Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: What DLCs Would Survive Galeem??

I always found it a little backwards that only Kirby survived. Even if he was the only one with the ability to live, he would've helped someone else (like Meta Knight or King Dedede), but I just bought it. But with the additions of the DLC Fighters, there's never an explanation as to how they got there or if they were a part of Galeem's army. So that's where I come in. I'm going to decide what DLCs would survive and who wouldn't!!

NOTICE: I am by NO means experienced in all of these games!! A lot of my knowledge is from Smash and Smash only, so if I get facts wrong, feel free to correct me!! I'd love to hear all of your guys' ideas as well!!

So of course, there are rules and limits. If there weren't, almost everyone would live.

Nobody can latch a ride with Kirby/any other potential survivor. As I said earlier, if they were able to do that, Meta Knight and Dedede would be alive.

As said earlier, most of my knowledge is based off of what they can do in SMASH. But that doesn't limit it. I researched several characters' abilities to make sure my claims were as accurate as someone with no idea can.

With that, let's get into it!!

Joker: Not a Survivor

Joker is pretty much a normal teenager, and Arsène doesn't have anything that would help Joker escape?? I'm pretty sure that there are a few things in P5 that might have allowed him to survive? But as far as I know, no, he wouldn't.

Hero: Not Sure?? Leaning: No

I know nothing about Dragon Quest, but I feel like Hero would be in the same boat as characters like Link and Cloud, where they can try but ultimately they're gonna get captured. The only reasons I'm not sure is because of Hero's reveal where they save Link from Marth and Meta Knight, implying they were alive? But I don't think they actually survived and that that was just a way to advertise them.

Banjo & Kazooie: Not Survivors

Banjo & Kazooie would be in the same boat as Duck Hunt. They don't seem to have anything outstandingly useful to win with, so unfortunately they probably wouldn't live.

Terry Bogard: Not a Survivor

Terry is the most human out of the bunch for DLC pack one (aside from Joker, but even then, Joker has Arsène). He really doesn't have anything to fight against Galeem with and almost no means of escape. Terry unfortunately wouldn't live.

Byleth: Not Sure?? Leaning: Yes

Byleth, unlike the other Fire Emblem cast, has Sothis, who I think has been seen helping Byleth escape one place to get to another. Of course, I'm guessing based on the reveal trailer, and have no prior context to what that cutscene actually was. I still think Byleth could survive.

Min Min: Not a Survivor

Similarly to Terry, Min Min is just a stretchy human. She doesn't have anything all that special other than her arms. Min Min probably wouldn't survive.

Steve/Alex: Survivors!!

Our first definite survivors of the bunch, and they're the minecraft reps. Any shock? Anyways, this one is situational. But I'm gonna count it since the Star Fox gang AND Captain Falcon conveniently had their ships. So, how would they do it? Nether portals. If Steve and Alex build a Nether portal and go through it, Galleem probably couldn't get them, since I think the light would just break the portal on contact since it acts more like a weapon than an entity. So congrats, Steve and Alex, to be the first of three definite survivors!!

Sephiroth: Take a guess. (Survivor!)

Listen, Sephiroth can slice Galeem in half. Considering that, I think he could avoid Galeem's attacks. Under the assumption that he doesn't kill Galeem so that World of Light can actually happen.

Pyra + Mythra: Not Survivors

As far as I'm aware, neither of them have any abilities that could help them escape, since they seem human or equivalent? So they wouldn't make it, most likely.

Kazuya: Not Sure?? Leaning: No

Kazuya was weird to me. I'm not a huge fighting game person other than SSB, so I knew nothing about Tekken. After some google searches, I leaned to the side he wouldn't survive. He's mostly human, but even with his Devil's Gene, more powerful characters (like Ganondorf) also lost, so he wouldn't survive. I think.

Sora: Survivor!!

My main!!! Even though I love Sora, I'm not biased! I haven't played Kingdom Hearts. But based off of a few searches, and his Final Smash, I believe he can open portals with his Keyblade. Unlike Steve and Alex, he can open portals under less circumstances. So the place of our third and final survivor goes to no other than Sora!

To finish it off, the DLC packs brought some very powerful characters that could survive World of Light. I wish we had gotten some explanation as to what happened to the DLCs, but I get it. Cutscenes are hard to make. Again, these are all my ideas, and I might not be right! If you have something to add, feel free! I'd be glad to hear from you! I'm not into KH so I don't really catch the parallel other than the obvious one in the photoset you reblogged. Can you elaborate on the reference and how it could lead to something in TK8?

I don't remember KH3 too well just because I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous main two. But uhm, I'm not sure if TK8 was making an intentional reference, ripping off, or if it's pure coincidence. It's kinda hard to elaborate unless you know how KH works.

But basically Aqua (the girl with the blue hair - the "Jin" in that scene) had been taken over by the main villain, kinda in a possessed way similar to DJ, I guess would be an easy way to explain it. Sora fights her, and afterwards she falls into the sea of darkness, and that's when that scene takes place. She thinks she's gonna die, lost in darkness forever, then Sora saves her and brings her back to the light.

Now, I think the context of TK8 is prooobs different than that, but we really don't know yet. I have some of my own theories / guesses of what it is happening in the TK8 trailer. The main thing I guess is that Jin was killed or nearly killed by an enemy, likely Kazuya. Because TK8 will probs have the trope of Good Guy fights Bad Guy for the first time in This Story but isn't Strong Enough yet, Good Guy loses horribly and has to get Stronger later to defeat Bad Guy in Final Showdown.

So, anyway - Jin gets killed by Kazuya, and then the water - rather than being a physical place like it is in KH3, I imagine it's likely just a representation of Jin's mind, and the further he's going down represents that he's literally dying. (As many fans seem to think Jin is literally drowning - I don't think he is at all.) And Jin's disappointed in himself for losing, and therefore - dooming the world. That's when a hand reaches out from a shadow - it's Jin's hand. But it being from a shadow makes me believe it's supposed to be DJ despite lack of his talons. Since DJ has saved Jin back in TK3 (after Jin was literally shot and DJ awakened) and has technically helped protect Jin throughout TK7. (Though DON'T applaud DJ for this, these aren't heroic acts xD) Now I have a few different theories as to what this could mean and or lead up to.

1... Jin & DJ put their differences aside to defeat Kazuya. Have no clue how this would happen. But there are already theories circulating that Jin can't actually control his powers in the trailers, and he's instead just "calling upon" DJ when he needs the powers. DJ reaching out with a normal looking hand could signify a truce between them.

2... This is all just a means for DJ to manipulate Jin. Jin either goes along, but maybe likely knows this - but since he's so desperate to defeat Kazuya, and sees Kazuya as the Greater Threat, he accepts DJ's help.

3... Since the devs have emphasized that this game will be about Jin accepting who he is and breaking free of the chains. This could merely be Jin accepting his Devil Gene, and realizing that it's not all evil, it can do good for him and he learns to use it against Kazuya by letting it resurrect him. However, this wouldn't make too much sense, as... Jin already seems to accept the devil gene in the epilogue of TK7. But Harada had already stated that TK8 is going "differently" than what he originally planned. So, we might see more retcons and other unexpected stuff. Hell, DJ himself might be depicted differently. Especially it might depend on what route they go - if they go the TK2, TK4, and TK6 route where devils ARE different entities possessing people (Jin/Kazuya) or if they're going the route that TK5 kinda portrayed, and what some fans, for some reason, think - and that the devils aren't separate from the characters, and they're just if the characters gave into their Bad Desires. Which I hope not - I prefer DJ being a different character from Jin. It's more interesting imo.

Anyway - this probs is an incomprehensible word vomit. But I guess TL;DR: I think the scenes, despite being blatant on the surface, only parallels with both characters "dying" in a metaphorical ocean only to be saved before death ensues.

Mini Fanfic #791: Wrath of the Certified Moms (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)

4:23 p.m. at Smash Mansion's Dining Hall......

It was quiet and Intense afternoon at the Mansion of Smash as everyone hides away and watch an unfazed Kazuya have himself a conversation with the Certified Moms Squads, who are not very happy with him at the point.

Peach: Mr. Kazuya. (Crosses Her Arms in a Not Pleased Yet Professional Like Manner) I take it that you are wondering why we wanted to talk to you at this very moment, yes?

