view these generalizations as a catch-all or judge someone based solely on their natal chart. these observations are just from what i’ve seen and i am writing this post for fun and also to educate those who are interested in astrology! thank you xx*

-air signs (gemini, libra, aquarius): the men are usually a bit more on the feminine side, energy-wise, and the women are a little more masculine in essence.

-any positive mars-pluto aspect (conjunction, trine, sextile) (or simply having mars in scorpio) is extremely attractive and sexually magnetic.

-i’ve noticed that people with their moon in pisces tend to be easily morphed, used, strung along, and manipulated by others. this is because they are inherently trusting and in many cases lack a strong sense of self. they want a steady outlet for their overwhelmingly strong emotions, and subconsciously they look for something to identify with...even if it’s toxic.

-any prominent aquarius placement can cause the person to seem intriguingly detached and elusive, which some astrologers call “distant glamour”. this aquarian energy is very cerebral, and is most comfortable with mental pursuits as opposed to emotional ones. i’ve also noticed that people with prominent aquarius energy attract very emotional people, and this disconnect fuels attraction and tension. but, in the end, oftentimes aquarians end up breaking lots of hearts without meaning to due to this detached, analytical, and magnetically distant nature.

-fire rising signs (aries, leo, sagittarius) are, in my opinion, the most attractive (especially aries rising).

-prominent lilith placements (aspecting inner planets, sun, ascendant or midheaven) are known to create dark, hypnotic sexual appeal, but from what i’ve seen, that’s not all it does: women with lots of lilith energy/aspects are often hated by other women and viewed as a threat of some sort. often, even if she is sweet and well-meaning inside, a lilithian woman very often comes off as disruptive and illicits negative reactions from people. this pattern combined with her startling sexual appeal sends her mixed messages about her self-worth, and as a result she often feels confused and pained inside.

-libra men are devastatingly captivating, due to their effortless charm and their ability to relate to women on what could be referred to as a “feminine level”. these men are chill and “lowkey”. they don’t mean to make a spectacle of themselves; they just naturally radiate magnetism, resulting in receiving lots of attention. this combined with the libran love of praise and compliments may evolve into a problem for the libra man: he must learn to be aware of his effect on others and use it carefully, rather than basking in the attention...even if it means he doesn’t have as much rambunctious fun in the end.

-when i’ve been attracted to girls, they almost always are capricorns with moons in scorpio! it’s something about the closed-off yet feminine energy of capricorn, which makes you want to naturally learn more about them. this is heightened when you can sense the intensity and, perhaps sensuality, (provided by the scorpio moon) lurking beneath their somewhat cold exterior. it is endlessly fascinating to talk to and get to know these women; they seem too magical to be a real, mundane human. as a result, they attract restless types looking for a new code to crack.

-any adverse mars-pluto or mars-saturn aspect (square, opposition) can, to put it simply, make someone shockingly mean when angered, or just in general. the sheer force and passion of mars combined with the destructive intensity of pluto can cloud someone’s judgement and prompt them to commit life-altering decisions in the heat of the moment without considering the future consequences. on the other hand, the previously mentioned sheer force and passion of mars in friction with saturn’s restrictive, cynical and disciplinarian energy can make the native excessively cold and prone to giving the “silent treatment”...and as a parent, can be overly strict and firm with punishments and rules.

-venus in libra tends to be more interested in the idea of romance than sex. they are turned on by gentle caresses, candlelight dinners and beautiful settings as opposed to the more primal side of the spectrum. if not given proper anticipation or trust within their partner, venuisan-librans can even be repulsed by the mechanics of sex.

-prominent chiron placements can give a great sense of self-deprecating, cynical humor to the native. think of the modern “gen z” and “millenial” types on social media: outlandish, ironically over-sharing, and shamelessly relatable. this is because chiron is “the wounded healer”, using its own pain to bestow healing and/or positivity onto others who share their struggles.

-geminis get a bad reputation and are hated among astrological hoes (due to their two-faced nature and witty insults) but hear me out: geminis are some of the most self-aware people i have ever met, due to their natural ability to read social situations and gouge other peoples’ under-the-radar reactions to them. they often struggle with their own self-image and wonder how to project it outwards into the world because they overthink so much of the time. their brains are so quick, moving a mile a minute, due to their sheer intelligence that often screws them over in the end. when you truly get to know a gemini, you’ll find that most times, they genuinely care about others, and they’ll use their detail-oriented nature to subtly make you happy in more ways than you could’ve imagined!

-sun in the 5th house can make someone restless and feel generally bored and perhaps unsatisfied. this is because the 5th house rules pleasure, creativity, adventure, social life, art, partying...you know, all that good stuff. the sun represents “you” (your overall identity), so if your sun is in the 5th house, chances are you live to have fun. you don’t feel stimulated and fulfilled unless you have constant novelty flitting around you, and as a result, everyday life can feel slow and humdrum. this placement combined with prominent cancer placements creates conflicting needs for routine and security but also fun, variety, and consistent change. yikes.

-mercury in virgo, especially in men, comes across as charmingly anxious. when talking to a mercurian-virgo, you may often feel like you have the upper hand in the conversation, denoting a playful energy to the dynamic. these people are easy to become attracted to, as they feed the egos of those who like to be dominant and in control.

