Tales of Horror #7 (October, 1953). Cover by Howard Rosenberger.
The Beast From the Deep was a short, uncredited adaptation of Ray Bradbury's story The Foghorn. That story was the basis for the film The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, which was released to theaters a month before this comic hit the stands in July, 1953.

One of my favourite genres of Tumblr post is people RPing as fairy tale creatures who hate their jobs. Like, you'd assume the Bone-Thief of the Dark Forest at least enjoys taking people's bones, but no, apparently they get paid to do this. In what currency does a bone-stealing phantom of the deep woods get paid? What do they spend it on?

Been sick this whole week and wanted to draw something, so I drew HorrorDust real quick (no idea what the ship name is).
Still don't fully know how I want to draw them, but this is good for now. How I draw Horror will most likely not change, but Dust might in the future.