Kazuya: No. I don't actually. But since we're here.....(Slams Two of his Feet On the Table One By One) Let's talk.

Samus: What the hell are you doing?

Kazuya: (Raised an Eyebrow at the Bounty Hunter Glaring at Him) Pardon?

Daisy: (Glares at Kazuya as Well) You heard the lady, buster. Why the hell do you have your crumby feet on the table!?

Kazuya: What? Am I not supposed to do that here or something?

Rosalina: (Simply Nodded) That is right. It's very rude and thoughtless.

Isabella: Not to mention unsanitary.

Tifa: This might be our first time meeting one another.....(Glares at Kazuya Harsh) But I know for a fact that you weren't raised on a damn farm.

Samus: Exactly. So if you know what's good for you going forward....(Starts Gritting her Teeth) We suggest you take your feet off the fucking table. Right now.

Kazuya: (Starts at the Glaring for a Brief Second Before Scoffing a Bit in Defeat as He Reluctantly Did What He Was Told) There. Happy?

Samus: (Glare Pierce Harder at the Man) Very.

Peach: ('Sigh') Now with that out of the way, Mr. Kazuya, after you fought Ganondorf and threw him off a cliff, is it true that you tried to do the same to Pit and Kirby afterwards?

Kazuya: What? You mean the Angel Boy and Pink Puffball? ('Heh') Yeah. I did. What of it?

Palutena: (Immediately Gets Up and Angrily Slams her Hands on the Table) ('SLAM') WHAT OF IT!? YOU ALMOST KILLED MY BABY, YOU MURDEROUS PIECE OF-

Bayonetta: (Immediately Got Up and Place Her Hands on Palutena's Shoulders to Calm her Down) Paulie dear, please. Calm yourself.

Tifa: (Gently Place her Hand on Top of Palutena's) Bayo's right. Don't let him get to you like this.

Palutena: How can you all expect me to be calm in a time like that!? (Tears Starts Falling Down on her Face) Have you forgotten what that bastard done to Pit!?

Peach: (Turns Around to Palutena with a Worried yet Understanding Frown on her Face) We understand how you feel completely, dear. Which is all the more reasons why you should let me do all the talking. You do trust us, right?

Palutena: Of course I do. ('Sniff') You girls are my family...('Sniff') I just....I just can't help not being upset, you know?

Bayonetta: (Gently Pulls Palutena into a Loving Hug) I know, my sweet, beautiful goddess. I know. But we all need to pull ourselves together and get Peach handle this. For our babies sake.

Palutena begins to looks up and see Pit, Kirby, and the Phantom Thieves hiding behind the living room's wall, witnessing everything going down in the dining hall.

Palutena: (Sighs While Finally Calming Herself Down) Right. I do need to pull myself together. (Turns to Pit While Quietly Saying 'I Love You' to Him With a Sad Smile Before Sitting Back Down)

Pit: (Smiles Softly) I love you too, mom

Kazuya: (Suddenly Starts to Chuckle Evilly For Almost Everyone in the Mansion to Hear)

Peach: (Raised an Eye Brow at Kazuya in a Very Unamused Manner) Something's funny to you, Kazuya?

Kazuya: Yes, actually. Here I thought participating in this kind of tournament would be somewhat interesting. I'd never imagined how pathetically soft amd weak minded all of you really are. But I suppose be too shouldn't be surprised by the outcome, since you have an embarrassment of a tyrant king and an annoying puffball as one of your competitors.

Ganondorf: (Growling Angry at Kazuya from the Distance With the Other League of Villains Members)

Kazuya: And worthless angel boy of yours was easily the weakest of them all that it's laughable at best.

Pit starts to frown sadly by Kazuya's words until Ren place a hand onto his shoulder while giving him a reassuring look that feels him to not to believe a single word he says. This, in it if itself, actually helps calm the angel down immensely.

Kazuya: Hell, he's better off being dead if any-

'CRASH'

Without a second thought, Peach angrily punched down the table I front of her, the ladies, and Kazuya so hard that it crumbles to the ground, easily breaking it into small, tiny pieces, much everyone's surprise and shock.

Bowser: Holy........

Samus: ........Shit........

Ryuji: (From the Living Room) EXCLAMATION MARK!!!!

Kazuya: (Starts Smirking at the Angered Princess While Being Unfazed by the Sudden Event) What's this now? Did I do finally struck a nerve, your highness?

Peach: (Immediately Grabs Kazuya By the Collar While Giving the Most Darkest, Piercing Glare Imaginable, Even For Her) Listen here, you insufferable, arrogant creep! I don't what made you the way you are right now, and frankly, I don't give a single damn about it at this point! All you need to know that if you're planning on continuing to set foot in this mansion, you don't EVER insult my babies and harm my family ever again! YOU HEAR ME!?

Daisy: (Immediately Got Up to Calm Peach Down) Woah there, cuz. Take it easy for us, okay?

Samus: (Got Up and Calm Peach Down as Well) Daisy's right, Peach. He's not worth the trouble at this point......

Peach looks back and forth the girls and Kazuya for a few seconds before finally calming herself down.

Peach: ('Sighs in Defeat') Okay......(Finally Let's Go of Kazuya) I suppose I should apologize for what happened just now. It wasn't lady like of me.

Daisy: (Chuckles Lightly) Are you kidding me? That was most badass thing I've ever seen yet! (Happily Hugs Peach) And it was all caused by my favorite cuz~

Peach: (Giggles Softly) I'm your only cousin, Daisy.

Samus: Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with Daisy this on. (Smirks a bit Playfully at Peach) I did not expect you to be this hardcore. I'm proud. Though, I think we might need to replace that table in a little bit.

Peach: (Giggles Softly Some More) I know. Thanks, you guys.

Kazuya: (Watches the Trio While Fixing his Collar and Shirt) ('Tch') Knew I should've ignored them if I had the chance.......

Peach: Kazuya Mishima!

Kazuya: (Turns Back to Peach) Yeah? What?

Peach: (Crosses her Arms While Glaring Darkly at Kazuya Again) Remember this well: If I EVER hear you pulled this stunt again, I will NOT hesitate to kick you out of this mansion and ban you from ever taking part of this tournament! Do you understand me!?

Kazuya was able to say something to the princess until his eyes suddenly begins to widened, as he comes to the realization that Peach's glare is starting to remind him of a woman from past. Who happens to be his deceased mother, Kazumi Mishima. It wasn't too long until he suddenly begins to get down on his knees and bow himself down to the princess in a traditional like manner, much everyone complete surprise.

Kazuya: I apologise for my foolish actions. It will never happen again.....

Peach: (Couldn't Believe What She's Seeing in Front of Her) Oh my.......I-I Mean! (Starts Clearing Her Throat Before Turning Away From the Fallen Man) As long as you got message, we'll hold you to it. Let's go, ladies. (Begins to Walks Away with Other Ladies Following Her)

Palutena gives one last harsh glare at Kazuya before walking away with the others. Leaving him to his lonesome self altogether. (While Still Being in a Bowing like Position).

Meanwhile.....

Bowser: (Eyes Widened After Witnessing Everything That Went Down Just Now) Well.........That happened?

Hades: (Starts Snicking) I know, right? Who would've thought the Devil Boy got whipped so easily?

Sephiroth: (Carrying Pichu in his Arms) I'm more surprise on how strong the princess has gotten. Mario's a lucky man.

Bowser: ('Tch') (Crosses his Arms While Looking Away) Yeah. Lucky jackass, bastard.....

Ganondorf: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ridley: (Turns to Ganondorf) What gotten you in a good mood?

Ganondorf: Seeing this warm grovelling on the floor! (Crosses his Arms While Smirking Evilly and Triumphantly) Knew he wasn't shit from the beginning.

Ridley: But didn't he still beat you and threw you off a cliff?

Ganondorf: (Slowly Turns to Ridley with a Deadpinned Glare) Do you want me throw you off a cliff instead, Ridley?

Ridley: ('Sigh') No.......

Bowser: (Looking at Kazuya Shaking Slightly in the Ground From a Distance) Uhh....Guys? I think the new guy's crying over here. Saying about missing his mom or whatever.....

Hades: Ah yeah. Forgot to mention this sooner, but his mom died when he was little. Just found that one out when I was reading his inner thoughts earlier. So.....oops.