*a note: planetary placements are usually thought to just represent parts of oneself, but can also be viewed differently: planetary placements can also represent prominent figures in your life. for example, i just discussed adverse mars-saturn aspects. saturn is known to be a “father figure” in astrology, so perhaps someone with a difficult mars-saturn placement deals with rage and friction between them and their father. you can apply this to other placements as well! (mother placements include the moon and sometimes venus. father placements include saturn and sometimes mars. lover placements include venus {feminine} and mars {masculine}. mercury placements can reveal lots about a person’s children.) remember, astrology is highly subjective and should be used as a tool for insight. you are not doomed to your placements! you just have to make the best of the traits that come naturally to you and the situations you are prone to landing in. you can ask me questions and i’ll try my best to answer them!*

I’ve mentioned it before a few times on here but strong mercury influence in that natal chart is often found in rappers. We have to remember Mercury rules the lower mind, how we speak and communicate. It bestows on the native the “gift-of-gab” so when one has strong Mercurial influence, especially in benefic aspect one can have a way with words. This includes poetry, conciseness, and wit. A “bar” is basically a grouping of words that include all of the former. Mercury, when in harmonious aspect also gives one good rhythm, Something one needs if they’re to follow a beat well. They need to be able to go with the flow and hit every pause, break, and hook on a good beat, A good example of this would be Compton native Kendrick Lamar, whose Sun is in Gemini. Songs Like Rigarmortis, The Jig Is Up, M.A.A.D City and She Needs Me demonstrated that he has full control over his lung capacity and eloquence spitting each and every line. Christopher Wallace A.K.A the Notorious B.IG who hails from my hometown also has Mercury ruling over his Sun and he is considered one of the best rappers alive. His best friend turned Rival Tupac Shakur was also blessed by quick Silver. To this day, his metaphors resonate in songs like Changes, Hail Mary, and Hit ‘Em Up. G Eazy is another who cannot get through one song without mentioning he’s a twin. Chris Brown is a crooner but if you’ve ever heard “Holla at Me” you’ll see the kid actually has bars. Azealia Banks, another Gemini [and rather under-developed] despite her problematic tendencies has quite a talent with words. Her song 212 is indicative of this. The Late Lisa Lef-Eye Lopes, Lauryn Hill, Naughty by Nature [all Virgo’s save for one], Ice Cube, and last but not least, one of the most polarizing people on the planet, Kanye West has his Sun and Jupiter sitting in all that airy energy. Despite his tendencies, we cannot discount his consistent hits since 2003. The man even found a way to spit verses with his mouth wired shut in “Through The Wire”. I believe the most developed influence of Mercury was presented to the world when he delivered us his Magnum Opus My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Why? Let's be frank, Rap is not a soft art. Many involved in the trade have come for very war-like backgrounds. It takes a tough individual to make their way through the game. Jeffrey Epstein is the man of the day. Of course, this is not in a good way. I have to be honest. I think he is so handsome and so sexy. I have never seen him speak or move but there is something about him that is very charismatic.

Let’s see what kind of person he is. First of all, I choose a Sagittarius Ascendant because he looks like a Sagittarius Ascendant to me. We have no time of birth, so this is a guess. So, one cannot rely on the houses, but one can rely on the aspects. Planet wise, the moon may change it’s degree to within six degrees either way.

Let’s see what we have here. According to my estimated time of birth, we have Venus conjunct the Ascendant.He is very handsome, so I may, possible, be correct in my choice of birth time. A Venus conjunct the Ascendant person is very attractive. That person is, also, very charming.

OH MY—-Moon in Scorpio fits like a hand in a glove. Moon in Scorpio is very intense. very sexual and very secretive. If we move the Moon 6 degrees in one direction, it becomes a Sagittarius Moon, which does not seem to fit him. In order to do his nefarious deeds, he would need a hidden, secretive kind of moon. That baby is Scorpio and really, only, Scorpio. My choice of time puts the moon in the 12th house, which would magnify his level of secrecy greatly. However, a 12th House Moon may be shyer than he is. It takes a lot of cajones to lure women to your house on the pretext of wanting a massage, so his moon may be in another more “open” house, such as the 11th house.

Now, for what hits me squarely in the face—a combust of Mercury and the Sun—–YIKES. Many of my articles talk about this aspect and how it makes the native unable to see life from the perspective of another. I have seem these natives make dumb, dumb dumb decisions. They are very smart intellectually, but can be VERY emotionally retarded in terms of making very poor life decisions. I know people will get angry when I say this, but I am always honest with you.

Mars in Leo fits. He is very pretty.He is very stylish. He dresses with flair. He surrounds himself with beautiful women, which is classic for Venus in Leo. From the women I have seen with him, they are very attractive—no duds in the bunch.

Oh My—-His Sun combust Mercury is exactly opposite his North Node. Mercury, the Sun and the North Node degrees are at the 29th degree, which is the “frozen” degree. I have several articles on this. The 29th degree makes for constipation. Forgive the bathroom reference, but it is a good one for someone who is stuck. It is a terrible feeling to feel stuck as if you are up, perpetually, against a closed door with no escape. This is the sense of the 29th degree. I have never seen a Sun/Mercury combust with this degree. This dude was given many challenges and we have not even done asteroids.

He is low in air, so his Mercury/Sun combust becomes nuclear level bad. I am just being honest here. This guy feels very plugged up in terms of self expression. If we add the intensity, depth and weirdness of the Scorpio Moon, we can see how he may have gotten into this terrible situation. I am not excusing him for all you righteous Nazis. I am just saying that this dude does seem headed for problems.
