          “Schwester, I would have counsel--”  Agron ducks into the tent he knows to be Saxa’s with typical brotherly disregard for personal space. One would think he’d learn after near trauma of interrupting his adoptive sibling in compromising positions (it doesn’t matter with whom, it’s nothing Agron wants to ever see, Gratitude).

          “There is a trader.” The Germani continues, oblivious, “He speaks our tongue, but refuses to break words with Me. Or...” And here Agron grimaces, “Or any man. I do not trust him, but he will only make trade with a woman.” 

         The fact they need the resources goes unsaid. He knows that Saxa knows this, and that she is entirely capable of holding her own in negotiation.

head jerks up when sandor hears a voice —  in his frustration, he hadn’t heard her approach. unfamiliar face — but not entirely foreign. she’s noble, though anyone who’s been around nobility long enough can always distinguish. noble and ……? well that’s about all he’s got. doesn’t know what business she has with him and is too fed up with the bandages to care. 

“  bugger that,  ”  he says, looking back down.  “  made it this far on my own.  ”  he continues his effort, trying to tuck the cloth this time, thinking enough folds would hold it steady —  and thinking wrong. a nail in that coffin —  sandor decides, begrudgingly, to cut his losses. he holds his hand out to her with a gruff sigh, eyes still averted. “  get on with it.  ”

         his arm is thrown out across her back,  pushing her further into the wall. thousands of gallons of water plummet down to a plunge pool; the mist and rush of air can be felt from where they are, and will only intensify when they make their way behind the falls. layla’s shaking fingers are numb from the chill but she’s keeping as tight a grip on the wall as she can. he’s risked his life to come get her, she’s not going to have that be in vain - they’re both going to make it out of here. she waits until he releases the pressure and gives her a nod, signaling that their pursuers have moved on, no longer peering over the edge with discerning eyes, searching for them.

Another artwork I planned out a decade ago but never got done until now, since back then, (in 2006 to be precisely) I didn't feel good enough to get it done right. I'm beside myself with joy, cuz 14 years ago I couldn't believe that I'd ever be able to draw this picture in my mind! It is weird that #bonkersdbobcat is my all time fave toon and I felt like I couldn't draw him well. So, who are the other two bobcats? Well, they have cameos in the shorts "Goldijitters and the 3 Bobcats" and "Petal to the Metal" Also Bonkers mentioned throughout the series, he appeared in "3 bobcats on the Ponderosa" and "The 3 Bobcateers" So here are the Bobcateers. I loved Bonkers and I loved #dogtanion as a kid.