Sephiroth: The loss of a loving mother is never an easy feeling. He has my pity.

Pichu: (Nodded in Agreement) Pika. Pi.

Ganondorf: ('Scoffs') He can cry about her all he wants. (Starts Walking Away) He'll no sympathy from me.

Elsewhere in the Fitness Gym.......

Ike: (Paused his Training Session For a Moment) Hm?......... (Shrugs Before Resuming his Workout)

Sora’s Time to Shine

Summary: Mari is already not putting too much expectations going into watching the Final Smash Presentation when someone close to her besides Kirby and Edelgard’s beloved Professor pops out of nowhere in said Presentation. All hell breaks loose (but in a good way).

Setting: Mari and co.’s house in Daly City, California; October 5, 2021

Notes: I was pretty behind in seeing the reveal since I was pretty tired when it came out and I had to check a friend’s post on Plurk to make sure that it was not all for the jokes before watching it on Gamespot and writing this story down. And yes, the Byleth in my S/I verse is the female version in case anyone is curious. And yes, it took me until around 8 AM to write this up. Featuring Luther Vandross. “Hurry Mari, you’re about to miss it!” Kairi is dragging me out onto the sofa to see the final Smash Ultimate Presentation on the living room pretty early before plopping ourselves onto the sofa.

“Look, Kairi, guys. I hate to be a party pooper, but I have no clue about who could it be,” I try to be realistic in my views.

“Well, at this point, my beloved, it could be anybody from the video game world,” my dear Philip chimes in while trying to reassure me, ��Besides, as soon as it is done, we shall try to reply back to this non Smash invitation that El had found in the mail today.”

“Huh, is that correct, El dear?” I asked my regal adopted daughter for confirmation.

“Why yes of course, Mother,” she replies as she passes me the invitation, “I believe that a friend of yours has sent us one, but I didn’t want to open it immediately since this is addressed to you.”

“Okay then, I will get to read it and reply back once the Presentation is over and see who gets to fight with Kirby and Professor Byleth,” I smiled back at her.

“I couldn’t believe that there was a leak that just came out before this Presentation video and it is about music. Who was that dense enough to do it at a time like this?” Riku mumbles as he gets the video streaming on the Nintendo Direct page in his laptop.

“You know, Riku, sometimes people can act very idiotic at times, so there isn’t much we can do besides ignoring and avoiding that as much as possible,” Harry sighs as he is bottle feeding and gently rocking Serena as she had cried a while ago to be bottle fed.

“Guys, have you guys seen Sora lately?” Issa asks us while carrying Chris in her arms, “I haven’t seen him in the last few days. He didn’t even reply back to either my or Kairi’s texts and calls. Do you think he’s off to visit Jack and Sally in Halloween Town? It’s nearing Halloween soon.”

“That’s really a good question, Issa,” Ahk agrees, “I had given up trying to find him by calling over on the phone since last Thursday. All I have gotten from it were many ‘The subscriber could not be reached’ messages.”

Even Riku and Kairi are in a loss for words as they turn to each other and wonder what is up with our friend lately. Did he just went poof without us knowing? Kirby always informs us through his many Poyos that he would have to head off to Smash whenever a new tourney starts or a newcomer arrives and Edelgard’s class often gets shorter class schedules or early dismissals whenever Professor Blyeth gets to fight in Smash: she is the professor handling the Black Eagles class. Sometimes even El, Petra and Dorothea along with a few others (and yes, that includes the Gatekeeper) would come over to Smash to spectate from the sidelines and support their beloved Professor.

There is a long silence when the Nintendo Switch title card plays in the laptop and Karina directs us all to watch the screen to see many clips featuring many Smashers in the current tournament before it transitions to Sakurai-san in the studio explaining about the video as well as showcasing the Mii Fighter costumes.

“Hey look, Isabelle the Dog’s demon slaying friend from Bethesda is now coming to Smash to rip and tear up the competition!” Moana screams when the Doomguy Mii Gunner costume appears.

“Good for him; I know that many fans really did want him to be in Smash, though the costume is a nice addition,” Issa agrees. “That now makes three Bethesda franchises represented in the costumes.”

“Even the Octolings and Judd the Cat got hats based on them too,” I chime in as well.

“Oh hey, guys! Sakarui’s about to reveal the last fighter for the Second Fighter’s Pass, so keep down it and don’t expect too much,” Karina informs as Sakurai transitions to the main event and we all stay silent and stay glued to our seats.

The screen turns black before the usual Smash logo opening shows up, but instead of the usual zoom in, it then turns into a flaming Smash logo with all the Smashers up until Kazuya Mishima (yeah, the guy who tried to drop Kirby off a cliff) looking at it and covered in the shadows. Did MH decided to get them to show up in there and meet the last fighter in the dark? Probably, I bet that he might be keeping it as a surprise and possibly even conserving electricity at the same time. Then cut to Inkling Girl looking in awe with the Smash logo reflecting onto her pupils as a nice ode to the first reveal trailer for the game/tourney, I honestly love this shot.

Wait a minute, the logo turns into stars and the next scene shows everyone frozen in place as toy-like ambiios?!? How is it even possible? Well, it does certainly confirmed once again that the video game version of the tourney is set in a world of make believe after all. I could swear that a lot of people crying their eyes out as they are watching this. It looks like this is the end of one great video game series about mascots fighting among each other. Or is it? Because the camera is aiming at Mario as if he looks like he’s trying to take a nap while standing up.

Riku then proceeds to mumble some words to me incoherently that something big is coming the moment Mario wakes up to see a glowing light to see the last remaining flame glowing on the floor, which I do agree with him. Suspicious right? Oh God, Mario no! Please don’t touch the fire for everyone’s sanity. Wait, hold on a second: that isn’t not just fire that he just grabbed on and then tossed it into the sky like a boomerang: the mystery object looks like a Keyblade and there’s that Mickey keychain! Yep, that’s a Keyblade alright. Could it be...

I could recognize that beam of light that Keyblades often produce whenever they lock and unlock Keyholes to other worlds, so does everyone in the room. Riku and Kairi hugged onto each other as if we’re about to brace for an emergency (Karina and Moana also did the same), Ahk stares at the screen to see if he’s not imagining things all the sudden, Issa has her mouth drop in shock, Chris and Serena didn’t cry throughout this entire presentation, Harry gasps and nearly drops Serena’s bottle, Philip turns to me for answers while Edelgard begins to sweatdrop in concern.

No words are exchanged as the light grows and shines brighter before it proceeds to shoot itself away from the Keyblade to reveal a Keyhole on another part of the room. It then glows bright within as the camera switches back to the rest of frozen Smashers as the light begins to fill the room and revives Link, Cloud, Incineroar and Mewtwo as they all gawk at it as it reveals something from the World of Light with the orchestral rendition of Simple and Clean playing in the background. And that’s when it hits us right at the gut: the familiar spiky brown hair poking out from that Keyhole.

“What!?!” Kairi shouts as the Keyhole ‘spits’ out Sora from the World of Light.

“H-h-he actually got in, for real?” Riku squeaks up.

“Oh my…” I gasp in pure shock as we watch the whole thing played out.

“Sakarui finally did it?” Issa adds in to the discussion.

“Well, it’s about time that they managed to get his darn behind into the tourney,” Karina seconds in.

Soon enough, Sora finally wakes up from his nappy time and takes notes from Peter Pan and Tinkerbell as he flies around, sprinkling fairy dust all over the other Smashers, before landing on the floor and the Keyblade flying back to his hand.

“Damn it, Sora!” I scream as the splash screen pops in.

“Kai, your boy has finally made it big time!” Moana shakes Kairi in congratulation rather rapidly that it nearly gives my lil sis a dizzying spell.

“Moana, please don’t make Kairi that dizzy,” Harry had to tell her that.

“Whoops! Sorry Kairi,” she apologizes to her which she accepts.

So with that, we switch back to Sakurai going in depth with Sora’s moveset after he discussed about the Kingdom Hearts games and world. And he has gotten 4 costume changes, man Sora, that’s a big wardrobe you’re bringing in, oh wait, he even got the Timeless River costume too. That makes it 5 then.

“Oh gods, Sakurai is making us suffer by watching Sakurai using Sora to beat up everyone,” Ahk tells us as the Sora moveset showcase begins.

“No kidding,” Harry muses as we see Sora beating everyone in Battlefield.

“Whoa, they went for Sealing the Keyhole instead of having Trinity Force with Donald and Goofy? What a bummer,” Karina bemoans in dismay.

“Well, you know modern Disney: too overprotective of their IPs,” Philip reminds her.

“Oh new stage, what could it be?” Riku gleefully chimes in before they reveal Hollow Bastion as the stage, “Whoa, Hollow Bastion. I never thought that you will return again.”

Then the stage changes into Dive to the Heart and it had Riku and Kairi in the stained glass in one, Riku being the main focus of the second one, Roxas in the middle of the third, Xion in the fourth, Terra for the fifth, a sleepy Ven in the sixth, and Aqua’s in the seventh.

“Pretty!” I complimented the look of each stained glass.

“Quite impressive I will admit,” El agrees with me too.

Then Sakurai begins a playthrough with Sora facing Cloud and Sephiroth in Hollow Bastion, for a while, we all thought that he’s going to be a goner with Cloud and Sephiroth beating him up in the Stamina match but then the tides begin to turn in his favor after Sephy lost his full stock and with Sora having to take down Cloud next. When he did, the scene begins to go into a slow white fade out with a Game!

“Alright! Sora did it! He defeated both Cloud and mean old Sephy,” Riku cheers on.

“Woo! Go Sora!” me, Kairi, Moana, and Karina screams aloud.

“That was brilliant!” Harry agrees before he turns to Serena, “Did you hear? Uncle Sora managed to defeat two opponents in a Smash Ultimate playthrough.”

“9 songs is better than nothing at all,” Issa observes, “It would be a licensing nightmare to talk to Disney if they can borrow a couple of songs from them and they straight up refuse to assist, oh well. Oooh, a Dearly Beloved Swing arrangement, nice! I better get that save file on the Switch prompto!”

“And check out that Spirit Board: Aunt Kairi has a Spirit of herself,” Edelgard informs us as the Spirit Board for KH is revealed.

“Oh gee, never thought that it could ever happen, but thanks,” she blushes.

“Hey, I got one as well, same with Axel, Xion, Roxas, Aqua, Terra and Ven,” Riku joins in, “Marina is so going to be happy to see her boyfriend as a Spirit. She will probably try to get him real soon.”

“You bet it right, Riku, you bet it right,” I nod and agree with that last statement.

“Oh hey, he’s going to be ready within a few weeks’ time,” Karina speaks up, “Neat! The roster is now complete.”

“Even Steve and Alex have amiibos of themselves being made, that’s even more wonderful,” Ahk takes note of it, “I’m pretty sure that Sora will have one of his own along with Pyra, Mythra, that jerk who tried to threw Kirby off a cliff, and even Sephiroth soon.”

“WHAT?!? Kingdom Hearts are coming to the Switch too!?!” I am surprised to hear the news as Sakurai reveals this new information, that is so mind-blowing.

When it fades to black then to the Ultimate mural, the camera then goes for the space between Ganondorf and Dark Samus to fill in Sora’s spot before panning back. Man, this Presentation is long and is finally ending, thank God; it must be tiring to sit down and watch a nearly hour long video as Sakurai showcases the screenshots he has made and showed off in Twitter. Man, so many memories and montages. And the achievements, wow, that is a lot of them, it will be a game feat that I don’t think it will be broken for a long time.

Man, I will miss the presentations and Sakurai’s corny jokes for sure. I wish him a nice deserving break from all the game development for sure as he gives thanks to everyone from the devs to the players to the people prompting the game and ends it off with a heartfelt goodbye as it fades to back into the full reveal trailer.

“Oh gee, I’m going to miss the Smash Presentations,” Kairi sighs, “I can’t believe that we’re coming to an end.”

“Man, it’s finally over,” Riku gasps in remark as the full trailer plays out, “I don’t think that there will be a game like Ultimate for a very long time. That’s for certain.”

“I agree, Riku. It’s to going to be a tough act to follow up on,” I add in before I look up at the ceiling and murmur some words, “It’s been a long time coming, Sora. You truly deserve that last spot, you really do. Have fun in the tourney and Smash Mansion, buddy.”

On the 10th anniversary of Fate/EXTRA‘s release, TYPE-MOON Studio BB announced a remake of the game for current generation platforms titled Fate/EXTRA Record. The remake is developed using the Unreal Engine and features upgraded graphics, character models and dungeon environments.

TYPE-MOON Studio BB describes Record as follows:

Fate/EXTRA released on July 22nd 2010, as the first RPG in the Fate series. 10 years after its original release, the game is now being remade for current generation platforms. To all those who once witnessed the Moon Holy Grail War unfold, and those who have yet to, please look forward to its arrival.

Kadokawa Games has announced Root Film, the next entry in its mystery adventure series for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It will launch this spring in Japan for 6,800 yen.

Here are the details:

■ About Root Film

In Root Film, the voice actor idol unit i☆Ris sings the theme song and play the roles of the main characters, while ladies’ man voice actor Wataru Komada plays the role of the male protagonist. Additionally, the game is produced by Yoshimi Yasuda, who launched the Kadokawa Games mystery adventure series; written and directed by Hifumi Kouno, who has a reputation for working on adventure games; and features character design by Taro Mino, who also worked on the previous game Root Letter. Look forward to a new mystery title set in Shimane told by two protagonists, Rintarou Yagumo and Riho.

■ Story: Murderous Intent Hidden in 29.97 Frames

Spirited young filmmaker Rintarou Yagumo is involved in a new TV project—a mystery drama production set in Shimane that also served as tourism promotion for the prefecture. It has been 10 years since the original pilot was shot, and while the project was discontinued for unknown reasons, plans for a revival seems to be in place. One of the characteristics of this project is that it is a competition between three filmmakers, and each filmmaker shoots using a different actress as the protagonist. Yagumo is excited to learn that the other two filmmakers are famous directors. Before long, Yagumo and the staff members head off to go pre-location scouting, but a murder occurs at their destination…

Rintarou Yagumo (voiced by Wataru Komada)

An up-and-coming young filmmaker.

Rintarou Yagumo is a poor filmmaker with a small, personal office. While he manages to make a living by occasionally making small promotional videos and sham psychic DVDs, he is not satisfied with his current situation and is always trying to improve himself. He recently won awards at the “6-Minute Film Festival,” “Asia Movie Competition,” and so on, and is garnering attention as an up-and-coming filmmaker.

Riho (voiced by Himika Akaneya)

The other protagonist.

The other protagonist, who is cheerful and often laughing. She was scouted in high school and transferred to another high school in Tokyo. She studied acting alongside her school studies and made her debut at 17 years-old. While it was a sober debut due to the fact that she signed with a small office, she is gradually gaining value within the industry for her talent as an actor.

Aine Magari (voiced by Yuu Serizawa)

The caring assistant.

A foul-mouthed assistant who works for Yagumo Pictures. She is extremely skilled in the use of editing software and equipment. While she has a bad attitude and the air of a former delinquent, she is a good girl at heart. She takes notice of the smaller details and often looks after Yagumo.

Hitoha Amakata (voiced by Kubota Miyu)

A small office idol.

An idol signed with a small office. She is one of the three actors chosen as the leads for the Shimane mystery drama project. Yagumo chooses her as a partner and together they travel around Shimane’s various locations.

Kyouichi Kanade (voiced by Azuki Shibuya)

The super beautiful cameraman.

A cameraman who often hangs out with Yagumo. While he may still be learning, he has courage and cameraman will-power, and since cameramen tend to ask for a lot of money, he is a saving grace for the poor Yagumo. He is a quiet and takes pride in his work. He always comes off as somewhat sleepy.

Tomie Ao (voiced by Yuuki Wakai)

Riho’s friend.

Riho’s friend from high shcool and a freshman at Shimane University. She is studying the work of Yakumo Koizumi. She moved to Shimane during high school. She has a deep love for her father, and can sometimes be strongly opinionated. She is cute, but does not have much of a fashion sense.

Ayane Kotoshiro (voiced by Saki Yamakita)

A friendly and strong-willed girl.

A girl from the esteemed Kotoshiro family of Shimane. She is simple-minded and friendly, but can also be strong-willed and selfish. She is dating Kazuya Makida, who works for her, and even thinks she wants to get married.

■ Game System

One of the defining systems of Root Film is “Synesthesia Mode.” During conversation, words that have been singled out as “words that should not be forgotten” in your subconscious will appear on screen. The keywords you acquire can be used as part of your hand in “Max Mode.”

Max Mode is a debate between the protagonist and other characters in the game, which occurs in the resolution chapters you switch over to as you progress through the game. While this mode is carried over from Root Letter, it has the appearance of a fighting game and the system has been completed renewed.

Another characteristic of Root Film is the stylish user interface and text design themed around film work under the supervision of Hifumi Kouno.

■ First-Print Purchase Bonus DVD: “i☆Ris x Root Film Treasured Footage Collection”

First-print copies of Root Film will include a “i☆Ris x Root Film Treasured Footage Collection,” a bonus DVD of the i☆Ris concert at Kadokawa Games Grand Festival 2019 and a behind-the-scenes look at the studio recording of the Root Film theme song.

■ Root Film Theme Song: “Utakata no Hikari”

i☆Ris, who play the roles of the main characters in Root Film, are also the singers of the game’s original theme song. The theme song “Utakata no Hikari,” which was first unveiled at Kadokawa Games Grand Festival 2019, is a mature ballad with an air of suspense. Please look forward to a mature i☆Ris that is not often seen.

■ Root Film Premiere Event

How will it play out for those two when the young duke despite his romantic feelings is not able to touch the one he loves?

Tantei wa Mou Shindeiru

The detective is already dead! and with that the story starts without its hero.

In the present day our male-lead Kimihiko Kimizuka tries to return to an ordinary life again as a High school student.

After four years of being an Assistant of a detective called Siesta, who also was his former boss, his adventurous and dangerous everyday life turned back how it used to be before with Siesta’s death.

Back to how things should have originally been, Kimizuka tries his best to adapt back, but simply cannot forget the four years of events that he had lived alongside the detective.

All of that seems like a story that came to an end- which is far from true since the now back to Highschool boy meets a girl who looks extremely like his former boss.

A story that was supposed to end, is just about to start…

But one reality always sticks despite the many faces: being an adult sucks.

And so does the “big brother” Uramichi teach his children in the show “Life lessons with Uramichi” not only physical exercise but also depict the big difference between adults and children, sometimes letting comments slip that are supposed to stay hidden…

Telling her mother she won’t be back home with other intentions in her mind she stumbles upon Gama Gama Aquarium where she meets Kukuru Misakino, a 18-year old highschool student who also works at her family's aquarium.

Kukuru’s dream is to take care of the aquarium and keep it alive, therefore she works hard and several jobs over summer break in order to keep it from shutting down.

When the two girls meet, both decide to share the same dream of protecting the aquarium with the summer being their last chance.

7. Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition Preview

Square Enix describes this game as “an all-new adventure that retells the beloved story of Final Fantasy XV.” It will have an all-new art style with touch-based controls, though it appears to have all the same mechanics as the console version.

The story goes like this: After years of fighting, the nations of Lucis and Niflheim agree to a truce. As a symbol of peace between the two, Noctis, the crown prince of Lucis, is to marry the Lady Lunafreya of Tenebrae. You step into the shoes of the prince, who sets off for his wedding on the eve of the signing ceremony. To get there, he has to overcome many dangerous challenges.

The game is already listed on the Play Store, where you can pre-register to get notified when it goes live. The first chapter will be free to play, while the other nine will cost you a few bucks. The developer has not revealed when exactly the game will be released.

Tekken is a classic fighting game to get your blood pumping. Its Story Mode lets you take on the role of legendary fighter Kazuya Mishima and battle your way through a map-based campaign. You can also try out the Dojo Challenge, where you have to build a team and compete against friends and other players around the world online.

There are over 20 characters available to collect in Tekken, and each has a unique fighting style. You can also upgrade and unlock more than 20 special moves for each character to take your fighting game to the next level.

9. Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile is an open world action game. Its story revolves around the Kingdom of Valencia and the Republic of Calpheon, which are fighting over Black Stones — magic artifacts that increase the power of armor or weapons.

You have to complete various quests and take down a number of enemies. As you progress through the game, your character receives experience points that increase their fighting power and allow you to fight more powerful opponents.

There are five characters, seven battle modes, and various lifestyle activities, like mining, logging, and fishing available in the game.

Black Desert Mobile is expected to launch sometime this month, though only in South Korea — the developer’s home country — at first. Check out the trailer above to see what the game looks like in action.

10. PayDay: Crime War

Already a popular first-person shooter on PCs and consoles, Payday is coming to Android. Payday Crime War is a multiplayer, team PvP title, where two teams go head to head with different goals. One team takes on the role of criminals trying to perform a robbery, while the other steps into the shoes of a SWAT team trying to prevent the crime.

Up to eight players can take part in a match, which can take place in different locations. As you progress through the game, you can get new weapons and additional abilities to step up your game.

Developer Overkill Software has set up a website for the upcoming game, claiming it’s “coming soon to mobile.” An exact date has not been shared with the public yet.

You can engage in real-time PvP battles, provide overwatch as you deploy your unit to attack your opponent’s bases, and much more.

2. DC Unchained

In DC Unchained, you’ll visit locations including Gotham City and Metropolis to take on opponents as a member of the Justice League like Superman or Batman.

3. GRID: Autosport

There’s an extensive career mode available that allows you to recruit new members to your team and get sponsors on board in addition to racing.

The game is already available for iOS devices and is coming to Android sometime in the first half of this year. A more specific time frame has not been given.

4. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: Battlefield

The game will first be released in China, although a specific time frame has not been revealed yet.

5. Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

No other details are known about the game at this point. But based on the success of the company’s previous titles and the popularity of Harry Potter, it could be a smash hit.

No word on an exact release date yet, but you can sign up on the official website of the game to get notified when it launches.

Bowser: Yep. Mario's thinking about taking all of us somewhere eventful for the summer. Hope it's the beach resort.

Sephiroth: (Gently Rubbing the Top of Pichu's Head) Ah the beach..... A place well know for peaceful paradise.

Ridley: (Raised an Eyebrow at the One Winged Beside him in Confusion) You make it sound like you've never been to.one before.

Sephiroth: That's because I've haven't. I've been too preoccupied by all the chaotic events that happened in my life that the thought of going to one has never occurred to me until now. (Smiles a Little) Still, it would be nice to spend our days there. Spending more time with my son and whatnot. (Kiss the Top of Pichu's Head)

Bowser: The hell are you?

Mewtwo: Kazuya Mishima.

Bowser: (Raised an Eyebrow at Mewtwo in Confusion) Kazu what now?

Kazuya: (Sits Himself Down) It's Kazuya Mishima. (Place Both of his Feet on the Table at Once) The head of G-Corp.....(Gives Everyone an Intense Glare) And the last person you want to cross.

Hades: ................. Charming. So I take you're one of the newer contestants in this tournament.

Kazuya: (Simply Nodded) That's right. I simply wanted to see if the fighters here are worth a challenge. (Turns to Ganondorf) So far, I'm not impressed.

Ganondorf: (Starts Glaring at Kazuya) You only say that cause you gotten lucky and won.....

Kazuya: (Starts Smirking) ('Heh') Please. I won because you were pathetically weak. I'd even go as far to say that you're unworthy of title of being "The Dark Lord". If that's really what people been calling you.....

Ridley: (Eyes Widened by Kazuya's Remark) Oh shit.........

Ridley: (Turns to Dark Samus) I know, right? That has to be the most disrespectful burn I have ever seen in my life.

Pichu: (Happily Nodded in Agreement) Pichu!~

The Dark Lord looks back and forth at the gang and Kazuya for a couple of seconds before groaning in utter defeat.

Ganondorf: ('Ugggh') (Pinching his Nose) I can't believe I'm saying this, but....(Sighs While Taking his Hand off his Nose) I suppose we could add another member to the league. Especially someone with a decent amount a strength. (Turns to Kazuya) What do you say? Are you in?

Kazuya: ('Hmph') I suppose I can accept the offer. As long as you agree to not get in my way.

Ganondorf: (Pull his Hand Out Towards Kazuya) Deal.

As Kazuya reluctantly about to shake his hand, he suddenly felt hard squeeze in Ganondorf's grasp.

Ganondorf: (Squeezes Kazuya Hand While Giving him an Intense Glare) Don't think for a second that I'll give you my respects just because you've obtain a lucky victory. Next time we fight, I WILL crush you.

Kazuya: You're never gonna let this go, aren't you? ('Heh') Fine by me. (Squeezes Ganondorf's Hand Back with an Iron Grip) You can come at me anytime you want. (Gives Ganondorf an Evil Twisted Grin on his Face) I'll be more than happy to keep putting you down on your knees like a dog you are......

Ganondorf: (Starts Gritting his Teeth in Anger) Looks like someone asking for a death wish......

Kazuya: I can say the same for you too, worm. Know your place.....

Bowser: (Watches the New Form Rivals Glaring at Each Other Intensely Along With Everyone Else) This is not gonna end well.......

Ridley: (Turns to Hades) Are you sure letting the new guy join was a good idea.

3:40 p.m. at Smash Mansion's Living Room.........

It was a relaxing, peaceful day at the mansion for the Phantom Thieves (Shiho and Lavenza included) as they watch some TV together. That is until......

'Door Open'

Pit: (Weakly Made his Way to the Living Room While Being Covered in Ashes) I'm.....hoooooome......(Fells Down on the Floor in Exhaustion)

'THUD'

Phantom Thieves: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock Once They've Seen Pit Lay on the Ground) PIT!?

Makoto: Oh my god! (Immediately Makes her Way to Pit Along with the Others) Are you okay!? (Starts Helping Pit Back Up With Ren's Assistance)

Pit: ('Groans a Bit in Pain') Yeah......I think so....

Futuba: Dude, what happened to you?

Ann: Yeah. And why are you covered in ashes?

Lavenza: Were you hit by a nearby fire perhaps?

Pit: Not exactly.....I was uhh....(Starts Rubbing the Back of his Head Back and Forth While Chuckling a bit Awkwardly) Kind of, sort of got thrown off a cliff......

Phantom Thieves: You WHAT!!?

Yusuke: Who on Earth would do such a thing!?

Pit: I dunno....Some guy name Kazuya or some-

Ryuji: Waitwaitwait! You said Kazuya?

Shiho: As in THE KAZUYA MISHIMA!?

Pit: Uh....I think that's what his me is, yeah.

Ryuji: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock as He's Almost Speechless) Holy fucking shit.......

Shiho: (Covers her Mouth in Complete Shock) Oh my god.....

Ann: (Turns Ryuji and Shiho in a Not of Confusion) You guys know him or something?

Ryuji: KNOW HIM!? That's the guy from Tekken!?

Shiho: He's the guy with literal devil powers!!!

Lavenza: (Eyes Widened in Genuine Surprise) Oh my.....

Ren: Ah yeah.....Tekken. (Turns to Ryuji) I remember you telling me about it that time school. (Turns to Pit) What makes you wanna go after that guy?

Pit: Well, for starters, we really haven't heard from Ganondorf all day yesterday. So Kirby and I decided to look for him all night. Once we eventually arrived at this....Volcanic Mountain looking place, the first thing we saw was that Kazuya guy carrying Ganondorf to a cliff and throwing off there.

Ryuji: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock) FOR REAL!?

Haru: (Couldn't Believe What She's Hearing) I-I don't understand! Why would he do such a thing!?

Pit: I'm not entirely sure myself, but he did say something about wanting to fight worthy opponents or whatever.

Yusuke: So he's like Ryu then?

Ryuji: Yes......

Shiho: ......And no..... He's way more cold and ruthless than Ryu is in his Messatsu Form.

Ryuji: And that's all because the whole Mishima Family in general was messed up from the start.....

Ann: (Turns to Ryuji and Shiho) How do you two know all of this?

Ryuji: Shiho and I used to play a lot Tekken growing up.

Shiho: (Smiles Softly at her Girlfriend) You should play it with us sometime, Ann. It's really fun.

Ann: (Shrugs While Smiling at her Girlfriend) Sure. I'm down.

Makoto: Guys, we're going off topic here! (Turns Back to Pit) How exactly did you gotten yourself like this? Did you.....

Pit: Yeah....I tried to fight myself, but...beat me to the punch. (Winces a bit in Pain While Placing His Hand on his Stomach) literally.... And then after that, he tries throwing Kirby off the cliff too-

Everyone: He WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?

Pit: (Gets Startled by Everyone's Sudden Outburst Before Speaking Again) Y-Yeah. After I got beaten up and thrown off a cliff, he immediately grabs Kirby by the head and threw him out there too!

Futuba: (Had Enough) OKAY, SERIOUSLY!? What is with this guy and throwing people off CLIFFS!!!?

Pit: That's what I wanted to know!! It's like he has some kind of sick, twisted enjoyment out of it too! I even saw a glimpse of him smirking while I was falling!

Ryuji: I mean, he was thrown off a cliff when he was six. So.......

Futuba: (Starts Pinching her Nose in Disbelief) Oh my freaking God........

Makoto: (Turns to Pit) Pit, do you have any idea where Kirby must've fallen down to once you were on the ground?

Pit: I.... can't say that I do really. All I remembered is seeing was Kazuya preparing to toss Kirby off there with me. After that, I blackouted....

Ren: Wait a minute. Couldn't Kirby fly or-

Ann: I'mma kill him.

Ren/Makoto/Pit: (Slowly Turn their Heads at Ann with a Surprised Look on Each of their Faces) What?

Ann: (Turns to the Trio With Anger in Her Eyes) You heard me. I don't know who this Kazuya guy is and I don't care at this point!! I am going to find the jackass and pulverize him myself!!

Shiho: (Turns to Ann with a Determined Look on her Face) I'll go with you.

Ann: (Gently Grab Both of Shiho's Hands) No, Shiho. I don't want him to hurt you.

Shiho: (Gently Squeezes Ann's Hands) It's okay, Ann. I may not have Personas like you guys, but I've been training for a while now. I can fight too.

Ann: ('Sighs in Defeat') Fine. But you are staying right by my side in all of this, alright?

Shiho: (Nodded in Agreement) Right.

Ryuji: (Turns to Girls With Anger in his Eyes as Well) I'm going too! I don't give a damn he has crazy devil powers! Ain't no way I'm letting him get away with hurting our friends like that!!! And maybe even Ganondorf!!

Yusuke: You know.....(Puts on a Dark Look in his Eyes) It has been a long time since I've used my blade in action.....

Haru: (Has a Darken Look on her Eyes as Well) Couldn't agree more.....My axe has gotten quite dull as of late.....

Morgana: Normally I don't join in on the violence bandwagon immediately....(Puts on a Anger, Determined Look on his Face) But patience be damn! That devil's paying the piece!!

Haru: Well said, sweetie!!

Morgana: (Turns to Lavenza) Lavenza, you're coming with us?

Lavenza: (Already Has a Darken Look on her Face as Well) Of course.....I will punish thee for his cruel and thoughtless actions that was stow upon our two companions. And I will not hesitate to use my full potential in the process. In other words.....(Summons a Blue Colored Chainsaw on the Palm of Her Hands With a Loud Ripping Sound to Boot) The bastard will pay.

Futuba: (Angrily Pumps her Fist Up in the Air) AH YEAH! Let show that punk who's boss!!

Morgana: (Turns to Futuba) Futuba, you don't even know how to fight.

Futuba: (Pours at Morgana) Oh yes I do! Big sis Sae has already taught me the ropes of Self Defense and everything!

Ryuji: We can talk about that later! Right now..... (Points at the Front Door Fiercely) LET'S GET HIS SORRY ASS!!

Everyone: YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Makoto: THAT'S ENOUGH!

Makoto stomps her feet to the ground loud enough to get the rest of the Phantom Thieves' attention.

Makoto: ('Sigh') Calm down and think rationally on this, people! We can't go out there and recklessly fight him like that! He could be powerful enough to stop ALL OF US for all we know!

Ren: Makoto's right, guys. And fighting him is not our main focus at the moment. What we need to do right now is find Kirby and bring him back home.

Lavenza: (Stares at the Couple for a Brief Second Before Sighing in Defeat) The Joker and Queen are right....(Makes the Chainsaw Magically Disappear Out Thin Air) It would be foolish of all of us if we rush in without a proper plan of some kind. We must find Kirby at once.

Ryuji: But how are we gonna him in a huge ass town like this? He could anywhere for all we know!

?????: Poyo!

Ryuji: Hey, Kirby. But as I was saying, I- ('GASPS')

Everyone in the room immediately turns around and sees Kirby happily waving at them.

Kirby: Poyo! Poyo!~

Everyone: (Smiles Brightly at the Smiling Pink Puffball) KIRBY!!~

And with that, everyone (with the exception of Ren, Makoto, and Pit) immediately rushes over to Kirby and express how worried and happy they are about his whereabouts and return.

Makoto: (Watches Everyone in the Background While Sighing in Relief) Well....at least Kirby's back home.

Ren: (Smiles Softly) And not a spec of ashes in his body.

Pit: ('Sighs in Relief and Happiness') I'm so glad......I thought I would actually lose him forever. I would've been really pathetic if that were to happen....

Ren: (Eyes Widened at What Put Just Said) You would've been what now?

Makoto: (Turns to Pit with Worry in her Eyes) Pit, what are you talking about?

Pit: Oh....Well, before or....maybe after Kazuya threw me off of a cliff, he...calls "pathetic".......(Starts to Frown Sadly) And I'm starting think he's rig-

Ren/Makoto: NO HE'S NOT, PIT!!

Ren: Don't believe a SINGLE word from his mouth!!

Makoto: You are NOT pathetic, Pit! And you never will be!

Pit: B-But I lost a fight against him! A-And I wasn't even strong enough to protect Kirby.....

Ren: But Kirby's fine now. He knew he was able to float and use that opportunity to fly away safely.

Pit: I-I mean.... You're right, but-

Makoto: (Gently Place her Hands on Pit's Shoulders) But nothing, Pit. We know what happened to the both of you last night was terrible, but you still did everything you could to stop that man regardless of how strong he was at the time and we couldn't be anymore proud. So please.....(Gently Hugs Pit Lovingly) Don't ever think that way about yourself again.....

Pit: (Almost at a Loss of Words) You guys.....(Tears Starts Falling Down From his Eyes) ('Sniff') I'm sorry.....('Sniff') We didn't mean to worry you....

Ren: (Joins in on the Hug) Hey man, you have nothing to apologize for here.

Makoto: Ren's right. We're just happy that you and Kirby are back home safe.

Ren: We love you, Pit. (Kiss the Top of Pit's Head) Always.

Pit: I....('Sniff') (Gently Hugs Ren and Makoto Back) I love you guys too.....('Sniff') So much.........

Mini Fanfic #793: After the Confrontation (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)

4:25 p.m. at the Smash Mansion's Living Room.......

Ren: Well.......That all happened.

Makoto: I had no idea that confrontation has gotten so intense....

Pit: Yeahhhh.....Our moms can be pretty scary when they want to be....

Kirby: (Nodded in Agreement) Poyo Poyo.

Morgana: I'm just surprised they've actually managed to bring that Kazuya guy down on his knees.

Ren: (Starts Snickering a Little) I know, right? Who would've the the big and bad devil man would get himself whipped that easily?

Makoto: ('Sigh') I'm sure he has a reason for acting the way he did, Ren...... Speaking of which.....(Turns to Futuba and Lavenza, Who Are Still Looking at Kazuya From the Distance) What his he doing now, girls?

Futuba: He's still on his knees!

Lavenza: And I believe he is apologizing his deceased mother in tears and agony!

Ryuji: (Immediately Realizes Something) Ooooooooh! That's right. His mom, Kazumi!

Shiho: You know, I almost kinda forgotten about her entirely to be honest.....

Ann: (Raised an Eyebrow in Confusion) What about his mom exactly?

Ryuji: (Turns to Ann) Okay so, back when Kazuya was a little kid, Heihachi killed her while they were fighting, with an iron fist.

Ann: (Eyes Immediately Starts to Widened in Shock) WHAT!? Why!?

Shiho: Well, in her prospective, she thought that Heihachi and Kazuya would go down a dark path in future. That and she was kinda, sort of destined to kill her husband by the Hachijo Clan.

Ryuji: So before she asked Akuma, of all people, to try and kill Kazuya and Heihachi when the time comes, she decided to deal with her husband herself. Needless to say, it..... really didn't work out for her in the end.

Shiho: Yeah. And the crazy thing about all of this is that her death caused all the other crazy events that happened afterwards. Like how Heihachi overthrown his father of CEO of Mishima Zaibatsu and then throwing Kazuya off a cliff afterwards when he was five or six at time.

Ryuji: Which also caused Kazuya to throw him off a cliff after he won the first Tekken tournament. Buuuuuut Heihachi dropped him down on an active volcano in the second tournament..

Shiho: And then when he starts training his son, Jin, at the time, he betrayed him by having himself and his army shoot at him. Only to get knocked out of a wall thanks to the Devil Gene Jin has when I think he was younger at the time?

Ryuji: Doesn't really help the fact that when the guy beaten Jinpachi in fifth tournament years later and became the new head the corporation, he SOMEHOW caused a literal worldwide war in the process. And I don't even think he knows why he caused it either at this point.other than avenging his ma or whatever.

Ann: (Couldn't Believe What She's Hearing Right Now) ....................What the hell is wrong with these people!?

Shiho: (Simply Shrugs) Being apart of the Mishima Bloodline can do a lot of crazy things for the most part.

Ryuji: No kidding. Can't imagine being apart of a mess up family like that one....

Pit: (Sighs as He Slouches Down on the Floor) Honestly......I'm just glad that this whole Kazuya fiasco is finally done and over with now..... I'm beat.

Kirby: (Slouches Down on the Floor as Well) Poyo....

(Immediately Rushes Over to the Duo and Hugs him Lovingly) Why did you two had go out there alone at night? ('Sniff') Why didn't you tell anyone of US about it beforehand!? Pit: I-It's not like we didn't want you guys to come or anything! We just thought you guys and everyone already has headed to bed. So Kirby and I decided to head out and find Ganondorf. To see if he's okay and stuff.

Ganondorf: (Looks Down at Pit and Kirby) While I appreciate the care and concern, I'd be more happy if you two stayed home instead. (Starts Gritting his Teeth a Bit in Anger) Especially after what the devil breed bastard did to the three of us-

Daisy: (Glares at Ganondorf While Smacking Him on the Shoulder) Ganon. Language. Children!

Ganondorf: Ah. Right. ('Clears Throat') My mistake. (Starts Crossing his Arms) But regardless, my point still stands. (Turns Back to Pit and Kirby) You didn't have to go looking me out in the streets alone at night.

Pit: (Lowers his Head Down in Shame) I know..... We're sorry.....

Kirby: (Lowers his Head Down as Well) Poyo Poyo........

Bayonetta: Oh darlings.....(Make her Way to the Trio and Join in on Their Group Hug) We're not mad at either at you for what happened. Nor are we ever going to punish you for it. We're just worried about your safety is all.

Peach: That's right. (Tears Starts Coming Out From her Eyes) ('Sniff') Our hearts would be broken in pieces if anything terrible would've happen to you two. So please don't ever scare us like that again, okay?

Pit: (Quickly Nodded his Head Along With Kirby) Yes, ma'am. We promise to be more careful next time too!

Palutena: And Pit.

Pit: (Turns Back to Palutena) Yes, mom?

Palutena: (Turns to Pit With a Teary Yet Motherly Look on her Face) I don't ever want you think that you're "Pathetic" or "worthless" from this day forward. Because you're neither of those things. (Place Two of Her Hands on to Both of Pit's Cheeks You've worked very hard be the angel you are today and I couldn't be anymore proud.

Pit: You..... really mean that?

Palutena: (Smiles Softly While Tears Starts Falling Down Again) Of course I do, sweetie....('Sniff') You're my baby boy and I love you so much. ('Sniff') Always and forever more.....

Pit: M-Mom, I.....I......('Sniff') I-I-I.....

And with that, Pit finally begins to burst out in tears in two of his mothers arms. All while being blessed and thankful that he and Kirby are still alive and that they are back home with the group of people they love and cherish for the rest of their lives.

Mini Fanfic #789: Hearing the News....(Super Smash Bros Ultimate)

3:55 p.m. at Smash Town's Big Bang Burger......

Dark Pit: (Angrily Slams his Hand On the Table While Carrying his Phone with the Other) ('Slam') Are you fucking kidding me!?

Kyoko: (Turns to Dark Pit Beside Her) What's wrong, Pitto-Kins?

Dark Pit: Look at this! (Shows Both of his Girlfriends Two Pictures from his Phone) Some jackass with a stupid pointy hair threw Pit and Kirby off the damn cliff!!!

Misako: What are you- (Eyes Begins to Widened at the Slight of the Man in the Picture) Holy shit.......

Kyoko: (Starts Gasping Loudly at the Pictures in Front of Her) Oh my gosh! Is that really Kazuya!?

Dark Pit: (Raised an Eyebrow in Confusion) Kazu what now?

Misako: (Immediately Turns to Dark Pit) Kazuya Mishima, dude!!! He's the main guy from Tekken!

Kyoko: With all the crazy devil powers and daddy issues!!

Dark Pit: I don't think I follow.

Misako: ('Sigh') Alright, one of these days we're gonna play some good ass Tekken together. All you need to know that he is the LAST person you wanna fuck it. That and probably everyone in The Mishima Family.

Kyoko: But wait. I-I don't understand. Why did your brother and Kirby went out there to face him in the first place?

Dark Pit: (Immediately Starts Getting Up From his Table) I don't know why and I don't give a shit. I'm gonna find those two idiots and kick that Kazuya guy's ass!

Kyoko: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock) WHAT!?

Misako: (Got Up From the Table as Well While Glaring at Dark Pit) Did you not heard a word we just said!? That guy is dangerous!

Dark Pit: ('Scoffs') Please. I can be dangerous too.

Misako: (Immediately Grab her Boyfriend's Hand) I'm serious, DP! You can't just go in and fight someone you have little to no knowledge of.

Kyoko: (Gives Dark Pit a Worried Look on her Face) Misako's right, babe. There's a high possible chance that you losing if that were to happen! Maybe even WORSE in Kazuya's case!

Dark Pit: But.....('Sigh') I wanna go and save my brothers.....

Misako: I know you do, babe, and we will find and save. We just need form a plan before we do anything else. (Place her Arm Around Dark Pit While Slowly Putting Him Back Down on his Seat With Her) Now, try and calm down for us, alright? It's not gonna do you any good if you keep stressing out about this.

Dark Pit: (Sighs in Defeat as He Finally Calms Himself Down) Yeah.... You're right....Sorry about all of that.

Kyoko: (Hugs Dark Pit Arm's Beside Her) It's okay, Pitto-Kins. We understand how you feel about all of this.

Misako: (Place her Hand on Dark Pit's Other Arm) Yeah, babe. We'll all of this figure this out togeth-

Dark Pit's phone suddenly starts buzzing ok the table before the angel picked it up and sees the message that was sent to him.

Dark Pit: ('Sighs in Complete Relief') Oh thank, goddess mom....

Misako: What is it this time?

Dark Pit: Ren just sent a pic. (Shows Misako and Kyoko a Picture of Pit, Kirby, and the Phantom Thieves Happily Taking a Picture Together) Kirby and Pit-Stain are back home safe...

Misako: ('Sighs in Relief') That's a relief.....(Smirks Softly at her Dark Angel Boyfriend While Playfully Poking his Cheek) Bet that makes you happy now, doesn't it?

Dark Pit: (Sighs While Rolling his Eyes) Yeah. It does....(Eyes Widened a Bit Once He Realized Something) But....wait a minute. Why exactly does that Kazuya guy has daddy issues exactly?

Misako: Oh. Well, you see, Heihachi, Kazuya's father, threw him off of a cliff when he was six.

Dark Pit: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock) Ex-Fucking-Cuse me!?

Misako: (Starts Rubbing the Back of her Head Back and Forth) Yeahhhh.... Apparently that was his way of testing his strength of sorts..... Mostly cause he has Devil powers or whatnot.

Kyoko: (Smiles Brightly While Still Hugging Dark Pit's Arm) But don't worry! There's a happy ending in all of this! Once he beats his father in the first Tekken tournament, Kazuya threw HIM off a cliff instead!~ Buuuuut after that, Heihachi threw him off a cliff again. But.... instead of an actual cliff, it was an active volcano.....And then after that, he shot Jin in the head, that's his grandson by the way, before he got slammed into the wall and fell down. And then there was his father, Jinpachi, who tried to kill him for imprisoning the poor guy underneath a compound and taking over Mishima Zaibatsu all those years before Kazuya was even born, but I think that in it of itself, was another story altogether.

Dark Pit: (Eyes and Mouth Widened in Complete Disbelief)........................What the fuck is wrong with these people?......

Misako: (Simply Shrugs) You'd be surprised by how messed up the Mishima Bloodline really is, babe.

Sega’s Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has announced “legal suspense action” game Project Judge (western working title) / Judge Eyes: Shinigami no Yuigon for PlayStation 4. It will launch on December 13 in Japan, Asia, and Korea for 8,290 yen, and in the west in 2019. A demo will be available today in Japan. (Update 11:30 a.m.: The demo is available now.)

Sega is proud to announce that the new courtroom thriller from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, Project Judge (working title), will release in 2019 on the PlayStation 4. Project Judge will feature the voice acting talents of Japanese actor / artist Takuya Kimura as the game’s main protagonist, Takayuki Yagami.

Project Judge takes place in modern day Tokyo, following a serial murder case. The main protagonist, private detective Takayuki Yagami (played by Takuya Kimura), is a man of conviction who fights for his beliefs, despite the overwhelming despair surrounding him. Kimura has met extensively with the game’s development team to craft this protagonist, dedicating more than 1,000 minutes of voice recording time for his lines. By putting forth so much effort in developing this role, Project Judge aims to redefine what it means to truly bring a character to life.

Other talented actors, including Akira Nakao, Kenichi Takito, Shosuke Tanihara, and Pierre Taki were brought in to play the game’s supporting roles. Additionally, the rock band Alexandros enhances the drama to its peak with the original theme song Arpeggio and feature song, Your Song. This game is developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios headed by Sega Chief Product Officer Toshihiro Nagoshi. The studio is known primarily for their work on the Yakuza series, which has sold over 11 million copies worldwide. To create an experience in line with the studio’s core belief to “Create enjoyable games that address mature themes” the team spent more than 3 years developing Project Judge‘s story and characters.

Enhancing the game’s position as a courtroom thriller and embodying the feeling of playing a detective, players will need to utilize key investigative skills in conjunction with unique gameplay features to unveil the truths hidden at the core of Project Judge‘s plot.

What lies beyond the suffering and failures of the man trapped within his past; is it a divine revelation, or something more sinister? Takayuki Yagami (cast: Takuya Kimura)

The main protagonist of Project Judge.

A fiercely idealistic ex-defense lawyer turned private detective. After facing a devastating betrayal by one of his former clients, he became known as a fraud who lets murderers run free, effectively destroying his reputation.

Now he’s caught up in an enigmatic serial murder case and will need to push his investigative skills to their limit to solve it.

Takashi Genda (cast: Akira Nakao)

A gritty lawyer who has taken on the role of overseeing Yagami’s growth since the start of his career as a lawyer.

Even after Yagami’s incident that forced him out of the legal world, Genda still looks after him and helps him find work from time to time.

Kazuya Ayabe (cast: Kenichi Takito)

A detective with Tokyo PD’s Organized Crime Division.

Ayabe is a crooked cop who withholds information on investigations for his own benefit, but often helps Yagami with his cases – for a price.

Mitsuru Kuroiwa(cast: Shosuke Tanihara)

A detective with the Tokyo PD’s Organized Crime Division, famous for his leadership skills and high successful arrest rate in Kamurocho.

A talented officer who plays by the rules, Kuroiwa sees unknown elements like Yagami as a dangerous nuisance.

Kyohei Hamura (cast: Pierre Taki)

Captain of the Matsugane family, a subsidiary of the Tojo Clan based in Kamurocho.

Hamura is self-centered, but he’s also a mastermind skilled in taking others down for his own benefit. He’s heavily involved with Yagami throughout the serial murder case.

The demo video that Director Nagoshi showed us was so cool, we were able to envision a song very quickly.

From there, we had multiple meetings and the lyrics kept flowing until it was a complete piece that we feel very strongly about.
